There are already several questions about Br being very slow or constantly non-responsive. I myself have the same problem in both my installations (in quite good rigs - Windows 7). The gradual deterioration of Br's performance has begun since CC 2017 and after each update it's getting worse.I have tried all tricks, from cache to unchecking scripts and defautling the program, from compatibility mode to starting from the Cloud app, etc. Nothing really works. I have seen some improvement, but Br remains so slow, that I cannnot work with it. I already miss CS6.So @Adobe, should I end my subrsciption and get back to CS6, οr can you do something about it?

I have several PDF(s) that have more than 1 page that I'd like to make a contact sheet for. I know it's possible to do by first extracting the PDFs as single page PDFs. But is there a way to do so directly in Bridge, without actually having to extract the pages first? So just using the multiple page PDFs as they are.

Hello, I'm trying to set up something on a shared network to be able to search keywords on one machine that was inputted on another. All the raw footage/images are stored on a SmallTree server. I am able to input keywords into the files through bridge and Im even able to see the keywords. The problem is I have to go to the folder that the files are contained in first and let it cache/load, then i am able to search for those keywords. With various camera folder structures, this would take forever. Is there a way around this? Thanks for any help!

Today my Adobe CC app notified me that a BridgeCC update was available. After selecting the update, the download appeared to proceed normally, but failed to install. On several retries, the update stalls at 91%, then displays an "update failed" message. Clicking on "Learn More" results in message that "Unable to move the file. Rename the file and then try again." Having no idea what this message wants me to do, I clicked "More information." Nothing happened. No error codes were displayed at any point.Tried selecting the Adobe Bridge CC 2018 icon on the desktop and got "Windows cannot access the specified device path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them: (I am the Administrator.) Windows 8.1So, I can't update BridgeCC through the app and have no access to Bridge CC through the desktop icon. How or can you do a sort so all folders are at the top of the list followed by files in alphabetical file name order?I'm running Adobe Bridge CC 2018 Version 8.1.0.383 on an iMac with macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6.

Hi, I have some Adobe CC 2017 titles installed, and I'd like to install some Adobe CC 2018 titles but I see some Adobe CC 2018 titles require a newer version of Bridge. Is there any known compatibility issues with Bridge 2017 and Bridge 2018 installed on the same machine?I haven't been able to locate this information online...Cheers

I have been using the Adobe output module within Bridge as part of my workflow, for easily creating web galleries of images for clients. With this latest update to Bridge CC 2018 it isn't there anymore.How can I get this back or is there an alternative way to easily create web galleries of images in the photo suite?I realise that LIghtroom is able to do this but it doesn't fit in my workflow and I rarely use it. I shot & output my images in Phocus, batch process into various formats in photoshop and then create web galleries via Bridge.

the last update cause me trouble with my CPU and RAM performance, making them work  at 100% all the time, the OS i'm using is WIN10 1803. SOMEONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM?

I've just tried to update Bridge but it keeps failing with error code 146. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Creative Cloud desktop app but to no avail.  The error message is as follows. Hi there,This bug has happening for some time - I believe it started in Bridge CC 2017 but it is still present in this version. So I’m not sure if it is 100% related to Bridge.Situation: the shortcut Cmd+Q to quit Bridge works fine, up until the moment I've hidden the app. After that Cmd+Q (Quit) won't work to quit.So I start Bridge - Cmd+Q works fine to quit again.I start Bridge, hide it (using Cmd+H), bring it back to foreground, and Cmd+Q doesn't do anything anymore. I have to go to the menu bar and select Bridge>Quit Bridge. After I quit and restart the app, Cmd+Q will work again until the app has been hidden.I've checked my system shortcuts, but nothing interferes with this shortcut. Cmd+Q works fine on other apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign,… all quit when using the shortcut). Also all other shortcuts do seem to work in Bridge, it's just the Cmd+Q that doesn't do anything.Like I said, it might not be related to Bridge since trashing preferences or reinstalling doesn't ch

Adobe Bridge is a great tool to browse images, but why can't I add images from Bridge to my Creative Cloud image library? It would make sense to have this feature.I spoke with someone in tech support and they suggested I add the user folder "Creative Cloud Files" to my favorites bar, but that doesn't contain all of my asset folders (which I have organized in CC library).Is there a way to do this?

Well I'm a fool and stupidly updated to macOS High Sierra without thinking.And now I have the issue where Bridge crashes when I'm using Full Screen Preview. I did a quick video showing the crash. I start browsing my images using Full Screen Preview. I'll go in and out of preview mode a few times (anywhere between 1 to 20) and then it crashes. But it crashes every single time without fail. The entire screen goes pink (I'm using an external monitor) and then my computer locks. When I log back in all my applications are restarted and Bridge reverts back to the folder I last opened before I started browsing the folder I was in before it crashed.I take it I'm going to have to go back to the old OS while Apple and Adobe sort this out? Any other options here?

I've updated to the latest version Bridge; CC 2018. I set my preferences to have the downloader open automatically once my iPhone 6 is connected to MAC. I do not get any message indicating I have to 'trust' computer. No matter what I do or how many times I restart my phone and computer, I cannot get this to work. Please help.

Windows 10, 64bit.Just got new camera. I loaded my photos and of course it didn't work so I installed the newest RAW patch. All of a sudden all of my thumbnails are previews are blank. Restarted, purged the cache and reset preferences. Even tried reinstalling. Nothing works for loading previews or thumbnails. But if i click on a file, it'll load in Photoshop. Help!

I used to be able to build easy contact sheets in Adobe Bridge CS6.  The latest version that I am running (2017 Release - 7.0.0.93 X64) edition does not allow an easy function.  On the version I am running the Output Mode is not visible in the standard workspace.  I have checked under Windows>Workspace and the Output option does not exist.  When I go to Edit>Preferences>Startup>Scripts there is not an option there for creating workspace.  Is there a work around to create PDF contact sheets?  I can create Contact sheets in Photoshop, but they look unprofessional and have zero versatility that existed in PDF Contact sheets.  Thank you in advance for any direction you can give

After last updates, I've discovered that new Camera Raw presents (which I should add to favorites to make them appear under Edit/Develop Settings) didn't shows in Bridge without restart application It's very inconvenient.Well let me describe my actions:Open Bridge, select raw photo, double clickOpen this photo in Camera Raw, edit settingsSave this setting, add it to favorites (as described in Camera Raw Version 10.3 won't show "apply preset" anywhere...)Back to Bridge, select other photo, right click - Develop settings... and see nothing, new present didn't appear! Need to close BridgeStart Bridge againSearch for other photo againThat's drives me insane! Why would you do that? I feel like I want to murder who did this update!

Habe bei Bridge folgende Fehlermeldung beim Start: Der Vorgang konnte nicht erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden. Kann im Programm selbst nicht ändern da die Meldung jegliche Handlung blockiert. Läuft auf einem PC mit Windows 8.1 64 bit.

wenn ich verschiedene Kameras im Einsatz habe, die im Datum synchronisiert sind, lassen sich die Fotos daraus nicht in Bridge unter "Ansicht > nach dem Erstellungsdatum" sortieren.  Zunächst erscheinen die Fotos der einen und darunter die Fotos aus der anderen Kamera, jeweils nach dem Erstellungsdatum der jeweiligen Kamera, aber eben nicht gesamt Sehr ärgerlich und lästig, alles manuell zu machen.Danke für Tipps und Hilfe!
