Porfavor, necesito ayuda con este error, que ya me tráe. Intento aplicar un controlador a mi marioneta, para un grupo de capas que deben funcionar en jerarquías. Es el controlador de Principal / Secundario, Pero cuando lo aplico, y ya debo asignar la propiedad a las extremidades, en este caso quiero que mis manos cambien segun se levanta el brazo, solo me sale disponible la propiedad de "Secundario" y Principal no aparece por ninguna parte en la miscelánea de mis propiedades de capa. No se que hacer.  

i wanna record my puppet in character animator but it extremely slow even that i'm not adjust anything in the toolbar, rate record still 1s-1s. i'm delete it and install again , it back to nomal but in a short time and back again. I know that it happen because it want to record frame by frame. but i don't want that. i wnat to record it like nomal in realtime. And the bitter than is i cannot find where to adjust that mode. Character animator has potential to be a great software but it's incomplete and missing a lot of basic modes like all the basic options of setting video and in my experiene it doesn't has auto animations like wagging tail . we can do very much thing with this animation.

This problem has been bothering me since version 23.0, the video is version 23.6.When I imported the mp3 and used the Compute head movement from speeche function, the character moved like this.and adjusting the face's Pose-to-Pose Movement parameter doesn't smooth out the movement.How to set it to smooth the movement?

new project wont open it just shows loading sign but does not open after it stops

Hi,I downloaded additional puppets from the adobe website. They downloaded as .puppet files.  When I double clicked on them they would import and open up in Puppet Maker where I could use them to make various puppets. I imported 10 or so new puppets into Puppet Maker that way. I then downloaded some additional .puppet files and now when I double click on them instead of loading the puppets into Puppet Maker they simply open up in they open up in Character Anmimator Record window on a timeline and do not get saved within Puppet Maker anymore. I want to edit the puppets in Puppet Maker just like I did with the first ten I loaded but its not saving them there anymore. I am using Adobe Character Animator 2024, version 24.6, Pro Mode. I am on Windows 11 desktop. Attached are 3 screenshots. One shows all the puppets I imported into Puppet Maker by clicking on downloaded .puppet files. The next shows a new batch of .puppet files and my double clicking the drumbot.puppet.&n

No change after updating AMD chipsets, display drivers, etc. has fixed this. It's just keep crashing repeatedly recently. Ideas? 

Hi guys, I've been using Character Animator for four years without any issues, but lately, I've been experiencing a real problem. When I try to record puppet movements, the software lags terribly.Here are my specs:- Asus ProArt Studiobook- Windows 11 version 22H2- 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX 2.20 GHz- 64GB RAM- NVIDIA RTX 3000 version 551.52 graphics card- Character Animator version 24.2During recording, it feels like the software is frozen, with movements capturing only once every five seconds. This lag only affects puppet and audios, not camera movements.Oddly, when I'm not recording, everything runs smoothly. I've tried these fixes:- Reinstalling the graphics card driver- Restarting my computer multiple times- Compressing files- Changing file locations- Clearing the computer cache- Reinstalling Character Animator- Restarting project (with only puppet and audios)None of these have worked. Even when I shared the project with a colleague, he faced the same issue.Is this a

I can't run the puppet maker. It gives me an error. I've tried reinstalling it but it didn't work out. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Every time I open the program this message appears: I am in basico mode

No puedo abrir ninguna marioneta ni tampoco el creador de marionetas. Tengo todas las aplicaciones actualizadas.

 

This happens all to often in Adobe products: everything is hyper conditional. I'm trying to learn a new Adobe app and I search for tutorials online (or even use some tutorial provided by Adobe).  Then I start the tutorial, an option covered in the tutorial is GREYED OUT, and no explanation or contingency reference is offered.  I've NEVER USED THIS SOFTWARE BEFORE.  WHY WOULD A BASIC FUNCTION BE GREYED OUT ALREADY?Even if Adobe has a perfectly reasonable reason why this is the case: PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO OFFER GUIDENCE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO MIGHT BE STARTING WITH A GREYED OUT MENU.  It's not an OUTLIER issue: stuff like this happens ALL THE TIME in Adobe products.  Please adjust your instructions accordingly.  

My puppet is almost perfect, but if the puppet is dragged too far left or right along with the hands and feet, the hands and feet draggers do not stay where they were dragged to when I try to drag them again. So when I click on the hands and feet when the character is too far left or right, the dragger glitches out and tries to go to the original position and tries to bring the character artwork with it. This makes it hard to animate the character. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Hello there,I'm having some trouble tracking my face onto a puppet of which I have already added lip-syncing to from audio. Whenever I press the record button, the playback slows down and I can hear some static. When I finish the recording and play it back, the face tracking and audio is out of sync. The face tracking has been slowed down and goes beyond where any audio is.I have attached a video and image to hopefully better explain what I am experiencing.Any help would be much appreiated!(Please ignore my strange creation in Character Animator) 

Hi, I regularly uses the "Compute Head Movement from Speech" feature in Character Animator, and since I've updated to version 24.2, the "Compute Head Movement from Speech" would stop working after around the 2:00 mark in my videos, so I've reverted back to version 24.0 and it is fine. So I guess this could potentially be a bug that might require some attention? Thanks!

I just downloaded Character Animator 2024 (24.2) and it is not reading my integrated camera. I have restarted multiple times. I have assured the camera access is on and open. I have read the forums, watched the videos, and tried my spouse's computer (it worked). I have checked that the camera is selected in the hamburger (three lines) menu in the panel. I have made sure no other programs are accessing the camera. I have run a hardware scan and everything is working properly and all the drivers are up to date (even the GPU, which needs to be checked through a separate program). However, on my machine,CA still says "Waiting for Camera."This is the only computer I am able to use for this work. Buying an additional camera is not an option for me right now. I would like help in resolving this issue so that I am able to use this program with my computer.System Details:Lenovo Legion 5 ProWindows 11 Home, 23H2, 64-bit, x64-based processorProcessor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 G

I am using the motion library well by applying it to a puppet called Blobby provided by Adobe. This time, I tried to change the shape of this Blobby Puppet and apply it in the same way, but there was no response at all. When I apply the body and limbs to the behavior and use the motion library, there is no response. Even if I delete all the behavior items and reapply the body, limbs, and motion libraries, there is no response at all. When applied to other puppets on other sites, it works as a motion library, but Adobe puppets such as Mega Robot and Blobby do not work, so there appears to be a problem.       

My files don't work anymore due to these errors that appeared. I have not made any changes to my files. Though they are on Dropbox. Would this have any effect on it? Not had issues before this. Any ideas?  

Hi,I first imported the project into After Effects, but it just takes too much rendering time in real time. I can do the same thing in Premiere, so I did that, but the scene seems to be sped up to 150%. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks

Please help! I can't open up Character Animator because  I get a system error: 'the code execution can't proceed because OpenCL.dll was not found' I am writing this after googling, uninstalling, and reinstalling, and trying to find some advice here. It wasn't working for me.

I have a puppet and I want to use auto-swap for its left arm.I have used Adobe Illustrator to create all the arm positions and I named them correctly. I have the leader/follower behavior turned on. I have draggable handles, one is the leader and the others are the folower. I have given all of them the same name. I dragged the arm Group into the triggers panel (into the create swap set area) and set the checker on „auto-swap“.But when I switch to record-mode and try to drag the arm, it doesn’t work. If I try to move it, it just jumps into one stiff arm position, which does not move at all and also isn't able to bend. When I try to move the arm, the other (the right) arm starts to move, even though I'm not even near it with my mouse pointer. Has anyone observed similar behavior and know a solution for it?

Hello, I am running Character Animator on a Lenovo Legion Pro 5 with the following specs:Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700HX 2.10 GHzInstalled RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)I am working on an animated project that is set at 24fps, but it consistently actually runs around 11fps. There are two characters in the scene w/ 4 head triggers, 6 emotion triggers, 1 action trigger (raising a hand), 3 body triggers, and 12 hand triggers for each hand...and 13 layers on the timeline (incuding 8 background items) and two audio tracks.  I was able to animate the first character with no issue, but the hands on the second character are starting to deform when I try to transition between them. It is not consistent in the same spot, and the deformation seems to be a very slow transition to the next trigger. What can I do to help solve this issue?

Hi -I have a character with a simple replay animation of the character waving. The replay has both a trigger to change the hand to a wave hand and the dragger recording.  Replay is set to stop / sustain replay... but when I hold down the replay trigger key, the dragger animation suspends, but the hand swap trigger goes back to the default hand.  I've seen posts about this in the past but no solutions offered.  Any suggestions?
