What steps are involved to change a man's voice to a female's?Can you do them in audition?I believe merely changing the pitch or EQ is not enough. I want to make short videos with female voice over but I prefer to do the voice over myself for more control, and then change it to a female voice. I want the female voice to sound real.
I'm working on a large dialogue project with 14,000 individual voice prompts. I'm marking each prompt as a marker region and then exporting. When I open a file and I stopped on lets say 450, pressing M creates a marker labeled 1. So I have to press M 450 times if I want my next region to be 451. Soon I'll be working on a file that starts at number 1,000. Is there really no way to ask the markers to start at 1,000? Pressing the M key 1,000 times seems crazy. And even more crazy when i start to get up to the higher thousands. I could always just ignore the numbers, but that's a great way to get lost since the numbers won't match up. This seems like it should be simple, but I can't find an answer.
I'd like to ask if there's any solution to removing great fMRI noise, just to hear a clearer bisyllabic words.I am new to Adobe Audition, and I have tried methods like Paintbrush selection and Learn Sound Model, but to no avail...See if there's any Audio Masters who can solve this issue!I'm attaching my audio sound file below. Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone, I'm new to Adobe Audition.I currently got seven multitrack sessions of different audio recordings I've already cut, edited and categorized. Now I wanted to put some snippets of them in another multitrack together. Turns out (since I got the recordings from different people) some of them are 48 kHz and others are 44.1 kHz. So when I try to copy and paste a clip in the new multitrack session with another sample rate, I get the error message “the sample rate of one or more clips does not match the sample rate of the session. These clips will not be inserted." So my question is, how can i put clips with different sample rates together in a multitrack session?I know I should have fixed this before editing, but is there a way to convert them without doing the editing-work all over again? Thank you for your helpTamara(Btw please excuse language mistakes, english is not my native language)
Mac OS 10.15.7Audition 2022Problem has only recently started ... after opening a session (any session) I get trhe rainbow wheel of death and it doesn't go away. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and deteting cache files. Any thoughts?
I have tried and tried but voice is still coming through as musical notes rather than clear speech. First four minutes and 20 seconds of this very long file is attached. If anyone could tell me a process Or chain of processes to clean the entire file it would be extremely helpful. Please help!
I want to make a recording in Audition via Session Link. Record and everything works, the only problem is that the speaker is delayed hearing himself unless I mute the track I record with, but then I don't hear the person anymore. Is there a function how I can mute the track but still hear them?
"The list of audio devices connected to the operating system has been changed..."This message will randomly appear while recording, however, it will also appear when Audition is just sitting idle in the background of my laptop. Not only will it interrupt my recording sessions, but it will also stop all audio on my laptop when this message appears. PLEASE HELP ME!I am using audition for work and I can't have the program randomly drop out every couple of minutes. If anyone has had a similar problem or has any idea why this keeps happening please let me know,
I'm using Adobe Audition for the analysis of bottlenose dolphins' vocalizations. I should look for the vocalizations on the spectrogram view, select them and save the selection, but it seems like it is not possible to save the selection. To give an example of what I want to do, here you have a capture of my work on Raven:In the box below the spectrogram, you can see a table with all the selection I made on the spectrogram and the same frequency values. Is it possible to do something like this on Audition?
I have a problem with Adobe Audition when doing noise reduction and capture noiseThe program completely mutes the sound when activating the effectThis problem only occurs with my laptop asus zenbook duo win 11please i need your help
Cancellation was set to start on Sep 8. According to the e-mail I recieved and the fact that I can't access the app tells me, yup, it's sure been cancelled. What hasn't been cancelled is my monthy payment for a service I no longer have by choice. It would be very nice to be able to have an actual human in some form to contact (e-mail, online chat, whatever) linked to your site. It'd be nice to be able to find a way to talk to you about this, but your website does not offer one. Convenient, no?I don't even know if this is the right place to post something like this...I'm just desperately trying everything.
Hi, i recently installed audition new versión, when i recorded and play to listen, the voice not match with time beat and if i move the voice to match with beat, sound out of time. Somebody have the same problem or can help me?
I downloaded The old toneboosters, magical 8 bit player and the nes 8 bit player when i load Audition and scan for any plugins they don't come up does anyone have a solution
I just got a notice from my ISP that I am nearing my monthly data limit which I have never done before. I looked at the days that I have high usage (over 100 GB) were all days that I was recording and editing my podcast. These are all under 20 minutes and the final file is around 400k. Does audition use the cloud and this usage is caused by that?
I'm trying to edit some audio but i've tried every solution to get rid of the popping sounds (p's and t's) and i was able to get rid of some but not all.. if someone could help me that would be appreciated. attached is the audio that im trying to fix.
So!...I have Audition (I think it's CS6) on a desktop Mac. I always use an external HD to save all of my sessions. Today I downloaded Audition CC2019 from the Adobe Cloud onto my Macbook Air, and plugged in my HD to start editing. (I'm editing a session that I started on the desktop Mac at home). It opens the session with no problems. It works and I can make cuts and edit fine. BUT!.. When I try to save the session I get a message that says "one or more media files used by this Multitrack session are located outside of the session folder. Would you like to copy these media files to the session folder?" It makes no difference whether I say yes or no because when I quit Audition, I get this message: "Save changes to [session name] before closing?" so I say yes and then I get the first message again! If I say yes, I get "Audition encountered an error trying to perform the operation" and if I say no, it will close down without saving anything and, when I open it again, I have no saved edit
Right now, if I'm in a multitrack session and want to lessen the volume of a selected track I use the shortcut "Silence Time Selection in Selected Clips" and manually adjust the new keyframes to set the volume line to the level I want. Is there a way to adjust this so it only drops -10db instead of completely silencing, or to create a new shortcut that can do this? There doesn't look to be another shortcut like this and I'm not able to create a favorite as it only affects the multitrack timelines. It comes up enough that it would really save some time. Any advice for this issue?
Am I missing something? Is there a way, after adding effects and keyframes in Audition, to bring my tracks back into Premiere with the keyframes and effect settings imported into Premiere, and continue the edit there?
Can I adjust the microphone input value with the fader port in real time while recording? Is it possible to adjust the volume by setting microphone 1 and microphone 2 separately when recording?
I recently used Adobe Audtion to create a short audio track for a film I'm working on, it was supposed to be handed in tomorrow so I wanted to do some last check ups, but now I get a message saying 'Could not find the specified plug in to open this file'. Can anyone help me out, this is mistakenly my only copy of the audio!
Hello people As the title says: I've got a Roland Cakewalk UA25-EX soundcard that has ASIO drivers, but when i choose ASIO in Audition it shows the card as "not working". Using Windows 10 latest version. I'd appreciate any clues as to what could be wrong. Thanks in advance for any help. RegardsD.
Hello, I'm currently working on editing an interview between a guest and a host. I have the files on two separate tracks because one guest's mic was picking up echo and was really bad, so I couldn't just use the synced session file (ugh.) ANYWAYS, I was working on cutting some tape down, and went into Waveform to cut it because I find it way easier to cut audio in Waveform than Multitrack. BUT when I came out of cutting, the Multitrack was now entirely out of sync—huge portions had gone missing in the guest track, and they had all become out of time within the host track. I tried to restore to a backup, but even older backups are now completely lost because they're still trying to pull their files from the now edited waveform. Is there any way I can undo what I've done so I can get everything back in line? I really don't want to go through and chop it all up again!
Experienced with audition, but haven't used it to record for a long time.I just got an AKG P420, which is plugged into a Mackie 2x2 audio interface. I'm using the ASIO drivers and I've tried enabling forced settings. I've made sure all the levels are 100% in the settings panel for the interface, as well as windows device settings. When I record audio the track has no treble. This is visible in the waveform - bass and low-mid frequencies seem unaffected.Aside from the USB cable connected to the PC, the audio interface has both a headphone jack output and a line output. I've monitored both of these whilst recording and the signal comes through perfectly clear from both outputs - so either the PC/Audition is interfering, or there is something broken in the audio interface itself, after the signal is processed but before it is sent back through the USB cable.I haven't been able to find any similar issue in the forums, to know if there is any Audition setting which commonly affects this
A few years ago I bought a third party plug-in, I can't find the plug-in in any of my emails, and I couldn't do the data transfer from the old computer to the new one. Is there a way to locate the file inside the Audition folder so I can copy it and paste it on the new computer?
