Audition

Hi everyone,The title basically sums up the problem I'm having. I frequently use this effect to create smooth transitions between tracks with different tempos. However, the process seems to be somewhat inaccurate. For example, if I had "Track A" at 140 BPM and wanted to transition out of it into "Track B" at 150 BPM, I might take a section of Track A, and make it go from 140 to 150 BPM (in terms of percentages of course since that's how the effect works), and take an equal section of Track B (in terms of beats) and make it also go from 140 back to its original tempo of 150 BPM. Sometimes the effect works fine, but several times it doesn't work as well, which is a shame because I would love to use this effect more often.Any tips on how I could make this effect be more accurate besides setting precision on high? Maybe even some suggestions on how I could achieve this same effect but with some other more accurate method?Thanks for your help!

HelloI have a job to convert  analog Super 8 film. The subjects were filmed and the sessions recorded on cassette tape.  What I must do is sync the audio to subject. In this sample I can as is evident in the start of the segment sync the audio to the subjects lips. Later the audio slips out of sync. I started at the beginning of this 19minute film recorded 1971 where Margarete introduces herself 'I am Margarate...." and using the Alt + arrow key moved the audio left and right to find her lip sync. Is there a method in Audtion CS6 where the whole of the audio matches the speaker? I think I am  missing the obvious and seek advice here in this forum.Thanks

I am using Audition cs6 on win10 and connected to a behringer x32 via the behringer ASIO firewire card. My problems is that I can record all 32 channels fine, but I can not playback at all. I have selected the ASIO driver and configured the input/output on all 32 channels. Mackie control is set to MIDI in and MIDI out but still not sound. What am I missing?BTW, i have set the X32 to received it input from the DAW card configured in auditionAny help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to install audition CS6 in my macbook and after I download the 387mb dmg file I click on install and an error message pops up and says "We've encountered the following issues  Installer failed to initialize.  This could be due to a missing file.  Please download Adobe support advisor to detect the problem".  I am in real need of this working in my macbook, can somebody help me?  (also, I ran the adobe cloud cleaner tool as well) Jim

Is there a way to cut out all similar Audiospectra of a Track and put them on a separate additional new Track.Once you marked a specific pattern of audiospectra you can tell Au to learn the pattern for Noice-Reduction/Soundremoval - but I would not only remove it but cut it out an put it on a separate Track (of corse remaining the original timemanagement).For example: I would like to split a track of clear speech and end up with several tracks - each containing only a different syllable/speachsound over the whole time - is there a automized way without doing it manually for each syllable? - I know it is hard to differentiate between the harmonic sounds like A,I,E - but it doesnt need to be that accurate and even the sound quality of the output-tracks doesnt really matter - the tracks would later be used to trigger shape-keys in a 3D-Modell via F-Curve and to help with the overall lipsync-animation.I really would appreciate your help.THX!Deutsch:Ich möchte eine Audiospur (klare Sprache)

I have loved Audition, but, not for one thing. I have to create separate tracks to add different effects to clips. I mean, the effects don't seem to persist after the clip is over. For example, if I add Delay or Echo as a clip effect, it stops as the clip ends even if there are more tracks (or clips) after that. So, if in a track, I have to add different effects to different parts of the track, I have to create a whole new track and that makes the "Clip Effect" option useless. Any solution to keep the effect lasting even after clip ends? I hope I could explain it clearly. Please let me know if anyone didn't understand.

I'm a new user of this software and I have a video of my mom talking at a bar and since it's a bar there is music playing in the background. Is there any way I can take the background music and get rid of it?

Does anybody knows if there is  a update of Adobe Audition (2017) that works fine with the Altiverb plugin, the vst plugin shows up in the plugin list as a working vst, but when i search for it to use it, it doesn't show up in the list, (Windows 7 Ultimate)

I applied chorus/flanger swirl pool to the waveform version of a signal and when I switch back to multitrack it sound dry. The same effect doesn't sound the same in multitrack as it does in waveform. How do I get them to sound the same?

Hi,I'm thinking of getting the Master collection (Student and Teacher licensing) CS6 for my iMac. I know you can edit sound and music in Audition cs6, but can you create new music from scratch? Kinda like apple garageband? Also, if you can, do you own 100% of the copyright of the original music you make from Adobe Audition?Please kindly advise,Thank you!!

HelloI don’t know how to begin to improve this audio.I have started by normalizing first, amplify, multiband compressor/broadcast, then noise reduction. Then again I would do noise reduction, amplify, acron-deverberate.  If I did not do a deverberate I would attempt to apply the parametric equalizer using Larry Jordan’s method to increase vocal. Thus I would try various methods and some would be almost acceptable and others would be failures.The results in my attempts are less than desirable. If you folks don’t mind giving a listen to this sample and if there if a method  to fix this audio I would be most grateful to know.Thanks!

Hello. For Adobe Audition there are sounds and loops as wav file to download. Is there a possibility to integrate these directly into audition, so I do not have to search every file individually on the hard drive. Can someone help me ?

Ok...I have a project that is 50 or so tracks. They are all at different lengths. The mixing/mastering engineer is working in another DAW. So...I need to bounce all the tracks out to the exact same length into individual tracks so that when he drops them in his DAW, everything will line up properly.Here's what I've done thus far:1. Added a marker 10 seconds past the the longest track.2. Highlighted all the tracks.Now, I'm stuck...I can't figure out how to export EACH track with a single command. I could easily go through and mute all the tracks and bounce each track one at a time....but, OH MY GOODNESS...that would take forever!!!Isn't there something that I could export/bounce ALL the tracks to say... 5:00 length and send them to a specific folder?I know that PT has this feature...can't seem to find it in AA.Thanks!

Build 10.1.1.11, macOS Sierra v 10.12.6I'm doing Noise Reduction the same way I have for years (capture noise print, select entire track, Noise Reduction), but for the last few months it has only worked when I run it twice, if that makes sense. The first time through does nothing, and I go through the process the exact same way and then it works like I expect it to.Anybody else bumped into this?

Greetings everyone!So I have Adobe Audition 3 after using 1.5 for so long. My VST (Bias Desktop) has been acting up with AA 1.5 for a while so I decided to upgrade to AA3.Everything is working smoothly so far except that after I use my Bias Desktop on a track, it forces a fade in. Sometimes it doesn't have the fade in but sometimes it does and I can't figure out why it's doing this. Thank you in advance, Jordan

Hello.I have a 1000 MP3's that I like to process: matching volume and maybe some editing (fade in/out, ...). A few years ago, I read that if you do this on an MP3 and you save the file again, you would have (some) data loss.To avoid this I could convert them all to WAV, do the necessary things and save them back as MP3. But with 1000 MP's this would be crazy.My question is thus:If Adobe Audition CS6 opens an MP3 (or another format) file, is it instantly opened " as a WAV file ", so one can process it (being a wave and not a data file)?If yes, the data loss problem is avoided, as well as processing 1000 MP3's from MP3 to WAV to MP3 (...).Thanks for an answer in a short notice.Friendly greetings.Oli4

Hello I have an WAVE audio file that can be read on VLC but not on AUDITION or ADOBE PREMIERE PRO. It seems that is is corrupted or that its data go beyond 100MO and can't be read. Thank you for your help.

In Audition CS6, when I press spacebar or the play button, nothing happens but in the lower left it turns to "playing." The red line wont move. No audio. Nothing. Then when I open the preferences tab, suddenly it starts to work and play sound in the background. Then when I close the preferences tab is suddenly stops working. Wtf is going on?

Hey All... I use a number of VST plugins that work fine - Waves Silver package, NS1, Izotope RX suite, RX Final Mix - but for some reason AudioEase plugins (both Altiverb and Speakerphone) cause Adobe Audition CC (latest edition) to crash. It's a Windows "This program has stopped working" generic error with no logs or error code that I can tell. Happens every time, on new sessions, or when using the plugin standalone in Edit mode. Any troubleshooting ideas? Other people with this issue?
