Hello! My interface keeps lagging hen I hit play, even though the audio plays normal. I have 32gb of ram, a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz and 2tb of ssd space, so this isn't because of memory or processing power.The video below shows whats happenng. Hello all,  I've been searching everywhere for an answer to this. I've tried customer service even as far as having a screen share.I can't hear out of my headphones while recording. The Mic is picking up the sound and I can hear playback thru the headphones after I've recorded. I have a Macbook air 2020 and am using a Apogee USB mic. It's very confusing because I'm not new to recording... but am unable to find a solution. I need to be able to hear what I'm doing as I'm doing it (Voiceovers). 

Audition 14.4 is available for download from the Creative Cloud desktop application. This update includes multiple bug fixes & performance improvements.   What's fixed? Incorrect sample rate was displayed in the audio hardware preference for MME (Windows) if system default input and output are used and the input and output sample rates differ. If file is cut into two or more clips, Strip Silence doesn't analyze, strip, or split beyond the first clip. Audition could crash while opening video file when both Preview Editor and Spectral Pitch are open. Audition could crash when making a selection in the Waveform editor when Preview Editor and Spectral Frequency are open. Loudness Radar is listed as a track and clip effect in Mac ARM native Audition. I am running the latest version of Audition and suddenly I cannot record or playback any new multitrack sessions. Waveform mode plays and records fine but I cannot get the multitrack function to work at all.

I've made 4 calls in 40 minutes to tech support. Zero help.No one workign there knows how to import a preset file.I'm trying to transfer presets from old Mac to new.They tell me they have to look it up and read how to do it, but then tell me they have to " escalate the call" and tell me I'll get a call back " between 24 and 48 hours". The overseas audio was horrible, with an echo on top of that bad quality.  This is the worst tech support I've ever seen. I can't find the solution in google. 

I have recently installed Adobe Audition but have never used it. I need someone to explain how to batch process multiple files with the following set of actions:1) Import all the files from a specified directory (including subdirectories).2) Align the tracks end to end one below another.3) Import a specified file with a background melody. 4) Duplicate the track with the melody as many times as needed until its length is no shorter than the total length of all the tracks above it. 5) Trim the track to match the total length of all the tracks above it. 6) Mix the melody with each of the tracks above. 7) Export all of the tracks into .mp3 files in a specified folder. The files with the exported tracks should have the same names as the original files.

Hello! I'm using Audition on a Windows laptop, and I've run into kind of a sticky situation I haven't been able to find an immediate answer to online that also aligns with my lack of Admin privileges to easily download and install new apps (I'm using a work computer with Admin restrictions). Here's what's up: On Windows 10, my Zoom In/Out is tied to the Alt key (Vertical/Amplitude zoom in the Multitrack Editor, Horizontal/Time in the wave form editor). I'll often zoom in and out (or enlarge/decrease wave form size) while editing, but whenever I press the Alt key, it accesses the Menu at the top of the screen, so when I press spacebar again to stop playback, the result is the Menu being selected, rather than stopping playback. (see below link to the below screen recording I put on YouTube)  I do the zooming by pressing Alt and scrolling my mouse wheel. I hence thought an easy solution would be changing the Zoom's hotkey from Alt to something else, e.g. Shift; ho

I know that this issue has been addressed in the past, and it's sounded like there haven't been any solutions. But in case anyone has stumbled upon something that works, please let me know ... I installed my Audition 2.0 on a new computer  yesterday. Of course, I've run into the same old issue of both the internet and phone activation processes being no longer available. I went around in circles with Adobe chat people this morning ... so, unless I can find a solution (or am willing to pay money for creative cloud services) I guess I won't be using Audition on my new computer any time soon.Thanks in advance for any/all assistance!

I purchased a license for Audition CS5.5 years ago.  Haven't used the program in a long time.  Tried to run it today and get an error message that it's not properly licensed and I have to buy another license.  Anyone familiar with this issue?

I need an activation code for Adobe Audition 3. I'm using Windows 10.

Alle Versionen nach Audition 13.0.13 haben das Problem, dass nach Bearbeitung von Mp3-Dateien alle ID3-Tags verloren gehen. Ich kann also nur die 13.0.13 verwenden. Eine Einstellungsmöglichkeit habe ich nicht gefunden.

I suspect there is an easy fix for this, I just don't know it. Up until a few minutes ago I would highlight a selction, hit the space bar and it would play that selection and stop (side note: is there a way to repeat that section as it would only play it back once?) But now, suddenly I highlight a section, press the space bar, and it starts at the beginning of the selection but doesn't stop at the end, it just keeps going. I feel like I accidentally turned that off and don't know how to reset it? I can use CTRL-L and it rapidly replays it over and over, but that's all I have found so far.

I recorded the soundtrack to my video on Adobe Audition. I then did a very pleasing noise reduction on the large file. Since I am using a Mac it seemed sensible to save the file as the one that gave me Mac friendly options which resulted in a .caf file. It never occurred to me that a format I'd saved in Audition would not be available in Premiere Pro. So, to fix the problem, I reopened the .caf file in Audition and tried to 'Save As' to change the format. However 'Save As' was greyed out. My attempt to export the file met with a similar shake of Adobe's head. So what now? Surely that quick decision to go for a Mac friendly file format hasn't left me with no options to use my file?

Hey all,I usually stream using discord with friends. The setup I have is kinda weird, but it was working until I got to discord. I'll try to walk you through what I'm doing, but I don't know what it is that is causing trouble.So I have Adobe Audition on a multi-track. I set the input as my microphone and my output as a virtual audio cable. I then applied a few filters in AA in order to clean up the audio in real-time. I pressed the arm to record (R) to activate the mic and then monitor record (I). This allows the virtual cable to take the output audio and supposedly feed it into other programs. I use OBS for screen capturing and it works well. I've tested the audio and AA is playing nicely with OBS. I can even upload a clip of the audio working properly if this site will allow me to. Here's a screenshot as it seems I can't upload an actual video. Now I thought since there was success here, I would be able to go over to the discord app and set it's input and output in a similar fashion.

If you look at the screenshots you can see that Adobe Audition is not recognizing all the downloaded text-to-speech voices I have. Same when I test in IOS. The siri text to speeches don't show up.

Hallo zusammen, ich habe seit kurzer Zeit extreme Probleme mit der Bearbeitung von Dateien in Adobe Audition. Ohne jegliche Änderung in den Einstellungen stockt die Wiedergabe permanent, ich kann nicht durch die Aufnahme scrollen und das Programm bleibt ständig hängen. Ich habe mittlerweile zwei verschiedene Computer ausprobiert, auf beiden lief das Programm zuvor einwandfrei. Ich hoffe jemand hatte das gleiche Problem und hat eine Lösung dafür gefunden, ich zähle auf euch, Google hat mir nicht wirklich weitergeholfen... Viele Grüße

 

Hi! I tried many times to record with Adobe Audition. But it does`t start. I don`t know what can I do. There is someone who can help me, please! 

I was succesfully running Adobe Audition in Windows 7 thru a Fire Pod to record. All was well until I finally had to upgrade to Windows 10. It wouldn't run Audition, so I purchased an upgraded version of the fire pod - Studio 1824c. They are not playing together well at all!I can start a new session & arm the channels I want to record on. However, all chanels pick up all the inputs without seperation, even if I arm all 8 chanels with only 3 of them containing a signal from a vocal or an instrument. How can I fix this?

noticed about 2 weeks ago, after my computer did some automatic updating(not sure what exactly updated). during playback, and while recording..i get choppy/glitchy, crackling and popping sounds. its not a constant thing..but rather every few seconds. however...while recording, these do not show up in the recorded audio. This also does not happen if im playing songs from the desktop or any other device...only when using audition.Using a presonus studiolive 24.4 mixer...and a bunch of other outboard gear. ive checked the firmware, and drivers for the mixer. both are up to date. ive disabled all windows sounds/enhancements as well. audio drivers for the pc are also up to date. in the settings for audion, my sample rate, buffer ect are all fine...same settings as i normally use.what else might this be? as stated...its only doing this with audio being played through a daw

Hey I'm a beginner in using audition I want to learn how to use it to make beats and songs but I can't anywhere where to learn to simply navigate the program.

I need to remix but enable remix doesn't seem to allow you to do so below 10seconds?

In my preferences for multitrack clips - auto crossfade is checked. I've tried toggling it on and off, and restarting my computer, but for whatever reason now as I drag clips they simply lay ontop of other clips. No more automatically cross fading. Any thoughts?

When I try to open Audition I receive this error message. I have deleted the application and innstalled it again but this error is all I get when trying to open it by double clicking the desktop icon. When I try to open it trough the CC desktop application by clicking Open I get no response at all. It doesn't open there either and no message is generated.I'm on W10. My CC plan is Enterprise. I have no problems in opening any other Adobe applications.
