Bridge

hello, I make a specific sequence of photos in essential elements, then change to my workspace. However when I change back to essentials my sequence is gone! Also when I change to another map and come back to the map I worked on earlier, the sequence is lost. I have sorted manual on. Very frustrating as I lose a lot of time this way. I go back to the version of 2021 and there is no problem. thank you for any advicegreetings Maggie    

I just try to rename a whole photoshoot, adding the model's name BEFORE the original file name.It get¡s all messy. It does what it wants and I lost all the original names.also It rename file extension using part or the original name.Result:none of my files has extension and I have to guess which one is a jpg or tiff , psd o crw... 

My photo file names (Titles) are all different and specific to each photo.When Batch renaming I WANT TO KEEP THE FILE NAME/TITLE (Ringed in Blue) APPENDED TO THE END, after Sequence Number but HOW ?Bear in mind each FILE NAME/TITLE will be differentI can not find a way to achieve this.See attached batch rename sequence Ver 13.0.2.636

The new Bridge Beta solved 2 problems I was having after installing the last release. Crl+T was not hiding the adjustment icons (just the text) and Photoshop would no longer open files from ACR. But I'm still frustrated with the changes in workflow that arrived with V13. I used to be able to launch a new instance of Bridge by selecting Ctrl+D. Now I must press Crtl+Shift+T to open a new Content Panel. How is that an easier shortcut? Previously I could close any of the multiple open instances of Bridge with a simple Ctrl+W. There does not appear to be a keyboard shortcut to close a Content Panel (or is there one??). So I must click on a tiny "hamburger" icon and choose "Close Panel".  There does not appear to be  any way to customize the KB shortcuts either, so everything's taking longer to do. I see the UI offers three choices: black, too dark, and too light. Why not include a simple middle gray?  I find much of the UI text to be very low contrast wit

  Can you change the basic color scheme in Bridge?  I looked under preferences but didn't see it. Maybe I just missed it.

Hi,How do I hide this "camera raw changes" small icon from my images?ctlr+T doesn't hide it anymore. Why Adobe makes things only for worse with each update?

quick question! I have never used or plan to use Bridge, is not part of my workflow. I import and organize with LR and edit with PS. Can I safely uninstall Bridge (from the creative cloud dashboard) from my computer to save space?not sure if LR or PS are using it for something on the background.thanks a lot in advance!sagar

Hello I am running Adobe Bridge 13.0.0.562 on a Mac M1 OS Ventura 13.0. After an update, I tried today to run one of my workflow that renamed and copied photos to an external drive, where  I cataloged my photos with LR after.  The process is not working. It is not copying the files. I split the workflow in two: Rename and Then Copy. The rename workers, but copy is still the same. I also try purging local copies in the Cache and resetting preference with no Success. It is frustrating; I am considering moving to Photo Mechanics after so many problems with Bridge. Thanks, and any help is appreciatedAlfredo

I cant store pictures I change with ACR in Bridge. A new Picture is made in a new format (DnG,Tiff or Jpeg) but no changes i made with mask. I can change for example to black and white, and basic changes buth not with mask.

2020 Bridge (vs10.1) metadata no longer includes a line under Camera Data (Exif) for "exposure" in our mac or windows versions.  Is this an error or did Adobe exclude this on purpose?    The exposure data has to be somewhere as it is displayed using a file information inquiry, maybe located somewhere else?  My partner and I have been exporting this information with our photographs to our websites, so we do miss it.

Hello to all, I am on windows 10, 64 bit, and my Bridge CC 2017 does not open.It doen't matter if I try to open it from Creative Cloud or from Explorer. In Task Manager I noticed that the Bridge.exe process starts, but as a background process:It stays like that, without opening any graphical interface, and it also mess with Photoshop and Creative Cloud:If I start Photoshop while Bridge is "running" in the background, Photoshop will too remain in the background, untill I end the Bridge process from Task Manager, and then it starts normally.If I start Photoshop before Bridge, it starts ok. If I then start Bridge (which will just appear as a background process, without really starting), Photoshop will freeze untill I will end the Bridge process from Taks Manager.If I have the Creative Cloud user interface open while i end the Bridge process from Task Manager, I will be logged out of my account, and asked my credentials to login.I have reinstalled Bridge  and/or reset the settings sev

I have used the same metadata template for years. I need to edit it as my included personal details have changed.Whether I choose to edit my existing template or create a new one, only 10 properties are presented.The very properties of the IPTC Core section I wish to edit (mainly contact details) are not listed.These properties were certainly included in my template when it was created long ago and are correctly written to images when this template is applied to them.There appears to be no option to access these other properties.I checked this on 2 different PCs both running Windows 11 22H2 with Bridge version 13.0.2.636.The same is seen on both.Have I stumbled upon a bug or oversight of some kind?

Hi, I have just updated my Bridge to the most recent version after updating my software to Ventura and I seem to have an issue with the folders panel.  I only ever use the Desktop folder  in the left hand side panel but when i drag a folder from my desktop in to bridge the Computer folder pings open instead which is very annoying and pointless and I have to scroll down to find the folder I want again. I'm not sure if this is something that Adobe have tried to fix in the latest update as they do mention that a fix as been put in for  "Folder navigation jumps to the top while dragging/dropping a file/folder in the folder panel” but that doesn’t seem to have worked for me if that’s the case.  Any thoughts would be great. :EDIT: Got it working, the entire executable path is required.     Since I discovered that Bridge can't perform a bunch of operations on XMP/EXIF data, I have been working on hooking up EXIFTool to Bridge. I have been going round and round and CANNOT get EXIFTool to run using app.system().   I do use this function in other scripts, and I'm able to call other executables (I've used it with Adobe DNG Converter, cURL, and have been able to run simple things like dir/ls and redirect the output to a file.   If I call the command, it just silently fails. Bridge doesn't have a way for commands to send an error message back so I'm just in the dark. Writing the command to an alert window, copying it, then running THAT in a command window works on both platforms.   This is a very simple command that fails (on the Mac, its installed in the command path so just calling "exiftool" works in Terminal.)   var cmd = "C:/Users/converse/Downloads/exiftool.exe -a -ALL -G1

I am working on a server ( network assisted storage). After importing (RAW) images I star rate them, then edit in camera raw, save as jpgs with camera raw.  After opening an image in a photoshop and saving again, the star rating stops working. It doesn't matter if jpgs are on server or copied to a computer, once images are saved via photoshop, the star rating simply stops working. I am working on mac and all the softwears are up tp date. I tried all the solutions that I could find in this forum so farCan anyone help please

hello. i am using a hassselblad H4D 31 and the changes i made in camera raw are not stored in Bridge.For eample: I changed the colour of the background from black to green. When i store the picture in a tiff format or in JPEG the changes are not visable.I look forward to your suggestions. Hans 

Hello - I am trying to move my collections from my old Macbook, which died, to my new Macbook. I have all of the collections in format .filelist files from my old computer, from filepath /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC 2018/Collections. However, that filepath does not seem to exist in Bridge 2022. I cannot find where the collections are stored in Bridge 2022. Does anyone know where the collections are stored in Bridge 2022 on Mac, or how I can import these .filelists into Bridge 2022? Thank you,Hannah

Ik heb Bridge 2013Ik wilde mappen verplaatsen naar een andere map en in plaats van verplaatsen zijn ze allemaal verdwenenIk klik op de map en klik rechts en dan verplaatsen. Daarvoor had ik een specifieke map aangemaakt.Zo heb ik heel veel fotomappen verplaatst. Tot mijn grote verbazing zijn de mappen niet verplaatst, maar ook nergens meer te vinden. Zelfs niet in de prullebak.In de vorige versies Bridge was dit nooit een probleem. Bovendien ging het heel snel omdat ik de bestanden binnen dezelfde schijf verplaats. In de nieuwste versie duurde het niet alleen heel lang om de bestanden te verplaatsen, maar ze zijn ook nog verdwenen.Ook met zoeken zijn geen van de foto's meer te vinden wat een ramp is voor mij omdat het een archief is met mappen foto's vanaf 1989 tm heden. Dus ongeveer 10.000 foto'sIs het een bug? of wat kan het zijn, zeker omdat de foto's en mappen ook niet in de prullebak zijn verdwenenmet vriendelijke groet,Marja

Hi all, Since upgrading to Bridge 2023 I started to have colour issues when pressing the space bar to preview the image.I use mac studio and a calibrated Eizo CG2730.All works perfectly on Bridge 2022. The problem only occurs in Bridge 2023.Please let me know if you know what's causing this.Many thanks,D 

We used to use Preview in Bridge as a way to know if a file needed a second pass in Camera Raw. The quality in that Preview window was good enough to tell us if the color and contrast were right. It no longer is. It’s kind of “muted”, in my processor's words, not reflecting the changes made in the Camera Raw dialogue. This seems to be true only with the 24.0.1 release. Any ideas?

I installed the latest Bridge 13.0.0.562, and my Workflow is not working when writing and renaming files to an external USB-C SSD. I reverted BRIDGE to the previous version, 12.0.3, and everything works fine. Thus it is a 13.0.562 problem,. I reported the problem to tech support, and I am hoping we can get a solution soon. The WORKFLOW facility is, for me, the most essential feature in my culling photos. Thanks, Alfredo

I have been using Workflow since it came out and while a bit buggy (.JPEG instead of ..JPG) Since the update, when using a simple Task like Change Format, (converting raw, PSD, etc file to JPG), it goes through the motions, even created the subfolder, but no file is created. Workflow Progress panel indicates no errors. Searched my harddrive and not saving anywhere else. Please fix.
