As soon as i open Bridge CC 2019 my internet bandwidth seems to limited to a bunch of Kbps. I just updated it from CC 2018. In the 2018 version, for some reason, the software used at 100% my integrated gpu, and browsers did slow down. The 2019 version does not seem to have problems with CPU or GPU usage (at leas from what i see from task manager), but it kinda limits my bandwidth! As soon as i open bridge while watching a video on youtube or something i see the speed in my monitoring software falling down from 10Mbps to some Kbps. But i can't see any bandwidth usage in the task manager excluding the browser in which i am watching the video. This is really strange. While bridge uses the bandwidth i can't even connect to the local router admin page, it just does not work.I am on a dell xps 9560 and windows 10.Just scanned my system with malawarebyes and found nothing wrong.
To all the ACR developers , I hope this post will be read by you : If you wanted to “kill” ACR - you did the right move- I am a very heavy user ( and a teacher) of ACR since day 1. I am sadly realized today that this new version makes my workflow double time (and not beacause of "getting use״ to the new version reason)There are so many “shortcuts” that are now missing , if you are using the ACR with multiply images editing - your workflow is taking double time as I wrote.I will give you 2 case samples (2 of many more) :1- selective brush use to have “+” and “-“ on each editing slide. Now it’s missing. This effecting 3 slowing down issues-A- you cant “jump” In the slide by clicking +/-.B- If you go to next image, the slide is reset automatically. You can’t use the Same brush As you used in the previous image editing. This is BIG BIG BIG hassle !!! If you want to edit the with same Brush setting – you need to reset and adjust the brush. if you need to do the same editing on ne
Dear community, I am currently working on a project to push all the pictures from our products into a new centralised system. In order to do so, I need to enter manually a number of metadata, and I am trying to figure out a way to ease the process. I have been directed to Bridge, but to be honnest, my knowledge of the software is pretty limited. Is there a way to easily:- add filters for sorting?- extract the results (filenames) into a format that you be used in excel? The main thing I need to do is get the colours (CMYK, Pantones, etc.) for each picture, but depending of the file type, it is not available in the same fields. I did manage to filter by color mode, but cannot seem to export "just" the filenames, and I cannot figure out how to get Plates into the filters.Do you have any idea if this is feasible? If not, can you think of another (cheap) software I could use? We are not willing to invest too much for a one off exercise...Thank you for your support 🙂
I have a new PC running Windows 10. My thumbnails were showing up in Bridge until I went into preferences and changed the background color to a lighter grey. Then, they stopped working. I can only see the CR2 sybols in my folders. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge, installed two earlier versions, retarted my computer, re-checked and reset my preferences with my second computer's Bridge settings, increased the "do not process files larger than..." and everything else I've found on this page and the web. I am currently in the newest CC version of Bridge, but I've tried three different ones. I am very frustrated. Please help. Can't figure out how to delete this, but I read a new post and realized it was b/c I had gone back to the earlier version of ACR. I followed the Bridge recommendation and that worked...
Dopo l'ultimo aggiornamento Bridge non visualizza piu le anteprime dei vari file raw, RAF e ARW, Cosa devo fare??? E mai possibile che dopo un aggiornamento perdo il lavoro di anni????
Whenever I plug in the camera SD card or the portable drive I store photos on, Photo Downloader automatically starts downloading all files from them. This started with the latest Bridge update a few weeks ago. How do I turn this off. It is not in Edit- preferences, that I can find.
Hello Everyone, I have been using Adobe Bridge on Windows 10 to organzie and delete my photos. Ive spent about a week working on deleting duplicates and blurry images. I just noticed yesterday that all of my photos that I deleted, and emptied my recyling are now back as if the days and hours I just spent didn't happen. Ive seen that this has also been an issue for Mac users and there have been resolutions, but I haven't found any helpful tips for windows.
I just installed bridge. I have lightroom CC. Synching on lightroom works fine between all of my devices. Bridge does not show any of my files. How do I see my files in my cloud?
In Bridge, the thumbnails aren't showing. I didn't like the latest update (it would take way to long -- about 10 seconds -- to get the next image up in Camera Raw), so I tried to use Camera Raw 12.2 . Now, in Bridge, it will only show the PS icon. I've tried to make the Preferences give the larger (10000 mb) thumbnails, but that didn't work. Any suggestions?
I consistently experience Bridge become completely, or at least primarily, unresponsive whenever another Adobe program is busy. The most spcific and usual suspect is InDesign. Whenever it is exporting, re-numbering pages, group relinking, saving or other general common tasks, Bridge becomes unusable and freezes with a white screen (Windows 10). This also happens with Photoshop too, if its saving or opening or othr such tasks Bridge freezes. This is independant of whether or not Bridge was a part of the process. Like im not opening from Bridge, or exporting to a folder that Bridge has open. I can start Bridge after Indesign has begun a process and Bridge remains unresponsive until InDesign is done its task. This forces me to fall back on Windows Explorer to do any navigating through folders and keep working while the other program finishes its task. Why is this? Are there plans to aleviate this strange dependancy? Any tips to keep Bridge from freezing when another A
Can someone help me modify this Bridge script? I have used scripts to add file and folder names to the metadata description field and I am trying to adapt one of those scripts to add keywords. But when the keywords are added they end up with quotation marks around the result."keywords; keywords; keyword3" I think the reason is that I am not adding new keywords as part of an array but as a string. But I'm having trouble correcting that. Note that I do not get quotation marks when I use this line of code: Desc=Desc.toString() + "" + FolderName; And with the above line, the script adds the keyword but without a separation of space or commaBut when I modify the line to add semicolon and space I get the quotation marks: Desc=Desc.toString() + "; " + FolderName; The resulting keywords are like this "apple; testfolder" (in this case apple was an existing keyword that I want to keep and testfolder is the folder containing the selected files. Here is the code.
What happened to Bridge 2020? It's showing icons, not prviews.See Attached
Another update, another bunch of glitches hampering my productivity. Any suggestion on how to fix this? do i need to revert, yet again? Edit* i reverted and its working again, Adobe, please stop releasing buggy, untested software - your PAYING CUSTOMERS should not be used as beta testers.
When trying to access the Camera Raw editor in Bridge 2020, I get an error message saying "Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature. " However, I used to be able to use the editor previously so this is a new error. I am using MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 and Bridge 10.1.1 and I have a licensed version of Photoshop CS3. This error seems to have happened since upgrading to Catalina. CS3 cannot run in Catalina due to the upgrade to 64-bit technology. While running on the previous iOS I was able to use the Raw Editor. I am unable to find any discussion on the internet on this specific problem with internet searches so any advise will be welcome.
I just installed Bridge, clicking the icon does nothing. Task Manager says a Bridge process spawns, but it's immediately killed. I've added an exclusion in Windows Security, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've tried installing an older version, I've reset my PC multiple times. I've also tried running as administrator and running from terminal, nothing happens Edit: My PC InfoRyzen 5 3600RTX 2070 (non-super)Windows 10 Home Insider Build 20161.1000Nvidia Graphics Driver v451.67
Hi, I'm trying to figure out if Bridge might be a good tool for my project. I'm part of a small team that is using photos in development of a computer-vision product. We regularly have hundreds of new photos that we need to review, tagging them on photographic characteristics that matter for our product (blur, brightness) and on their content (for a simple example, does this image have a dog in it? a cat?). Once we've reviewed the image set, we release it to the computer-vision developers, who run automated tests on it by filtering it to certain subsets or checking how well their software's interpretation matched the human interpretation. Our team is distributed, not at a single site, not with a common file server (other than Dropbox). A couple of people act as image labelers and reviewers, and a couple more pull images for testing. You'd think there would be great tools for exactly this, and maybe there are, but I haven't found one. Many of them are focused on the act of rev
I can´t find the way to have "preview only sharpen" option on Camera Raw 12.3Thanks
Still another problem with CC Bridge that should never have been released in its current bug-ridden state. After doing my cropping and sometimes exposure adjustments in RAW, I go to then rate and weed the results in Bridge. Only none of the results are showing. XMP hidden files can be displayed but are not having the effect, so the images look as though nothing was done. Or after a long period of time, a row may show the effects. I press the space bar to get full screen, rate and arrow to the next one, and then after a few, no crop again.I tried clearing the cache and purging and enlarging the camera raw cache from 5G to 50G but no effect. This never happened in CS6, but of course the only reason I got CC was to read Nikon Z7 files which they wouldn't make available for CS6.
For a few years now, we have been having on and off issues with Bridge reading some of our camera rar images from one computer to another computer. The Camera RAW edited images seem fine on OG computer but once opened in Bridge on another computer some of the file's edits do not appear and image revert back to their "out of camera" form with all ratings and labels removed. Not sure if Bridge can not see the XMP's or some premissions are not allowed. If they are opened again in Camera Raw on "new" computer, it opens a unedited rar then proceeds to overwrite with new data when saved. We've tried purging cache several times on each computer, adding to file handing and reset settings / workspaces as seen in similar posts but nothing seems to work. We have this issue pop up a couple times a year so it's hard to pinpoint what the issue is. We usaully have to work around the problem and run the images seperatly from the respective computers they were edited on. Which is ti
The bridge-acr workflow is unusable after the update. - in bridge, image icon and image preview have different colors - in ACR the geometry/perspective control is bugged.- bridge uses 8gb of RAM being in a folder with only 40 items- in ACR you can't right click and zoom 66, 100, 200%,- in ACR you cant scroll photos with mouse wheel- in ACR, selecting few photos (shift+click) you may click the export icon WHAT ARE YOU DOING????It's a professional tool, we pay for it, damn.
Dear Adobe, You took out the Preview-only sharpening in the latest ACR update. Please restore it. Thanks.
The option to not apply sharpening to images when processing them in Camera Raw seems to have dissapeared in 10.1.0.163. How does one stop Camera Raw from applying sharpening to images sent to Photoshop?
Help? New ACR 12.3 Update has me in a mess.I like to soft crop images then save. But, I can't seem to crop with out a size? Whats up with that. I usually leave size blank at 300 dpi. But, I can't for some reason.
I opened bridge today and it had a pop-up asking if I wanted to see the new interface so I thought I would check it out. To my dismay all I saw was Lightroom's clunky interface, Does anyone know how to switch it back to the original Camera Raw editor? I tried uninstalling bridge and re-installing but that pop-up doesnt show up.
Just got the latest updates for both photoshop and bridge, I can no longer name folders in bridge. I have to go into file explorer to name the new folders when I want to seperate my images. That is annoying. Furthermore, not when I have both bridge open and photoshop it is maxing out the RAM I have in my computer ( I have way more then enough). Before the update not a problem with any program, but this is starting to became a problem. I switched back to adobe from another program for that reasons, now haveing it with these. What the heck is going on.....
