Bridge

Hi,I have been noting down problems with Bridge on my M1 Macbook pro... and I can find no answers/support from Adobe. This forum procedure is not the way way for a professional company to operate. It is just a way of saving money. These are the problems I have which didnt happen on my PC version.... 1. it crashes a lot (such as when removing a memory card or sometimes creating apparently duplicated files in the viewer, which only go on clering the cache).2. you cannot edit captions while it is batch processing pictures.3. changes to a caption template are not always saved, meaning you always have double check everything when using an adjusted caption. If you forget this can lead to embarrassing uploading errors with clients.4. file info the boxes are too small to edit captions properly, on a pc you can drag the box wider to get a better view... but not on a mac!?5. there continues to be no spell checker.6. there used to be an option in C Raw to decide whether brush and other

Does anyone have a Magic Mouse that uses Bridge?Does scrolling jump or is it smooth in the left folders pane? Bridge 2017 didn't fix the bug.

Hello,this is in hopes to be forwarded to the Adobe Team.Regarding Bridge / Preferrences / Cache settings. Bridge 13.03.693It is recommended to have "Compact Cache On Idle" checked, but when doing so one isconstantly bombarded with the blue pop up, asking if you want to do so.Wouldn't it make more sense not to be bothered by something that supposed to take care of something automatically?Can this pop up please be illiminated ... it is not necessary and has no purpose.I'm writing this after a previous post and solved problem regarding the blue pop up ... byunchecking "Compact Cache On Idle" ... to not being bothered with the annoying pop up ... only byNOT following the recommendation Thanks

Hello, I am trying to open a RAW file from Adobe Bridge to Camera RAW, but this doesn't work. It will open Photoshop, but no Camera RAW. And after that I can't click on anything in Photoshop. I've updated everything and tried other tips from this forum, but so far nothing is working.  I worked in Camera RAW last week and at that point everyting worked fine. Does anyone know what I can do? 

As culling takes a lot of time for wedding photographers: I would love to have a automatic "face view" in Adobe Bridge, to cull faster at group photos. There is a lot of culling software on the market, but I would prefer to have everything in my beloved Bridge 🙂

Good morning all,  I did a shoot recently, where I copied all the files to my Macbook, and made a selection of the images I want to work (I just labelled them a certain colour). I am now back home on my iMac, and have copied the same files to my iMac. Is it possible to somehow export the "label" or something to that effect from the one computer to the other, so that I don't have to sift through hundreds of images on the new computer and make the selection on the new computer? Or am I stuck with having to copy and paste the images from the one to the other computer? Thanks

In Bridge when I want to select images to keep I press No 6 and that should mark with a red marker. I have a problem in that when I press No 6 the red colour does not show but the images is marked as when I go back and image and then return to the one I want to keep the red colour is there. How can I get it to show as soon as I press the 6

Searching for a file on Bridge, it shows the found file already selected,  by itself ("inside" the search tool).We use to be able to then close the search with the cross check (on the content panel window, not the actual top right field to start the search), and then the content of the folder appeared, and  found file was still selected, only now, it fails to keep the found found file selected when opening folder, so I only know in which folder the file is, but then it defeats the purpose, more so if I alrewady know in which floder it is, but it defeats the purpose, since I still have to go through hundreds of images scrolling the file numbers and cuzzing...  Haven't found any comments anywhere regarding this... I hope I'm not the only one using this feature on Bridge...

Ich habe auf einem macBook Pro mit M2Pro, Ventura 13.2.1 Das Bridge 2023 installiert. Es läßt sich das Foto nicht mit Doppelcklick im Photoshop öffnen, auch funktioniert das Drehen im Präsentationsmodus mit dem Kurzbefehl U nicht. kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

Kann jemand erklären wie ich bei einer Stapelumbennung mithilfe von String-Ersetzung nach Umlauten suchen kann? Das funktioniert nicht.

Hi,I have lots of PSD files that are huge and consumes most of my disks capacity. I do not need PSD files in most cases but I need high quality pcitures of them therefore falltening them to DNG format seems to be suitable, however despite that such batch export is allowed in Bridge it colapses this app.The progress bar shows 0 of 30. The first file is converted to DNG but it stops there for good.There is nothing more to do than force quit bridge.I have checked the access rights to folders and disks - not a problem. --> Is it possible to convert PSDs to DNGs or not?  

Now the program doesn't start: it opens the video and.. freeze. Crash.Such a pity...

I just got a Canon R5 and Bridge won't show any thumbnails nor open the files (in ACR or PS). I have all the latest versions of Bridge/ACR/Photoshop. Windows 11 sees the files fine with thumbs but that's not how I process my images. Any ideas?

Is it possible to view the title of a file assigned in Lightroom in the metadate panel in Bridge?

Whenever I attempt to open a photo in Camera Raw for editing through Adobe Bridge, I get an error message saying that Camera Raw editing is not enabled, and that I must launch a "qualifying product" at least once to enable it. It also will not let me open Camera Raw preferences, I get the same message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem still persists. Does anyone know what qualifies as a qualifying product or if there is a fix to this? Thanks

With the new Bridge update I can no longer go to the TOOLS Menu and select Image Processor and make Tiff and JPEG files out of my RAW processed files...Where did this function dissapear to? I've got a GROUP OF PHOTOS THAT NEEDS TO BE CONVERTED ASAP TO A CLIENT AND NOW I CAN'T GET JPEG COPIES TO THEM...Anyone got an answer?

HIWhen i have edited an image in camera raw. Then returned it to essentials Adobe bridge i don't see the icons in the top right hand corner of the image that show that the image has been edited. Is there something i need to turn on for this to show. Hopefully someone can help 

I just updated ACR and Photoshop 24.4 and now I cannot open a file (TIFF, RAW, JPEG) from Bridge to Photoshop. The file will open to ACR and then when I click "open", nothing happens. Windows 10

My computer display is normal except for Photoshop / BridgeThe images display normally initially but turn bright horrible Red and Yellow when selected I tried all colour settings - no changeI uninstalled Adobe Photoshop / Bridge and re-installed - again no change Help if you can Frank Gaughan

Every time I try to open Bridge 2023 (the latest version), I get the Mac beachball of death. When I go to Force Quict Applications, it has (not responding) next to it. I deleted the plist and the same beachball. I am not sure what else to do.

I have the latest version of Bridge 11..0.1.109 and i am having a problem accessing my external drivesto view images. All of the drives contain folders of images but Bridge will not open them which i find strange becasue if i open the drives via the desktop i can view all of the files.There is a constantspinning circle on the bottom left side of the panel where i assume it is trying to access the drive but this is happening on all of the drives and nothing opens. I can access the drives in any other way eg LR PS or from the desktop and the Photos App.Everything else barring Bridge by the looks of things. I had no issue with other versions.I have done a restart,unplugged the drives but no remedy.I am running Big Sur 11.2.3 on a Late 2015 Imac  3.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3I am hoping i have missed something in the settings and any advice will be gratefully recieved.

I use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Home or End to get to the top or bottom of a group of thumbnails.  I have used it for years and it does not work with the newest several releases of Bridge 2023.  Am I messing a setting in Bridge or has anyone else encountered this issue?   [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

Hi,I have multiple external drives. In the left column I can see computer folders.  I click on the arrows of those drives and the list of folders opens down.  The new Bridge V 13 will only allow one drive to show folders at a time.  The old Bridge I could have all of the drives showing their folders.  Do I need to check something off somewhere to show all folders? Windows computer
