Hi, I'm using the newest version of Bridge: 9.0.1.216 x64.My use of Bridge, for a particular project I'm working on, is simply to apply keywords. I don't need to preview the videos. With my workflow, I don't even need thumbnails. After applying keywords to the files in a particular folder, I probably never need to return to it. Therefore, I don't need a cache at all, so saving files to the cache is a waste of resources and time (for my needs).You cannot apply a keyword (XMP Data) until the thumbnail has generated. The problem is that they take FOREVER to load, and sometimes, I need to scroll down (I'm using List view) to even generate thumbnails for the videos that are visible in the window; videos outside of the visible items won't generate automatically.The folders I'm working with average something like 100 GB, but only have 100 files or so. I am using an older Macbook pro and El Capitan is the final OS I can update to. Is there an older version of Bridge (2015,2016) available for download somewhere? What most sofware makers don't understand is and this includes Adobe, I don't care about support for the older software, as long as it's available for download and use on an older machine.

Ich nutze seit Jahren Adobe Bridge CS6 und seit einigen Monaten die Bridge 2022 am Windows Desktop PC. Neuerdings sind alle Fotos in der Anzeige/Vorschau (wie Leuchttisch/Grundlagen/Filmstreifen) nur in der Bridge 2022 stark rotstichig. Das irritiert sehr. Wenn ich sie mit CameraRaw, Lightroom oder PS öffne sind die Farben normal.In der CS6-Version sind die Bilder auch ok. Auch im Windows Explorer und anderen Fotoprogrammen sind die Fotos normal zu sehen. Am Monitor kann es daher wohl nicht liegen. Inzwischen habe ich die Bridge 2022 deinstalliert und wieder installiert, die sich darüber amüsiert hat und mich weiter rätseln lässt.Alle Programme sind auf aktuellem Stand.

I suddenly had problems with Bridge 2021. Not responding. I uninstalled and installed latest version of Bridge. Same problem. Unreposnsive. Any thoughts?Thanks!Russell

Hi all, We have used Bridge for a long time and not had this issue.All of the sudden, many thumbnails for our TIF files do now show in Bridge. There is a screenshot attached. Also, our metadata for some images is missing data. Many of them have lost their "keywords," so we are unable to filter through images based on keywords.  When I try to assign a keyword to an image, the attached error comes up.Help- what can we do?!   

Hello is Bridge available for iPhone 11 app?

In previous versions of Windows, the Bridge Photo Downloader opened when the card was inserted in the card reader in the PC. After upgrading to Windows 11. nothing happens when I insert a card in the PC.I found these instructions: "Connect your camera, card reader, or mobile device to the computer using a supported cable. Note: (macOS only) On your Mac machine, you can configure Adobe Bridge to automatically open Photo Downloader when a camera is connected to the computer. Choose Adobe Bridge > Preferences. In the Behavior area of the General panel, select When A Camera Is Connected, Launch Adobe Photo Downloader. Then, click OK."  this seems to say that Photo Downloader will only open automatically in a Mac.Can Photo Douwnloader be set to open automatically in Windows 11?

Hi,Hugely frustrating that I can no longer click on Drobo (my box of hard drives/backups/archive) in folders in Bridge, and see the folders within. How can I see my archive folders which all live in Drobo? I used to click on Drobo and a list of the enclosed folders would drop down. No longer. I often used to use bridge to rename images. I cannot even do that any more as I cant find the file. (Although not for here, when importing into Lightroom, I have to make about 10 more clicks to get to the right folder in Drobo as I found a workaround - top right corner, but very fiddly). If anyone can help, that would be appreciated as my workflow has been severely disrupted... Thanks, Nick 

Where can I turn off the keyboard command that lets me switch back and forth between Bridge and Photoshop with ctrl+alt+o? Thank you

I'm using MacOS Catalina on a 2014 iMac 27 and trying to download images from an iPhone 13 Pro. I have checked "Preferences/When camaera is connected..." With phone plugged in, the Photo Downloader window opens (I see Get Photos from: etc.) then this pop-up appears "Loading device list... Please wait." Then it locks up and I have to do a Force Quit.  Is there a fix??

Hello, I wish you all a wonderful day and a thank you in advance. I am trying to create unique items for a world I plan to play with my friends. Simply put, it is difficult for me to create custom textures in 16 x 16, much less get the details I want.   I am aware of how to enlarge my drawing area, but any items with texture larger than that seem to be offset from their intended position inside my character's hand. 32 x 32 appears to have the item resting on the character's shoulder, and the higher the resolution, the larger and farther away the item appears to be. Are there any fixes to this?    If it helps at all, the only experimental feature I have is Holiday creator Features and I am using Bridge. v2. (This is my first post here and I wish to apologize if there are any mistakes I had made.)

Hello just started using bridge since the latest update. normally when i open it up i can select which files id like to view on the left side. Computer, documents, desktop etc. it will not allow me to view desktop items in bridge. how do i fix this?

Hello,I’m in the last Adobe Bridge Version (12.0.2.252) and the DGN thumbnails are not updating after editing in ACR as it used to happen.Photo thumbnails remain under or over exposed as tooked, even after been edited in ACR.Can anyone help me on this one?Thank you in advance.

Hello,I've had an issue with smart collections recently as I couldn't drag and drop certain files from there to another app as it'd lead to Bridge crashing immediately, the file does get transfered though.However I fixed it by disabling the "Include all Subfolders" option and now it is working fine.I only made this post to help anyone out there having the same issue. Just disable the said option and you're good to go.

I recently installed a new SSD hard drive on my Imac computer and installed the Catalina v10.15.7 OS version. Since a couple of weeks I have a subscription on Adobe Cloud and I enthousiastically installed some Adobe products on my system. When working with Adobe Bridge 2021, I noticed that when editing for example a jpg (open in Camera Raw, making some adjustments and then accepting these adjustments and closing camera Raw to go back to the overview in Bridge) the adjustments do not show in my finder for that changed jpg file. I can see the timestamp has changed on the jpg file in my finder but the actual picture adjustment does not show. (for example: changing a jpg from colour to B/W).I already tried adding Adobe Bridge in the "accessibility section " through System Preferences and also adding the program to have access to "files and folders". No luck.Only when I do a specific export in Adobe Bridge and save it in a choosen folder as a 'new' jpg, the results show. However I woul

Is there a way to automatically create a collection of sort to list all images of the same format?For example, I wish to create an «SVG Collection» to show all .SVG files in my D-disk, whatever they are, that is a flat colection. I am not interested to know in which folder they are, but only sort them by name in a single long list. I have my SVG files in many different folders and sometimes it is a mess to rememeber where a certain file is stored. I also wish to have that collection automatically updated as soon as a new SVG file is loaded on D-disk, of course.Any way to do it?

Hey! When I shoot photos I copy them from a card to finder on mac, then use bridge to sort thru them before importing to LR/PS. Just recently it started showing most photos with Lens Corrections applied. This is a problem because I shoot fisheye photos and I dont know if you have ever tried to appy corrections to one but it makes it look insane and hard to sort thru. How can I disable this? It never happened until around a month ago. maybe apart of an update?

I can't seem to find a way to associate .jpg or .png files with the default Windows Photo Viewer. There is no .exe file for it. There only seems to be a .dll file but it doesn't work to associate .jpg files in Bridge with a .dll file. How can I open .jpg files in Bridge with the default Windows Photo Viewer?

Intermittent, unpredictable inability to add or apply edits to metadata fields such as IPTC Core using Adobe Bridge 12.0.2 and preceding 12.0.1.246 release. This is particularly unacceptable when editing metadata of multiple selected images. Worse yet, there is no error message generated! You must check file by file, metadata field by field, to see if the edit was applied. This seems to persist in certain image files but not others. When only one file has metadata added or edited metadata, clicking the lower right corner “Apply” icon results in either:the added or edited metadata disappear from the field after a few seconds and the metadata is not changed, orthe added or edited metadata remains visible and the metadata is actually changed. Reverting back to Bridge 11.1.3.200 seems to eliminate the problem. Added or edited metadata are applied to the XMP sidecar file(s). Is this a bug in how Bridge caches writes to the XMP files? Windows File Explorer file shows all

Hi all, I am trying to sync the images I have saved in lightroom cloud into adobe bridge....it seems I can only import images into bridge from my computer or camera but not from the creative cloud? If I do import the images again from my camera, will they be duplicated in my cloud storage (and essentially take up twice as much space)? I want to be able to add keywords to my images and I'm worried that the images I already have saved in lightroom cloud will be missed? thanks

I am working in Adobe Bridge with large files like 27MBs and when I open them in Phtoshop they are reduced to like 5MB and my JPGs are being saved in the KB size range.....

Since I updated Bridge a couple days ago it won't open.  The CMD SHIFT OPT option doesn't work.  Is Adobe aware of this?  Where's the response?
