When trying to use menu Edit> Develop Settings> Clear Settings with a PSD file that selection is grayed out and not usable. It works with all other file formats (raw, JPEG, TIFF), but not PSD even with 'Maximize Compatibilty' applied.Bridge 8.0.1.282, Camera Raw 10.3, PS 19.1.4, Windows 7
I'm new to Bridge and would like to import my existing keyword tags (People, Places, Events, and Other) from my old version of Photoshop Elements (14) so that I not only have the list of tags but also so that they are applied to individual photos in Bridge as they are now in the Elements organizer. Can anyone advise me on how to do this?
I organize all of my image files by renaming them beginning with the date taken using the format YY/MM/DD. For some reason, the newest version of Bridge inserts an extra space before YY which screws up my filing system. I can't figure out how to remove that extra space in the batch tool program. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
i'm just trying to rename a folder full of images in Bridge, as I do frequently when processing images from photography jobs, and strangely they wont rename. It worked a couple of days ago and nothing has changed other than me downloading this batch of images (there are over a thousand RAW files so it is a lot to manage but it has always chugged its way through them quite happily in the past with no problems). However, after loading up the images initially, I did get the dreaded message stating my Startup disk was getting near to being full so this may be related to the issue. For this reason, I did try to rename just two files as a test and these would not rename either. I may be missing something obvious due staring at the screen for too long. Any help would be gratefully received.
Hello! Is it possible to make various jpg files from psd files, instead of open one by one in PS and save as jpg??I tryed to use "lote" ("batch", in english), but doing this I have to use a photshop action, and I just want to save the files into jpg in its original appearence.
When browsing my Canon 7D II with Bridge, I'm unable to get a preview of my .cr2 photos or read the metadata without importing them to the computer first. If I browse the camera with Lightroom, previews and metadata is working just fine. Is this unsupported by Bridge?I have cleared the cache and updated Bridge and Camera Raw to the latest version.Bridge 8.0.1.282 x64Camera Raw 10.3.0.933Win 10 Pro 1709 16299.125
Simple enough, just like parent and sub categories when dealing with most lists/rows/options, usually the option key or shift key while clicking on the top parent will toggle between hide/uncheck ALL and show/check ALL in most apps.So when my Bridge is reset or what have you, I’m forced to tediously uncheck one filter category at a time, of the ones I will never use.Is there a quick way of performing this? Or is there a file buried somewhere that allows me to set default filter categories to show/hide?Always been a peeve of mines that Bridge forces such unnecessary tedium. Thanks in advance.
So i'm trying to use Bridge to keep a modest photo collection organized and having some very frustrating issues.1) When i right click on an image it says i have the option to copy and paste from the program, but when i try to do so into say an email or a word doc it doesnt work.2) the Search bar doesnt work. I have selected "search in folder" and not "search stock image" i figured that one out, but it doesnt seem to be able to find images unless i have found them manually already. Kinda defeats the purpose. These are two issues that i am finding to be deal breakers on my ability to use this program. I dont think im trying to push a square peg in a round hole here.

Mac wireless keyboard commands do not work with Bridge CC 2017 - I am able to use the arrow keys and set labels, but not able to hit enter, to select all, to enlarge with the space bar, etc..... I am using Photoshop CC on Mac OS 10.13.4
I have an ongoing problem (several actually), i.e. it's been happening for years now but Abobe's tech support is either useless or just non-existent.Firstly, Bridge quite often fails to respond to any clicks. I can activate Bridge (i.e. make it the foreground application) by either clicking on a visible part of the window or using the application switcher to bring it to the front but then it will not respond to any further mouse clicks.I need to go to another active application (any app will do) and then go back to Bridge before it will respond to mouse clicks. The next problem I have is that if I have more than one window open in Bridge I can quite often be browsing one of the open windows and then - without any input from myself - one of the other open windows springs to the foreground. If I double click on a file just as this happens I end up opening a wrong file (and this has happened several times). One of the open Bridge windows will sometimes even leap to the foreground when I am i

For the past couple of days, Adobe Bridge stopped working on my laptop. When I try to launch it, the window opens up blank and stays white until I force it to quit. I am using the latest version of Bridge ( 8.0.1.282) with Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4 I have tried resetting preferences, the default workspace and purging the cache with Command+Option+Shift. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing and it still won't work. Please advise.
After opening Bridge today after a long break My whole photo collection has disappeare! I had filed them into h8bdreds of folders etc and vaguely remember Adobe Bridge saying it was syncing my photos - 24,000! Now I have just six from 2914. Help please.
Hello All,I used to be able to open my Phase One RAW files in Bridge. With the latest CS I can no longer do that.I used to find it convenient for batch processing. Any ideas? ThanksAndrea
When magnifying my RAW images in Adobe Bridge they blur and stay blurred. I can't recover the non-blurred image. I, fortunately, still have them on my CF card. I've never had these problems in the past.Is there a solution?
Had to reinstall CS6 and can not get ACR 9.1.1 to update to read Cannon 1DX files. I get and error message that it can not open file ending with Camera Raw.8bi
When I export multiple images to PDF from the "output" workspace, the resulting PDF file does not show the images when opened. What can I do to see images in the PDF?
Bridge CC2018iMac 27" with retina displayI use the screen shot tool in the Mac OS and have been for as long as I can remember, it's part of my work flow and research process. I just got a new iMac with the retina display (not because I wanted too, I had too) and my old screen shots are too small to use and/or read.I understand the retina display native resolution and the PPI of the screen/display and how it correlates to the PPI in the image. Which is what's causing the problem (in PS and AI too...but that's another topic). What I need to know is how to make Bridge show those older screenshot images in the preview pane large enough for me to see and use them. Or, is there a way to set the zoom level of the preview pane?
My coworkers and I add keywords to thousands of photos and video each year. We started adding keywords in 2015 and now it is 2018. We started noticing this year as we search by keywords we created our results are zero or only photos/videos from this year. I pulled up the files from previous years and it now shows there are no keywords associated with the images. What happened to our added keywords and is there a way to recover them in the photos we previously added to? How can we prevent this from happening again?
Updates are killing me. I have several hundred jobs that I access through Bridge. This folders are labeled by year going back to 2012. My labels are no longer showing in thumbnail view.
My Bridge app has a custom top menu with submenu items. Each submenu item calls a separate Photoshop script. For example:My Bridge Menu Call-- New Project Scaffold -> projectScaffold.jsx-- File Prep -> filePrep.jsx-- File Versioning -> fileVersioning.jsx-- Layer Assembly -> layerAssembly.jsx I am considering consolidating the Photoshop scripts into one and havin
On the latest Adobe Bridge CC2018 8.01.282, when I label an image with, say, Select (red) the label that gets entered into the XMP file at XMP:Label is different to that of Bridge CS5!AS a result the new XMP:Label cannot be read by Lightroom (even with Bridge defaults). Details as follows:Bridge CS5 adding a select (or red) label (option 6) results in XMP:Label=Select"Using Bridge CC2018 adding a select or red label (option 6) results in XMP:Label "$$$/Bridge/Preferences/Label/"Red=Select"It is still visible as "select" and gives a "red" label in Bridge 2018 but is unreadable by Lightroom CC Classic 7.2. What am I doing wrong or is this a bug?I'm running on a MacBook Pro with Sierra 10.12.6
I'm trying to view Output but it's not even an option in Preferences. How do I get that option?
I have an Mac OSX Automator app that I would like to open from a custom Bridge menu item. The menu item is setup. How do I define the file path in a Bridge script and invoke the file open command? The Automator app resides in in a local directory and the idea is to avoid having to navigate to the file location through Bridge. Can a Bridge script open a file that is not visible in the Bridge panes?
