Is it possible to install bridge on D drive ( HDD 2TB )  and Ps on C drive to free up space on my SSD? 

Hello, is there any possibility to speed up the prewies of PSB Files in Bridge. (Windows10, Bridge 2020)

Cant open bridge at all. Not sure if it has to do with my photoshop carashing wit JPEG files and Tiff files.

I want to include json2.js to my main.jsx. They are in the same folder called "host". Both#include 'json2.js'//@include json2.jsin the top of the main.jsx file cause the extension to stop working. But this seems to be the right way to do it, so why it does not work for me?

Hi, I'm currently sorting out my iCloud photo library and notice there are a large number of .png files which are mainly iOS screenshot files.  Bridge generates thumbnails for absolutely everything apart from these .png files - it only shows the Photoshop icon instead.  Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Many thanks, Martyn

Hi all. I hope someone can help me with this. There are 4 or 5 of us needing to make files in this way, all on different machines, often running different versions of the software. We have a standard colour setting for RGB and CMYK which we use in PS, and this setting should be available in bridge to choose so that we can synchronise the apps. On some of our machines it is available and on others not (even though they are they same version of the programs). More signficantly, even when using the same profile, we are getting different result when exporting to PDF. I don't know why. The working profile we use is sRGB (because the files will eventually be used online), but the PNGs don't embed this profile (they seem to be able to embed Adobe 1998 only). So we save them without a profile embedded and then use the same profile in Bridge, which, if I understand it correctly, will display the images in the PDF with this profile applied. When I installed Adobe Bridge a window popped up asking for acces to the desktop files and I mistakenly clicked no.  Now it won't show my desktop files.  How to I undo this?

Hi,  andybody knows why my bridge has a kind of bug?   It doesnt show my images properly. I emptied the cache, instelaled and updated bridge. Nothing hepls. I thought is a problem with my grafic card problem, what would be really bad, but photoshop seems to work normaly.    Can somebody tell me what it is? Down there is an example.    Thanks.  

Hello, I noticed that on the newer Bridge versions the illustrator batch trace operation is missing. I hope this is not going away! I use it so often. I had to install an older version of Bridge (2020) to get it to work. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?Thanks in advance 

Mac os bridge in new folder > folder name change ..?

When we copy files to the latest version of Adobe Bridge, the file permissions are altered and cannot copy, delete, or open the file after the copy. We can copy files to the server using Finder no problem though. Tried Adobe Bridge 2020 and 2021. Tried copying to another one of our internal servers with Bridge and works fine. We are currently running Catalina and I know there are a lot of permission issues when using Bridge. We checked to make sure that Bridge has Full disk access and Files and Folders access but still no luck. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I spent a day updating the keywords on all my photos (around 20K). At the end of the day Bridge crashed and lost all my changes.I am now getting a problem with the "Message - Error writing metadata" on certain random files and when I try to change the keywords.I am using a Mac 11.4 with Bridge version 10.1.1.166. My files are on my local machine.Your help would be appreciated... Chris 

I have renamed a whole batch of photos using Bridge. They are sorted manually. However, when I import them in Lightroom they are in alphabetical order. I realise now that it is because they are saved in alphabetic order on the original PG folder and that is not altered by Bridge. How can I overcome this?

When I have bacthed rename the image files in a folder, then do an edit and remove a few images, I’d like to once again batch rename all of the remaining images so that the numbers are sequentially in order starting from number 0001, (example: “Anchorage 0001”). When I then do another batch rename using “Anchorage 0001” as the starting point, all the newly created files will have “_1” after the file name (“Anchorage 0001_1). This folder will also contain all the original files with their original file names. Is there a way to batch rename and replace all the original file names without the “_1” ending? I have a series of images created in Photoshop, all with dissolve pattern (color layer on dissolve blending mode) - but Bridge does not display that. It shows a completely differnet looking image in the preview. Why does Bridge 11.1 ignore the dissolve layer and does not show the same picture as Photoshop? What is this bug in the preview that changes the picture and how could I fix this?

I can not open my files in Adobe Bridge by clicking on the file, when I right click on the file it said I have rundll32 as the defalt to open the file what is going on?                                                                           Thanks

I have a relatively new install of the Adobe Suite and went into Bridge a few minutes ago. I have a sub-directory that contains numerous numerous other sub-directories benath it, but also has about 15 .jpeg and 2 psd files in the first directory. When I go into "folders" and click on the first directory I mentioned I get a message that says "No items to display." But, as I mentioned above, there are several items that should display, along with numerous sub-directories that contain literally hundres of items that could be displayed. I don't think I have done a very good job of explaining this, but I have never seen this problem before. Any suggestions?

Hi there,I noticed that since Bridge CC 2019 the thumbnails appear way sharper than in previous versions – I hope it's visible in attached screenshot. I'm on macOS 10.14.6 and tried it on two different macs. One of which is basically a new system and has a more or less fresh install.In this case the difference is not so apparent but I have a lot of images where it just looks terrible (product shots of packaging).I already tried setting different quality settings, prefere embedded, disabling the transparency grid.Edit: also tried resetting the cache via context menu, settings menu and by deleting the cache files directly.Does anybody know if this normal now or how I can restore the old behaviour? Did I miss a setting somewhere?Thanks!Jens

It doesn't matter what picture style I use. The images look different in LCD preview, but once they are uploaded to Adobe Bridge and they turn out exactly the same. It seems like Bridge are using some defaults and adding them to every images. How can I prevent this from happening?I have unchecked "Apply auto tone and color adjustments", but it didn't help.

I am using Bridge 11.1.0.175 on Windows 10. After closing, or even just minimizing Bridge, when reopening I must manually reset the workspace every time. It will not open with "My Default" workspace, but when I reset, it comes back just as it should be. I have always used the name "My Default" and it is only since the last two updates that this has been a problem.

I have bought a new Lexar sdxcII 128GB to using with my Nikon D780. The sd card shows on my iMac, but, BR will not read all the photos, sometime, BR will not recognize the sd card that is pluged in.I don't use a card reader, as I have no problem with my iMac reading the sd card directly before.Is this the BR problem or the sdxcII card problem?I put the card back to the camera, and it showed all the photos without problem...Can someone help me here please?  Thank you in advance.

I have used many versions of PSE over the years but now I only use it as a DAM. Backing up my 15,000 images takes more than 24 hours and I really don't think I can tolerate that for much longer. I have installed Bridge and Creative Cloud seems to have come along with it. My problem is that I cannot find how to load my PSE catalog into Bridge. I can import my photos from their folders but not the catalog with all its formatting. I set out to try and refine my workflow by using Adobe Bridge instead of Canon DPP for the initial culling of photos, and I am astounded at the bugs I have found in just a few hours. Adobe should be ashamed to release software of this quality, and I know software, having over 40 years experience.  - Preview quality is horrible- Review tool is cute, but unusable.  It really looks like it was designed by a bunch of kids.  Let me choose the size of the image I want to review. I don't need a cute halfmoon of my photos taking up most of the screen real estate. It also would not let me quit the tool and I had to reboot my PC. The review tool is useless in my opinion.- Almost every time I start Bridge I have to reset my workspace. Usually it contains nothing but a content window, ignoring all of the modifictions that I made previously.- Even if everything worked, the UI is clunky and does not adhere to Windows convention.  I have my taskbar configured for auto-hide, but wh

After using Bridge for a long time recently I went through the keywords.I came to the conclusion after going through I would like to start with the original keywords Bridge comes with after a new install.Is there a way to get the original keywords from Bridge? Why do I wanna do this??Well through the years I added/deleted keywords and I'm not sure if the keywords are still effective in my list. So I want to start with a clean list again, but I don't know the original keywords from Bridge.Thanks in advance!!

The main idea is to copy the path of a Bridge CC 2021 directory to the clipboard. Then pass the clipboard URL to an AppleScript to create new folders inside the Bridge directory. I have tried using the Bridge CC 2021 Utility Script Pack 3.0 -> Copy Path script but the Apple Script does not recognize a valid clipboard URL when using the Copy Path script. On the other hand, the Apple Script does work when the clipboard URL begins with the OSX copy function Cmd + C.       Is it possible to programmatically select the Bridge breadcrumb bar and copy it to the Mac OSX clipboard?Are there other options to get a Bridge file URL into the clipboard perhaps?
