HI Bridge Users: I have a unique problem that i'm unable to find a solution. As a photographer, I do use the bath rename often to rename a batch of files to a certain name all at once, but not different file names.  At my day job, i deal with file names that are given to me like this and i would have to rename each indivudal file name manually and it sucks to do that when you're working with hundres of files. For example:No real person name used here:Orinigal file name:John_Doe_3.10.2023Jone_Smith_10.11.2022Randy_James_2.23.2020I want it to siimply batch rename them to:Doe, JohnSmith, JoneJames, RandySo in other words, Keep the name of person but do last name first and first name last. is there a script or rule i can use to do this in the bath rename feature? Or can we do this useing Adobe Acrobate Pro? Thanks in advance

Hi there, I have just almost lost a lot of work, because after selecting parent folder in Folders window, I went to Content window, left clicked file and then presse "delete". Bridge deleted all parent directory. I have restored file only thanks to Recuva.... It's crazy, it happend second time in two different Bridge versions. Win 11, Bridge 15.0.3.525 

Hi there! Im trying to use the Workflow feature to scale my pictures according to different specs.When scaling down within the same aspect ratio, i just use the option Fit to long Edge and it works just fine.But i also need resolutions where the aspect ratio is close to the original but not exactly the same, so there has to be cropped a little bit during scaling, which should be no problem but i can't just get it to work in Bridge.For testing im Using a 2000x3000 picture to scale down to 240x354, i selected the option Fill and entered the desired resolution. The preview sample looks right and also confirms the new resolution of 240x354.But when i start the workflow it just exports me 1 px of height so i end up with a 240x1 image.What am i doing wrong?

Depuis la version 2025 de Bridge je ne peux plus tranferer les photos sur l'ordi avec mes lecteurs de carte.Downloader me dit que les fichiers ne sont pas pris en charge, alors qu'avec  lightroom je peux les transferer.Ces modifs continuelles ça devient angoissant, on y passe un temps fou quand on est amateur on va tous finir avec les Iphones et l'IA.

Salve, ho installato l'ultima versione di Bridge e l'unico problema che ho è che non vede i dischi esterni ( mentre sul mac si vedono e funzionano correttamente) Qualcuno è in grado di aiutarmi ?Ho già disinstallato e ri installato Bridge diverse volte senza successo.I dischi vengono visti nella " cartelle" ma non me li apre in nessun modo.Grazie per la collaborazione.

Greetings everyoneI have three screenshot jpeg images in a folder. One image loads a Thumbnail and a Preview and the other two don't. I have reset the Preference Settings, Purged the Cache, given Full Disk Access to Bridge and checked all settings and Preferences.The one image that loads the Thumbnail & Preview also displays the full Metadata. The other two show no Dimensions, Resolution or Colour Profile. These images were Saved in Photoshop and not Exported.The same issue is visible on Bridge 2025 and on 2022.The images that do not show, do open in Photoshop 2025.The images that do not show in Bridge do show in Finder and open in Preview.The images that don't show, also do not show in Capture One - which makes me think that it is not necessarily a Bridge issue, but more a Photoshop Save issue.The issue is not isolated - I get the same issue with work that has been saved on multiple 24inch M1 Mac computers (student work).I am on a MacBook Pro (M1) with all Apps fully updated

Hi, I downloaded a texture effect from an online source. I dropped it into layers on Bridge. Now when I go to use Bridge/Filters, this new effect is stuck 'on'. I can't use any other filters? I've removed, binned and deleted the download, but it still appears stuck 'on' when I go to Filters. I can't even find it ? Where/How do i remove it? Thanx.   [Mod: Moved to the Bridge forum]  

Ever since the last update of bridge, I've also updated to the latest release(10.1.1.166) anytime Bridge loses focus and then I come back and click on ANYTHING, spacebar an image, the sort drop down, even the Help menu, Bridge goes into "not responding" mode and I wait 45 - 60 second before it comes back.  Please fix this hot mess, it's unusable.

Up until 2 days ago Batch renaming was not an issue, but now when I go to run a batch with all the same steps nothing happens.  It looks like it goes through the process but the file names are still the same.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, purged caches, tried other files etc.

Hallo und guten Tag,leider gibt es im aktuellen Dialogfenster "Bilder von Gerät importieren" in Bridge keine RAF (Fujifilm RAW)Vorschau. Eigentlich völlig unverständlich, da Bridge ja gerade diese Form von Daten verarbeiten bzw. verwalten soll. Ich würde mich sehr freuen in dieser Sache technishen Support zu bekommen, der das Problem löst oder zu einer Lösung führt. vielen Dank Henning

When I go to Tools>Photoshop, whatever I choose  it gives me a message I need to restart Bridge. If I keep both PS and bridge open, the problem does not repeat.  I do not have the latest versions because with the updated versions, going to Tools>photoshop does nothing.

Je ne vois que les vignettes avec un grand S.Y a-t-il quelque chose à faire ? J'ai purgé la mémoire cache mais rien n'y fait.Merci de votre aide Adobe Bridge 2025 Mac Sequoia 15.3. Everything is new and updated. I can't view the CR2 files on the Bridge page. I only see the vignettes with a big S.Is there anything to do? After connecting my Z8 to my Mac like I alwas do, uploader does not recognize the camera.  I also don't see it on Finder.  I cannot use Adobe Bridge to upload my photos. Laptop, Adobe software, and Camera firmware are all up to date on latest versions.  Please help.

Using the latest bridge 13 on window 10I have the folders panel on the right side of the interfaceWhen I open bridge, this defaults to "This PC" under the desktop heading.   I want to default to "This PC" on the folder list and eliminate the "Desktop" from the folders panelI can't find any settings to modify this Also, bridge is not saving where I was last.  I would be fine if it just reopens to the last folder I was working in. Is there a way to remove the "Desktop" from the folders panelAnd can you set where you want Bridge to point when you open it up.THANKS in advance for your assistance   

Estoy tratando de abrir el programa por primera vez, pero no carga los contenidos, sólo aparece un círculo dando vueltas y así ya lleva varios minutos, sin importat la carpeta que seleccione para mostrar. ¿Hay algún permiso que deba de aceptar dentro de las configuraciones, o "algo" para que cargue el contenido? Estoy en la versión 15.0.2, en Mac. Gracias.  

I cannot get the Application Bar icons to display on my Bridge display.  I understand that they should be right below the Menu Bar but I cannot get them to show up.Thanks for any suggestions!!Teresa

Hello,I typically tag keywords to my photos and then do a search based on those keywords in Br.It had been working fine, but today I noticed that the search was bringing up all types of files ( JPG, PS files, HEICs, etc) except RAW files (I should be getting my CRW and RAF files).I double checked that the Raw files I'm looking for are indeed tagged, I can see them in the different folders and I see their keywords, but they don't show up in the search.I already cleared my filters. I can't find a way to check if I have some type of preferences for file types for the search function. Please advise.Thank you in advance. I'm using:McBookPro, Sonoma 14.6.1, Photoshop 2025, Bridge 2025  

Not sure why, but since my latest update Adobe Bridge freezes consistently, is extremly slow. Its obvioiusly a serious performance issue, but I cannot tell why this is. The old versions where all working fine.  This is latest Bridge under Windows 11.  Any ideas?

Any files that have that use and alias are not showing on Bridge.  I have v.14 and have purged the cache.  Please see the screen capture and advise how I can fix it.  

I've downloaded old .NEF files off of my Google Drive and imported them to the most recent version of Bridge 2025. The files are set to Read and Write and are located in my iCloud Drive. When I try to export them as DNG or any other file, they do not export and show as "Error Files". I've cleared cache, restarted computer, force quit Bridge, reinstalled Bridge, no change. Camera Raw and Photoshop are up to date. I literally can't do anything with these files. The file previews do not load and when I click on the preview it turns into a NEF thumbnail. Live support was no help and the conversation was closed before the issue was solved.2018 Macbook Pro, Sequoia OS. 

In Bridge, the Date Created field no longer shows AM or PM after the time information, as shown below. How would I fix this? 

Seit dem neue PH 2020 ist meine Bridge extrem langsam geworden. Dh wenn ich eine Datei mit ca. 200 RAWs öffnen möchte dauert es mehrere Minuten bis sich die Miniaturen aufgebaut haben obwohl ich bereits die Option "Eingebettete bevorzugen" eingestellt habe. Cache habe ich auch schon geleert. Gibt es hier Abhilfe? Sollte ich die Bridge neu installieren? Gruß Gerd

I updated to Bridge 2024 this morning, now I can't rotate any image previews (clockwise/counter-clockwise). The files are .NEF, I haven't had this issue with them in the past. I'm on a Mac Ventura 13.5. Things I've tried so far:-Tools>Cache>Purge Cache for Folder-Settings>Cache Management>Purge 100% Previews in Cache and Purge All Local Cache Files-Resetting preferences upon startup for Bridge-Restarting my Mac-Giving Bridge 2024 full disc access in my Mac preferences-Tried to give files and folders access in Mac preferences as well, weirdly Adobe Bridge 2024 is greyed out. This might be because it is already granted full disc access(???). Further information that could be relevant: I sometimes have the issue in Bridge where I can't create new folders (seemingly randomly), but after doing the above the folder button is currently working. Unfortunately it did nothing for the rotation button. Photoshop 2024 is also not recognizing the .NEF files (again, ne

I'm on an M2 Pro MacMini running Ventura 13.5 and the Photo Downloader will not open when an sd card is connected to a card reader or when my X-T5 is connected directly. Clicking on the Downloader icon does nothing, it is set to open when a camera is connected in preferences. I can bypass the Downloader by selecting "import from device" from the file menu, but this is not ideal.  Resetting preferences does nothing. Any clues?
