Bridge

Bridge 14.02 will not display thumbnails or previews of RAW files (.RW2). When I double-click on a RAW file in Bridge the file opens and can be edited in Photoshop Elements 2024 without a problem, but Bridge will not display thumbnails or previews. Both Bridge and Elements have been uninstalled and reinstalled, but that has not fixed the problem.

In lr I can select several files and copy for it some settings (exposure, wb etc) with sync button.Can I that one in Adobe Bridge?I don't know how right ask a question in google about it. adobe bridge sync - not best idea for google.

I used to delete a file in bridge and it went in my recycling bin, now it's just gone? This is not ok. Is there any potential fix? Thank you.

macOS Sonoma 14.2.1Bridge 2024 14.0.2.191 In some recent versions, there seems to be a problem with sequential numbering when renaming duplicate file names.When I try to rename, the process stops with the name converted to intermediate file names.

I recently had to reinstall Adobe Bridge. I used to have the capability to export selected metadata using a function labeled "Metadata" which was located in the area of Tools, Window, Help. Today, I can no longer find the plugin / script that did that.I did find the options listed athttps://prepression.blogspot.com/2016/08/extracting-metadata-to-csv.htmlNone of them looked like what I wanted.I did try Adobe Bridge Script – Extract Metadata, by Paul RiggottIt installed to an older version of Bridge on my computer and made it so the newest version had to be uninstalled and then reinstalled. The Paul Riggott version does look like something I've used in the past.Did the latest version of Bridge make all metadata export options no longer valid?

Since ver 14 Bridge on MacBook Pro will not open conflict presents the inability to open, close or uninstall. Grrrr.

Please see image. I am running Bridge 14.0.2.191 with no updates available.Everytime I download a new file, create a new folder, or add anything new to my downloads folder while viewing in Bridge, it shows multiple copies of the same file.If I click out of downloads via a favorite and click back in, these duplicates disappear.They are not file duplicates - there is only one file that exists. It is just a visual glitch.In the image, you can see 7 pipeline folders. In actuality, there is only 1.  Showing are 4 2024 OLG Randall redo; in actuality, there is only 1. Please advise?

Hello I have an Apple Mac Mini M2 Pro with Sonoma 14.3.1 OS (but I think the OS is not important ...)The Mac Mini M2 Pro is a strong machine, but the Adobe Bridge is slow ang laggy ... The menu (main menu, or right click menu) is low FPS (I see the aminmation, need to wait to open, etc) ... I checked the Activity Monitor and the Bridge use 230-300% CPU ALL THE TIME! and 2.5% GPU ... Adobe Photoshop use 0.9% CPU and 0% GPU ... So the Bridge application is slowly and not funny to use it ... I feel that the UI render is less then 10 FPS Do you have any idea anybody how can fix this issue? Thank you!

Bridge 2022 installed. Everything works. Only my external hard drive appears in the menu, but Bridge does not show me the contents. Worked fine with 2021 version. Did I forget a hook somewhere?

Adobe rushed from prerelease 14.0.2.174 to beta 14.0.2.181, to public update 14.0.2.191 in only a handful of weeks.  I was just getting ready to post my beta performance observations when the public update 14.0.2.191 was dropped.  I had to start over again after wasting hours evaluating the beta. My report will be in two parts.  The second part regarding the workspace conversions will be posted here in a few days when I can find the time to finish it. One bright light is that the filter lag that I demonstrated here ,  appears very much improved, though not quite as responsive as Br 12. Hi I am running the latest OS (MAC) and the latest Build of Bridge A Macbook Pro M1 and an Ipad 12 pro  But wenn i try to put a second window onto the ipad (in ps too) the Os is preventing me from doing so.  Is this by design?  Are we not allowed to work with an ipad wenn we are traveling?  I tested it on Premiere Pro and it works. I can se the preview on the ipad and the timeline on the macbook.  Can we get some consistancy on this throughout the Adobe App universe.  It makes me mad that some things work and other don´t. I could understand this if it where 1993 but we are using dual or more monitor a long time now.  How can this not be spotted in the beta testing?  cheers Peter 

For our company with around 10 employees, we are looking for a solution to tag our picutres to make the search for the pictures easier. I saw that Bridge might be an option with the shared cache. We tried that but the function to import the shared cache is not displayed as in the user manual in Adobe Bridge 2024.  Can anyone help me with how this works with the shared cache in combination with Sharepoint? Here are two screenshots of the settings. Thank you very much in advance for your help 🙂  

Anyone having this probelm? Bridge 13.06  is Locking up on Windows 11, version 22H2We unistalled Bridge 14.0.2 Because it keeps crashing. 

You can see I have two files with "edge" in their names and  Ctrl+F menu doesn't find anything.  In fact it doesn't work at all.  With any search parameter.    Then in other folder it works just fine.    Moreover it worked in this same folder a week ago.      What am I missing?     I have this unreliable behaviour for years.    ps.   I renamed  the folder , re-opened Bridge  and Find works just fine.  Re-named the folder back to original name   and it's still working.    It's a weird  fix  but works at least .  Still wonder why?  And how can I make it work without all those extra troubles ?

Never see this in 20 years using Bridge.  The external HD was not move or renamed. Still added all fodlers again so back in Favorites.Then few days later same thing all folders get this. Yet again nothing moved or renamed. 

How do I put the address bar back at the top of the window?When I go to Window and check and uncheck PathBar, the highlighted element loads / unloads: Where do I grab to but the folder's address at the top of the window?Thanks!

Non ci sono stati aggiornamenti ma i file sviluppati in Camera Raw non si aprono più in Photoshop. Ho provato sia con CR2 che DNG, quando clicco su Apri non succede nulla e Camera RAW si chiude.Se salvo il file in JPG o TIFF dopo, da Bridge, lo posso aprire direttamente in Photoshop.Avevo avuto un errore di CPU e Camera RAW non funzionava più, dopo un riavvio del computer, Camera RAW è tornato normale, però non mi apre più i file in photoshop. Registra i dati di sviluppo ma non passa in Photoshop

Hi, I have been using Lightroom as a catalogue to keyword and quickly find/view images. These keywords are only written to the catalogue and not to the actual image metadata. I would like to be able to use Bridge to search by keyword and quickly find/view these images. I have tried using the dropdown in Lightroom (see screenshot), this assigns the keywords to the image metadata. However, I can't search for the image by keyword in bridge until I have opened that specific folder/image in Bridge. Once opened I am able to search and view by keyword. The issue is I have a over 10k images that are in various folders that I need to quickly access in Bridge via keywords. Is there a more time efficient way to assign the keywords from the Lightroom catalogue to the images and view in Bridge without manually opening each file in Bridge. I hope this makes sense and appreciate any ideas.

Before beginning, I should probably post up my pedigree.  I was invited into the Bridge prerelease program ca. 2005-06 by Chris Cox.  I have tested every prerelease, release, and beta version of Bridge since then.  That’s likely in the vicinity of 100+ versions and many thousands of volunteer hours invested in assisting Adobe in the development of Bridge.  I have used Br as the primary asset management tool in our studio’s production environment for all that time.  It is unlikely that anyone in this conversation has significantly more experience in testing and using Bridge in a high-volume production studio than I do.  My testing parameters have been refined over the years to provide the most accurate, predictable, and repeatable results. When I'm using Adobe Bridge CC 2019 on a MacBook Pro and press the spacebar to view full preview, the photos are fully pixelated and crazy. What I've done to try and fix it: - I've un-intsalled the app while keeping my Bridge settings and re-installed the app with no fix. - I've un-installed the app but removed my Bridge setting and re-installed the app with no fix. - I've purged the cache and then full preview worked until I clicked the next arrow, and then it pixelated again. - If I take a screenshot of the screen, the pixealtion goes away but if I click the arrow to go to the next photo, it pixelates again.   I've recently updated my MacBook Pro and iMac to macOS Catalina but this problem is not happening on my iMac, only on my MacBook Pro.
