After Effects

It is doing something but not centering the anchor point. What should I do?

I use Ae 24.5.0 (Build 52) on Windows 11 and have noticed a while that if i for example place 10 comps in the Render Queue and select "Output To" for the first item it gets the correct name, iow the name of the Composition. This is expected.   But, for some reason the rest are named "_mov.mov", "_mov_1.mov", "_mov_2.mov", etc, etc. You can see it on the screen dump and you can also see the name of the Comps. If i hit Enter to start the render the files are indeed named "_mov.mov", "_mov_1.mov", "_mov_2.mov", etc, etc and thats useless.   I have noticed that sometimes it happens, and sometimes all comps gets their correct names in one go without a glitch.   Is this a known issue?      

Hi, I really need help, I don't understand why I have this bug.When I try to preview my work, my loading bar immediately resets and the preview is jerky (due to the fact that my bar loads a little but resets just afterwards).I manage to load and keep the load if I interact with the after effect interface (for example if I keep pressing on the timeline size change).Please help!I also got the error saying that ‘After Effects error: Cached Preview needs 2 or more frames to playback’I've emptied my cash, my preview is at 1/4 it shouldn't bug.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Maybe this is just status quo for AE, but I'm hoping someone has an idea. I recently went from a Lenovo P16s with just 32GB RAM, middling CPU (i7-1260P), and a horrible GPU (T550) - all the way to a Legion tower with an i7-13700KF, 64GB system RAM, speedy 1TB SSD, and an RTX 4080 with 16GB. So, you would think when I loaded up a 40 minute 1080p video, did a simple trim with some cuts and freeze frames (yea, I should have just used Premier, but I didn't) - you would think that I could export a little quicker than 50 mins!  I mean, even the old P16s could export a 40 min 1080p faster, I'm pretty sure. Nothing fancy for settings:Doing a two pass VBRI have multi-frame rendering enabledI have 52GB allocated to the Creative Suite apps47GB disk cache set on a SSD with 250GB free spaceMaximum render quality (but not 'render at maximum depth')I have the Mercury CUDA option onI see in the performance monitor that it's pegging the GPU about 85%, and about 2/3rds the GPU RAM -

Hi folks! When I'm rendering a Clip in H.265 (HEVC), I cannot open another project. AE always shows the issue "The document "myproject" could not be opened. Ce message n'est pas une Questions mais c'est pour aider toutes les personnes comme moi qui vont perdre un temps FOU (#30 min de recherche sur Youtube et dans les forums) à chercher où est la fonctionnalité raccorder les tracés sur leur After Effect. Alors Adobe a eu une idée incroyable comme d'habitude de changer l'appellation Raccordés les tracés par Réduire les tracés toujours au même endroit dans Contenu -> Ajouter -> Réduire les tracés. On est tous d'accord que la traduction ne veut rien dire et que j'appel pas ça mettre à jour leur appli mais nous cassez .... vous aurez compris la suite.

Is there anyway to use a selection of roto brush footage as a mask? What I want to have happen is a foot enters frame and steps on text, so the foot will mask out the current text as it steps down on it, and then as the foot step up and out of frame different text is revealed. I know I can create this using the pen tool and animating the keyframes from that, but is there a way to use a selection of footage from the roto brush? Thanks! 

Hi, I'm having the error listed in the subject: "Could not launch Adobe Analysis Server." when trying to warp stabilise footage.I open a new project, add a single piece of footage (Shot on phone, converted it ProRes with Media encoder), create new sequence from footage, add warp stabiliser - then i get the error. I'm running Adobe After Effects 22.6.0 (Build 64), on a 14 inch MacBook Pro 2021 (m1pro) with 32 GB of RAM, OS is Monterey version 12.5.1. I've got 350 GB free space on my harddisk and run my project from an SSD. I've got F-Secure SAFE virus scanner installed, but otherwise noteworthy programs.  Any input as to how this could be resolved is welcome.

Hello, I have an issue with the CC Bend It effect.I have an Illustration that I wanted to use the Bend It Effect on.A known issue with this effect is that it cuts the image once applied.The most common solutions are to either use the Grow Bounds effect above CC Bend It, or simply precompose the layer and then add the effect on top of the new composition. But for some reason both of those solutions don't work for me anymore.I've tried turning off the Continously Rasterize option, creating a new shape layer, turning it into a PNG and using that instead, using the Grow Bounds effects on top of the precomposed layer, and yet nothing works. I'd love to know if there's another solution to that issue.

HeyI was trying to use Roto brush to remove background from 3 seconds part of whole video but when I tried to double click on my 3 seconds clip nothing happened and new layer where I can use roto brush wasn't crated like it was in tutorials on YouTube. Double clicking on whole video (3 min) worked indeed. I know I can trim exact part from this whole raw video, but it will take a lot of time every time just to find part you need. so do you have any suggestions how I can remove background just from this 3 seconds part? I attached video for better understanding thank you

Hi guys, Basically I downloaded After Effects 2023 and I did "register" for the first time and it's been creating my account for three hours I don't know what to do anymore i don't know if it is like that because of the hardwore because my pc is Windows 10 pro (64 bit), yesterday i tried to download after effects and It said that i can't because of the I need to update my PC and then I uninstalled it, today I installed it and this thing didn't pop up and I could log in but As I said before the account is being created for too long and my connection is stable

Why is there a grey background/border in full screen playback? Why is there (still!) no option to change this to black? 

Hello!I'm trying to display french characters "é", "É" and "à" in a pseudo effect by editing the XML PresetEffects file, but After Effects doesn't seem to accept them and they get replaced by "?" when I import the pseudo effect in my composition.Replacing, for instance, "Durée" by "Durée" or "Durée" doesn't solve the issue.If it's possible to get these special characters in pseudo effects through the XML PresetEffects file and someone knows how to do it, I would really appreciate some help! AE Comp can't connect with MESystem:MacBook Pro 16 M1 Max 32GB RAMMac OS Sonoma 14.5 (23F79) Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue... won't do anything and makes ME crashes. (Had to force quit)PR works totally fine with ME.Rendering at AE works totally fine. Adding Comp from ME with File > Add After Effects Composition... works.Tried uninstall and reinstalling both AE and ME did not fix the problem. Any help will be superrr helpful!! Hi folks, we're experience a really strange issue with the Posterize Time effect, and at the worst possible moment for the project. The addition of Posterize Time over some nested Pre-comps causes the layers in those pre-comps to become out of sync or "time slip".  Quick summary of set up:We have a 23.976 pre-comp ("comp A"), dropped into a main composition ("comp B"), of the same dimensions and frame-rate. Inside comp A, we have several animated layers which are tracked over live-action footage. Some layers are manually key-framed, but in all instances the motion is synced and plays back as expected if we maintain the full-frame rate. When we add Posterize Time effect to comp A's layer directly, OR as an adjustment layer in comp B, so it effects all the comps below, such as comp A, it causes the content in comp A to shift out of sync. For instance it might shift our live action a few frames forward and the tracked / composited laters a couple frames earlier. O

In rotoscoping, I can still use the tool on the black image and see the result only when switching back to the selection tool.
