Dear Adobe Bridge CC Team,in the new feature summary for the new Adobe Bridge version (2018) the new File info is advertised as followed:"Improved File Info dialog - Enhanced in this release of Adobe Bridge CCThe improved File Info dialog (File > File Info) is now similar to the one available in Photoshop CC. When you edit metadata in the Metadata panel or assign keywords to a file, the same information is displayed in the File Info dialog, and vice-versa."Serious? This basic - and in older versions already working (at least in my experience) - functionality is highlighted as "enhanced" new feature? If you really think about it, you will also find it strange, I am shure. The biggest news here is, that all the good things of the old File info dialog (Adobe Bridge CC 2017) are gone:1.) no resizing of the separate text fields (e.g. Description and Keyword) anymore,2.) it is not possible to delete or rearange the single category sliders anymore3.) and the color scheme is absolutely
While attempting to "re-organize" my assets I decided to "move" the CC folder that is/was in my USER/COMPUTER NAME location (Windows 10) using Bridge to another larger HDD. It showed the status bar and when done the CC folder appears to be in the same location, but all files/assets are gone? Looking at my files "in the cloud" some backups are there, but I'm not sure if "everything" is there. How can I get those files back (where did they go?) and how does the CC app sync my files to the cloud off any machine I use Adobe on so they're available on-line as well as off-line?Thank you,Derrick
I'm trying to create a JSX script using the built in webaccesslib in Adobe Bridge CC 2018 that allows users to upload selected images by FTP.I can connect to FTP OK with the webaccesslib FtpConnection, but when I try to connect via SFTP, I get a "protocol not supported" error despite there being examples of SFTP connections in Adobe's own documentation.Has anyone managed to get SFTP connections to work using FtpConnection?
Bridge CC 20188 previews have horrible JPEG artifacts - macroblocking and halos:All the relevant settings (unless I miss something) are checked - Generate Monitor-Size Previews, Always High Quality, Generate 100% Previews. Tried setting Use Software Rendering on/off too.It seems to be a rendering bug. The actual 100% preview JPEG file in "...Adobe\Bridge CC 2018\Cache\full\..." folder is quite large (13.5 MB, 7952 x 4473 px) and manifests no artifacts when rendered in other applications. Another variant of the preview file in "...Adobe\Bridge CC 2018\Cache\1024\..." folder is much smaller (889 KB, 1920 x 1080 px) and does have the artifacts. Is there any way to make full size preview files used for Full Screen Preview and Slideshow?

Since 11/1/2017 the Export-Feature in Bridge stopped working. The Window doesn't show saved export presets. When the Date of the computer is set to an older Date and Bridge is restartet everything works fine.
Hi there,so I use the Windows Version of Bridge 5.1...NO CC.I found a keyword Counter for each Foto/Illustration...but did not finding a keyword Counter for the hole Folder. When I am in a Folder I could go to VIEW --> SORT IT --> NAME...TYPE etc. but there is NO Chance to sort it by the number of keywords. To hover on each file is really a pain, when there are thousands of files in the Folder...I want to sort by the number of keywords: for example 70 at the top...69...68...!Is there any script given, or some other Chance to make this happen ?Thanks for your time. All the best,Frank
I have installed Adobe Bridge(CC 2018) which has replaced the version I had that was so hard to read because of the tiny size of everything. 2018 is fabulous BUT it has destroyed my Desktop settings and appearance; I have tried for hours and hours to fix the problem but I am just not "techy" enough. Please help me ASAP as I cannot update my website without Bridge and Photoshop (Photoshop 2018) and all the tutorials are FANTASTIC ... this latest version of Bridge is destroying me.Message was edited by: Branched and title edited by Moderator
When moving or copying a file to another folder in Bridge, I always have to browse through a tedious number of folders to get to the right one. I really could do with an option to paste in a path. This seems like something which is really basic.Am I missing something?
hello everybody.i'm experiencing quite an unusual problem with adobe bridge's infofile (cc 2018 edition): when i click on the folder button and all existing info files appear, there is no way i can have them to sort out in alphabetical order. here's a screenshot.has anybody had to deal with something like this?thanks.
Hello,Apologies if this has been covered, but I'm new and somewhat on a deadline. I have a batch of about 1,000 images for work that have been tagged with a keyword and then an ID number. They are currently in uppercase, but I need them in lowercase. The keyword and the ID number are also in quotations (to qualify them as a single keyword together). Example:current keyword, including quotation marks: "BLSSI.COM_PERSON_ID=964820"ideal:"blssi.com_person_id=964820"If it weren't for the quotation marks, I think I could figure out how to batch-rename them, but since they are in quotation marks, it makes for every file (which all have different numbers at the end) being its own, separate keyword. Does that make sense? I'm looking for a way to just change the letters within the quotation marks to lower case instead of upper case.Is there any hope for me? I can also work in Lightroom, but I'm not savvy with scripts or coding. I'm on a Mac with Bridge 2017 and Lightroom CC (I can upgrade if nee
Where do I find my new custom output setting I've just created. I'm a Windows user and have looked inC:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CC 2018\OutputModule\ContactSheet\UserTemplateand only the default settings are there. I would like to share my sheet with an off-site colleague as we are not on a network. Also, is Bridge the best Adobe product to create Custom Contact Sheets. Thanks
we work on two PCs, fotos are stored on a NAS, is it possible to see the rating which I do in the Adobe Bridge of PC1 in the Bridge of PC2? I thought that the rating is stored in the foto's meta-information but it wouldn't show on the second PC. Any other way to sync the ratings if not via the the meta-informations?Both PCs use the same CC account. Thanks for Your Help!
How do you sort photos by tag in subfolders when you have a folder selected.
When I right click on an image in Bridge and choose "Open With", I get a choice of many applications. Many are duplicates and some are applications that I no longer have on my Mac.Is there someway to delete some or all of this apps and start over. Thanks
Please help, I have a heavy Holiday load of RAW images to edit ASAP.This appeared when I tried to open Camera Raw"Bridge activation status cannot be determined (ATM Failure)"I'm an artist not a geek, I have no idea what that means or how to fix the problemplease help
Hey all,I'm currently doing mundane tasks, so my brain is in rapid fire mode right now but...I'm away from my machine so I can't play around and figured I'd ask a few questions and start a discussion.Playing with my workflow I recently discovered "Collections" in bridge. I love it because I can sort images in separate folders the second I pull them from my camera while still keeping them in separate folders and not having to create a wildly intricate shortcut tree in Win explorer.So..my question: is there a way to create primary collections and then subcollections?I.e.:Live Music— Bands—— Band A—— Band B—— Band C—Venue—— Venue A—— Venue B—— Venue CI know you can do something like this is Lightroom, but I'm still learning in Lightroom and am not looking to moving over completely until we can batch export to PNG. (If we can with the latest update PLEASE let me know). Also wondering if there's a way to display images that belong to multiple collections.I.e.All images belonging to: Live Mus
Is it possible to link changes made in Bridge to Lightroom Catalogs?
When i bring certain photoshop files into bridge they export to PDF in a very very low quality. We use these sheets to proof images and they need to all print out at the same resolution. We recently upgraded to the Creative Suite - previously we were using CS6 without issue. Here's a screenshot of the PDF. These files are both photoshop files at the same resolution (300dpi).Here's general info about the file. And here's my computer's specs.
I am using Windows 10 and all of the sudden Bridge's Search engine is not finding anything with the 2018 cc version.I get a "No Items to display" errorI have tried reinstalling. Also installing 2017 back.I tried starting Adobe Bridge pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) but I did not get a settings dialog, only the Windows warning me Adobe is making changes to my PC, so I let it do it's thing. I'm guessing it is resetting preferences.I also purged all the cache and nothing.I still have the issue. I don't know what could it be. Anyone else has this problem?
I would like to have the files in filename order while I go into manual sort so I can rename fiiles without having them jump around. But even if I delete the .bridgesort folder, the order returns to a manual order I set a long time ago. Is there a way to switch to manual sort mode without activating this history. Or is there a way to delete the history? (on Mac)
After the latest update, Bridge is becoming not just an annoyance, but a serious liability.Generating thumbnails for .ORF Olympus files takes, quite literally, HOURS (on a 2017 Mac Book Pro with 3,1 GHz Intel Core i7 processor). Apparently, to see the thumbnails with any decent quality I must reset the preferences EVERY TIME I open Bridge.Besides, it doesn't recognize .MOV Olympus files. When using Dowloader to download a card with .ORF and .MOV files, it just ERASED the .MOV files from the card.Any advice, or as an Olympus user, should I just dump Bridge for good as a convenient one-stop tool for downloading, viewing and rating images?Best,Ignacio Yúfera
Hi there, I have downloaded PS and Bridge CC yesterday on Abo service. When I open a photo in bridge and process and save it in Camera Raw and want to return to Bridge it does not respond anymore. My system is WIN 7; old Bridge CS 6 and PS CS 6 ran fine for years. Never had such an issue. Can anyone help me? Tku, MT
Hi, I've been working in Adobe Bridge CC 2018 to edit photography and when I return the next day, the ratings I've assigned aren't there anymore. This is the way I've been working for years on various versions of Bridge and I have never had this problem. Can anyone help?
