Audition

what if i have an existing audio that says "hate" and i want to change it into saying "love" using the same voice, how will i do that? Is that possible when i use adobe audition or nah?

Is there any way to prevent Audition from highlighting everything you just recorded when you press the space bar?

Hi there, I've just recently had to reload my Audition CS6 onto my MacBook pro after wiping the computer clean. I hooked up my old microphone, AT2020 USB and everything was ok. Got a new Rode NT1-A and an AI-1 interface and when hooked up now produces a clicking and popping on my recordings. I've adjusted the audio input level on the Mac, changed the sample rate from 44100 to 22050 and it's still happening. Anyone have a solution? Thanks! 

HiNew to this program and this is driving me crazy atm.I have a Motu express interface as well as a virtual audio cable that shows up fine in the hardware section.But when I try to chose the different inputs/outputs I can still only chose the defaults as in the second picture? This doesn't make any sense to me at all, if the program finds the different hardware, why is it not presenting me with the correct options?Thnx/Johan 

Nice to see everyone after a number of years!I want to play around with templates, having the session and mixer preset for a number of tasks instead of rebuilding the session as I need it every time.  Once I get the session set, before recording or importing audio, how do I save that as a template?  And will it show up in the template list when creating a session?Many thanks!

Hi, I just made the leap from CoolEdit to Audition (on OSX) and by and large I'm finding my way okay, but there is a thing I can't figure out: I want to populate the Favorites with some commands, like Noise Reduction (process) but I can't seem to add it without also running it. What I want is just for the settings panel to show up, so I can review it before committing. In other words, I want a favorite to do the same thing that would happen if I did shift-command-P. I did find the 'star' option (next to trash can icon) but that doesn't work for me, either: I immediately get a noise reduction, based on the last noise print I made. Same problem with the Dynamics Processing menu. I can add it via a star or by recording the action, but I don't want it to run, I just want to see the settings panel. So what am I doing wrong, guys? 

Why is adobe read aloud so choppy?  There are these huge gaps of time between words while words are spoken really fast wtf Like if you convert to word and use word read aloud it's so much ridiculously better.

Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a new laptop. I've been told more than once that I should buy a Mac, but I'm not familiar with the OS. I just wanted to know what kind of PCs are out there that are worthy of purchasing and pricing is not the biggest issue. I just want a good machine that I know can do more than keep up with the system requirements.Thanks

Hi all,I cannot get either my built in mic or my audio interface mic to input audio into any Premier Application. I can get any other application to accept my mics but Adobe will not pick up any mic. I have allowed the PC to allow all apps to use the microphone in privacy settings to no avail and I have set up all the inputs and outputs correctly in Audition. I have all the settgins right on my PC to my knowledge. When I go to record it picks up absolutely nothing, there are no wavelengths. I've spent hours now trying to get it to work but it simply will not.

Hello Everyone, I had to replace my harddrive and now when I record audio in adobe audition the audio is a slight lower pithced than recorded. The funny thing is I tried anothe computer with and I getting the same results. I am using an external mic, with maudio interface and adobe audition latest version on windows 10. Any help with this matter with be greatly appreciated.

I want to delete some words. I mark the word i want to delete, and what i would like to know is, how can i play the marked part in loop, so that its possible to really check if i marked enough oder not too much.I want the pointer go to the beginning of the marked part again, after it played it till the end. I hope to make my question clear. thank youkatharina 

I was working on an individual audio file, altering the left/right balance in channel mixer, then Audition threw an error and now all the audio in the file is GONE! Erased. I can't undo, I tried copy/pasting the file in windows to create a new copy, but that one is blank too. My entire audio file - lost! This is extremely frustrating. Any way to get the file back?

Greetings!My question is that if a midi file has pitch bend information -for example a guitar solo written in midi- or vibratos (in guitar pro tab) the DAW seems to not be able to read that information but only simple notes.Is there any solution on my problem ?

Greetings,Hopefully, I'm just being thick and overlooking the obvious, but I can't find a way to save appended tracks individually. Here's a typical scenario, I deal with live concerts and there are instances where, say, I need to swap the channels for every track of a show. I open the first track, append the remaining tracks, so I have the entire show as one .wav. I swap the tracks and now want to save the appended tracks(that have had the channels swapped) back as individual tracks again. Seems simple enough. but I can't seem to figure it out. what am I missing? Regards,Scott

I rearragned a few spliced clips in one track, and now those clips have a lower volume that cannot be changed. The volume envelope line is completely stuck; I can neither move it nor add control points to it on the rearranged clips. Is there any way to regain control of the volume on those clips?       

Hello,I have two different versions of Adobe Audtion installed on my computer by Adobe Creative Cloud. Each installation takes up 1 Gig of space. There are two versions 12.2.15 and 13.0. Can I uninstall the older version. Each version has two installation folders and two icons in the start menu. I would like to reclaim the space one of these versions is taking up. My subscription is through Adobe Enterprise as I work for a university and I am allowed to install on my home computer as I also work from home. Please let me know what I should do with one of these versions.Thank you.

Who thinks might know how to share a podcast but with a private link?

having trouble with version of audition CC2019 12.1.  I produce radio programs, and there are several files I use repeatedly within many programs.  lately, one certain file that I've used for at least two years has been crashing audition multitrack.  I drag the file into multitrack and boom - session crashes.  sometime the session is recoverable.  tonight two hours work disappeared because it couldn't recover the session.  I tried creating new copies of the file, but it just kept crashing after being dragged in. what would cause this?

I'm using AU CC 2018.  I begin each project with a 50 minute master of raw dialogue.  I place the raw master on track 1, save the project with an appropriate name, and begin cutting.  First phase of project is a 22 minute clean version of the original.  We typicaly get two episodes from each 50 min "master" and they are uploaded for broadcast.  Here's the problem: Weeks later, an instruction comes from the producer,  with certain lines or words to be omited from the oroginal raw master, so they won't appear in the 33 min episodes.  So I call up the oroginal raw master and see that it obviously begins at 00:00:000.  Now I can move along the timeline and find the offending words I've been tasked to strike.  Obviously I can't destructively cut the oroginal, so I now open one of the edited episodes I think might contain the edit points.  Now of course the Audition timeline tells me the episode has begun at zero and I move to some point
