Whenever I generate a spritesheet in Adobe Animate the sprites come with a white outline, could someone please explain what I should do to fix this 

I inherited a movie project that uses all movie clips. From recent help I've received here, I started the task of converting all mcs to graphic symbols. I'm running into an issue with some sound effects.  Right now, there's a graphic symbol (used to be mc) of a clapboard. On the main timeline, it has a motion tween from left to right to get it center stage. That takes 12 frames (ends at frame 127) and is fine. The gs itself is 135 frames long - lots of stuff going on including 2 sound effects, a "clap" at frame 45 and a "ding" at frame 70. When I scrub the gs itself, everything works fine. However, the sounds don't play either when scrubbing or after publishing the movie as a swf. I tried making sure my main timeline extends out far enough for the whole gs to play but that didn't change anything. Hi, I'm fairly new to Adobe Animate and I'm trying to use it for the lip syncing feature. I've managed to create funcional lip syncs before but now I'm having two issues.The first issue is related to the lip sync tool. I can't seem to be able to generate a lipsync that last until the end of the sound file. My work around is to divide it into two and then merge them on after effects, which is where I'm going to use it later anyway. I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong because it's annoying and it's a waste of time. Example: sound file is 120 sec and the lipsync cuts at 77 sec. The second one is new. It seems like the most updated version of the software doesn't allow me to import any sound files (or at least the ones I've tried). It gives me an error that says "One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them". I've tried troubleshooting it, rendering different versions of the same sound with different bit rates and rate samples. Even tried us

Hello,until now I have avoided using a container inside An but now I need to programmatically solve the creation of a complex object that is made up of a circle and different images. For the sake of simplicity, I also inserted images into the Library and gave them appropriate names in Linkage. When the image is square in shape and dimensions like a circle, then the image is usually placed properly, however, sometimes the image dimensions are narrower or wider than the circle and trying to influence its size inside the container does not lead to the desired effect, usually the image moves to the top , left corner (0.0 circles). Is there any trick because I failed to find an idea? Hello,since a while I am using Adobe Animate for 2D Animation (Frame-By-Frame). I have been using a drawing tablet so far. But since the sizes of the screens I have to work with change a lot , the transition from tablet to screens is different as well and it costs me time and energy to get used to it. So I decided to buy an iPad so that I dont have that problem anymore. The question is now how I can combine the iPad and Animate. There is so far no App for the iPad, right? Otherwise, can I move the drawing panel to my iPad, if I am using the program on my MacBook? Or is there another way to expand the program to my iPad so that I can draw at least there?I hope you guys can help me!Susi

Hi,My PC (Windows 10) sort of crashed (rebooted instead of just going out of sleep mode, probably due to a system update).Just before the crash, I had an XFL file open in Animate (19.2.1)  – file saved, but still open.Now the file doesn't open properly, and multiple warnings pop out:"Impossible de charger la séquence en mémoire. Votre document est peut-être endommagé."(unable to load sequence into memory, your document might be damaged)"Impossible de charge l'élément de bibliothèque xxx. Supprimez et recréez (ou réimportez) cet élément."(unable to load library item xxx, delete and re-create or re-import this item)  I can find a RECOVERY set of files, but it's also corrupted. Some of the items missing from the library can be found in the LIBRARY folder, in the form of xml files. But they don't include any xml code, just a series of "null" characters, so I assume they are totally corrupted, and not recoverable, right?

Hi allFor the life of me i can't get the stupid mp4 to import, its driving me insane! I'm new to Animate, but have used After effects and most of the other programs exensively... but for some reason i can't get past this simple hurdle 😞 I've exported straight from after effects, converted to every type of h.264 type i could see in media encoder, EVEN used the option in Animate where it 'converts' the file to a usable type when importing, and it STILL just keeps telling me it doesnt work and to give it a bloody H.264 format! I can only assume this is an insanley simple solution since i can't find any answers on it already, any help would be extremly apprectedCheersRob  

Hi, let me first start by saying that I have searched for answers before posting. I am sure this topic has come up, but I can not find an answer. Used abobe flash 20 years ago, this week I got started again with Animate cc. I have an HTML5 document and I am struggeling to figure out how to debug it? If I read right on someone asking the question, the reason the debug is greyed out in the menu and can't open external debugging is because I have an HTML5 document? If so, how do I debug my script? I have some programming expereince, but not AS. Thanks!

Hi.. i finish an animation at 1000 x 1000 and then publish to mp4. i have tried to encode it at H264 but it comes out wide (black sides) and small when it saves. I have also saved it as a giff but it isnt smooth when it plays. Thanks  

I have query.I am using HTML Canvas Animate for e-learning slides preparation. I want to add background voiceover and give a clickable options or 'click to read script' button during the voiceover. But when i click on the 'Click to Read Script' button the voice over stops as i have give command to move from this frame to this frame.there is no mouseover option available when pointer goes over the button and scripts pops ups. i need help that how can we make a slide where voice over or music is playing in the background and still i am able to make clickable buttons during the voice over and it does not stops. 

I'm a beginner with Animate, and so far I've not been able to, or able to figure out how to set a specific length to a document. By default, the timeline ends at 27 seconds, but if I add frames, the timeline lengthens. Is this the only way to add to the timeline, i.e., the length of the document? You'd think Animate would ask how long an animation you want to make when creating a new document, assuming you know from the start. If you can not set a specific length for a project, then I'd really like to know why. I'd also like to know if you can jump to exact timecodes, instead of skipping around manually, or send elements in a layer to another place in the timeline using timecodes. If not, then Animate would benefit greatly from these features, and so would I.

I am using the custom cursor code in Adobe Animate HTML 5 project. I got the custom cursor to work except that it does not remove the arrow. The arrow cursor sits on top of my custom cursor even though I have this line of code:stage.canvas.style.cursor = "none";

Hello,In Animate HTML5, I want to associate a createjs.Tween to a clip according to its Y ordinate. The ordinate will be random. For this, I have created 2 arrays. The first table allows to sort the Y ordinates of the clips. I've posted about this problem before and got the answer "your computer can't handle the program". Well now I've tried to animate at my university and these computers are made for graphics design and animation... and the animation is still lagging. Layers from my animated gif disappears one by one once exported. In Adobe Animation it doesn't disappear but the playback is very slow. Don't know how to fix this.. I attached the exported gif below.

When creating anything for the web using adobe, the next step is always "send the files to your developer". Where can I get information on how to use the files myself?I can't get an adobe animate html5 published file to work with my BigCommerce site. Any advice?Let me know if you need more info 🙂

Hello,  I am rigging a character in Animate that I drawn in Illustrator. I seperated differents part of the character, and for the head I seperated the eyes , the mouth and the head in differents layers. When I rigged the head, the form of the head then got over the eyes the mouth and the hair, and even if I press control shift down, it doesnt work. It works for all the other forms of the character, but not the head. I don't know what to do.. 😞 (Thank you and sorry for the english mistakes)

Hi, I'm having trouble with Actionscript 3.0. I searched a lot of spin wheel tutorial but mostly spin using motion tween or auto spin and get random results. I would like to know the code for control the wheel manually. Like when we click the wheel n can move it follow your hand movement. I attach some example of template from a website.   

It does not matter what I'm trying to import, Flash keeps on crashing. It doesn't matter if I drag and drop or use Command R (MAC) or select import from the drop down menu, a progress bar appears and then Flash crashes. I've searched and have yet to find a solution.

The new update of Animate does not seem to allow you to animate. It will not allow to to create different frames with different object sizes. I seems to repeat the previous frame information therefore making it impossible to animate anything.
