I just logged into bridge this morning and the constrain crop check box does bring the crop down to the image borders. The transparent pixels are not clipped away. How to fix this?
Have installed Photoshop CS6 and in using Bridge I get the message "Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. Please try purging the central cache in Cache Preferences to correct the situation". If purge the central cache as instructed, on the start up of Bridge I get the same message and are unable to use Bridge.I am on a Mac using OSX 10.7.4Your help will be appreciated
Is there any way you going to fix that? It takes hours to generate previews of the Nikon z8 files.Noone can work like that. Are there any information about when is that problem is going to be fixed? have you find the issue?
I cull my images in Bridge and my workflow used to be 1) open the image from Bridge, 2) adjust in Camera Raw, 3) further edit in Photoshop, 4) Save PSD as the same file name as the .NEF from the camera, 5) save a JPG also with the same file name. Now for some reason, after making my adjustments in Camera Raw, when it opens in Photoshop, it adds a "-1" to the file name when it never used to. Now when I save the PSD, I have to remember to go in and edit the "-1" out of the file name. How do I shut that off?
Hello, whenever i start Adobe Bridge, i get this error message: “Bridge has detected an issue with the display driver and disabled GPU rendering that uses the graphics hardware. Restart Bridge to get the best experience. Visit the manufacturer's website for the latest software.”(Roughly translated) I have two MacBook Pros with the exact same configuration (same model, same hardware specs, same OS version, same Adobe versions), but the error only appears on one of the two MacBooks. So my first thought was that there might be a hardware problem with one of the two MacBooks, but the Apple diagnostic tools says there are no problems. What i tried so far:Updating Bridge to the latest versionReinstalling Bridge completelyRun the Apple diagnostic tool: No errors But the error persists. All other Adobe software that i'm using (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Lightroom) is working as expected. My system specs (on both devices):MacBook Pro, 14", 2021Apple M1 Pro16
I have a macbookpro m3 pro with a second screen lg. When I review a photo in bridge using the second screen the zoom fail like the image above, distorting the image, but when I am using the integrated screen run well. I am using 2560 x 1440 at 60 hertz. I tried changing to 75 hertz but the zoom screen fail too.
Whenever I delete a file on my desktop with brdige, it multiplies that file with the image name, I need to close and open it again, if I keep deleting it continues to create a huge amount of copies of that same filehow fix it?
Whenever I use the batch rename workflow, Bridge creates appropriately renamed duplicates of my files leaving me with twice as many files and having to go back and manually delete the original files that I ran the workflow on. I saw this old thread from many years back, but not sure what to do now given current state of the app. https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge-discussions/bridge-batch-rename-is-creating-more-copies-of-the-same-file/m-p/9236085#M6231. Please help! Thanks!
I am currently using Bridge v 14.1.0.257 and it is very slow to load and generate thumbnails for my Nikon z9 and z8 RAW files. Also, the program is only accessing my on board Intel UHD GPU and not my Nvidia RTX 3060. The process is so slow that the program is freezing up and sometimes Blue screening the PC. I'm useing a 11th gen intel i7 -11800 @ 2.30GHz. Need some suggestions of where to go from here to help speed up Adobe Bridge and get it to load these thumbnail files faster with out crashing. Thank youMark
I do not understand why you cannot come up with something similar to Breeze Browser Pro that can be used on an Apple computer in conjunction with Photoshop. I am a photographer and deal with a lot of images and find the processes of Bridge and Apple to be extremely cumbersome. You are the greatest company in the world in solving photography problems, but this is one you do not have a good handle on.
Hellow Community, i need to finde a solution to store files of a department to be used with Adobe Brigde. There are 10 Designers using Bridge to browse through the files and do whatever they do (i am not a designer). They have arround 3TB of files. All kinds o filetypes mixed in this directory. At the moment these files are spread across Sharepoint-Online Document-Libraries and synced through OneDrive. When the designers go through the files, OneDrive needs to download all the files to show a preview. Unfortumately i can not find any documentation on how to store files for an entire department. How are other companies handling this?I do not believe they use local hard drives. At least i hope so.Preferable a cloud storage solution. I am greatful for every hint.Greetings Peter.
I’ve never owned an apple product so I don’t know how this might appear on a Mac. It would be interesting to hear from those customers to see if it runs through their installations as well. I remember stumbling across this undocumented “feature” by keystroke accident years ago. I explored it and found it poorly conceived and therefore of little use. It was easy to ignore since it was hard to discover and didn’t intrude on regular production workflows. I forgot about it until earlier this year when it started to get in my way while attempting to exploit the new KBSC feature. Here is how the undocumented feature used to behave before the introduction of the custom KBSC feature. Try it in whatever version you’re using and confirm please. In the folders panel, Select a folder with known subfolders and files.Select View>Show Items from subfolders.Shift focus to a folder or file in the content panel.Press any non-assigned, single alpha-numeric
Anyone else see this problem? If I have a parent folder selected and I choose this from the [View] menu- Bridge always gives the error message and shuts down- I don't understand Reports. Restarting Bridge doesn't change the problem. Bridge 14.0.2 Windows-11
Every time i open the adobe Bridge in my desktop, theres a lot of files from windows like Control Panel, Libraries, Home, Music... and the folder Pictures duplicate every time i do an Alt+tab. How to get rid of them?(Ive already tried to use the "reject" but it doesnt work on majority of them)
I would like to be able to write certain metadata for each image in a folder to a text file. I would like to see the filename, lens name, f/stop, shutter speed, focal length and ISO for each image.I was a programmer at one time but that was a long time ago so I asked Gemini to write a Bridge script to access EXIF data. Once that was working I planned to further customze the script output, again with the hhlep of Gemini or Bing AI but it produces an error each time I try to open Bridge with the new script installed. After several rewrites, some of which had the return statement in dfifferent locations, that statement always prodiuced an error. The Javascript iis below:+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++function extractEXIFDataToText(folderPath, filename) {// Build the ExifTool commandvar exifToolCmd = "C:\Users\&&&&&\Downloads\exiftool -csv -overwrite_original -quiet " + folderPath + " -Model -CreateDate -ExposureTime -FNumber -ISOSpeed -FocalLength -WhiteBalance -Ca
When I convert a photoshop file to jpeg in bridge workflow, the file comes out larger than when I convert the same photoshop file to jpeg manually. Anyone know why this is happening?
My idpad's screenshots save as jpegs, and so do images that I save from Smartist. They open in Photoshop but Bridge will not display them, nor show them in the Preview panel so I have open them in Photoshop to see what they are. Jpg and Jpeg file types are both associated with Photoshop in Bridge. I can preview them perfectly in Windows File Manager but it's Bridge I want to view them in. Altering the file extension to jpg does not help. Also, is there a way to rename individual files in Bridge? I've only found Batch Rename which I don't want.
Some of my saved images aren't showing up in Bridge. The image is either totally blank or have a PSD icon placeholder or some other generic placeholder. I've looked through Preferences but don't see anything that would make a difference. For the ones that are blank, when I'm scrolling through they appear momentarily until I stop scrolling, but then disappear.
Impossible d'accéder aux photos de mon disque dure externe et du contenu de mon bureau, une fois Bridge ouvert. De la version 13.0 à la version 14.0 ??? n'y a il que moi avec ce problème ? Merci Unable to access photos from my external hard drive and desktop contents once Bridge is open. From version 13.0 to version 14.0 ??? Is only me with this problem ? Thanks
Die Bridge startet nicht für normale User, erst mit Adminberechtigung lässt sie sich öffnen, Das ist doch nicht korrekt, oder?Win 11 und Creative Suite
I have an OM Systems (Olympus) OM-1 Mark I camera. I am having issues with it changing dates in Adobe Bridge's app with the Date Created under the image file. During a shoot of successive shots as viewed in Bridge, the date goes back and forth from the correct dates to future dates i.e. shot on 2024-05-07 but shots will sometimes show as shot 2024-05-11 and with different times. Camera date field only has Date Created showing and they are correct for the date shot. I have been working with OM System technical team and they can't find a problem with the camera so they want me to contact Adobe. Apple's Finder app tends to show the same dates/times as Bridge. This is not always happening as on some days all the date/time metadata shows the same in Camera, Bridge and Finder. The odd thing is that OM Systems OM Workspace app shows the correct dates/times for all 3 date data fields - go figure! Is anyone having similar problems like this with the Date fields in Bridge? I really rely on Bridg
Hi - I am in need of Adobe Bridge 2022 version 12.0.2.252 or 9.0.3. I have scripts writing that are compatible with this version or lower. The current versions of Bridge are not compatible with the scripts I have written. Thanks!
The latest Bridge version (14.1.0.257) offers keyword searching using an "AND" operator but Adobe did not give any examples of how to use it. There has always been the functionality to search using mulitple operators and different metadata but combining more than two of them was very limited.Does anyone know how to use this feature?
Hi! Is there a script to find and replace a word in all of the fields of the metadata at the same time?
Hey there! I've been trying to optimize my workflow with the worklow-feature from bridge for a month now.For my work i have to produce a lot of different image versions with various formats and resolutions, sometimes with title treatment, sometimes without but always with a specific filename for ingesting in our CMS.Here are the problems i'm experiencing so far:>>> First of all im encountering a bug when scaling images while changing the aspect ratio, instead of cropping the image acordingly to the new aspect ratio, it just exports me 1px of height no matter what i do.I found this bug appears in 2024 and 2023 Version, but not in 2022 Version. Therefore im using the 2022 Version of Bridge, but it would be nice to have that fixed in a future update.>>> Then i'm running into the maximum Limit of queued workflow jobs quite fast, is it possible to raise that limit? At the Moment im working on a TV Series that has 16 Episodes, with around 10 picture alterations for eac
