I have on my Win-10 based laptop, beweset Audition a 25-tracks project and when I play it back, then randomly on some tracks (bass / piano / etc) a light noise appears and the original sound is gone. The playhead moves forwardWhen I replay the part by moving the playhead back, then the sound is thereAudio-specs: in and output are the sameWhen I export, then the noise and lack of track-suond is always on the same place of the exported fileIt's an onboard MIME soundcardDrivers and Audition are up tio dateLaptop is restartedI clicked with my heelsNo other programs are active Can this be caused by the VST plugins that I use?
The timer when I start recording a voice recording doesn't work like its supposed to instead of being like a normal timer that starts at 00:00:000 and goes up as I start recording it just stays frozen and slowly moves up or it dosnent move up at all. how can I fix this?
Okay, so 2 questions. I'm pretty new to the whole audio editing life so I'm not to sure how to fix somethings. When I upload some audio it doesn't show as a single track. It comes up as two with a L on one and a R on the other. I'm assuming that is for Left and Right. When editing it makes it kind of difficult because the audio doesn't always match up. Is there a way to make it just a single track for editing purposes or is that is how it is? Second question, when I'm editing and putting plug-ins into my audio only the L track is being affected but the R stays untouched for some reason. How do I fix that so both the L and the R audio adjust to the plug-in?
I've been using Audition for nearly a year without fail for my intro to voiceover work, mainly recording and teaching myslef how to edit and set up. About 4 or 5 months ago, due to an addition to our family, I had to take down my booth and stop. I got everything back up and running about 30 days (or so) ago, recorded acouple of time without any issues, haven't had much booth time. Now all of a sudden, yesterday, I go in to the booth and my recordings are bork. I can get a good 5ish seconds of recording but the the app just spazzes out, picks up a half second here and there of audio. I can hit record for a couple of minutes and end up with under 5 seconds of absolute garbage. https://youtu.be/aHUaS0p0dLs for example. settings are (under audio hardeware) as follows Device class: MMEdef input: hyperx quadcast (same micI've been using this whole time def output: headphones (again same as always)Latency: 500sample rate: (set to) 48000 Hz if I change the device class
Hi. I'm working on a podcast and I have doubts about when to apply Match Loudness. Considering that volume levels on the multitrack session are consistent, should I apply it to each track individually or leave to the end an apply it to the mix on the whole? Thanx!
Equipo y comunidad me pueden orientar por favor acerca de como usar, grabar en formato midi en la app de audition 3.0 o bien las cs 6.0? Gracias de antemano por leer mi mensaje
I got a new plug in today and am trying to get it to install, but anytime I bring up the plug in manager and ask it to scan, it just sits and does nothing. I can't cancel out of it and have to force quit the program - Does anyone have ideas? Most updated AuditionWindows 11
I've got an HP laptop with a 11th gen i7 2.8gHz processor, 32 GB RAM, running Windows 10 and Audition 2022. I'm noticing that when I have a large number of tracks (music) or a very long project with a lot of automation (lectures) I start to have issues where it takes awhile to do any singular action like moving the cursor, or setting new keyframe points for volume automation. I pre-render tracks which helps, but on projects pushing over an hour, or over 10 tracks (which includes bus tracks) it takes awhile for the processing to catch up. Is there anything else I can do to make the program run more smoothly? The actual processing load on my CPU isn't that high. I'm creating projects at 48kHz and 32-bit float, which I know creates a larger file.
Hello community, I am new to using Audition.I am trying to apply voice-over to a video that I am creating. The theme of the video is Lord of the Rings and therefore, I want to record an audio in the voice of the opening narration by Kate Blanchett in the Lord of the Rings (Fellowship of the Ring). I have taken a sample of Blanchett's voice from the movie and I have written down my narrative as well. What would be the best approach to achieve this?
Vielen Dank, Luise
Hi guys, Quick note: I copied and pasted this post and made a few tweaks for my own set-up as the OP hit every single point I was going to write. I run a Dell XPS 15 (2018) 1TB SSD 32 GB RAM 64-bit Windows 10 operating system and a Nvidia GTX 1050i that offloads 8g of RAM if need be, and I'm having trouble recording my podcast. I usually have my laptop connected to a Kensington sd5300dt dock via USB-C and the dock also has a 4K monitor connected to it via HDMI. In terms of audition, I record in multitrack mode, and I'm usually recording myself and 2 other hosts on my Presonus Audiobox 1818 VSL. What I usually do is I open the audio hardware, change the drive to ASIO and then find the Presonus for the output and input. Then I arm each track onto a Mono track Line 1, 2 and 3. I put my computer in airplane mode last time to see if it would make any difference, and it didn't... it still stopped recording a few times during a one hour conversation. It has
Hope this forum allows the attached mp3. If not, will try to post it on a file locker.. I want to lower the pitch of a computer generated male voice - to make it deeper sounding and looking for a fix to the metallic like echo that doesnt change the volume. MP3 quality is fine for this purpose. Ran original file through Effects/Time and Pitch/Stretch and Pitch Process, and changed stretch to 90% and Pitch Shift to -3 Semitones. Don't have the latest Audition, hopefully your fix will work for older versions... Played around with many effects, and watched a vid or two but not finding the answer...
Hey! I just experienced a pretty bad issue. I'd been working on a file for the last few days, an episode of my podcast, and my computer has a crashing issue I'm currently trying to sort out. Up until now, that wasn't much of an issue in working on Audition files, I just saved regularly and it all worked out. After the last crash however, it gave me the error message above, "this file is either corrupt or using an unsupported format". If there is a way to save the file, that would save my week. Can anyone help? I'm using CS 6 if that helps.

I am a beginner and I am trying to record my paino and have all the set up correct and can record sound, however there are loud cracks. And they are happening even when I am not playing any notes on the piano. Could it be the cord I am recording with? Any help please! Attached photo is a recording of silence.
In the older Adobe Audition 1.5 I can select multiple clips by holding ctrl and dragging with the left mouse button. Even when I let go of the mouse button (if Im still holding the ctrl button) I can pick back up and contine dragging to highlight other clips as shown in the video. In the newer Adobe Auditon, If I hold ctrl to drag/highlight clips it won't let me. I can only hold ctrl and click certain clips. I would really love the solution to this because its a very helpful tool and speeds up the process when tryint to copy/past multiple clips in a chorus. ESPECIALLY after I already sliced up the tracks so now there's alow of clips. Thanks
After rendering my audio file with many effects on the multitrack I cannot hear the sound. But when I remove the render I can hear the sound. Please help me?

Hello, I have just recently started using Audition CC 2015 to record guitar and vocal tracks. I recorded a session using my laptop and would now like to transfer it to my desktop, however I am struggling. I have tried exporting the audio in an .sesx file (including the audio tracks), however when I import them into my Desktop's version (the same edition), I am met with older tracks I've previously recorded and none of the new files are showing up. I have manually selected the files in the pop up window that came when I opened the .sesx file, but that didn't work. Could somebody please help me to open my project on the new PC? Is there a way of completely removing older tracks (I have tried uninstalling and deleting the Adobe folder). Thanks.
Hello, I use Adobe Audition to mix my microphone audio live, but when I start Audition with my preset recording is enabled, but Monitor input is toggled off. That makes problems, I didn't have this issue on the older versions. How can I do that? Thanks for help.
Suppose to be a issue. The zoom in shortcut on the menu says * sign, on the zoom panel says + sign and in waveform neither of them work.
[PLEASE BE NICE! I really am trying to learn this. Please give specific instructions and reference material and don't dismissively refer me to "go find a tutorial" as many do. If such tutorials worked, or even actually existed (without needing some "only experienced people already know" search terms), then I'd not be asking for help.] Windows 11 (latest update) + latest Adobe CC 2023 versions (not-beta). I'm trying to use text-to-speech in Audition, but in a singing style as I've read is possible. First problem is that any of the [[commands]] don't work. They get read back as text. The next problem is that I'm not getting new voices to show up. I've followed instructions for downloading them for Windows 11, and while they do show up in Windows settings, they don't show up with Audition. What's worse is that their appearing in Audition is inconsistent within Audition itself. And why are some of the menus unusable? They're obviously supposed to be (or they'd not be there would
Hi all,Here's an issue that's proving a bit elusive, both in product documentation and what I can find in forums. We produce a syndicated radio show and one of the networks we run on requires "Sponsor reads," where in addition to the regular program content the host has to say "From the Blankety-Black Studios, THIS is the [name of show]" and also needs to work in a promotional mention here and there. But there is ALSO a generic version of the show for international broadcast (and for posterity) that omits these elements. The added elements add about 20 seconds in total to a 47:50 broadcast hour. The obvious way to do it is to create the generic version, copy the session file, add the custom elements to the copy, then use global multitrack stretch to scale the hour from 48:10 or so with the added elements back to 47:50 (nobody but the most talented of musicians would ever notice the pacing change by shoe-horning 20 seconds of additional content into 47:50). But si
The display window for effects don't seem to be in sync with what is being played either in the waveform or multitrack view. For example, when I'm using a DeEsser, if I were to play with the DeEsser opened, the audio being played doesn't show up in the display window (where the frequency span is shown) until a second afterwards, almost like what's being shown in that display window is delayed. I don't think this is a latency issue as everything still sounds fine, it's just annoying when trying to figure out where the sibilances are and not being able to accurately find it because the actual display is delayed by half a second or so. Any idea if this is a bug or if there's a way to fix that in the preferences?
