Bridge

Back in the day, DESKTOP used to be at the top of the bridge FOLDERS panel, followed by the others.In the current version DESKTOP defaults to the bottom (with MAC HD at the top) Is there a way to re-order these, my Muscle Memory keeps going to the top of the panel, as that's where I have been used to browsing the desktop folder. Not a biggie, and I will get used to it.  But if there was a way to re-organise the order that folders display in the Folder panel in Bridge, that would be great.  Thanks

Opened up bridge first time,  Nothing was done.  But everything on my computer including other programs are in bridge.  Need to get them out  How to do that

Bridge wasn't broken - this new tabs thing is garbage. I use Bridge to move files around from one place another. I need seperate windows with all of the parts. Working with the tabs, having one floating with no control / meta data and trying to go back and forth is not workable. My biggest complaint with Lightroom Classic is that I can't open multiple windows so I use Bridge for these tasks and now it's becoming useless as well. Please fix it and put it back the way it used to be!!! 

After upgrading to the latest version of bridge, Photo Downloader doesn't stopped recognizing images from my Nikon D500 cards. It says, "Device Does Not Contain Any Supported Media."Video of the problem attached. The card contains images, but Photo Downloader doesn't find them.

Hi,I am wondering how I get Bridge to use the GPU more, rather than having it hammer my CPU.  At the moment, Bridge is causing my CPU to run at 100% for hours on end, but uses very little GPU resources.  I've set the Hardware Accelerator in Bridge and in Photoshop, but neither use the GPU as much as Google Chrome does.  Any suggestions?My setup is as follows:Gigabyte H370 Aorus Gaming 3 motherboardIntel Core i7-8700K CPU watercooled64 GB DDR4 2333mhz RAMGalax GTX1070 8Gb DDR5 RAM GPU air cooledBoot Drive 500GB mSATA SSDOS is Windows 10 x64 ProBridge CC2019 with RAW Cache on a separate WD HDDHere's a screen shot to show what's going on.

We're looking for a way to curate inspirational content for our creative group. As part of that, many videos on YouTube or Vimeo are items we'd like to save for reference alongside photos or fonts. Can Bridge curate these video links like it can for other types of content? AKA: We're looking for a way to make Bridge act like Eagle (https://en.eagle.cool/).

Since a few days it's not possible anymore to open a photo in ACR 15.1.1.1329 and import it in Photoshop 24.1.1 when you come from Bridge 13.02.6.636. The only way to do this is to view the photo's in Bridge (because you don't see raw-thumbnails in explorer), remember the number, then go to Windows explorer (Windows 10 Pro) with Photoshop File - Open, seek for the right number, and click on "Open". The photo is opened in ACR then and..... then the "open" button works! There seems to be a bug between Bridge en ACR? What happens is that when I double click on a photo in Bridge it opens okay in ACR. But trying to import it from ACR to  Photoshop with the "open" button brings me back to Bridge...  Before you ask 😉 :  CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz 3.80 GHzRam: 32 GBNVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

The new Bridge is displaying /dev under the Macintosh HD and it is causing Bridge to hang. Please add a fix so that Bridge does not see this drive. Finder doesn't show it. 

Since we updated from last bridge 2022 to 2023 we have extreme performance issues.We save all our photos on a server, so the bridge always load them from our local server. This works fine all the time. Since 2023 it take extrem more time for loading and generating the inital thumbnails and previews. I don't know what they changed but we can't use this version productiv. So we installed 2022 additional and use it again. It works like a charm.

I use a Nikon D600 and usually all I have to do it plug into my Mac -- go into Bridge -- and turn the camera on to get an auto download.  Or at most, connect -- go into Bridge -- and click "Get Photos from Camera" from the File drop-down menu -- and I'm off an running.  But now Bridge tells me "No Device Found" when I try to connect.  Any ideas why this is happening and how I can fix it?Many thanks,Peter

In the past the Camera Raw Metadate panel would be automatically opened, once you had selected : "EXPAND ALL COMMAND" once.Now in Version 13 you have to do this every time when rebooting the program -why ?

Bridge 13.0.3, released today, drops all display color management on secondary monitor. It just sends sRGB numbers directly to that screen. It still works correctly on the primary monitor.   This is new, not seen before in previous versions.   You probably won't notice this unless your secondary monitor is wide gamut. But then it's pretty obvious. I have two more-or-less identical Eizos here, both calibrated/profiled with Eizo Colornavigator.   It doesn't seem to matter if I just drag Bridge over, or close/reopen it on that monitor (the latter is of course the correct procedure to pick up the new monitor profile). In both cases the monitor profile is just dropped, and sRGB numbers go straight to screen with resulting oversaturation.   I'm posting this in Photoshop "Bugs" as well, since there's no bugs section here.

Bridge v13.0.2.636 in Windows 10, jpeg files so embedded data, no xmp.I am copying metadata from the Bridge Essentials workspace to an external DAMFirst selected image works fine. When I select the next and subsequent images, the content of the Headline, Description and Keywords fields do not change until I click in the content box (i.e. inside the headline box, the description bo, then the keywords box) the blue outline of the box moves and the new content appears. However if I return to the first (headline) box and hit ctrl+c to copy the data, it copies the keyword data, and vice versa). The focus (faint blue highlight) on the title (i.e. the word "keyword" etc,) is still on the keyword area even though I have tried to copy the data from within the headline box. If I click on the actual word "headline" the focus moves and everything works as expected. So I have to click inside each box, then go back and click on the word then select the data within the content box and copy it, then d

Hi, I have a problem starting with bridge.When I open bridge, an error message appears that I can't remove and that doesn't allow me to interact with the program (it tells me that the "FOTO" collection cannot be found. "It may have been renamed or deleted"), (on another my computer the same folder is found).I have already tried uninstalling the program without keeping the data and using a program to also delete residual files and reinstalling bridge, but still the message persists.(I can't use bridge, to close it I have to use "force close").(Photos are on an external hard drive).Do you know how I can solve it? 

Since I've updated Bridge, full screen video don't fit the screen.Before the update, it was fine. After, the size of the video is about 25% of the screen. Smaller than the no full screen preview in fact.Generate Monitor-size previews is checked. Purging cache doesn't help.And now, this is how Adobe has helped me: 10 minutes or more before being contacted by an agent, ten minutes waiting after being contacted, and... nothing:All in all, I've already lost about one hour of my life for nothing.

I am just setting up Bridge on another pc and I want a method of transferring all of my Export presets and other settings to a new version of Bridge. How is this done apart from doing each setting manually?There must be a simple way of doing it because when a new version o bridge is downloaded to my pc it takes on all of the settings of the old version

When I save a new workspace, Bridge always saves the folder that I’m in as part of the workspace.  That’s ok for a few uses, but not something I want to happen all the time. How can I get it to stop doing that?  Is there a new setting I need to select? This has never happened before.

As you see below, DNG pictures look way different in Bridge. When I zoom in 100%, the picture is very sharp, so I know it's not the embedded JPG. In Darktable, you can see the image is displayed correctly without the overexposure you see in Bridge. I really like the speed of Bridge and I mainly use DNGs to view high quality images, I don't edit often, so I was hoping to get the same quality of pictures in Bridge without the need to use Darktable which is pretty slow. Is there any setting that needs to be adjusted to fix this issue?    P.S.  DNGs opened in Windows Photos and Windows Photo Gallery look the same as the ones in Bridge, so I don't know why only darktable is getting it right.The source of the images is a LG Stylo 4, the app is OpenCamera. Just installed 13.0.3.693 and it has fixed a couple of issues for me. One thing that seems not to be reported before and isn't fixed is checkered edges on PSD files even when there is only a background layer in the image. With different zoom levels the position of these edges change. To make it plainly visible I have simply made an image with a black background layerI see this on systems with completly different setup for monitor etc. (all with OS Windows 10). Yeah i know i am a bit late to the party but i tried to use the new Br as little as possible because to be honest it annoyed the living hell out of me. And this for a couple of reasons. So I thought my feedback would not be educated enough. I thought it might be that I just don't understand it because I don't know it enough.Maybe just a quick word about myself to put the feedback better into perspective. I have been working in the media industry for almost 20 years I guess in a very broad range from doing complex highres composings in Photoshop to lighting modeling simulating rendering cgi stuff in many non Adobe products (Houdini, Maya, Zbrush,...). I am using Adobe software daily for living and would consider myself as a sophisticated user.   So yesterday I took the time to look into the "new" way of working with panels. Audio preview does not play completely..Some audio files often fail to play, and the playback breaks in the middle. Why is that?

I have noticed slow grinding to a halt and general all-round buggyness of Bridge for some time.I am uncertain if this is ONE of the reasons, BUT this happens a lot to me (and just happened on the recent beta as well)..Bridge starts to index files for a Collection. Then it just stops at a specific folder and don't progress. I have to manually go into that folder and voila, no previews shows up. I then have to delete the cache for THAT folder only, the images reapper and indexing then progresses.There are no bad jpgs or any specific file that should do this to Bridge. It happens quite often, not always to the same folder either. Another thing that I find annoying is how little information is provided about what Bridge is doing in the background. It would help knowing it is doing the dishes or vacuming the livingroom while I am trying to find my wallet. I know it says so on a small line, but it is not visually a good way to show it IMHO.
