Hello,I have quite irritating problem with Adobe Bridge CC ver. 9.0.2.219x64. Some of PSD thumbnails previews files are not available. Instead of previews there are icons only. I have tried to change names of files and save those ones with different names etc. and still there are no previews visible but icons. At the same time other PSD files form the same session are OK and previews are available. Please see attached print screen.I very much appreciate good advice how to solve this irritating problem.  

I want to use Adobe 1998 as my working color space in all my Adobe Cloud applications (Photoshop, Camera Raw, Bridge, InDesign.) I have that set up in Photoshop, but get the warning that my color settings are not synced. I go to Bridge to synchronize them there, but Bridge only offers synchronization settings for CMYK (newspapers and other press work) or "Monitor." What do I need to do?

Hi,I just loaded about 1300 images from a recent trip into Bridge and I realized that the date stamp "Date Created" in the exif and metadata is not correct.  I'm still trying to figure out how the date in my camera changed, but the time stamp on every image is off a few months and 4 years.  The date in my camera was Januray 2014, ugh.  But the question remains, is it possible to change the date and in a batch style?  I'm not worried about the time, but I would like to have the correct date showing under the "File Properties" section.  Please help?Many thanks,Ruth

I've seen a lot of discussions about the keyboard shortcuts in Bridge 2024, but can't seem to find anything specific to this. Previously, Command+D could be set to navigate to the desktop but in this current version it is set to duplicate. Totally fine, I was going to create a new shortcut in the customization toolbar—but I can't find any command that will navigate to the desktop that I could even assign to any keyboard combo. It's totally possible that I'm just not seeing that desktop option, but I've dug through each and every command in the list. Is that command completely gone from shortcut options? It's messing with my workflow.

This is very frustrating. I can't even rename a file. I only have Bridge open, I both tried to click the file name and right click>rename file.Adobe Bridge warning pops up:The process cannot access the files because it is being used by another process.I've experienced this with Windows with the preview pane having "access" to the file but even if I close the preview pane, it still doesn't work.Help.

The later versions of Bridge keeps regenerating thumbnails every time the Bridge app window gets into focus. It has been like this for a while (used to be OK, not quite sure when this error was introduced). I have been hoping this would be fixed, but no luck so far. Here is a repeatable sequence that will show this problem: 1) Select a smart collection in Bridge (workspace Filmstrip used)In my case the collection targets a folder with 13 sub-folders (looking for files with one or more stars) holding the following file types:    .acr: 6 files   .CR2: 6274 files   .dng: 400 files   .psd: 2415 files   .xmp: 6274 files    TOTAL: 15369 files 2) Wait until things stabilize (no more activity generated by Bridge) 3) Place any (other) program window on top of the Bridge window 4) Observe that Bridge is still quiet 5) Remove (like minimize) the window now on top so that the Bridge window is fully

Hi, I have been batch renaming files, but while doing so, I had to overwrite on my files multiple times and now i am unable to find the original filename which the camera had assigned at the time that the image was taken. While renaming multiple times, I had not realised that the original camera filename will be overwritten. An example of a camera filename is DSC1001. I tried looking into the File info > Raw Data and couldnt find it. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I have this PNG file exported from AI. It's a design with colours. I exported with ' Export > Export As'.  Why is the color mode in Bitmap and there is no dimension data? A month ago with the same export method, I would have the metadata showing the colour mode sRGB with Dimensions (in inches) and Dimensions (in cm).  Anything to do with the recent update? I am already on the updated version.  Please help.

I have restarted - my programs are up to date - but I cannot label or star my images - any suggestions?

I don't recall an update happening, but all of a sudden I can't view thumbs nor previews in Bridge 2024 v 12-0-4-286, which is obviously crushing my productivity. But it seems only for footage shot on a DJI Mini 3, as I CAN view thumbs/previews for all other MP4 footage (see attached screenshot). Suggestions?  

I have reported this before, but here is the visual proof: Bridge 14 at times shows the wrong path in the address bar. It is worth noting that the first displayed path (a search result path) wasn't used before today. It must be some older, cached entry from some previous session.Please don't ask me to send in files or to look at my system. Hallo zusammen,mir ist bei den neuen Bridge Versionen aufgefallen, dass Bilder bei gezoomter Vollbildansicht sich nur sehr langsam bewegen lassen. In früheren Versionen hat sich das Bild vollkommen synchron zur Maus bewegt, jetzt hängt das Bild hinterher. Gibt es dafür eine Einstellung, die ich übersehen habe, oder ist das ein neues "Feature", das sich nicht ändern lässt? Vielen Dank und schöne Grüße

Hi community,i've tried everything but i can't find the correct sollution for my very specific problem.Our client uses a naming guideline for their files.For some reason they've added the country code to the end of the file name.For my work i need it in the front but also i need a rule to reverse it when i want to deliver the files.For exampleFile name is:ADOBE-12345_summer20_TestTest_carousel_All_All.pngFile name should be:All_All_ADOBE-12345_summer20_TestTest_carousel.pngCan someone help me with a step by step guide on how to set the rules to achieve that.And also another set of rules on how to change the naming back for delivery.Thank you!Alan

Hi!Ich have around 9000 photos organized in my Lightroom Library.Now I'd like to start working with keywords for the photos to make searching/filtering easier, so I want to apply keywords to all my existing photos as well. I find it easier to keyword photos in Bridge but I don't know if it is possible to transfer the keywords from Bridge to the Lightroom Library. They're the identical files of course, but the keywords don't appear automatically in Lightroom after I've set them in Bridge. Is it possible to transfer these keywords or do I need to re-import all the photos via drag-and-drop from Bridge to Lightroom?Thanks!

Bridge2023 and Bridge(Beta) abnormally consume application memory. This issue frequently occurred with the 2023 version, and it seems to persist in Bridge(Beta), even when simply launching it with no windows open. The attached images show 244GB and 78GB of SWAP being used. The BridgeBeta version consumes up to about 330GB of application memory, and a warning was issued from MacOS. I'm unsure what triggers this. I don't want to create swap files, so when this happens, I have no choice but to reboot. As a result, I'm running a script that checks the memory usage every 5 minutes and terminates or executes the 'kill -9' command if it exceeds 20GB. It's quite bothersome. My system environment is a Mac (M1 ULTRA) running MacOS Ventura version 13.5, with 128GB RAM.  

Since updating to Bridge 2024 - while in the Essentials work space on my MacBook Pro Ventura 13.4 , the file names sometimes appear under my images and then sometimes they don't.  It seems very buggy.   I have looked through the workspace options and all the buttons on the UI but I don't see anything about showing file names.   Does anyone have any help with this

How come I can't see my photo tags anywhere else?

I tried unzipping several large archives at once. Bridge got stuck at 22%. I had to cancel and use other tools. Can't Bridge use multicore-enabled open-source Zip tools? My hardware / RAM can hardly be the bottleneck (64 GB).Looking at the screenshot, it seems, that Bridge has reduced my multi-selection to just one archive – but could not chew it either. Archives that large are very common when sharing PSD files. 

Adobe Photo Downloader unable to read files from memory card on my Mac.Recognises the card but just gives the following; "This device does not contain any supported media"I'm using a Mac OS Monterey 12.6 and Nikon D850 camera. XQD memory card and reader connected via USB. All was fine until I updated Photoshop to v24.0 and Bridge to v15.0.Have reset preferences and purged caches as suggested in other posts but to no avail. Help! 

I have re-purposed some code I found on this forum for creating a subfolder automagically but there is one little tidbit I cannot figure out how to code correctly. The goal is to grab a selection of RAW images, and create a folder with the name of the first image selected and move the images into it. I have functional code that does all of that, but I cannot figure out how to grab the name of the first file for the folder name. Is there a way to add or edit the metadata on graphics files in CC Libraries?  I have some shared libraries of logos and graphics, and I'd like them to have titles and descriptions so that when I place them in Indesign I can use the XMP/IPTC metadata as alt text. This works fine with graphics files I have locally, I just add the metadata in Bridge, but when I bring up a CC Library in Bridge I don't see any way to add or edit the metadata of the files.

I just updated both Bridge (v. 13.0) and Photoshop (v. 24.0.1) and Bridge does not provide the Image Processor/Photoshop option. I uninstalled it and have tried other versions. I have been working on this for hours on two different Windows computers and my Mac, to no avail. ADOBE, FIX THIS RIDICULOUS ISSUE! WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!!!!!

Just updated to Bridge 2022. And duess what???  It now takes forever to load the images thumbnail whenever I would go into a folder. I'd used Task Manager to kill the app. I'd open Bridge again. It would display the thumbnail of the last folder without issues but when I go into another folder again, it would take forever to display the thumbnail images again. Quite frustrating.

I try all 2023, 2024 & beta version of Br, but all of them need to force quit finall bcos of the memory problems, it s there any solution for that?I wait 2 months already but seems nothings improved after few times updatingi need to use Br usually, this issue really annoying.
