Audition

Hello Everyone.Inside Audition, I select the Clip, and I go to File- Export- Multitrack Mixdown- Entire Session. But I don't see any MP4 on the List.I can easily Export from Audition to Premiere, and Export It as H264 and It works. But I want to do It directly from AuditionAlso, Is this a correct way to Export a single Clip ?Thanks.

I am trying to export a multitrack mixdown that is almost an hour long. It's big, I get it, but I cannot for the life of me get past the bad allocation error. I've tried exporting it in bits, I've changed the available RAM for Audition, and I've tried restarting, etc. I don't know what to do, please help me.

Adobe Audition suddenly stopped playing a video. But it loads the video when scrubbing the track, or while stopped. I honestly have no idea where to even start debugging this because my workflow, files, and computer are all the same. It was working, then halfway through this project, it just suddenly stopped.  I'll muddle along through this project, but it completely messes up my workflow. I'm hoping that someone can at the least suggest something to check to fix this problem. I'd think it was a button I pressed, but I can't think of a workflow where this would be a feature.  Thank you in advance for any of the help you can provide. I've tried rebooting and reopening the project. And that did nothing. 

Almost everytime I use audition, the program is adding waveform where there should be none, or cutting waveform where it should be.  Example attached of waveform being added where there should be none.  Thanks for your feedback gang!

Hi. I used Audition 1.5 many years ago. I have the original disc, serial number and key for it, but my current laptop has no disc drive. I know that we're long past the time when Adobe supported this product, but I'm not intereted in the Cloud versions of the product. I'm on a Windows 10 64 bit laptop. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks!Ruby

Hey Guys, This seems simple but idk how to delete the deadspace at the end of my track. Audio/music stops at 36:39, but keeps going with deadspace to about 38:57. How do I delete this deadspace? Thanks for all y'all's help!

I have been editing an audiobook using Audition CC2019.  There are 52 chapters.  The audio levels with each chapter vary but are generally consistent.  ACX -- the publishing company for audiobooks -- has a requirement that all submissions have an RMS value between -18db and -23db, with a peak no higher than -3db, and a sound floor of -60.I've run a batch process through the Match Loudness panel, and get a consistent peak of -3.5db, just below the ceiling, but my RMS Values are all too high, ranging from 26 to over -30db.Anybody with experience in Audiobooks out there with a method that will bring this audio into compliance with ACX?Thanks for your help.

I uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times but it still ended up looking like this. I tried messing around with the view and tried different workspaces(nothing changed). I even tried to check the general setting in the preferences but it's blank; as you can see in the image. Everything in my device manager is up to date and so is my computer. The other Adobe apps are woking fine, it's just Audition that I have a problem with. Am I missing something?

I used Audition 3.01 for 10 years to process digital recordings of a concert band directly from CD compiler built in.  Now, using Audition 5 CS, I get the CD compiled, but it won't burn CD's.  What else do I need to do? 

I've been working on a multitrack session for a few days without any issues. This morning, I tried to open the file and received an error message that read, "This file is not supported by libsndfile. Code 21. File contains data in an unknown format." I have no idea why this started happening now. Can someone give me any advice for how to fix it?   

Dear all,I have a life recording from a band The Gathering that has been recorded on a MD portable with a microfoon. The sound is acceptable but the high frequenties sounds like a flanging effect.(like you are playing two indentical vinyl records at the same time)I would like to improve the sound quality  by removing this strange effect.Does anyone know how to proceed?Regards Robin

I just upgraded to the paid membership for Adobe Audition.  Until now, I've been using the very first version of Audition that was installed on my computer.  Needless to say, a lot of things have changed!  The old Audition was a lot easier to use.  Anyway, I have a question about editing.  I am used to highlighting a section of audio, and then when I hit the space bar to make it play, it only play that selection - and anytime I press the spacebar, only that section plays.  That's what I want.  With the new Audition, the same thing happens the first time I hit the space bar.  But the second time, the play head just keeps going past my selection.  It is sooo frustrating.  How do I make it so that when I select a portion of audio, only that portion plays?  Thanks for any input!

I record speeches quite regularly on a wireless microphone that allows me record at 0 dB and -12 dB simultaneously from the same lav mic. If the audio peaks on the 0 dB track, I may fade-switch to the -12 dB track to avoid distorted audio.I have been syncing the 2 tracks and manually compensating the audio levels through dB keyframes between the 2 tracks whenever it is needed as shown in the attachment. I fade down the dB of the peaking track and fade up the dB of the -12 track under multitrack.I’d like to keep doing the duo-record and primarily use the 0 dB track with intermittent -12 dB track fixes. I’ve already tried lowering the recording gain level so I never run into peaking issues; however, then I find normalizing the audio necessary and it brings up unwanted noise. Yes, I’m sure I could use NR, normalizing, compression, & EQ effects better, but may this conversation please stick to mixing the two tracks faster & better?Efficiency & a cleaner way to mix between the 2

Ive got a lot of clips on the one track after syncing some vocals. When I try to merge two clips, the shape of the waveforms changes in one channel or drops a channel altogether. I dont understand why. There are no clip effects on one separately. I would like to be able to know why some clips can merge successfully (on the same track) and others cannot.  I appreciate help, thank you. 

I have been using Audition 3.0 for over 10 years with little to no issues, the last 3 years on Windows 10.  Now today out of the blue, I am getting the R6025 error.  Same issues as everyone else, but I do not see any guidance for Windows 10.  I would just say screw it and use the cloud version, but it is a giant pain in the ass because I am not fast on it with all the changes they made.  Can anyone offer suggestions on how to fix?  I don't even think I am able to downloard it anymore. 

Hello, My gear:Sony A7III, Rode Link, Rode Shotgun Mic Pro, Beachtech Adapter, Macbook Pro with latest OSI am a video beginner. I did my first video project and I was pretty happy with the result but some of the audio clips sound too small and also has white noise. So I removed the white noise by noise reduction in Audition, made it sound closer by EQ level, and volumed up a bit. I think the voice itself sounds pretty good now but the audio file has this high tone noise, which kind of sounds like glass pieces hitting each other throughout the clip and also noise sounds kind of like a cricket in between the person talking, where it is supposed to be silent. I think this is because the white noise is removed and that high tone noise became more clear. Somehow regular noise reduction doesn't remove the high tone noise. It reduces it a bit but doesn't remove it. Even if I select the specific cricket-like sound area and take the Noise Print and apply the noise reduction, the crick

This is a new behavior I can't account for and can't seem to fix. I have long used AA CS6 with a Firewire-connected Focusrite Pro40 preamp/audio interface. All my input and output flows through it. Now, all of a sudden, the Audio Hardware dialog doesn't see it; all I have for choices are Built-in Microphone and Built-in Output. I am on a Mac, High Sierra OS 10.13.6. Now here's the kicker, If I look at the Mac's "About" hardware list, I DO see my Focusrite unit connected via Firewire. So the Mac sees it but AA doesn't. Huh? I can't quite see how this happened without warning, unless there was some kind of background update that did it. But I know I have a connected Firewire audio device. Why doesn't Audition know? I'm dead in the water.

Please help!!!!!!!I'm working on a project and used noise reduction. I accidentally captured voices when using it and now have the "tinny" sound. I haven't saved my project and have been trying to fix this. Is there a way to undo noise reduction? 

I'm sure this is an easy fix, but I'm trying to cut one track using the razor tool and its cutting all of the tracks. How do I select just one?
