Hi!. My question is; when I record a piano tape (with an external microphone) you can hear pretty laud the knocks when I hit a piano tile and the sounds of the piano is kept in the background. I want to know if those hits can be edited in audition so they can be less heard. Thanks and sorry for my bad english!.
Need to know what file extension is accepted for VSTs in Audition 1.5have tried dll, sfo etc but none appear, have them in the VST folder
Hi, I was wondering if you can help me with a query. I'm using Adobe Audition to create multi track DJ mixes. In my project I have -One mono track for the micTwo stereo tracks - one stereo track for the music & one stereo track for the sound effects. The music & the sound effect files are in stereo imaging. When I export my multi track session in stereo, it bounces all the tracks (mic, music & sound effects) in to one stereo track. However, I'm finding that although the bounced file is saved as stereo, the stereo imaging of the music & sound effect is gone. And when listening back to the exported session wav file, it is more like listening to a mono file with a left and right channel. Is it possible to export a multi track mix session and still maintain the stereo imaging of the individual original music & sound effect files? Thanks
I just want to make a simple open, apply favorite, save and exit script. I'm running from the command line as it's the best intergration with my python editing program that I can find. I've seen whats been posted in regard to .jsx script to do this, however the script gets hung on the 'apply favorite' part and just crashes while saving and closing. The documentation online for Exendscript with audition is sparse to non-existant which lead me to contact support.Adobe support said that support for extendscript is supplied on the Adobe forums, so I'm back this time asking the question. Is there any documentation or someone that understands this topic?
Is it best practice in audio mixing for all tracks to be either mono or stereo, rather than a mix of both?
I'm recording lots of book chapters, and my edits work for everything except mouse clicks. I can't find a quick way to Find/Replace that specific sound. They are seperate, not mixed with any audio, but are audible when using phones; they're not professional. Yes, I could listen, select, delete every single one but I have hours and hours of audio. I was hoping for a way to identify, then Find/Replace them. I've tried Diagnostics/Declicker but can't get good results.Ideas?? Thanks.
Hello, How exactly does the stereo expander tool widen/narrow the stereo image of a music sample? My understanding is that the tool is VST-based, but unsure what exactly the tool is doing to alter the stereo image (phase shifting maybe, based off of viewing the Phase Analysis Visualizer during manipulations?)Thank you
Hello fellow people of the internet, I am currently working on a project in which there is narration. Unfourchently I messed up some of the information in the narration so I rerecorded that section but now I can not get the two clips to sound like they where recorded at the same time. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to get these two clips to sound the same. Thanks,Ethan
Hi all, I've tried in vain to set up a new microphone, routing it through a MOTU M2 interface. No luck in Audition (or Audacity), though it works fine on Zoom and GarageBand. I'm using Mac OS 10.15.4 I have selected M2 as the input, both on Audio Hardware and Audio Channel Mapping in Preferences. Screenshots of my settings attached. Any thoughts?
Hi, how are you?First, please understand that I am not good at English. My PC environment is using i5-4670/16G/GTX160 6G/Win10.Audio interface is using Yamaha AG06.The condenser microphone is fitted with an AKG P220 .Audition version is CC 2018 Eng. The current microphone input is good condition on the win10.But I didn't get input at the audition, so I installed Cubase AI 9.5 just in case. You get a good input there. Therefore, I can't get input only at auditions.Even though the ASIO driver is installed and set up, input is only available in the Cubase and Windows. Yamaha Service Center also responded that it seems like a program problem. What settings should I touch for the audition? In addition, I update my settings of audition program.
[Mod note - one thread per topic is enough]
Hello, So, the problem is: I record my voices in Adobe Premiere Pro, I export the voices with : File>Project Manager>Consolidate and Transcode>Individual Clips , I choose this because I have so much voices and I want to export as individual clips in a transcode folder, after add the audio clips in Adobe Animate but with this export type in premiere pro, the sound doesn't sound really good because the format doesn't match. Next thing I record my voices in Adobe Audition. I export from Audition to Animate and works, the voice doesn't have noise anymore and sounds good, but, my REALLY IMPORTANT QUESTION is now: I can't export from Adobe Audition as individual clips? Like in Adobe Premiere Pro with Proj. Manager and Transcode? I search in Adobe Audition and all I found is just Export as individual tracks but not as individual clips...is a solution for this? Thank you so much.
Hi, I am new in using Audition. Can you help me with this?Automatic speech syncing is not what I actually need as of the moment since I'll be needing to sync audio clips for a podcast. I am looking for a way same with how I sync audios in premiere. Thanks guys.
Hello. I am recording using a cheap USB mic (Snowball Ice). If I use OBS Studio or anything other than Audition to record, the latent noise/hiss is minimal. However, if I record using Audition, the background hiss/noise is overwhelming, as loud as rushing water. If I switch to my Jabra Mic within Audition, there is hardly any hiss at all.. UPDATE:I restarted and went back and tried again. Firstly, in Audacity there is no hiss. I then thought perhaps of recording in a single audio track, rather than the default multichannel podcast setup. That fixed it too - in single audio recording there is no hiss. So to clarify - the only time the hiss returns is in the multichannel recording within Audition. Weird.. I know I can reduce it post-edit, but I really think something must be wrong. Can anyone suggest settings I might have incorrect? I've exhausted Google and YouTube 🙂 Thanks.Liam
Hello! I'm a Rodecaster Pro user with Audition, and having some trouble in my multitrack sessions. I'm a podcaster, and I like to be able to use the faders and mute buttons in real-time, while I'm recording with the Rodecaster. When I record into a plain audio file, this works perfectly. But in a multitrack, none of my inputs mute or change volume on the tracks, even when I adjusting my faders or hit mute on the mixer. While I can fix this in post, being able to fade and mute in real-time would make me much happier! Any help is much appreciated.
Hello everybody. I need to give a friend one of my favorites to voice the video, but I don’t know where to look for it. Tell me where the file with the favorites lies. Thanks in advance.
I was wondering if anybody knew which audio formats are compatible for both my phone and computer, when listening to the playback. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, and an HP Spectre laptop; the audio format I thought I was using correctly is .mp3, but the audio will not playback on my phone after sending it to my phone directly. I thought it could be that the audio bit size is not compatible or the file is too large, which is probably not it but I'm unsure what the case is. What do you guys think?
I would like to do a better job with audio editing of my podcast. I've picked up tips about using Adobe Audition from YouTube. Some of the advice about settings seems to conflict. I'm an engineer but not THAT kind. LOL.Do you mind taking a listen to my sample and giving pointers, especially about removing the tunnel sound? Thanks.
Hello, I recorded a instrumental session with 4 tracks in multitrack. My issue is when I export the mixdown, the gain or volume that I set in the multitrack session do not get exported. It sounds as if I made no modifications to the mix and therefor my lead guitar is totally quiet and I can't lower the basses nor second guitar. I've tried different export formats but that didn't work. I looked at some posts on Adobe's Support Community but there does'nt seem to be any resolution. The levels that I have set up in the mix are never included in the exported audio file. Please help. Thanks,Gregory
Hello Community Members,I have been recording audio in Adobe Audition for a few months now. I last recorded audio in this setup a few days back ( May 13), and the noise level was really low. You can hear the recording in clean.wav.However, today (May 16) when I tried recording the audio for another tutorial (noisy.wav), the noise seems to be too high. These are raw audio files, no effects. It is the same windows PC, same microphone, same low-noise room. The mic is a condenser mic with a USB connection. The Audition version is 13.0.5 for both recordings. The only few noticeable things that have happened in between these 3 days is that I had unplugged the USB from mic after the last recording, I replugged today. Also, I see 2 Microsoft windows updates in my system in this period. I am not a person who understands much about the Audition tool, so I am not sure where to investigate further. Anyone who knows what is going wrong or where should I look next?
My audition have a green screen when I load the video.
How do i make the doppler effect go counter clockwise? thx all!
All of the imported files are WAV format and I had exported it before a couple of times in MP3. Then I get back and fix some part of the work it turns out I cannot export them at all. Picture attach below. Do you have a solution for this?
Hi, I understand there is probably an easy solution to this that I'm missing but it's driving me nuts trying to get it to work. Basically, I want to be able to have multiple inputs plugged into my interface to record on Audition (two microphones, a cord connected to phone for calls) and then to be able to listen to the other channels (phone call) through the bluetooth headset connected to my computer. I'd prefer that than having to plug the headset into the interface because the quality's not the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
