So I have been wondering this for a long time now and when watching videos like this, the question kept popping up in my head about how people do this type of magic.Power Rangers Megaforce - Opening SFX and Voices - YouTubePower Rangers Super Megaforce - Opening SFX and Voices - YouTubePower Rangers Dino Charge - Opening SFX - YouTubePower Rangers Ninja Steel Opening (No Music) - YouTubeSo my question(I have been wondering where to put this but I have no clue what product these people use), but is there any way to do this magic/process in adobe or other products with this process, because I might want to do this for future openings that might pop up in the future of this show!
I got an AAF of a short film and used AATranslater to create an SESX file from it that I opened in Audition. AATranslater converted the aiff files into .wav, too. I've done this before with no problem. The mono .wav files populated a stereo multitrack from the AAF/SESX conversion and I copied them to a 5.1 SESX session I created to mix in.I then added a video with a stereo audio track attached, which plays nicely when the spacebar is pressed on the multitrack. The mono .wav files do not show any meter or make any sound when the timeline is playing, but I can hear each file perfectly in the waveform editor.I checked the output routing and they are all set to Master.I know my surround is working because I can pan the audio from the video to all of my speakers. This is very weird and frustrating. What else can I do or check? Thanks 😕😕.
Hi Adobe,I have assigned the shortcut "C" to the "FADE IN" function. Unfortunately, this command does not work during use. I am unable to enter the "FADE IN" function using a shortcut on the keyboard. The only possibility to use the fade in / out function is only through the mouse. In the old version of Audition 3.0 everything worked without a problem. Why are not abbreviations used in CS6 as well? Should I change something in the CS6 settings?Rgds,Martin
Hello everybody...Simple question... I have a sequence in Premiere that needs some changes but already did the mix in a multitrack sequence in Audition. Is there a way to export the premiere sequence changes to the same audition working file without having to redo all the mix? Same as it used to be in FC7.Thanks a lot
Hi! I am putting together dozens of videos (in premiere pro) of people saying something to the camera. I have music in the background, but it has to be low in order to hear the speaker...and I'm not getting the effect I want. I'm hoping there is some easy way to make the music volume lower when the next speaker speaks, and between, it would raise so you could here the song. Is this possible in audition without doing so manually? Thanks!

So I went out and bought the wrong mic for recording voice overs... which I realize only now that it's too late to bring back. I've got a Snowball with a homemade pop filter in front of it, but I still sound like I'm in a tunnel ... or a really small, cramped office (go figure!). I've been playing around with compression, but I don't know anything about audio so I'm not sure how to even describe my problem, let alone figure out how to fix it. Hoping someone can identify this "tunnel" sound for me and school me in the appropriate processing to use, assuming there is one. Here's a short clip of my voice overhttps://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/40199349/clip.mp3Thanks for the help!
Good afternoon from the UK.I'm new to Audition and have been following various tutorials on YouTube to learn how to use the software. After recording some Audio for the first time and hearing a hissing throughout in the background, I decided to look into Noise Reduction. I followed all the instructions and initially this worked. Now in creating a new recording and selecting a sample, it won't let me click 'noise Reduction or/Capture Noise Print' at all. I've tried without selecting first and then with selecting. I've tried in and out of a recording format. I am in the Podcast format if this makes any difference. Can anyone suggest where I'm going wrong?Jen
Hello I'm beginner and I need your help.I have a machine rec voice and I want to fix, like the movies. How to make that in adobe audition? Do you know a tutorial?Thank you
I generally edit audio on a second screen. I do not have access to that today. How can I get my program back on the full screen?
Is "Vocal Enhancer" at music preset & "Make Room For Vocals" Mastering preset the same thing?Would you use them together?Or are they redundant?
Only autosaves now are after I reopened it after crash. What can I do? There are autosaves of the project that I "saved as" from but that was created over a day ago.Any help much appreciated.
Hello all,So, I know you can use "ripple delete" to remove a section of audio from a clip and automatically slide all subsequent clips on the track left to remove the gap. And you can use "insert silence" to *add* a gap and slide all subsequent clips on the track to the right.BUT is there such a thing as "ripple add" (or similar) where you can drag a clip into a track and and all subsequent clips on the track slide right to make room (as with FCP's magnetic timeline, or shuffle mode in Pro Tools)? Is there such a thing as "ripple extend" (or similar) where you can use the bracket tool to extend a clip in either direction, and it will slide subsequent clips to adjust for the extended/trimmed audio? IIRC, Premiere has a ripple trim tool (the yellow bracket) that does this. I'd be surprised if Audition didn't have something similar. it helps a lot with timing edits around breaths and so forth. Thanks for the help!
CC 2018. The subject pretty much says it all. I've been messing with this for over an hour and I cannot get input from Windows10 running Chrome or from Premiere playing in the background over the stereo mix. I've watched the set-up videos and everything looks correct. I have updated the drivers (already latest drivers installed for Realtek audio, which is the recording channel). There is simply no input signal and nothing records, even though I can hear everything fin through headphones. When I switch recording devices I get a strange anomaly: for a split second the meter registers whatever is playing in the background, but then it freezes (same for both Dynamic and Static peak settings), and it still will not record. When I try to record and scrub through, it plays a low hum, although there is no waveform.

Hello,This afternoon I had a professional come to my place to record a voice over on my mic.Everything went great, and after he left, I even edited his first file. When came the moment to save the files, I save in WAV as usual. But for some reason that never happened before, the sampling was in set 8bit instead of 32bit. Then I closed Audition, and when I got back to it to finish the editing, I realized the mistake because there is a huge white noise on the tracks. Do you know if there is a way to get back the original track before saving it, kind of a temp file somewhere, before the mistake ?Otherwise, I'll just have to rerecord the whole voice over from the beginning. Thanks in advance for your help !Sébastien
I cannot seem to export my Audition session back into Premeiere Pro and maintain the panning and keyframes I created in audition. When I bring it back to Premiere all tracks are centered. The project was created in Premiere. Sequence is 5.1 master with standard tracks. I can Export as a 5.1 file and import into Premiere with all of my effects just fine. When I "Export each track as stem" (.xml) I lose effect information, however it is still fully intact in my Audition session. This is a feature film so the distributor is asking for stems along with the 5.1 file. Anyone know a good work around for this? I'm having trouble with connecting a second mic. I have two audio-technica mics - but only one is connecting to the program. any advice? Trying to start a podcast with guests. need help asap. thank you!
Hey there, I'm using Audition CC 2017.1.1 newest version and since I updated the program I can't use the rack effect "Mastering" anymore with presets. If I chose any of the presets in the dropdown menu on the mastering-window, I receive an error message saying something like: "Preset (name of preset) was not loaded correctly." (in German: "Die Vorgabe (Name) wurde nicht korrekt geladen.") I have no idea how to solve this problem, can you please help?
Hi guys, I'm using Audition to mix a 3 hours playlist for my friend's coffeeshop. I'm using the Multitrack editor, and whenever the levels goes above "red" (db>0, sorry I don't know how it's called – if someone can tell me the right terminology I'd appreciate), I want Audition to automatically stop so I can go fix it. Here are some screen caps, I hope I explain my issue clearly. In summary, I want Audition to auto-stop when the levels go red.
Hello. I would like to get the opening music from a bunch of videos that all have it. (specifically, the gameplay mechanics trailers and the aperture investment opportunity videos for the 2011 game, Portal 2)my idea on how I would do that is to convert all those videos to audio and import that into audition cs6, then somehow remove the sound effects from the song by removing the difference between all the audio tracks.I know how to convert to audio and import, but i dont know how i would do the difference-removal step.
Hello!I seem to remember, from the early early Audition and CEP days, that you could keep your selected area when you opened different tracks.I record my acoustic guitar with it's pickup and three different mics. When I make a mistake, and want to copy a different part of the track over my mistake, I want to do the exact same cut and paste operation on each track. While the selection view makes it pretty easy to type in your selected bars and duration, it easier if your selection stayed in sync.Is this possible? Thanks.Aaron
I've a simple question. Can we send just a clip to a bus track? Let me clarify, I just want to send one part of a track (which I've split - so, now, it's a seperate clip) to a bus track to add effects to more such clips, together. I wouldn't want to create a whole new track to add effects just to those small parts of some tracks. So, is sending just a particluar clip to a bus track possible? If yes, how?
I've seen several threads referring to a similar problem, but none that seemed to have a good resolution. I'll try again.Had a problem where Adobe Audition 3.01 wouldn't open the Edit view, so I deleted and reinstalled. Everything was fine. When I next tried to open Audition, it said that it couldn't find an audio device and wouldn't open at all. Tried rebooting, deleting the system preferences folder, and even installing a different audio interface. All to no avail. If I repair the program in Windows control panel program repair/delete options and reboot, that will allow me to use it that one time, but if I close Audition, it will then say again that it can't find an audio device when I try to reopen.Audition 3.01Windows 7 64 bitMOTU 828mk3 hybrid, via FirewireAlso tried an Audient ID14 USB, and all other audio programs, Izotope RX5, Audacity, WireReady work fine.
