Audition

Hey everyone,I've been using Audition for a while now but just basic use to cut up voice over audio, clean up noise, etc.I'm needing to add some reverb to a VO job and I've been using the Effects Rack but it seems that it has to render the reverb into the sound before exporting a WAV. Are there live FX in Audition? Meaning, if I apply reverb with certain settings, save the file, can I come back later and take out the reverb?Thanks!

HiI have a strange problem with some of my CC applications e.g Audition, Premiere and AE. Even though I'm running the applications in English, half of the menus are in korean?? What can I possibly do about this?

I did an hour long multitrack record of nine sources.When I opened the project it only showed me 20 minutes of audio. I drug the clips out to see that two tracks were shorter than the rest. Apparently they started dropping audio for several seconds at a time, both tracks dropped at different rate being different lengths themselves. They have an amplify effect on the track and that is all. There is a multiband compressor on the master track. I am recording using an ethernet/usb feed from my x32 soundboard. The mics that cut out were stereo mic feeds from audience. Any idea on what would cause this? I am recording on a imac 3.2 Ghz core i5, 32 GB Ram, El Cap 10.11.6Audition CC 2017 10.0.2.27

I am a beginner in audition but would love to start mixing and playing with some 5.1 sounds.  Could anyone give me some advise on a 6 channel hardware setup I could use to get started.  I am using an ASUS G752 laptop that has a thunderbolt port and a usb-c along with many other USB hookups.  I see plenty of usb soundcards that have: rear, front, and Center/LFE channels mixed.  Will one of those soundcards work or do I need 6 full independent channels?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am fairly new using audition and I encountered a problem that I can't seem to solve. While editing a video I needed to remove some background noises and soundtrack from a clip since I am only using the voice of the narrator. However when clicking edit with Audition the only thing that plays in Audition is the soundtrack and the noises (so basically, everything that I want to remove). There is no voice whatsoever, the narrator is completely gone. Why is this happening and what can I do to solve it? Thanks in advance for any help

I'm using Audition CS6 and I would like to know how to merge clips. I used the razor tool to split and ripple delete sections, but I cannot figure out how to combine the now split clips back into one. I'm editing three tracks simultaneously, if that makes a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Upgraded to Audition CC 2017 and now all my izotope pluggins fail and shut down Audition, anyone else having this issue?

Although there is plenty of discussion about Redbook audio in this forum, I can not determine if I am able to burn a Redbook compatible audio CD from within Audition CC 2017. I don't see a "burn CD" option in any menu, so I'm wondering if there is an export setting that I need to use.I found this info regarding CS6 that suggests Audition can burn Redbook audio CDs, but I don't see any reference within the application menus to confirm this:New features summary CD burningChoose File > New > CD Layout to assemble files you want to burn to Redbook-standard audio CDs. I made a recording yesterday of a DJ set for radio broadcast,  that is noticeably louder in one channel that the other by several db - What is the simplest and best way to master it /Fx it, so volume levels are more equally balanced please?Many thanksDD

I have a promo video for a non-profit. I've balanced the speech with the music for playback on a computer or TV, But would love a second version that can be played on a big soundsystem at crowded (read loud) events, where the speech is eq'd to stick out more be less muddy. Hello,I have some interview audio recordings that really need a fix. They were damaged by a faulty Tascam recorder and now I need to fix them in post. NOTE: THESE ARE NOT CLIPPED FILES.I tried diagnostics DeClipper but that was impertinent because they were recorded with perfect levels. The problem is not background noise, hiss, or anything like that, it is hard for me to identify. I don't have the language to describe the problem, but attempting to describe it I would say it sounds like a robotic/digitize sound effect was applied to the original file. I hear blips of high pitched "artifacts" in the file. It is almost as if the original bit rate of the file was too low.The best way to diagnose this would be if I send the a sample file to anyone who would like to help. I just need an email address. I am using Audition 2017.0 and trying to do an edit-audio-to-video multi-track session.  When  I get to the step of pulling my reference .mov file into the editing panel I get this message:  Adobe Audition has stopped working.  A problem caused the program to stop working correctly . Windows will close …..”Any tips on chasing down the underlying problem?

I am trying to add a transition between two audio files.  Not a fade in and out but some other type like the age old needle scratching on the recorder.  Can you point me in the right direction please?

I'm working on reducing noise on a podcast that was recorded at a local bar. I have been able to reduce the noise my capturing a sound print on each of the separate tracks and applying the reduction to the whole track. For some reason though one of the tracks with the guest of the podcast has a lot of background noise coming through. Whats strange is when I have his track selected for editing by selecting the .wav file from the file box in upper left hand corner the background noise seems to be reduced. I only hear a lot of the background noise coming from his track when I select the multitrack with all four tracks on it. Im new to audition and any help regarding how this could be happening would be very helpful.

When I record singing, or any audio, it changes the pitch and its lower than recorded.How do I fix this?Thankyou!

Selbs die Buttons in der Multitrack Ansicht sind nur noch Buchstaben - mit Hintergrund wenn aktiviert.Wann hört dieses unsägliche glatt hobeln von Oberflächen endlich auf?! Bei Audition jedenfalls ist nichts mehr von einer einst sehr schönen Benutzer Oberfläche übrig. Ich hoffe, irgendein Product  Manager liest diesen Beitrag...

Hi!So I have noticed the following odd thing.When I move the slider across the timeline then the levels top right and the audio that is played back are somehow "ahead" of the waveform.As you can see in this screenshot, the levels peak, while at that point in the waveform there should be 0db.Anyone an idea what is going on here?

Hi! I recently purchased Audition because I have an old Microcassette tape that needs to be restored. So, yes, I am new to Audition. My problem is the voice on the tape is hard to hear and hard make out what she is saying clearly. I have removed background noises using the spectral frequency filter (it works very good) and then amplified the voice to make it easier to hear. I was successful at removing the background interference but It is almost like the person is talking too fast. Is there a way to slow the voice down slightly? Or any ideas or tips or steps etc on how I should approach this restoration. I only have a week or so to figure it out. All help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I am using an audient ID14 mixer with audition. I set it up in audio hardware as Audient Audio USB ASIO Driver. I can see my levels when I speak into the microphone but when I press record it is not recording anything. Is there something else I need to set up too?

Could someone explain to me the proper settings for processing audio for broadcast on FM radio, Internet, & Archive (podcast)? I have bee using Adobe Audition for a while, but this software has so many bells & whistles that I am overwhelmed. I know how to remove dead air, splice files, & use normalization, but I'm a bit cloudy as far as what processing settings I should use before saving to .WAV or .MP3. I'm most concerned with keeping the level even, as I have to occasionally deal with 78RPM records that were recorded before modern audio processing was invented. Perhaps someone can help me with this, as I didn't have the luxury of going to radio school.

I am trying to download CS6.After I download the 2 files, I open the smaller file, and it goes thru part of setup, then stops and I have nothing.
