I have been trying to get a node working but it seems to not work and is kind of annoying I want to set up a farm and it not even working on one pc is slowing down my progress. I tried everything on this page:Automated rendering and network rendering in After Effects (adobe.com) I cannot get the non-royalty bearing mode to turn on: "RUN AERENDER IN NON-ROYALTY BEARING MODEAfter Effects CS5.5 had to be serialized on render-only machines due to licensing issues. In After Effects CS6 and later, you can now run aerender or use Watch Folder in a non-royalty bearing mode, so serialization not required. To ensure that After Effects is running in non-royalty bearing mode, place a blank file named ae_render_only_node.txt into the following location:Install After Effects on the render-only machine.Mac locations:/Users/<username>/Documents//Users/Shared/Adobe/Windows locations:C:\Users\<username>\DocumentsC:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe"
Dear community, I'm facing a huge issue with the Adobe Media Encoder. Everytime I try to render multiple videos from After Effects via the Media Encoder, the first 2 videos get rendered perfectly. But the third video always crashes the programm. It starts encoding but then suddenly stops. When I try to stop the rendering process and confirm in the pop-up windown, the entire programm freezes and I get the rainbow circle. I always stop the porgramm with Force Quit. Here's what I've tried: After a restart of the programm, it still won't render. After a restart of my mac, it still won't render. After switching off "Parrallel Encoding", it still won't render. After switching to "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only", it still won't render. After completely re-installing the newest version of the Encoder, it still only renders the first 2 videos. ONLY after a hard shut down and start up of the mac, the Media Encoder works for 2 more times. I'm looking forward to your su
Could it be possible to use encoder to infinitely render a stream so I can add effects as it mavos along? I would also like something like a feature that as it is being rendered I can change like for example I set a cut at 5 minutes parameter that automatically cuts the video every 5 minutes so the stream can keep gong uninterupted if something fails. if I want to render 48 hours of video a lot can go wrong but at certain times I might want to change the parameter to 10 minutes or an hour dependend on what I am doing. Then I could add some Ai/deeplearning algorythms to change what content is going to start to become like after a certain period of time etc.
I don't know if this is possible but cutting a video short mid track and/or being capable of adding effects to it as it is rendering would be great. this way I could create a continuous stream of content bebing rendered that I can alter as it moves along.
My previous machines had 4 core and 6 core processors now that I am using 10 core removing threads makes the render faster. The previous two often used only betweeen 20% and 60% of the cpu now it sky rockets to 100% but at 100% it is slower ten wehn I reduce it to 60%.
When I turn on ae renderer they go down I though because it reduced resources available but now I wonder which ones? reducing the cpu threads makes it faster!
I am getting the error message shown in image - even though after effects & media encoder are both up to date '2022 version' Can anyone help, I need to export something asap!
when i export the video from after effect to media encoder, the program does not reveal the video, i uninstalled both but the problem is still there, the versions are the latest installed

Gracias
Hi everyone,I have footage coming from 8mm and Super 8 cinema in Prores 422 at native frame rate 16 or 18 frame persecond 2560x1920. I need to work with proxy even with a Ryzen 9 3950x 64Gb RAM and a GTX 1660 super graphic card.My problem is that even when I choose a frame rate "as per the original" Media encoder gives me a frame rate of 15 frames per second insterad of the native frame rate.If I try to enter the frame rate manually, the drop down menu only offers 15 frame per second, but no 16 and no 18.This is valid for Proxy as well as coding configuration.Does anyone has an idea on how to overcome this shortcoming? Thanks for your help.
The last version, Adobe Media Encoder 2022 is not working properly, Dynamic link is not connecting with my Adobe After Effects proyects, please fix that! Can't work with this version
A couple of hours ago all Adobe apps were updated -ALL of Them!- Tried rendering an AE project, 5 seconds in length, via Media Encoder.First attempt via standard file menu. ME starts up but project does not show anywhere.Second attempt tried from Comp menu, ME, project shows in ME and starts up blue barber pole graphic below "Connecting to project" that's all it does nothing else after about an hour.Third attempt went to add to render queue in AE- that works rendering only in avi format though. Tried the add to ME button in AE render queue window, same result as second attempt. When I close ME it claims rendering is in progress. Considering it took less than 5 seconds to render in AE, no it isn't.Clearly this is a software issue not hardware as so many others are reporting similar problems and I guarantee we are not using the same hardware. Plus it is possible to render direct in AE -have not tried PR yet.
Aie je regrette de l'avoir installé en virant les anciennes version. Je dois faire comme si ce logiciel n'existait pas. Chuis dégoutttée là.
Hello, I have Adobe animate and I am working on animation projects. I've finished my animation and wanted to export it as an MP4, but I ran into a problem. When I try to export it and open Media Encoder, it says that the rendering failed and gives me an error code 3. How can I fix this?
Hi, in Media encoder, if I click on Media Encoder-->Preferences to open the preferences nothing happens. Same is true for Keyboard Shortcuts. I was using v15 when this problem occurred and have updated to the latest v22.0 hoping it would solve it but it didn't. Also getting issues now with projects not coming through from After Effects and when they do, I get the blue dymanic link loading bar across the bottom and it doesn't render. iMac Pro, Catalina v10.15.73 GHz 10-Core Intel Xeon W64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4Radeon Pro Vega 64 16 GB
Hey, for some reason AME fails to create the video when its on 100% progress leaving me with 3 different files which are .mp4 .aac and m4v.. is there any way to uses these files without having to encode again? and heres the error report - Video: 1920x1080 (1.0), 29.97 fps, Progressive, Hardware Encoding, 01;49;59;21 - Audio: AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo - Bitrate: VBR, 1 pass, Target 12.00 Mbps - Encoding Time: 20:22:5410/17/2018 08:43:13 AM : File Encoded with warning------------------------------------------------------------File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of Sequence 02.mp4. Hi,I'm looking for the way to encode mov file in H264. I want the video data smaller size (like 1h long video in a few GB).The reason why I want to make mov file because some kind of Android phone cannot play mp4. I'm using Mac (OS Catalina 10.15.3) and Media Encoer 2021.I could find some information saying that there is no way to encode mov files in H264 since 2018(?) by Media Encoder. If there is any idea of encoding mov(H264) in new virsion (Media Encoder 2022) or using by other free software, please tell me the solution for me! Thanks for reading my question from JP.
I am trying to find out how to use a second computer to encode Premiere sequences, when I came across Watch Folders in a 2020 blog about how to do just this. Aha! But no, it says in my AME manual:Premiere Pro and After Effects project files are not recognized, as there is no mechanism to select an individual Premiere Pro sequence or After Effects composition from inside the project file. Is there any way for my system – CS6 under a 2013 iMac - to use Watch Folders so that a second computer can encode? i.e. could I subscribe to an updated AME on the second computer? What version of AME? Thanks
This is not OKAY media encoder not open after Updating.
I've been trying to create a very unique graphic, a 498X4 pixel 10 second animated mp4 video. So in After Effects I created the composition with a 498X4 resolution and was happy with the end result. I click file, export to media encoder, and choose the export location using h264. For some reason, the file exports as 16X16 pixels, and I'm confused as to why. I repeat the above except I look at the export settings; the file is supposedly going to export as 498X16 pixels! I'm like, fine, I can work with this, and export again. The file is again exported as 16X16 pixels. What? I try changing some of the numbers in height and width and am then unable to change the resolution back to 16X498 inside media encoder; See, normally at this point I'd be OK because I could just choose to export as a PNG image sequence but I *have* to upload the mp4 file somewhere. There were 'other solutions' like exporting as 1992X16 pixels or exporting in render que of after effects as a .mov or .avi file, but nei

Hello Community, I am struggling to solve an issue related to the Media Encoder for several days now. The Internet seems to have no answers related to the versions I am using. I have created and edited a compostion in After Effects and tried to export it via Media Encoder. If I now try to change the output format to 1080p Youtube for example, the program starts loading infinitely and crashing after a while. If I just try to start the render process it is the same. My versions:After Effects V 18.0Media Encoder V 15.0 What I have done so far:- Cleared Disk Media Cache- Reinstalled both AE and AME- Changed back to an older version in AME- Changed the Cache Folders etc. in both AE and AME It just looks like nothing seems to help at all. A few weeks ago, I didn't have any trouble at all. Maybe someone of you knows how to solve this.
I am trying to identify a modern/current server class GPU I can place into a virtualised infrastructure like the A10 for example, but am struggling. https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/data-center/products/a10-gpu/ This is the latest hardware specification for AME https://helpx.adobe.com/media-encoder/system-requirements.html but there are only workstation class GPUs listed. We are specifying an High Availabillity Adobe Media Encoder system, running in multi-region VMWARE infrastructure using GPU Passthrough to the VMs running AME for central confirm. Our server supplier is not 100% comfortable putting a workstation class piece of hardware under this AME machine in a datacentre, and wonder if there is somewhere else I should be looking? It was suggested by another team at Adobe, that I ask this question here.
