I created a project Library with colors, character styles & components. I have given specific names with variables to all the colors used in the library, which is very useful for the work of the dev team, who directly define colors in this way. When they then work on a specific screen in the project prototype, they see the name of the variable used for a component and easily navigate.But this only happens in the library itself, and I would like to be able to import the colors directly from the library and into the project prototype file so that this functionality is available here as well.     {Title renamed by MOD}

I am trying to find the right / best tool for the below use case:I want to make a simple prototype with a tool that checks a website for some text. When this text changes, a corresponding image on the screen also changes.For example:Assuming I have 2 assets in the library "apple.png" and "orange.png" & I can control a website that displays the names of the fruits.The prototype app first checks the website - it finds the text: "apple" -> Now the prototype reads this text and displays "apple.png"I then manually change the website to show the text "orange" -> Since the prototype checks the website every second or at some "X" frequency, and it now displays from its assets "orange.png"Any suggestions on how to make this? Can it be done? Hence, I need the following features:Rest API / Socket.io / Network Request / Web ScrapingImage display manipulation based on the result of above point

Our team is using the same XD file for weeks but all of a sudden the cloud file is not opening and the screen is stuck on "Connecting." The file is there on the home screen but we are unable to have access to the same.

Hi, I can no longer access any prototype via the link. Can you give me some information?

I am copying some text, icons etc from an artboard which are to be pasted in several other artboards. Then, as usual, I select all the other artboards in which I want to paste these things, and press cmd+v. Then these objects are getting pasted in only two of the selected artboards and the rest of the artboards are appearing unselected.

Hello, This is the first time I try to export my artboart in adobe xD and I get a really poor quality when I export de design (x1) JPG or PNG so it becomes impossible to put it on a portfolio.The text looks blurry not like on the design. Can you tell me how to fix that ?  I'm using a artboard of 1440. Couldn't find a solution even from this article https://medium.com/thinking-design/protip-exporting-assets-in-adobe-xd-c586996de703. Thank you   

Hi,I have XD on my iPad. When I open it, it only shows a menu bar at the bottom with icons: cloud, share, connect cellphone with screen and setting. It doesn't show me anything to use the XD or start a project. What's wrong with it?   {Renamed By MOD}

Why my file is not exporting properly into svg with inner shadow?

When an image is dragged directly into a shape from the browser, it seems impossible to retrieve the image from the shape to re-mask it? This really limits what could be an amazing workflow within Adobe XD, or am I missing something? In every other way it seems to function as a mask. Is there a solution that avoids have to drag the image back in from the browser and resize?

Hello, I've seen several issues raised about the voice/microphone recording during Preview, very similar to what I am experiencing.  As with Jean-Claud's, I have uninstalled, cleared all preferences, and already activated the option next to the Record icon. I got the permissions pop-up and enable it. I already made sure that the microphone permissions are enabled with XD in the System Settings, I restarted XD and the Mac. Still nothing. The microphone works well in other programs (I just used it with Camtasia, Google Slides, and a bunch of online meeting apps) and it is only with Adobe XD that I'm having this issue.I'm on a Macbook Pro, Mojave OS 10.14.6, and I'm working with Adobe XD 28.9.12.2. I've tried solutions offered in these posts, but neither was really helpful:XD Microphone inputNot able to record voice and audio playbacks even my microphone is enabledUnable to record audio while recording prototypeand the Jean-Claude post mention at the beginning of my po

Hi. I was told there's a free Adobe XD starter plan. When I try to download it, it's only giving me a 7 day free trial option or other packages that aren't free. Anyone know how I can download the starter plan? I'm in Israel- maybe it's not available in all countries?Thanks

Hi everyone, I'm currently running into an issue with layers in my newest design.  As you can see in my attached image, the layers don't work properly. I'm e.g. trying to put the rectangle quote on top of the image, and in the layer navigation it looks like it should be working, but it doesn't with the skewed elements. I'm working with the latest Adobe XD version on Windows 10.  

Hi, I work on a team where we use the font Acumin Variable Concept. I'm the only one on the team who is unable to access the font in XD. When I open an XD document using this font, it comes up as missing.I do have access to the font in InDesign, Ilustrator and Photoshop. Only XD gives me errors with this font. I uninstalled and re-installed XD, which did not fix it. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I am designing a webpage and I want to create a hyperlink which when clicked will download a pdf document to the users computer, see pic below: I have successfully created the instagram link and also the "email me" link. I wish to upload a pdf to the page which can be downloaded by clicking the "Download my media kit" component. Please help 

I've embedded an XD prototype into my case study page on my website, and I've noticed that the embed seems to load in the entire prototype. Mine is chock full of images and I am already concerned because this seems to load a whole lot of resources which will slow down my page load times and chew through my visitors mobile data, and I worry about the future when my prototypes will be far bigger and heavier. What can I do on the development side to use less resources for these embeds, and what role does Adobe have in reducing this resource consumption?
