I'm trying to install my copy of audition on a new computer but am unable. Can you help?
Hello, I have recorded the vocal of the song by verses, 3 doubles of each. Then I selected and compiled the best pieces, but they sound rather different by timbre and loudness. I have applied the option Smooth Vocal, but it is still noticeable. Is there an option in Adobe where the vocal clips could be somehow smoothed by timbre? A sort of automatic equalization... If it can be done only manually - how could it be done?
Hi team , I am planning to do a Hollywood short film with LIVE RECORDING.Please advice me best MIC for live recording and how can we remove background sound from the recorded file . The dialogues must be hear clearly . Please help me RegardsShanu Jacob
First of all I should mention that while I've used other Adobe products extensively, I'm quite new to Audition and audio in general. What I'm trying to do is cancel out some background noise from some test audio I captured. I set up my Senheiser MKE 600 to capture the sounds of my feet while music was playing distantly in the background (I'm mimicking the scenario that will happen for a live dance video next week). I then recorded another file with the mic in the same position with the same music in the background, just without any other sounds/movements. I used Plural Eyes 3.5 to sync the audio, exported to Premiere Pro, then exported to Audition. I selected the track with just the background noise and inverted it. When I try to play both tracks back, there is no difference. I tried muting/unmuting the inverted background track as the sound FX track continued to play but there was absolutely no change. I tried the same thing in Audacity with the same results. From what I understand th
I have the new Adobe Audition (CC 2017) and experience the following problem. When I re-open a session sometimes some of the files have moved a bit. Which means that I always have to move the files to the right position when I re-open a session. Can anyone help me?
Is there a way to upload a song into Auditon, then have all the down beats marked automatically? Then take it into Premiere and have those marks shown?
Hello !My english's not very good at all (I'm french). I just finished recording a song on Adobe Audition CC 2017. And when I want to export the Mixdown Multitrack of it, it works well but when I go to the destination file to hear it, I just listen to the FIRST TRACK. I tried a lot of unsucceeded solutions ... Please, help me, cause before the uploading of CC 2017, it worked perfectly. Hope you'll find something to help me. I'm waiting for.Thank you very much for your answers !
Software: Adobe Audition CCInterface: PreSonus Audiobox 44VSLI am having an issue where I try to play bass along with a track that I just recorded in the system, but there's a lag between hitting the string and hearing the note. It's very slight, but it's enough to throw you off the track, making it impossible to record properly. Is there a way to fix this? It's driving me nuts!
My knowledge of Audition is pretty basic. I have been playing around with it for about a year, and I'm sure I can't do as much as 95% of the folks reading this post.I have a recording of a voice performer who lowered his voice a little at the end of a sentence. You can make out the words he is saying at the end, but they need a little boost. Is there an easy way for an idiot like me to give those last few words a boost without sounding too unnatural? All I would think I could do in that situation is gradually raise the levels at the end, but that sounds artificial. In case it matters, this is what the meter looks like. And this is what it sounds like.LISTENThanks.
Hi!So I have been using WDM with a PCIE sound card Asus Xonar Essence STX to record while playing games, however I keep getting dropped samples resulting in places distorted audio and ultimately audio that constantly goes out of sync. So I would like to use ASIO instead of WDM so that this doesn't happen anymore but I can't hear anything from my computer in regards to the game sounds while recording and Audition has control of the driver. Is it at all possible to not have it essentially mute my entire computer while recording?Otherwise I will have to stick with WDM and hope the audio isn't too screwed up. With WDM I have the microphone set as the master clock and everything across my system is set to 24bit 48KHz where possible.I have Soundbooth as well, does that suffer from the same issues?Cheers!
I loaded the Waves Platinum package into Audition and I'm having an issue with the plugin routing. When I use a plugin in the Wave Editor things work great. The effect is inserted and the effected track is what you hear. When you add a Wave Plugin to the Effects Box in Multi-track editor things are different - the original audio is heard on one channel and the effected signal is heard on the other channel (left vs right) and I cannot set the Plugin routing to play only the effected audio to both left and right channels. Mixing down a multi-track session with Waves plugins results in the same situation where the original signal is on one channel and the effected signal is on the other. The routing box for the plugin allows me to set the output correctly in the Wave Editor, but not the Multi-Track Editor Effects Box. Right now the only way I can use the plug-ins correctly is in destructive editing mode (Wave File Editor) and I cannot preview or mix while in Multi-track mode. I've tried s
For some time I've been experiencing weird behavior of loudness normalization. It appears that random files from normalized batch become silent or are being normalized by ridiculous amount of dB (like -200).This is the screen of random batch in normalization:After sorting the files by ITU loudness value, there are files without any loudness and are basically silent. You can see that there is no audio at all, but the length of the file is the same. But, when I boost the file by 200dB, it appears that there is in fact some audio left, but faded in at random point. These are just random speech files that I'm working with. The issue can also appear as just a fade-in at random point, without the -200dB gain or the files are completely silent (digital 0).I've tested this on different Mac, but the issues was still present. I've also tested it on files from different sources, that we're working fine with Audition CC 2015, but the issue remained.I have the newest Audition version which is 2017.0.2,
HiHope that you can help me..I'm using the Waves Gold Package of plugins.. I'm noticing that if I have chosen a particular plugin, it displays the actual plugin when I'm working.. however if I close the project, and return back to it, I have not indication as to what the setting I have used within that plugin ?It will (for example) tell me that I have used a C4 Mono plug-in.. However there are many different presents on this.. It tells me when I go back in, that it is a custom setting, however that's really no use to me.. Is there any reason why this is occurring ?Thankskarl.
Hi all,While I've been using Audition CC for my Voice Over biz I haven't gotten around to expediting a small part of my workflow, so, here's my question. Is there a preferences setting that would allow a marker, when created to be immediately editable without right-clicking on it and then clicking "rename" or mousing over to the "markers" tab and double clicking marker to open it for renaming? In Sony Vegas Pro when a marker is created it remains active and editable without having to click on it until you hit "return".It's a small thing but would speed up my editing process. Thanks for an assistance you can provide.iansvoice
I am trying to generate a specific sine wave to play on other devices. All I seem to be able to do is generate an effect or a filter. :-
So far I've had no problems using Adobe Audition for many years. But today I got the message 'Fatal Error Audition cannot access the documents folder''Nothing changed on my MacBook Pro (Early 2015) with MacOS Sierra (10.12.2)I have removed all preferences as suggested, restarted, re-installed the programme but nothing helped. How can I start Audition again?Hans
Hello all. Adobe Audition amateur here. I'm here to ask a question regarding the dynamics processing feature on Audition. I'm watching a tutorial that gives the viewers a screenshot for a preset. I've managed to almost recreate it, but there's one part that I can't seem to change and that is the threshold of the second segment. Here is a screenshot of the settings I want and the settings I have for reference: I've tried just about everything. Dragging the point in the lower left corner only changes the ratio and the type, but not the threshold. Google hasn't been much of a help, either. So does anyone know what the protocol is for changing that? Or should that number not even matter? Many thanks in advance!
On my computer CC 2015.0 (8.0.0.192) works perfectly in every way that I need. But from CC 2015.1 onwards (including CC 2017) Audition crashes when attempting to import any video file. Also, VST/VST3 plugins that require OpenGL also immediately crashes Audition later than version 8.0.0.192, giving the message that my GPU does not support OpenGL 2.0 (which in fact it does). As said, in version 8.0.0.192 these problems do not exist and everything works perfectly.I assume this is OpenGL driver related, so what has changed? Why does Audition suddenly no longer think that my computer supports OpenGL?
hii'm running audition cc 2017 last built on windows 10 pro 64bitis there a way to add more effects in the batch processing?i see i can use only 1 favorite for each timei would like to normalize , equalize and fade in and outi have a bunch of files and i would love to do it with 1 batch processing and not 4 , one for fade in , the second for equalize , fade out and finaly normalizecan i do all of them with only 1 batch processing?thanks
I have a multitrack session with six tracks and a stereo master track. Each track (including the master) has an Audio Unit plugin effect, and the six audio tracks have the "pre-render" box checked. The session is just over 30 minutes long. When I select "Export > Entire Session..." and try to export as 44.1kHz, 16-bit Stereo (the original session is 48kHz, 32-bit Stereo), the render time estimates that it will be approximately one hour! If I instead choose to "Mixdown to New File", the render time is approximately one-third of this.Is exporting an entire session broken? I'm currently using Audition 2017.0.2 but have experienced this problem going all the way back to the 2015 versions. Even the shorter, 20-minute mixdown seems excessively long for the amount of processing being done.
Dear All,I convert an old 90min audio cassette tape into a .wav file. Now I am trying to burn this .wav file into an 90min (800MB) disc. The .wav file is about 89mins total with CD track markersWhen trying to burn the CD I receive a message telling me that I’m not allowed to burn a disc longer than 78 minutes.I already have 90min discs (800MB) and also my CD-R drive supports over burning. Is there any way or option to bypass this message and over burn the CD?I am using the Adobe Audition CC 2017Thanks in advanced!
Hey, I'm new to Audition. So far I have been using a stereo source and track in audition. Then I export stereo and the .wav is only playing out of the right channel. Probably an easy fix, just new and don't know what to do.In headphones it plays stereo. When I play it back for editing, the speakers are playing it from both channels. After export it doesn't play stereo. Any help would be appreciated!
I just got a new Microsoft Surface Book. I had been doing my work on my ASUS laptop. Both are running Windows 10. ASUS running Audition 2015 version. Surface Book running Audition 2017. I can access my old sessions. I can play older wav and mp3 files on Surface Book. But when I record, I get garbled audio. I used MME in ASUS and everything was fine. Tried MME and ASIO4All in Surface Book and got garbled audio in both. Any ideas what might be going on? The only difference I can see is in Audition, 2015 vs 2017. HELP!!!
Hi, I wanna add some effects in adobe audition and it works for the selected area, but how can I make this effect "growing up" in the start, slowly ending at the end of the selected area. I wanna make it more "smooth" when effect is coming up, and when its going downTo precise it more, I dont wanna have that aggresive transition between selected section (where i put effect) and rest of the song:
Where is the option to disable the "release ASIO driver in background" functionality? This is a new install, and I haven't used Audition in a couple years. The whole audio engine dropping out and having to reinitialize every time I switch focus to another program is obviously making Audition unusable. Was there a recent change? am I doing something wrong? or is there another reason I'm not seeing this option in the settings window on my computer? (Audition build 10.0.1.8)Thanks for the help.
