Adobe XD

I am trying to design multiple components in multiple apps, and combine them in XD. To do this I need to match the sizes of objects relative to the artboard canvas size.   However, I'm having a problem matching sizes, as my 1920 px by 1080 px is absolutely huge in XD, taking up most of my monitor at 100%zoom, but the same size in Photoshop and Illustrator seems much smaller by comparison, even at 100% zoom. Why would these be different? Which one is accurate? This should be an easy/ basic issue, and yet I'm very confused. Did anyone else notice that XD has changed their colors with the latest update? I may be unaware of some setting, but I could not find any information related to this in my extensive searches. I have a preview link (on the right) from the older version that has the true colors and then you can see the version 50 (on the left) has modified all my colors. If I have a text block in Regular in XD and only want to write selected words in Bold, it no longer works. Suddenly the whole text block is bolded. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?   {Title Renamed by MOD}

Adobe XD is the only app that uses a lot of CPU even when it's idle. I don't want to close it, but I wonder why the CPU is always in use by XD! Windows 10 RAM 64GB XD version 50.0.12     <Title renamed by moderator>

The XD's shared link won't open in the browser and gives me this error: Something went wrong. You can try accessing the link again or, if the error persists, report the error.   It's been a week since I have this issue. would you please help me to fix it?   <Title renamed by moderator>

I have logged out and back into CC and rebooted my pc ..nothing worjsI have adobe enterprisse with my work and it includes xd which i have been using for years

I can not duplicate itesm on an Artboard. Command D does nothing, click and drag holding down options duplicates the object as long as I am holding down the option key — when I release it, the duplicated object disappears. Copy and paste also produce no results. With the Layers panel I see these objects briefly appear at the top most layer and then disappear. In troubleshooting, I thought that because the oibjects were grouped (not components) that it might be an issue with groups. It was then that I realized ungrouping objects no longer worked either. In trying to test an ungrouped object, I drew a new one and now that disappears as soon as I release my mouse as well.    In short, the bulk of the useful features in XD are now broken and useless. I restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled XD and the proble persists.    No recent OS update occured and there are no pending updates in Creative Cloud.    Max OS 11.6.5 2.5ghz quad-core Intel Core

I created and updated different boards in XD but when I come to generate a new link to share my prototype, old versions of the boards are displayed in the prototype. Do you have any idea how to reset the prototype and get a fresh version with all the latest boards ?   Thank you in advance   <Title renamed by moderator>

Hi, Adobe xD is stuck on launch (logo screen) windows, I can't finish my project and I have a deadline, I tried reinstalling the application, updating drivers, going in the registry editor, using an even lower version of the Adobe xD, updating windows, installing Creative Cloud Cleaner tool, checking some files in system32 (msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll) nothing helps, does anyone know how to fix this ??   After opening Adobe xD, after several minutes the application crashes (exit).   Do they know that they have a problem, I saw that I'm not the only one who has this problem? Is it not available globally yet?I cannot open a file someone sent me. It says I need to upgrade, but my latest version is 49.0.12.I am using a Mac, OS 12.3.1 on desktop All of my apps are set to auto-updateWhat I have tried:I uninstalled XD 49.0.12 and then re-installed it.I uninstalled it (49.0.12) and then installed the older version (48.0.12). I tried to upgrade from that, but it still shows that my latest version is 49.0.12. I tried restarting my computer after the install/update, but that didn't help either.Any other suggestions?  <Title renamed by moderator>

My goal is the create a 3 step procosess with the next step disabled until the previous step is completed.Step 01- dropdown menuStep 02- check boxStep 03- download button I have managed step 01 and step 02 but I am not sure how I can keep the button at a disabled state and enable it via a checkbox tap. Any examples or advice?

I am doing a project for school and part of the assignment is to record our high fidelity XD mockup with the built in recording feature. When I clich the record icon, it gives me no indication that the video has started. The icon does pulse on and off, aand when I click the button again to stop the recording it doesn't let me choose a file location to save the video. I am on a Macbook Pro 2019. I am not sure where to look for a soultion to this matter

Hi, I have a number of links I need to share with a client, out of 4 only 1 is loading, the others open but then just show the loading screen and won't progress to anything further, they work fine my end when previewing. I have gone through a number of posts on here, optimized all images that are used but still it wont load. Any ideas? 

Hello, I save local XD files in my google drive. The files open on my Mac OS but I'm encountering issues on Windows 11.   I keep getting the error code 47.  I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. It didn't help. The local XD files used to open fine, but I guess after the latest update..something happened.

Is there a method to selcect multiple checkboxes without them behacing as radio buttons? It is possible for a multi-selct instead of a single select? Example? Thanks.

Often, we need to create new components based on previous versions. When the original main component has numerous states, it's a time-consuming process to replicate all the states in the new version. (Because we need to ungroup every state of the main component and put it all back together in a new component with multiple states.) I propose we have a new option for cloning components where we can create copies of components without any connection to original. This would be a huge time-saver when working with more complex components with many states. thnx

Please have a look on the attached Gifs for my wireframes designed in XD, the first one ending with "Play mode" shows that the animation is very smooth, the lady is sliding in, the mobile is sliding up and so on,  those animations doesn't work properly on the shared link. I called the customer support and didn't help. he asked me to rename the file, use different options of sharing, presentation, user testing... and this didn't help. I tried many things, changing timing, auto animate different options... and every time the animation is not working like the atached sample. Hope you have a solution, I have done around 90 frames for my project and didn't expect that error to appear with the shared link 

I just received some .xd file which was supposed to be a whole responsive website template, but apparently the designer did a terrible work, which means - he didn't name any of the elements, he didn't define those elements as 'responsive', he did make no use components..and basically he just ripped some paid XD components from around the web and put them all together.And now, here i am, a PHP backend dev, for the first time, learning prototyping in Adobe XD and basically refactoring all of his work into a brand new project. Since it's my first introduction with such type of a project, I was wondering what is usually your workflow when it comes to responsive designs? Do you first build the desktop version and then simply duplicate it to both mobile and table resolutions and re-align the items? (after toggling on the 'responsive size' option of course).Should I make all my elements (menu, footer, container, sidebar etc. etc.) a components and keep them in a separate artboard for a r

Hi all,I am very new to Adobe products and my background with graphics is more Paint.NET.I want to understand how to create tables in XD.  Its something so common in layouts, yet somewhat frustating. Question - what is the easiest way to do tables.For my current incarnation I am using Stack feature.This is being created in the Pasteboard.The table-group grouping works well.  It is a vertical Stack.  This is the blue row. header-group is just a plain old grouping consisting of a group (col-a) and a rectangle (header).  This arrangement allows me to change colour of the header row independant of mucking up group colours. Group3 us meant to be a row with text in.  I cannot position row-1 for the text to appear like the header.  And this is causing me a headache.  It all looks the same as the header-group. Its frustrating when I change a text colour in a Text then change the group colour - wiping out my text colour.  So if I chang
