Hello there I'm in dire need of help. Here's the issue. I can load the program fine nothing is wrong with that however when I start a new project or open an old one it has about a 98% chance of being unusable. whenever I move the model in the viewport, add a layer or anything else other than paint on the mesh it freezes for 2-6 seconds and even longer if I decide to click in that time (classic program white haze freeze/crash screen) I've had this issue for nearly two weeks now I have tried absolutely everything. from reinstalling drivers, changing TDR timing, closing every other programme, changing cache locations, changing program location, turning off Threaded optimization in the Nvidia control panel, disconnecting other monitors, and changing refresh rate, and more. I'm really at a loss for what to try next.  I have attached a log of it happening, I really hope someone can help me. thank you guys! System:Windows 11 Processor - AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-C

2 weeks ago, my substance painter 2024 (steam edition) was working as intended. however today (2 weeks later), I opened the program to start a new project and it kept crashing upon launch.I had already reinstalled substance 3x, restarted my pc countless of times, deleted my assets/ materials folder thinking that may have some sorta corrupted files in them. updated my GPU drivers, but in the end, doing all of that has not done anything to solve the issue.I do need to get this issue fixed ASAP as I depend on substance painter for my work.I can provide the logs file if needed as well. when im using black mask in fill leyer and im using polygon fill when i select leyer other leyers get selected too. 

I have re-installed the software 3x, tried older versions, tried several nvidia drivers, changed the size and location of the local cache, tried several backup files and several models, uninstall onedrive, rarely works for half an hour afterwards, so impossible to work !! I have already contacted adobe support once, they rewrote my machine and still no change.

No matter what format I try , I cannot for the life of me get a model into Painter. Solidworks user. HEEEEELLLLLP 

Может кто подсказать что за ****** ошибка, и как ее решить "[ResourceImage] Can't serialize empty surface"С начала все хорошо сохранялось автосейвом, а потом начались красные надписи, скорее всего из за того что добавлял и удалял новые текстуры в сабстанс, сейчас когда все удаленные текстуры заменил на 1, эти ошибки пропали и осталось одна, в переводе "Не может сериализовать пустую поверхность" 

In version 9.1.1, the objects I made transparent or the glass 2d view is not transparent. When I do it in the old version, the 2d view comes transparent. I am sending the sample output in the attachment. please fix this error.

Hi there, I've seen some past threads about this issue and the responses on those don't seem to help me with my issue. Let me elaborate. When I launch Painter 9.1.1 I get the Adobe splash image followed by an unresponsive white screen before it does nothing or I have to end task. This occurs when I my laptop (Alienware m15 r4, Windows 11) does a Windows update. I've been able to restore previous updates for the past year, but now it's not letting me restore updates any longer. I can revert my Painter to before 9.0 and it can run, but I can't open my Painter files that were created in the newer version which is something I need.What can I do here? 

Hi,I have a low poly with good UV's and when I bake it with the high poly it looks good in orbit view, but the normal map that exports is not the same, like it was baked out of the low poly smoothed version.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with painting -  I cannot paint on paint layer nor on any of the masks. I'm using UDIMs, and my UV is on 1001.  I'm not really sure what else can it be, does anyone have any insigths? Thanks in advance.

Hi,someone an idea to solve the projection deep Problem with the Path Tool ? There is no Projection Deep 0 ... the distance is enough but it is on the other uv

Good day everyone! I'm a bit dissapointed, since I have to realize that we, SP users have to face great issues at baking specially due to 3D scan objects.  The issue:- high poly mesh: 60 mill tri (clean mesh)- low poly mesh 2mill tri (clean mesh)- 9 UDIM (lets be honest, not a high number)- normal bake goes true, but from AO the line dies. As soon as I try to bake anything but normal it crahes. I'm quite losing the point of using SP if I can not manipulate in a procedural way my textures by using the baked out maps. High to low is baked based on naming convention (_high _low) Since (side note) SP bakeer has some issues due to position attribute if I let it work based on relative to bounding box - also a big question mark, but at least it can be handled. My pc spec: ryzen 5950x, 128 Gb RAM, RTX 3060 Ti (I know that is my WS's weak spot, but 9 udim and the mentioned meshes should not build a cap for this gpu)All drivers fresh (nvidia studio) SP is also updat

Ever since I installed the new Substance Painter update today, I am unable to zoom in by scrolling my mouse wheel while holding ALT.In earlier versions this didn't matter, and since rotating and panning requires you to press ALT anyways, it's much easier to keep it pressed while zooming, too.However, since this update, nothing happens when holding alt and scrolling, instead you need to zoom in with the right mouse button which is slower, or let go of alt.Please at least give us an option to revert this, since it slows me (and I assume others too) down a LOT, and since ALT+Scroll isn't a shortcut used by anything else either.

My scene is 3x UDIMS - quite small I thought. However when I switch my viewport Textures to 4K, my VRAM usage spikes and continues to climb over the next 1-2min until it uses all 24GB of my 7900 XTX - sometimes this doesn't take long at all though (less then 1min). Once VRAM is full, obviously Substance breaks and viewport becomes corrupted - substance slows down to a craw, is unresponsive and I have to restart. Lowering textures to 2k fixes it but I didn't think it should be using the whole 24GB of VRAM for my scene at 4k viewport? I'm running Substance 3D Painter 9.0.1 on a 7900 XTX with up to date drivers. I have 64GB of system Ram.Is this expected behavior or is something broken?

On zbrush, I used multi-map exporter to export displacement map, normal and cavity - tiff 16 bits. Only the latter two work inside substance, while the displacement map is just all black. I would like to use the displacement map as a better cavity mask.

Hi, I'm trying to troubleshoot this issue we've seen in our pipeline which goes PiXYZ -> Substance painter -> Unity. We export a mesh (FBX) from Pixyz, and import it in Substance painter for baking from hipoly mesh and texture painting. We then take those textures, and import them together with the exact same mesh into Unity but can't recreate the look of the mesh as seen in Substance painter. Instead, the normals of the object look fragmented or erroneous.  However, If we instead EXPORT the mesh from Substance painter and use that mesh together with the baked normal map the mesh looks fine in Unity. All other import settings are harmonized.  This leads me to assume Substance painter does something to the mesh or normals upon import, but not declaring quite what. What happens there?  Original FBX with substance textures in Unity, looking bad.  Re-exported FBX from substance with substance textures in Unity, looking good. 

Hi, Can Someone please help as early as possible? I have an issue after mesh as my character made on Zbrush skin details are missing and all features are smoothened. I have also used MAYA for topology and UVs. Checked the name and file size and tried some other ways to solve this issue but could not do it.   Can some one please help me with possible problem here? Thanks for you help in advance   

Hello all,i have just intsalled Substance Painter Version 9.1.1Applikation will not start, even not as Administrator.I am Running Windoes 10, with build shown below, on an older PC System Do you have an idea what may cause this error.Note : I am using Steam Version of Substance painter before i intsalled 12/22 or 01/23 I can't rememner what this version , build of Substance painter was that runs with my configurationThanks in advance 

This could be considered a bug as well as a partial feature request:   bug: When right-clicking to reload a texture which was updated externally, substance does not apply this re-imported texture on the model automatically, the user still has to drag and re-drop it onto a material slot to be applied.  If one texture is applied across different materials, or if there are multiple textures that have been updated externally and applied either on one objects/materials, would increase this tedious and unecessary task even further of draggin them individually to their various mat slots. feature request: Ideally in a future release, any externally updated textures should be auto-detected and reloaded, not only as a resource in the project, but also updated on any applied objects/materials to see them in the viewport. Otherwise keep up the great work, -Mike

Hi, I am trying to export transparent textures from SP but after the recent update they are no longer transparent. I do the same as I did before; metal-rough-with-alpha-blending, adding opacity channel. Export as 2D view and textures comes out solid as a rock. Can someone please help me out? It would be greatly appreciated 🙂 

When I try to open a file or create a new file in Substance Painter, it gives a critical error and closes.My Laptop:Intel Core i7-7500u 2.70GHZAmd Radeon R7 M34012GBRamI was working about a work. I need a quick answer, please. 

Whenever I try to switch my texture set to the set with more layers my Substance just completely freezes, or kills the tab and closes itself. However, when it decides to only freeze, my cursor still changes when pressing the camera movement keybind and when I hover over any item in the toolbar it shows the full description popup. When minimising the tab and opening it again it whites out the whole screen, and when trying to change the window size by dragging the corners of it, the interface will just cut or add white space in the enlarged area.I'm able to open the texture sets fine for the others, however one specific set with the bulk of layers and textures just causes the freeze / crash.I've tried reinstalling , moving the file to other locations (since it's been mentioned onedrive can cause issues before), I've tried pretty much everything I can think of. The software was running fine yesterday, then this suddenly started happening after i reopened the saved file to come back to it
