Wrong place , I know...and my apologies to forum members. I have to vent about how Adobe avoids contact with customers through virtual assistant bots and FAQs etc on my account. No way can I resolve a billing issue related to a trial subscription. and Adobe offers. Anyone been able to contact a real person in this regard? I assure you..I tried everything through my account etc.!!!! I am frustrated and outraged by Adobe billing me a FEE for Cancelling an account that was a free period offer frm Adobe, backed onto a Trial Period (when I cancelled an initial Trial inside time limits.)

Long time fan and advocate for the Legacy Titler but I have been away from Premiere for about five years and things have happened. Thought I better give Essential Graphics a fairtrial run and explore and see how it would have fitted into my well established work flows...mostly in the post production of TV Commmercial spots. ie graphic and images. I usually worked with a client art director/ designer in the room at this point FWIW So a basic easy start...how do I get super imposed letters over my video frame? From the Edit Work space I simply select the T Icon and click it on the Program Monitor. Yes I can type on Text and it appears directly on the sequence above my video frame. So far so good. Now I need attributes for the text so ...I guess I open Essential Graphics Pane...Whats this. BROWSE TEMPLATES...huh?...art director looks at me!!! Oh...there is an EDIT Button...oh...ok....Yep ...confusing...but that works Now I probably need some controls...EFX Control Window and keyframes maybe. Yep that works. Ok leave it there for now and do the next graphic...and so on... Thing is...where is my Title Asset in the Project when we want to revisit, duplicate, modify, do an alternative based on same title, use in an alternative edit/ project....... Reveal in Project (greyed out) Might have missed something...but I never had a graphic I could not achieve in Premiere Legacy, Photoshop,, AEFX from a blank video frame. Maybe I am too Legacy myself to work without assets in Bins or Project but it was common for me to stack graphics, titles, logos all from different asests and sources. PSDs, AEX, PNG, Premiere Titler...etc Question...why is it called ESSENTIAL GRAPHICS? Meaningless to me.

The Preview Rate in AE is just that...a preview. when you Render it..it should Peview at assigned frame rate.

Absolutely Its called Area Type Tool in the Legacy Titler and..god only knows what, in the dogs breakfast called Captions and Graphics. Be a sad day for me that the Legacy Titler dissapears into the Adbobe vacuum called Feature Creep!!!!!

If the Sequence Pane is in Focus all you need to do is start typing on the Number Pad to enter Time Code Tip _ I have a Short Cut for the Sequence Pane.

I am looking to find the Adobe TERMS if one purchases Premiere on a monthly basis....which I assume to mean the User can turn the the subscription On and Off month by month ( as per need and usage) How do others find this Monthly Plan works? I would create a sub clip or sub sequence of the scenes...make my CC and Grade and use those in the edit. Exporting and reimporting is also no big deal. If you have After Effects you can key the clip on the green screen ....then export it with an alpha channel and use that as your source clip. THat would allow you to cc BG and Overlay clip separately. I dont think you can export with alpha in PPRO but maybe you can export with an alpha mask only.

I have been reading the various solutions and fixes to the MME Internal Device issue. ( which I am currently experiencing) My question.... Does this issue also create an irritating loud audible "bing bong" sound thru the speakers. It sounds like a notification sound. It is not coming from an online source. SOLVED. 1. Turned off INPUT in Hardware Device Options 2. Bing Bong sound is System Sounds for Connect / Disconnect ie plugs in the sound card. I set Systems Sound for these to NONE

Returning to Premiere and this forum after a considerable abscence!!! I need to revisit some legacy projects from CC2014, CC2015. How will latest PPro version handle this? Just completed a rather heart wrenching exercise of removing all Adobe Applications from my systems. Was tougher to do than I thought emotionally! Decided not to renew my licences for various reasons. I have been a long time user of Premiere, After Effects and Photo Shop... and in fact ...most likely the longest member on this Premiere Forum August 11, 2002 was my join up. Seen many people come and go and only one or two remain that I recognise...Hi Ann Bens, Hi Kevin-Monahan Did enjoy my time as a professional contributor to this forum very much... and we did have some fun and the occasional rark up in the Video Lounge over issues. I have loved / adored...using Premiere, After Effects and Photo Shop and seen a lot of progress since the very, very FIRST Premiere Version. That is what a Ripple Edit does. ie It closes the gap by bringing the trailing clips forward to meet the prior clips . Its logical when you think about it. The start time is a constant reference.

Although..not usually source files...I frequently use PPros Offline Media >Delete... to remove files from my HDD. This is in the case of Exports I dont need or have revised for what ever reason and I need to get them out of my Project (Clear) and off the HHD ( Delete Media) Strangely..this function has always had an error in PPro where by ..you can not name an Export ...the same name as a DELETED File!

Why did you plan a key shot on a white BG...especially considering you have white image content! You could try masking and rotoscoping in After Effects and that will be succesfull... assuming the actual image is decently shot. Which I have my doubts!

No idea why the luma should jump if it "actually" was in range for export. OE maybe ? Try LEVELS EFFECT Apply it and check that the program maxs at 100% (It should auto limit at 100 IRE) Try Setting White to 95% and see what scopes indicate through program. Visual Difference of 95 or 100 are un discernible by eye and I usually legalise at 95% for PAL TV Broadcast. I tested PPRO Video Limiters and found them to be NASTY. Never used them ever again since testing them and never had a QC fail.

SOLVED Update had changed Audio Hardware to ASIO. Only in PPro . Not Audition. Changing that to MME in PPRO and select the options fixed it for me. Maybe that will help someone in same instances.

Worked fine this morning before computer restart this afternoon and insidious Microsoft UPDATE ( 45 minutes worth of update!!!) Now ..NO AUDIO output. Preferences>Audio Hardware ...only shows my Black Magic Card audio device as an option....that I have never used as audio output.before... and I dont want to do so now. How do I restore my previous audio output device? (Onboard) Got to love how MS changes file associations to MS products...eg pdfs to Edge and audio files to Groove....SHEESH. THanx for any help.
