After Effects

The adobe after effect said that i have low memory when its not even trying to use my ram what the hell, when i hit play its just repeat and stuck, i tried all the tutorial, purge, locate more cache, everything but nothing changed

I'm experimenting with Automation Blocks to automate the building of comps for my teams workflow... Here's what I have figured out:I can automatically build a project bin "Output" with 4 comps at 4 different sizes (1920x1080, etc), then build a "PreComp" bin with the precomps we will need - Logo Intro comp, offer precomp, text precomp and rtb precomps...I have that down and working, utilizing the setup I screenshot. No problems at all there.Now what I'm struggling with is the following:I want to automate taking the comps in the PreComp bin and inserting. them into the output comps at particular times and even sizing/placements. "Logo Intro" would be placed at the 0 frame at say 100% scale, centered in the comp... "Offer Precomp" would be placed at the 2s mark, 50% scale. Then "Headline" precomp would be placed at the 6s mark, and so on. I'd imagine I can use "set attribute" to place precomps in a particular location etc., but I can't figure out how to start placing comps like

I parented the position of the puppet pin 'L1' to the null layer 'L1',and the pin 'L2' to the null layer 'L2'.The expression used is: thisComp.layer("L1").transform.positionThen, I parented both null layers 'L1' and 'L2' to the null layer 'L' to control them together(using the pick whip in the "Parent & Link" section to link the layers themselves, not just the position).However, the control doesn’t work.The null layer 'L' does not affect them as expected.

I cant export my projectAfter Effects Error: An attempt was made to render a frame with an unsupported frame size (\1 x \2). Can templates created with Essential Graphics be used in DaVinci in the same way as in Premier?

Hello! First time posting in this forum so apologies if I'm missing anything to provide a helpful discussion. I'm working on a balloon head made out of individual Xs which are all in individual layers. Since there's quite a few layers, I was hoping to somehow connect the position of each X to a null object in it's center that would converge/diverge to simulate the balloon popping. Additionally, the artwork is not symetrical, so I don't believe I would be able to use mirror effects to achieve what I'd like. My first thought was to create an expression with the position of each X related to the null object's scale, so that they would hopefully radiate out in different directions based on their starting position in relation to the null. I'm struggling to know where to begin in writing an expression for these properties. Potentially using the difference in scale to move the position by a certain factor, but I'm unsure how to make a universal expression to move the Xs omnidir

Guys, has anyone noticed this color change after updating to 25.2?For some reason, some assets I import into After Effects have their colors altered, and I don’t know how to fix it.I know the update included some changes to color management, but I didn’t touch any of my settings and I’m still running into this issue.I’ll send my color settings below — if anyone knows how to fix it, I’d really appreciate the help.This only happens in After Effects. When I use the same asset in Premiere Pro, the colors stay exactly how they should. The first one is from After Effects, and the second one is from Premiere Pro.  You can notice that the blacks have been lifted, and some transparent assets have had their colors changed. In some cases, noticeable borders appear where there were none before.  Here it is my color settings   

¡Hola! Estoy teniendo un problema con un archivo. Al principio se reproduce con normalidad en la línea de tiempo, pero a partir de la mitad deja de reproducirse y aparece un error. Intenté entrar directamente a las composiciones, pero la pantalla se pone negra y el video no se reproduce, aunque los archivos siguen estando en su lugar. probe guardandolo en otro lugar o con otro nombre pero el problema sigue.Todas las composiciones usan los mismos recursos: imágenes de Adobe Illustrator, archivos de audio y Animation Composer, así que no entiendo por qué ocurre esto. En la tercera captura se puede ver que solo falta un archivo, pero no estoy segura si eso es lo que está causando el problema. Agradecería mucho su ayuda con esto.

Hello,when I edit on my 16 inch laptop, I need more space than on a big screen,and I noticed that this "UI design", when only one unneded button (I can press TAB when I need it) takes too much empty space,could you please fix it, or place it inline with above or switch it off, or make a preference to hide it? 

Everytime I try to start AE, it boots, and then a message appears saying: "AE  Crashed occurred while invoking plug-in AEDyanmicLinkServer", and it shuts daown again. I've tried several clean installs, and nothing. I'm unablle to use Ae, and I'm starting to panic, because deadlines dont wait. Can anyone please help?  

I'm trying to upload a PSD to an After Effects project for an animated short film I'm working on. This file is for a background where it's a shot of the floor. It has a pair of layers with simple brush textures. (Layer 1: orange)(Layer 2: purple). When I view this in Photoshop, it has the intended effect where the purple and orange mix together in the texture to make red highlights. When I import this same file to After Effects, the orange and purple do not mix.I thought this must be an issue with the color profile, but I've been screwing with it for a while and nothing works. I'm importing the PSD through "Composition - retain layer sizes" and then "Editable Layer Styles" if that means anything.

I have confusion over Rasterizing. Rasterizing means process of converting a vector or smart object into pixels. Vector images are more clear than pixel image when zoomed in. But here after Rasterizing only images get more clear. Why is it called Raster?      

I have footage that was accidently recorded with "Focus Peaking" information baked into it that the client would like to see if it could be salvaged. I have included 3 stills that contain the issue and a 4th that is clean without the peaking information turned on.My question is it possible to fix the video using some of the newer AI features in After Effects or other CC software. Currently, I have let my Creative Cloud membership lapse since I'm busy in Avid world and would rather not pay to experiment if the job is impossible.    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've been using a Wacom tablet for 7+ years (first a bamboo, now an Intuos pen & touch) in place of a mouse for all my applications. Just in the past month, when I open After Effects, after about 3-5 minutes of use, I'm no longer able to move the cursor using the pen. If I click down, I am still able to click and drag, and in the Wacom diagnostic tool, everything looks perfectly fine. The problem is, the functionality stops across ALL applications and I can't get it back unless I fully restart the computer. This means once I open After Effects, i must switch to a mouse until I have a chance to fully restart my computer, and then I can't open After Effects without breaking my pen tablet's functionality.  Tried calling Wacom support and all they had me do was uninstall and reinstall my drivers several times. I tried moving my tablet to another computer (Brand new 2020 Imac, fresh install of the newest AE) and am still having the same issue. Is this a bug? Is my tablet broke

After effects error couldn't find main entry point for deflicker.x ( 48 72 )I do have two machines with the same after effect version and the same version of the plugin and still cannot work in one of them. I've tried to OpenCL.dll thing, the clean after effects open with alt+ctrl+shift, etc.I don't know how can i make this work by now... after effects 2024 don't worked eitherI'm really tired of this kind of errors in after, it's really anoying needing to find solutions for this kind of things, Jesus, i just want to get my job done

What circumstanceses you will loose your Keyboard Shortcut at? I have keyboard for "Close Project". But many times I lost it.   

My dissolve under Blend Mode is missing. It's also not in Effects panel, etc. 

So that a 3D layer beneath isn't affected by the camera and I can use a different camera for it?

Hello! Please, help me to undestand is After Effect suitable for my task or I should choose another Adobe product.  For ex., I've drawn a realistic portrait in PS and then I want to add animation like growing flowers around the face or drops flowing on skin, or something like that. As I undertand I need to l draw several pictures and then combine them. (If there is another way, please, let me know.) What App is better for it? 

When will Radeon Pro 460 be supported for GPU acceleration in After Effects?

Now i have my muppet head moving up and down I'd like to get his googly eyes reacting to the head motion and settling when the motion stops. The pupils inside the eye 'dome' should randomly bounce around while the character is talking and then come to a stop at the bottom when the character stops talking. it should look like gravity is in play. I dont know if this should be linked to the head movement or the dialogue. I've found expresssions for sine waves, pendulums and wiggle but they dont quite achieve the effect. Any ideas much appreciated!
