Adobe Scan

Hello all. I would like to uninstall the Adobe Scan app to create space on my Android phone, but will doing this also delete my scanned documents that get saved to the cloud (automatically I think)?   Thank you,Ellesy  

HiNot able to share scanned documents as a copy Since 15july 2023. Instead of the pdf file this message gets sent "Created and shared using Adobe Scan. Get the app: https://adobescan.app.link/getapp" while trying to share the scanned pdf file as Copy via email or Whattsapp. However it is working normally ie the scanned pdf file is shared as a copy if we use airdrop on iOS. I am sure the problem started after updating to Version 23.08.15 two days ago.Please resolve the issue asap.

Here's the situation: I was being (overly) confident about my upload and decided to take photos and compile on the app directly. I was struggling with the internet connection even though I had data, but I would occasionally switch connections.   What happened was, two files were somehow uploaded and I decided to delete both because in the recent (like the one you're working on, the one that shows on the very top of the screen) my progress was still there.   Or so I thought- it was stuck on "waiting to upload..." and I thought it would get over that but it didn't. I can't modify it, I can't share it, I just really can't do anything about it. It was a very important file to me and I have no extra copies of that... I'm hoping this problem can be dealt with properly. I'm using a Nova 3i and it was my first time risking taking the photos on the app itself without having other backups.   Thank you for reading about my issue and I really hope I can recover that file... have a n

Scanned pages are all gone, is there any chance to recover them? I scanned over 50 pages and I think  i somehow got a message whether resuming the last session. i don't know what i chose.anyway, the scanned pages were not saved at all.  

Adobe scan didn't show a single pdf I've saved in the past. What would i do know?There are important files which i needed. Could see only my recent or new saved file. Please help

Can Adobe scan name documents automatically like apple notes scan ?

Unable to open the app,auto quitting from last one week.Unable to acess the scanned documents. 

I've been using Adobe Scan on my iPhone 11 Pro Max for several years with no issues.  When I want to scan a small document (e.g. 2" x 2"), I just hold the phone close to the document and all the fine print comes out crystal clear.  With the new iPhone 15 Pro Max, when I hold it close the image doesn't focus.  If I hold it far away (e.g. 12") to achieve focus, then manually zoom in on the screen, I can get a clean image but the text is fuzzy because its at the limit of the camera resolution (the text is only 1 or 2 mm high).  I've noticed that when just using the camera app by itself to take a picture of the same document, the camera appears to change lenses and a tulip icon appears in the lower left corner of the screen.  Is there a way for Adobe Scan to do the same? Attached is a PDF showing the different scan results from the iPhone 11 and 15. Thanks!Jon

I can't compress files. It is not clear why.

I have a very strange issue when I scan off an image in my camera roll as opposed to taking a picture. In this case I want to turn a screenshot of an email into a PDF. However, when I select the image via Adobe Scan, it's strangely warped, like a piece of paper being moved while physically scanned.Why is this happening? I would have assumed a nice straight sharp scan would be the easiest thing for Scan to parse. iPhone 15 Pro Max

I use Adobe Scan app (android) for scan books. When I scaned a page, I converted to the text very easily. But after some days it doesn't work and doesn't recognize thext and the app says: No quick actions found.How can I fix that?Thanks

Can I use the scanner app without automatic upload of the document to the cloud?I want to upload my scans manually to gdrive or Dropbox. 

I'm trying to scan a document and save it as a PDF. Scan works, and I get the option to "save as pdf." But when it's finished I can't find my saved PDF anywhere on my device or in the cloud. What is happening? This used to work flawlessly and was so easy. I've not used scan for about a year, so something must have changed. Updated to latest version, latest version of iOS too. Where in god's name is Scan saving my pdfs? Yours in frustration (sorry!)Lori

I have scanned 200+ pages and now whenever i tried to modify that file i always be kicked out of that file and the Adobe reader app is also getting turn off. whenever i starts continue it do it again. Is anything i can get ride of it? please help.

Hi,I scanned sth two days ago, now this Scan is the only that is left in the Adobe Scan App. All I had before disappeared. How is that possible? I searched for similar cases in the forum, reinstalling the App, which helped in another case, didn't solve the problem. can anybody help me please?

I took an unreadable 60 years paper doc, read it with Adobe scan... not only it beautified the original, but I am even able to SEARCH through it! All wutn my celular phone, and the free to use Adobe APP, from Google Play Store. WHAT A WONDERFUL WORK

Is it possible to share folders worth of scans to an external email or better yet extract all my scans and transfer them to a different account?

I'm getting a generic error using the iOS app when trying to delete an image. 

When you scan documents and save pdf on Adobe cloud, do the same data remain in the smartphone? Can you remove the data from the smartphone but not from the Adobe cloud?
