I'm amazed to see that after I upgraded, got a new computer and reloaded all my Adobe Creative Cloud apps I'm having all kinds of probelms with unknown errors now I see that I cannot install Adobe InDesign because my Mac drive is case sensative. After doing research on this I see that Adobe is reocmmen ding eiterh to re format the drive for uncase sensative ( or mac journaled) to install Adobe products. I find this absolutely ludecris as a solution. So Adobe is expecting all users with xase sensative drives to do this??? NO WAY. Can someone please let me know about this as I'm having issues wiith Acrobat and Indesign so far. RD

Happens with all pdf's all are stored locally
I uninstalled and re installed acrobat and still same problem
Root account is inly account on the machine
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: I HAD THIS PLAN FOR A LONG TIME , I RECENTLY DOWNGRADED LAST MONTH TO JUST A PHOTOSHOP ACCOUNT THEN REALIZED I NEED ACROBAT AND ILLUSTRATOR SO I CHANGED THE PLAN TO WHAT I HAVE NOW.
COULD YOU CHECK THE ACCOUNT PLEASE

All my Adobe apps are in my Application folder, when I go to update InDesign it tells me there is a problem with the path. DO I uninstall and re install the app to fix this????

OK I was able to extrude and bevel the .svg but now the last thing or maybe it should have been the first when I created the circle and line is to be able to have text run inside the red circle, text across top and text across bottom. I need to make sure that when I bevel and extrude the circle and line .svg the text just stays flat on the circle. ???

Amazing how nobody answered my first post on this. Again, I have an image created in Photoshop , I need to bevel and extrude in AI. I try with 3d classic but it does the entire image with the background even though it's a .png which is in attached Any help in doing this?? Here is the image 2.

Ok I created a circle and slash in AI, I want to add a 3D effect but I get message obly certain works on some types of images. Its like I'm adding more than one instance when I'm not. work flow is create circle no fill 150pt stroke create line no fill 150pt stroke merge together add 3d , then I get the message, it has to be something I'm doing in the workflow , amy help?

Added rules looks great but does NOT export to epub. I had an underline BEFORE adding the rules. I removed underline and added the two rules but it does not export to epub Reflowable ?????

I need to create these lines above and below a chapter title in ID. I can create a simple underline UNDERNEATH the text but what about above it? Once done corrdctly I have to export the doc as an epub and want to make sure there is good spacing.

Ok I have a fixed layout epub, everypage is a pdf image . First I made a TOC using hyperlinks and linking them to their pages. Works fine, but I realize client does not want. So now I needed to create an xhtml TOC using the TOC dropdown, creating styles for the actual list and links on each page. Since each page is an image I created text boxes and created a special style for those boxes using NONE as the fill. I still see the text on the pages in the published epub even if I put the style box UNDERNEATH the pdf on the page. I tried setting opacity to 0 but It does not work. Any help here ??????

In Design 2022, I need to import 123 .jpgs Each .jpg is one full page for fixed layout epub. So the .indd will be 123 pages. I know there is a way to place, tried holding shift or space bar. I have done this while importing a docx in the ost now I need to do the same with jpgs anyone??

OK if I use Save As in InDesign, select .tiff and check embed color profile it will save and look fine. So does that mean I need to esport all the artwork into Photoshop re save the way I just did then remove the orignal artwork and place each image back onto its page in the InDesign doc? A ton of work, ???

Great question, a little bit confused myself , if I go to a page and click the artwork on the page it comes up in the link box and the info is a Tiff, colorspace - Grayscale + spot. In the layers box the entore artwork is on ONE layer and the text is on another. I see the color in the .indd file. Does that help?

Ok I have an InDesign .indd, using InDesign 2022 I was exporting the file as a fixed layout. The document is a childrens book with images drawn ( a few colors) When I look at the epxorted epub I see that the images are missing colors, so I exported as a pdf and I see the same thing. Then I copied a few of the images to photoshop and it copies the same way. Then I see a message in PS "This document contains references to color books which are not installed" I looked for this in Google and see it was addressed back in 2019 having to do with pantone colors V2 and V3. The article is so long I could not find a solution to correct this. So I'm asking here, How do I get the images to export correctly?

Exported a file from InDesign as a Fixed layout Epub. The EPub was made from importing a multiple pdf file into In Design. I know how to add a TOC to a flowing layout but how do I add a clickable TOC to a fixed Layout Epub?? I looked for tutes but can't find. Anyone?

Ok I have a multiple page pdf which is 6x9. I need to create a fixed layout epub and mobi file using In Design. I used the multiple pdf script and it imports fine except for two things I need to do. 1. Resize the pdf so it fits in a 8.5 x 11 .indd, if I do not resize there will be too much whitespace. 2. I need to have the imported pages automatically line up with the bleed instead of the left corner. Anyone??
