I prefer using Bridge to Lightroom's bulky (in my opinion) interface.    My workflow generally involves making Basic Adjustments to a single RAW file in ACR. Then I select multiple image thumbnail files in Bridge and control click (right click) the files and use the Develop Settings > Previous Conversion option to process all the files the same way. When I do this the preview thumbnail does indeed process the file. However, when you open the .CR2 (RAW) file, all the settings are reset to As Shot (no adjustments).  The same goes true if I use one of my Favorite Presets also accessable by right clicking an image thumbnail in Bridge. It just resets all the adjustment settings to 0.      {Thread renamed by moderator}    

I'm having trouble editing. I want to rate my images as usual and then carry on.. it's not letting me! I'm sure it's a simple setting but I cannot find it?

Is there a way to search for Headline in Bridge's Search function?I thought there might be a way to enter my own <tag>, but I don't see that either. Here's why:These are the fields in Bridge's Metadata.  Headline, Description and Keywords are nicely clustered together in the IPTC Core list.  Title is on the list, but further down.  Not a huge deal, but less handy depending on how screen space is arranged. I read the distinctions for these in https://photometadata.org/META-Resources-Field-Guide-to-Metadata.  I think my usage is consistent.                        Now let's look at fields in Bridge's Search.  The available list is much reduced.  Headline isn't even there and Title is called Document Title.  So there's the question: How can I search for just "Headline"?  (All Metadata will capture it, but that is obv

Hi, sorry to bother you, but I've looked through the Bridge search problems and haven't been able to fix the situation.   CS6 Bridge "search" function has stopped working .... it won't search for anything other than a folder that has recently been opened.  For instance, I'm working on a project for a local immigrant program.  When I searched for the Key Word "Chinese" no photos were selected (I was searching in the right folder, which I double-checked.)  So I poked around in the photos and found those of Chinese immigrants and opened that folder in Bridge.  Just for the heck of it, I closed the Chinese folder and did a Bridge search.....this time the folder opened.  So I then searched for my granddaughter, Ellie.  No photos showed up....and I'm certain you can imagine I have about million photos of her now that she's 7 years.    I'm using a Dell XPS 8700 with an i7 processor and 24gb of RAM.  The OS is Windows 10 64bit, version 1903, wh

Since updating to the latest version of CC there is an issue.Having selected multiple images in bridge, hitting the return key is now not opening the selected multiple files into ACR, it opens them singularly into ACR.  Double clicking the images opens the multiple images into one instance of ACR.  This is super annoying as if I forget and try to open 20 images by hitting the return key, it then opens one image into ACR, then I close that and it opens the next and so on and so on, annoyingly time sapping.  Any ideas anyone? TIA

Hi, I haven't use Bridge for a couple of years now but I remember how convenience it was every time I plugged my iphone into my Imac desktop and it loaded up images automatically. After a few time I upgraded desktop sofwares (whenever the computer prompted me) and I lost that convenience connection, and I had to start using the Image Capture to download images files from my phone to a seperate hard drive. I'm still prefer to use Bridge for this purposes, may some one help me if it's possible now that I can still use my iMac Sierra 10.12.6 with Bridge CC 2017 to help download images from my iphone 10 XS Max (it's packed with images now) to a hard drive?  So if I use Bridge now, I got this message "This device does not contain any supported media" (Plz See pic) Thanks in advance for your help!

When I have a few images in the preview area when culling in Bridge, I click on the magnifying glass on the subjects eye to see what is sharper and its normally at 100% howvever its at 800% and I can seem to get it back to 100% - Help please

Actually the photo was taken by me, I'm using Adobe Bridge for the insertion of keywords and I inserted in the line copyright status covered by copyright and my name and surname, I should not insert copyright status ? I await clarifications on how to work.

I have the latest versions of Bridge, Camera Raw and Photoshop installed on my PC, but when I try to merge several images into a Panorama, the software starts spooling before delivering an error message: "Could not merge images". I have tried different variations (i.e. smaller number of pictures, smaller file sizes, etc.) to no avail. The symptoms are consistent. Needless to say that it was working fine in the past, but because I have the automated software updates in place, I cannot confirm when the issue started to occur.Any advice?

Adobe has written a Runtime request to close program as soon as it opens for cs5 what do you think of that?

Hi! I am new to cc2018.  I can work with the cell sizing and spacing but I don't want my header to sit on top of the first cell.I want it at least 1/2 inch up.  I have played with the margins but that adjusts the entire document. I can't see where I can adjust the height of the header.  I can do it in Photoshop but I don't want to go page by page through my documents.  Thoughts?

Using Windows 10, whenever I try to rename a file in Bridge an annoying keyboard pops up. Is this an Adobe issue or a Microsoft feature ? I’d really like to stop it happening.

I have created a Library in Bridge CC 2019 with Jpegs containing metadata - Keywords; Description; IPTC Subject Code; etc. Bridge search can find files looking into the file info. My issue is when they are synced up to the Cloud the search from that interface is based on filename alone nor do I see alot of options in the File Info box.    My question is: How can I preserve the rich metadata so that files can be searched by specific XMP fields once the images are up on the cloud? Or to put it more precisely... can the Creative Cloud environment be used as a DAM?   Thanks   PS I can use Dynamic Media (Scene7) to search this way, but I'm hoping to find a cleaner web interface for other parties.

I had to reinstall Photoshop CS6 from scratch and am now getting the following Bridge error message and have no idea how to fix it:   "The file "xxxxx" cannot store xmp metadata. No changes will occur." where xxxxx is the folder name where the jpg files are located. The error appears whenever I select a keyword that I want to search for.   Is there anyone out there that can tell me what I need to do to fix problem - I would very much appreciate it.   {Thread renamed by moderator}

What I would like to see with the Photo Downloader within Bridge is that you can right click on a folder and then select from the context menu "Download Photo's here...." followed by the Photo Downloader GUI with the selected folder (pre-) filled in.   Or is this possible to do already?   Will save me a number of clicks and browsing through folders within Photo Downloader.    Using Bridge 9.1.0.338   {Thread renamed by moderator}

After upgrading Mac to Catalina (Version 10.15) Bridge CC 2019 "export to PDF "in Output is not saving files with extension so it does not automatically open in Acrobat. If I physically add the extension then it behaves as expected. Is this a bug in Mac or Bridge?
