Audition

i currently have a monthly subscription plan for audition and photoshop with creative cloud. spectrum internet is down throughout upstate ny...am i able to use audition without an internet connection? if so is there anything special i need to do for it to work? if not, any suggestions on what i can do?

Okay so I have an interview, there is a section that is great and I want to use it but she continues on so the last word hasn't got the lower pitch that a person would usually use to finish a sentence. How do I do this in Audition? I have been playing with the pitch shifter but it sounds bloomin' awful. 

hey guys, i'm using MixPad and would like to get rid of it once and for all. The problem i'm having is that with MixPad, I have an intro that i'm playing before the main content. There are 2 parts to the intro... the music and the voice over. The way i have it working in mix pad is the music fades in then about 4 seconds in, it fades down in volume, not all the way and the voice over intro comes in. When the voice over finishes playing, the music fades back up to volume and then fades out. This is produced for a radio program so hopefully that makes sense. In mix pad, i just add points on a fade line and move the fade line up and down depending on the volume i need. How can i accomplish this in Audition? Below is an image of what i have in mix pad and you can see the fade line in red and what i mean. All your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! damien 

I've run into this issue a few times and always do my best to make sure Cell Phones are off or in Airplane Mode when recording begins, but doing documentary work and events it doesn't always pan out that way.  I have a current audio file that is covered in the cell phone frequency beeps and no matter what method of noise reduction or adapative noise reduction I've utilized, it still persists in some capacity.  Anyone else dealt with this and have a solution without disrupting voice quality?

Hello,  I am having issues with a delay in recording vocal tracks. There are no audio latency issues, but when I playback clip it is behind by about a second. I am now having to constantly shift my clips over after each recording. How do I get back to realtime placement?  Using Audition on iMac 2019 8 gig ramyeti blue USB microphoneI/o buffer 4096Sample rate 44100 Thanks in advance!

Up unil yesterday, we could edit 5 mp3 or wave files and save them in a batch, and it happened really quick.  But somone at our studio accidently clicked some buttom, and not it is taking forever. Does anyone know what I can to reset the batch time, so we can get things saved in quick order?ThanksDeanKKRH and KKAG

Hello, Would appreciate a simple layman-speak answer please!Is an asymmetric wave form like this (see below) a problem? It sounds OK to me. It happens when I use Match Loudness ITU. This is for ACX Audible audiobook spec. I have done this:Normalise to -3dBGeneric high passLight noise reduction (process)Vocal enhancer pluginMatch Loudness  ITU -20 <where it goes asymmetricTotal RMS -15ITU -20 PS I'm new to mastering and have studied everything I can find; this is by far the best, most natural sound I've got so far after much teeth-gnashing, so if the asymmetry isn't a problem, I'm happy!Many thanks,Jules PPS the image wouldn't post for html reasons. It's nicely spikey-varied along the top, but the bottom edge is flat/clipped-looking.  

i am fearful that after noise reduction if i do amplification it will amplify the noise also. so first we should do amplification and than noise reduction? please help

 I have three recordings, let's call them  Recording ARecording BRecording C all three recordings have some "additional" and unwanted sounds in them, is there a way in Audition to compare all three recordings(Recording A, Recording B and Recording C) and delete everything that is not the same??  (ie. to isolate the "additional" and unwanted sounds, and save that as a separate audio track. Lets call that "Noises"track) So I can then use that Noises track to subtract from other recordings I may make (until I figure out what is making the sounds). any help would be appreciated. thanks 

Hi, i work in studio of editors for commercials and lately we started to work also with Audition CC now, we trying to do  a round trip from premiere CC to Audition CCwhen I press Edit in adobe audition I have no problem. and then the Audition gets open and I get the message that it Could not find the file.the "link media" is gray... no matter what i try it's not working. the problem repeats in all the company users 😕😕 can somone help?   

My previous comment is now added to;  When I go to save an audio file, it now says "stretch and pitch" and it is taking 20 minutes to save a mp3 or wav.  How do I turn off this Stretch and Pitch? Thank youDean Huibregtsedhuibreg@gmail.com

I used two mics, connected to one video camera, to record a live music performance. The camera operator manually adjusted the sound levels on the camera during the performance, resulting in the two tracks having different levels during some of the recording. Is there a way to auto adjust the levels so they match? I know how to do it manually, but it is so tedious. I'm not an engineer, so some sort of auto feature would be helpful. You can see the difference in the levels in the attached photo. Thanks for any assistance.

Same problem last year. On the phone with Dell for 6 hours to get that fixed.Two hours into it now, they can't fix.Anybody else experience this? Thanks in advance.

I can add a video to audition just fine, but when I select a clip to edit in the waveform editor, the video disappears. Do you know how I can fix this? I need to be able to continue seeing the video when I am using the waveform editor.

I currently have a Pro Tools subscription that does not let me import/edit ambisonic audio. I would like to know if I sign up for the $20.99 version of audition, will it let me import ambisonic audio, i.e. FuMa/AmbiX formats. Thank you.   

is there a more efficient way of uploading Audition files to Soundcloud than: saving file to hard disk/opening Soundcloud/uploading within Soundcloud?I understand there was once a direct export capability, but it was removed in 2015 and Adobe said they were exploring alternative interfaces with Soundcloud.Has there been any progress on this?I am new to Audition and use it mainly for frequent podcasting.Many thanks

I'm working in Mac OS 10.15.2, and have installed the latest versions of PP Pro and Audition (14.01) and Audition (13.02.35) Despite the updates, when I try to "Edit a Clip in Audition" from PP pro, no clip appears within Audition. I tried trashing my Prefs in PP Pro to see if that would help, but alas, nothing.  Any ideas? 

Although the Mbox is perfectly working (tested in Garageband) Audition does not get any input from it. I have tried all different settings regarding sampling rates and clock and it remains mute. If someone can give me some directions I would appreciate.

Hi folks Try to reproduce step by step: 1) New > Audiofile (i select SR 44100 \ Stereo \ BD 16) Ok2) RM Click to level meter in bottom > select Meter Input Signal3) Now, close (minimize) Audition window to take focus of any other program, and then back to Audition again.4) Now, press Record button - you should see some being stuck (or freeze) instead start of recording, and repeat press of record button will cause some CPU activity without any locator movement\recording. Please check it. Added: Audition launched with admin. rights. (Win 10)

I want write script in Adobe ExtendScript toolkit for adobe audition CC 2020 but did not find command for select frequency in Spectral Frequency Display. Any of you have this problem and/or know how to fix it? Every single time I open Audition the "Audition Learn" panel opens up on top of everything else and I have to close it. Small problem, but tedious.Thanks in advance.
