All of a sudden Adobe Autition 2020 lost all my Favorites settings. I restared the computer, but they did not come back. I still got my Favorites on my other computer, but I cannot find where they are stored. They are no longer where they used to be in Adobe Audition 2019 and earlier versions. Please can someone help me here? Thanks!
just installed Adobe Audition and I am getting an error message that reads "Audition has detected a problem with the current audio hardware settings". So what do I need to do? This error pops up when I try and record.
Hi everyone. I'm new to using adobe audition and I'm trying to work out how to record an interview with someone off-site, either through Skype, Zoom or iPhone. Can anyone suggest a VERY basic YouTube video tutorial to watch? The ones I have found are too complicated. Thank youRebecca
I'm using my boat company's USB headphones, I'm having issues with low loudness while recording my audio, I tried changing settings in audio hardware. I changed master clock options from: out Speakers ( High definition audio device) toIn: Microphone (High definition Audio device). I even tried changing Latency options but nothing worked.. Can anyone help me outThanking in advance.
Good afternoon! When opening a multi-channel WAV file (this one happens to be a 32-track 32-bit, 48KHz file) out of my recorder (KlarkTeknik DN32-LIVE), no PKF (peak file) is generated. Therefore every time I open the multi-track project that uses these files, there is a very long load time, as Audition must re-scan all the audio files. Yes, I have all the features enabled to create PKF files. AND the weird part, it only does this with certain multi-channel wav files. I created a 32-track WAV file in Audition, saved it, and it saved a PKF file. I even tried opening up the aforementioned file out of the DN32-LIVE, re-saving it with Audition and still no PKF file was generated. Is there a way I can submit this file for analysis to see why Audition does not recognize it as a standard multi-track WAV file? It responds the same way whether this is is an 8, 16, or 32-track file out of the DN32. Thanks!!-Todd
Is it possible to use my scarlett 18i20 external USB device (8 channels) and my internal m-audio delta sound card (4 channels) at the same time? It looks like under the hardware setup you can only select one type at a time. Thx!
i don't know if this is possible, but is there anyway that while using two USB microphones I can somehow use them both to pick up recording for the two different speakers in the podcast. I haven't been able do what I mentioned above so I did it in another format so I just used my apple device for one way to record and my laptop for voice recorder for another. But this process is quite time consuming and hopefully there is a way (or close to a way) that you could help me resolve this issue. Secondly, in terms of mic bleed I have a large issue with that in addition. Which also leads to finally, I don't know how you can accurately line up the clips so they play together In unison and have no delay. Hopefully this is enough detail for my request but I will put it into simple: q1- how to record on audition with two usb mics (using a laptop and no audio interface) (laptop has 3 usb slots)q2- Mic bleed (and how to solve even when two people talk at same time)q3- how to line up
Hello, how can you customize the file storage using window 10 audition and premiere
What is hard pan?
Help!!! I have this issue. I got the OM7 Mic to try to get rid of the background noise. I'm a beginner by the way and well here Is what I've done so far-- I bought a Focusrite and connected that I also tried building some sort of DIY home studio (i tried recording outside of it and the underwater /tin sound is still present). Background noise is not present but the white noise is crazy which I tried getting rid of in audacity with noise reduction. Sigh. And one last thing i noticed that when I increase the gain on focusrite the white noise is well what it normally is, annoying. But if i try reducing the gain then the white noise is like a monster lol. Am i doing something wrong? I'm about to pull my hair out or worse cry. [Mod note: moved to a thread of its own]
Hi guys, So last night I managed to cut out all the sections i wanted from one audio. All of the clips were seperate as I was going to edit each section seperatley. However, as you can see, only half of my clips have sound... last night whilst i was editing the piece/ going over it everything was fine. I managed to save my session alongside the material I was using so that I could continue it today.... BUT WHERE'S THE REST OF MY SOUND 😞 I have checked things out in 'audio hardware/mapping,' and nothing is on mute? Is there a way to retrieve the sound from my clips or will i have to start again? I appreciate any help i can get! Thank you 🙂
I'm a voiceover artist that used a stacked EFX rack in Adobe Audition 3.0. When I updated my system to Windows 10 and Audition (cloud) 13 version, I discovered when you now select the Effects tab -->Amplitude & Compression tab, then Tube-Modeled Compressor -->Voice Over that previously featured presets of Voiceover A and Voiceover B options were no longer included. I used those settings a lot -- is there any way to get a plug-in for them ... or get the orginal settings data so I can create a preset effect to match them? Please advise. Thank you.
Are there any free plugins to use for adobe audition?
Hi community,This is my first, somehwhat desperate, post. I've received a file that has regular skips/mis-recording every couple of seconds. It is not a case of silence gaps, but almost as if piece of the recording are missing and it is squashed together as it carries on. The audio was recorded through a sound desk into a USB. I think I know how this has happened but wondered if anyone had magic solutions to fix or improve? Thanks.
I played Reel to Reel tapes (10 inch) 1/4", 7.5 i.p.s. and recorded them in a Digital format using a Teac USB AD-RW900 on its USB device. Then I tranferred the songs to Adobe AU as Audio Files. The problem is that the Reel to Rell machine (Tascam32) was not tuned to the correct speed for playing, so the recondings I have are with a different pich due to the speed. As I am processing these original songs with Adobe AU, I need to know if there is a function that stretches the mutitrack file in time but at the same time modifies the pitch accordingly, as if it was played faster on an analog device. Thanks,
Hi, New to Audition and hopefully being very stupid...I'm trying to use the Audio Plugin Manger to load some VST's i've bought / downloaded. Adding additional paths to the default folders, including to 64 bit installation directory that has a bunch of dll files After hitting "Scan for Plug-Ins" i see them all get listed as its processing through (lists each under the progress bar one by one). But after nothing ever appears in the section with enabled / name / type / status / path. Is there something i'm missing? or perhaps a good test VST i could try loading in to sanity check? Thanks for any help!~Craig
When opening a file on Audition the file opens however I am unable to do anything to it at all. I get the beachball of death whenever opening any .sesx file. It does not matter what size. My IT department has recently installed a new version of Audition on my machine. I cannot wait for my IT department to fix this issue. Any advice? I can create new files and edit them just fine with no freeze. This is very frustrating as I cannot edit any of my previous projects.
My microphone has a little manual book (Rode NT-USB) and it displays these as it's descriptions- frequency range- 20Hz ~ 20khz dynamic range- 96db maximum SPL- 110dB SPL is there anyway I could use this as an advantage for mic bleed or noise reduction (by using the numbers above and applyingit to different effects?) and also overall how do I cut out the frequencies of my laptop and make my mic sound normal? thanks, JohnAbruzzi
I'm attempting to get Audtion CS6 to load Antares Autotune plugins using the Audio Plug-in Manager. I've added the VST Plug in folder and scanned for plugins. I've ticked the rescan existing plugins but I'm not getting any plugins listed at all. I've tried using Jbridge but I still get nothing. I've searched online but I haven't been able to find any solution that helps. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm getting a little frustrated. Please help
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rOq8X5AwrTzzZUHJyu6Ul3RQevfkMioE/view?usp=sharing i have uploaded a link of the sample that i recorded on Adobe Auditionwhen i play it, it sounds frazzeled and glitchy i'd like to know how to correct this as soon as possible.
I subscribed to a plan for Adobe Audition for my schooling as my school set up account didnt work.I started and finished my assignment as usual and planned to keep it.Due to schools closure I no longer need it and since we had to save money for the virus I needed to cancel my subscription.I am a school kid paying for my own things and understandable the company needs to make moneybut seriously $149.95 to cancel my subscription! Am I missing something here?!Why did I need to pay $149.95!! That is crazyI understand there are more important things right now but im just frustrated that this is an actaul thing?!
Hello all! Trying to figure out a way to record BOTH the audio from my USB desktop microphone AND the audio coming from the computer. To be more specific, if I am on a skype/discord call, I want to be able to pick up both my side and the other end. I've tried with no success to find an answer in the forums as well as youtube tutorials. Many thanks!
I can't get audio sound to audition when I connect mixer Q1202 USB.I can't find instuctions on the settings for input/ output. Any help setting up a USB mixer profile is greatly appreciated.thanks
I have a Behringer Xenyx Q502 USB mixer with a microphone plugged in. Any ideas on how to record with it?
Back in the before times, while mixing multi-track tape through a mixer with a reverb unit on and aux send, when playback was stopped, the reverb tail would continue on. This made it nice to really hear the decay before mix down. I've recently moved to Audition from Nuendo 2.0, which did this nicely. I'm using some work at home time to teach myself. My editing game is coming along but when this crisis is over, I hope to be back to remote recording classical music. I have my reverb on a buss and can automate the reverb in and out fine, but having this feature in Audition would be excellent. I've clicked pre/post fader on the track and buss channel but no. Am I missing something?
