After Effects

Hello,I noticed that my after effect 24.5.0 crashed 3 times in front of my eyes. I have this error message: Even when I'm in no-fail mode, the application stops and asks me to switch to nominal mode. This is very annoying... I've also noticed that when I leave the general settings window, I get this message: Could someone please help me find the reason for these crashes?Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am a user of the last 2024 version of After Effects, However, I need the 2023 version to test files and compatibility between both. That said, I installed the 2023 version (23.0), but when I launch it, it barrages me with a list of all the standard plugins AE can't see/find.It is the first time in all years I faced something like this, the most important, everything missing by the pointed location is there (Screenshots are attached).List of things that were tried but didn't work:- Reinstalling AE- Trying different versions (23.0 / 23.1 / 23.2 same issue)- Clearing all residuals from Adobe > AE 2023 folder didn't work either   

Just installed AE 2025 on 2 computers and both cannot render to a network share. They can render to local drive. AE 2024 does not have this problem

adobe affter effect does not appear on the screen.I insert object,video and picture and nothing appears on the screen.I tried this way:- restart computer.- Try to delete the current one and load the older version,still did not fix the problem. - Updated GeForce Experience and removed it again and reinstalled geforce, still did not fix the problem. It shows that it's not related to the geforce.Who has ever encountered this problem and was able to solve it? please tell me I thank you very much

So for context, I've posted a similar discussion before this and my issue currently is that AE Comp preview doesnt work as it is intended to. It only works when im Putting the program in another window ( on a extended display screen ). This wasnt an issue previously as all my drivers are now fully updated, I've purged all the disk caches, have done the " Deactivate Hardware Acceleration" mode and purged my media and disk caches. I'm not sure if this is a AE issue or my laptop's. Again I've done everything, I even checked and reinstalled my Intel Gpu Driver, Windows Update and Nvidia Driver recently to see if it would resolve it but it didn't work at all.Issues:-AE doesnt work on main display as seen here ( My laptop display ) But works fine when I place on another display ( another monitor/screen )This issue is also seen through Premier Pro as well. This is an issue I'm having when trying to use After Effects on my brand-new laptop. I can't see anything in my composition (I know I don't have anything in it right now, but I should still see the black composition) and even when I try to view an image/video file, I cannot see anything.I've updated my drivers. I've tried switching the "Video Rendering & Effects" between CUDA, OpenCL, and Mercury Only. I've updated my Windows to the latest version. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and even tried an older After Effects version. I have no clue how to fix this.

When the application is opened, the screen does not turn on and it lags like this, then it closes, please help  

Aerender isn't able to see the default ACES configurations when rendering. I am not sure if this behavior is specific to AE 24.5, but I am fairly positive I have been able to render like this before.Windows 11, AE 24.5

After effects keeps crashing on me.  Attached are the screenshots.  It is saying that "knoll light factory" plugin is not supported.  I've deleted those files and I'm still getting this error.  Please help.  I've tried uninstalling, resetting preferences, and starting in safe mode.  Nothing is working. 

hi i can't see any layers in my ae program there is sound but the layers are not visible in any way please help, thanks in advance for your suggestions.**Format, cache file cleanup, layer visibility etc all tried.**I am using Adobe latest version and the application is up to date.

 I installed the After Effects in 25.0 English (International) version.However, I was very disappointed that Dropdown Menu Control, which has had the same problem for a long time, still has not been fixed for a bug that does not express non-English languages.I checked this bug from version 24.1 and reported it to my company's adobe account.However, After Effect is not fixing this issue until a new version comes out.This is creating a huge problem with distributing presets for team distribution, but Adobe doesn't seem to be interested in speakers from other non-English countries.

Hello there,I wanted to synchronize my old After Effects CS 6 to 2024 version (I'm using win 11). Unfortunately there seems to be an issue during instalation (Error code 127). I checked some YT videos with sollution, check almost each possible support forums but nothing worked 😞With help of my friend we noticed there is issue with Cinema 4D inside of the Synchornization file. We think installer is unable to unpack it so it blocks the whole instalation each time at 76%, but we are not 100% sure about that. Maybe some of you guys had a same problem?Please if someone know how to fix that I would be so thankful. After a month I'm out of ideas.Below I'm sending error code from Sync and Cinema 4D was the only file we couldnt copy from Sync file. I tried to install it as a separated application but adobe still wants to install it as a plug in.Is there a chance to get Synchronization file without Cinema 4D installer?

Instale el PlugIn de mister horse animation composer en mi AE v25 y me tira error y no me deja abrir el programa. Me pasa en otras versiones también. Ya probé desinstalando ambas cosas y no funciona. Sometimes, when working in after effects for a while, all of a sudden the import and save functions simply stop working. Auto-save would help, but not if you're working on something you haven't saved yet yourself. Extremely frustrating since I can't see any other way than quitting AE with no way of saving my work and having to start all over - which can be extremely upsetting. I know - save your work as you start it so that auto-save saves you.. this souldn't be on me though. You guys need to introduce the ability of saving a .aep file through media encoder or enable a secondary auto-save function that works with unsaved files. I don't even care about the bug that much - programs can malfunction... just give me some redundancy that allow me to not start from scratch.I would use bad words in this thread if I could.

Barteldes Small is from Adobe Fonts, it displays correctly in other Adobe programs but not in After Effects.  Here is what it is supposed to look like in Illustrator: Here is what it looks like in After Effects: It looks like only the capitatal letters are being effected. I hav tried removing and readding the font family back again, and I do not have any other fonts named Barteldes on my computer, also it is an Adobe font.  Not sure why this is happening. Thanks!

I've been experiencing crashes in Adobe After Effects for the last two months, happening every 2-3 minutes uses or even more frequently. I reached out to Adobe support several times, but they couldn't fix it. They uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ and updated my Nvidia driver, but the problem returned shortly after. I thought it might be a Windows issue, so I did a clean install of Windows 11, but the crashes still happen. I can't get any work done, and Adobe hasn't been able to resolve it. What should I do?My PC specs:- Laptop: Asus Scar 16 (2024 model)- Processor: Intel Core i9-14900HX 2.20 GHz- RAM: 32 GB- Graphics: Nvidia RTX 4080- Storage: 2 TB SSD

Hello Community... why are my Puppet Pin tool Animation take a new position while "the man is running".. As you can see in the video for example the leg in the backround is going in another position even when there is no puppet pin frame point. I may can not explain it well but please take a look at my uploaded video so you know what I mean.. I animated it yesterday and it worked well firstly. I tried also to pre compose da legs an arms but even in the composition the animation glitch is the same.  please help 

Hi, im working with large footage, as you can see the media has a scale of 4608 x 3164 but when i pre compose it it looks squaseh but still says that the dimensions are correct as in the media, even when i create the compositon directly from the footage it squases it, please help haha, why is this happening?, this is the third shot im workong on and it looks like from here on out this "error" is happening in almost all my pre-comps.

We have one file that is resisting all the regular troubleshooting steps to be able to be opened in After Effects.Details >- opens fine on Mac, crashes seem to be relegated to Windows computers (but not all windows computers)- newest version of Ae on all related computers- Windows are all running Win 11, Mac is running Sequia 15.0.1- file begins to load, then crashes after AE starts up- file dialog for saving a copy loads, but doesn't save new copyTroubleshooting we've tried > - opening in safe mode- clearing cache and opening- loading into fresh after effects project- saving new copy of file from computer it works on- saving a 23.x copy of file from computer it works on- closing Dropbox (what we use for file sharing and syncing) and opening file- reducing project from computer it works on and opening I'm attaching the logs from the last open, would super appreciate if anyone has any ideas of how to sort this out!

I'm experiencing a glitch in Adobe Media Encoder when attempting to export compositions as PNG sequences. The issue manifests when I select the PNG sequence option; the preview glitches, resembling a visual distortion where a portion of the frame appears shifted (for example, an 8px slice from the left side of a red square is incorrectly patched to the right side).  Troubleshooting Steps Taken:Cleared the Media Encoder cache.Verified that all software is up to date.Tried different codecs, but the issue is specific to PNG sequence exports.Attempted to render directly from After Effects, but this approach is not optimal due to the number of projects and compositions I need to process (12 projects, each with 15 compositions).Checked and adjusted composition settings, but this did not resolve the problem.Restarted both applications and ensured my PC has sufficient resources.Tried exporting to different output paths and formats, but the glitch persists only with PNG sequences.

I am subscribed to Adobe After Effects. But Adobe After Effects is down, the video does not appear, the image preview only appears in the project box, the computer specifications are Windows 11, 16 GB graphics card, please solve my problem. Hello,I mad a few picture-in-picture template in after effects for my colleagues using premiere, so that they can't mess up size and positioning.My content placehoder are compositions: a 16:9 (1920x1080), 9:16 (1080x1920) and a 1:1 (1920x1920).I was about to instruct my colleagues by saying that probably is better if they edit and put toghether the content for the window in their main sequence so they can sync it with the video behind it (normally an interview) and the nest everything and drag the nested sequence over the content place holder in the essential graphics panel. The problem I noticed is that while if you just drag an image or video, that single file is fitted inside the composition that continues to be in the right dimension and proportion, if you drag a composition the composition made in premiere completely substitute the place holder comp from After Effects and so proportion and dimensions change.The easiest solution would be to remember my colleagues to always cre
