Hello, since installation 24.2 the imageprocessor does not work anymore. The message which appears ( in Bridge ) says: ' to continue, install the latest version' ... which I did. Reboot (computer + photoshop) doesn't help. I need this badly because of large amounts of PSD's that has to be turned over into JPG. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, warm greetings from Belgium, Ingrid
Can no longer use my keyboard shortcuts to delete a file within Bridge. Press Delete and the dialogue box comes up but doesn't respond to any futher keyboard commands. The rest has to be completed using the mouse. I'm using Adobe CC Bridge Version 13.0.2.636 on a Mac using Monterey 12.6
I am very surprised that in the very last version of Bridge that I have as of 20 March 2023, the application cannot read png files, even i thumbnails. How can I fix this issue ?Sorry but before posting this message I searched in key words my concern and have not seen any discussion on this (which si surprising me).
I was having a ton of issues with Adobe Bridge 2023 until the new beta came out. Jpegs I made in Bridge not allowing me to change ratings, speed issues - just weird and clunky. The beta version I just downloaded seems to solve many of my issues and seems blazing fast. So far so good.
Hey guys,What can i do to get Bridge not to show Developer settings greyed out?It was working before, but now, it won't let me click on any of them, I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, but nothing changed.Other people in the office can click on them, but for some reason I can't.Any ideas?Thanks,{Thread modified by Moderator}
Since version 13.0.2.636 the key combination for colored markings is swapped.Normally the command should be CTRL + 6/7/8/9.Now this only works if you first press the number and then the CTRL key. This should then read 6+CTRL and not CTRL+6.It used to be right
How can I inform Adobe of a problem I encountered with the Beta version?I have posted on this forum but I doubt anyone from Adobe Tec will read it.It seems that there is a problem with Adobe Beta and the Graphics card on my computer which is making other programs so slow as to be unusable. The card is an Intel (R).
I have never been able to open and use Bridge 13, it simply doesn't work. When I try to open it, a white "X" inside a red circle appears, meaning, I think, that I can't open it.What can I do ?
I am trying to share a Bridge Workspace to a group of people. I've done this before, but am having difficulty this time. This is for the most current version (13.0.2.636) on both Windows 10 Pro and MacBook computers. I have both, the paths my workspaces are stored are below: MacBook: /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge 2023/WorkspacesWindows 10 PRO: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CC\Workspaces\ These are not working for some users, who advise that path does not exist. Any assistance would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.
Where is the value in allowing vertically designed panels to be docked so that they occupy the full width of the pathbar location hiding important path info and wasting enormous amounts of screen real estate?
When I open adobe bridge, the message "Error" comes up and I can only select "ok", then Bridge closes.
So I have a minor issue which hopefully is due to my own ignorance. Some files don't show the file info option when right click, in the file menu or with the shortcut CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+I In the same series (same photoshoot) some do, and some don'tThe files that don't are all very large files, all PSD and all with multiple smart objects embedded. In the same photoshoot, those that show the file info, are the ones where little retouch was needed, hence smaller sizes. My cache is set at the max: I cannot obviously apply my metadata presets in Bridge to those images, although I can do it when I open them in Photoshop and do it individually (which is a pain)Is there anything I'm doing that prevents me from accessing the file info? (I get that larger files cannot have their thumbnails showing - stuck in "generating thumbnails/generating previews for hours on end) the files open fine in photoshop, only takes a couple of seconds. Hi, Bridge worked perfectly until this morning. I now get an error message (see below) then it simply closes. That means I cannot use Bridge any longer! I do want to use Bridge! Any help appreciated. Thank you
Bridge has some ability to view and edit EXIF/IPTC/XMP metadata inside image files. EXIFTool is a free command line app with numerous additional metadata features. My latest scripting project helps to integrate Photoshop and Bridge with EXIFTool. I am releasing three scripts for Bridge and one for Photoshop; they are in the Developmental folder on my DropBox: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mg817g9a9ymbasi/AADTmXUVxmFfM58bcyYE7yiwa?dl=0 These scripts rely on EXIFTool so it must be installed. On Windows, exiftool.exe must be located in the Windows $PATH. On Mac, use the default install location. More information and installers are on the EXIFTool website: https://exiftool.org/ These scripts are currently DEVELOPMENTAL and may (probably) contain bugs. They are Apache-licensed open source and may be used in accordance with that license. Photoshop script: PS-Run EXIFTool - full-featured window to run EXIFTool commands on open files Bridge script
How do i get the add keyword (+) button to show up on the keyword panel. It's nowhere i can find it.
Just recently installed CC (and Bridge) on a new Mac (running Ventura). I noticed today in Bridge, there is one folder (under the Mac HD path) that gets displayed called 'Dev'. No idea what it is or why, and I hadn't noticed seeing it there before? Any idea what this is and why it's showing up in Bridge? Screenshot below.
Creating a folder within a folder inside bridge, with right click - create folder - makes one (physical) folder in the right place, but creates 2-4 visible (phantom) Folders in Bridge. When selecting other content, and going back to the directory where the folder waas created, the additional folder are gone. I have noticed, that one of the new folders has the windows default Name (neuer Ordner in German), whilest the phantom Folders have empty names. Windows 10 with all updates, latest Bridge.
I've noticed with the most recent renditions of Adobe Bridge (I'm using CC 2019), my images appear extremely noisy - to the point that I cannot use Bridge as a means for review. It almost looks like they've been far too over-sharpened. To demonstrate, here is a screenshot of a full-screen preview in Bridge, followed by a screenshot of the same image in my Mac's built-in app Preview. Anyone know why?Bridge:Preview:
I am having an issue with Bridge 2023 I have never had before. When I create JPEGS from raw (CR3) files on a MAC Studio or my M1 MACbook Pro - the ability to change ratings lock up. I can still change the ratings on the raws - but if I back the jpegs up and use them again - I am locked out of changing ratings. I had a long call with Adobe and the jpeg ratings could be changed in the moment, but as soon as I move them they lock up. Any clues? Is there suddenly a setting on my server or harddrives that needs to be changed. The issue is not accessing the jpegs, just changing the ratings in Bridge where they were created. I opened the jpegs I am having problems with in Lightroom and I could change the ratings. I love Bridge and have used it for years. I don't want to create separate catalog.
Installed the new version of Brodge, but it keeps disappearing from my applications at the application toolbar. Photoshop is always there...I have to reopen it evertime I fisnish with it. Why does it dissappear?
MacOS Ventura 13.2 The current issue is. When the Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader opens, the panel displays <None Detected> in the Get Photos from control. Refreshing the list has no effect and no devices are found. However, Bridge can see the SD card in the card reader, as it can display the photos. Bridge sees the device but the Photo Downloader does not. Thanks
I installed Bridge Beta (13.0.3.686) and it worked well. However, it adversly affected the speed of other programs. Topaz Studio was so slow as to make it unusable. I uninstalled Bridge but no difference was seen. I had to do a System Restore to get things back to normal. I tried updating NVIDIA Driver as suggested but this failed because the Graphis Driver installed on my device is Intel (R) HD Graphics 4000 which is up to date.
I try and open Bridge through the CC interface. A warning box without any text opens and then Bridge is unresponsive. I'm running on a PC on Windows 10. I've uninstalled and reinstalled withour any luck. Thoughts?
Recently, past week or so, Bridge will not open. It launches and then immediately a small box appears in the middle of the screen. Can't get past this. Have uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and still the same thing See the screen shot - not much help but that's all I get! Thanks for your help
I am using Adobe Bridge 2022 (version 12.0.0. 234) on my iMac with Mac OS 12.01.I have tried many times to download pictures from my SD card, but Photo Downloader continues to crash and making up crash reports. Now I can't even repeat opening Photo Downloader anymore to show the fault message I receive.I use Photo Downloader mainly to rename my downloaded files. Please help me what I can do to solve this problem.Adobe charges a hefty amount for an annual subscription for which I may expect a perfect software without such nasty problems.Regards,Miel
