Even if I change the autosave settings such as the 'autosave interval' and press save, the settings revert to the default when I restart the application.Please make the autosave settings remain as configured even after restarting.
I'm just reporting so either AMD or Adobe will take this into accountability for once despite users keep saying everywhere that this application doesn't work well in AMD at all. Substance Painter keeps crashing the video drivers when working with many layers and not so many. Most likely when exporting textures and despite of that, the huge amount of ram that eats from the system doesn't make any sense when you are only working with 3 or 4 layers with a full textured character. Issues:If the gpu reach 100% the gpu crashes if you export textures in 4k + padding, crashes tooIf the ram reaches 100% same crash (I have upgraded the ram and crashes still happening!)undervolt untouched and touched same crashes. I was painting in a layer the other day and the whole screen freezed then turned black and have to wait until it fixes by itself with a driver crash window. A few days ago I requested the code for Adobe Substance 3D For Students and Teachers, I followed the steps and registered and after a few hours later received the code, but when I tried to use it on the "identit-e" page, it indicated that the code was incorrect, after several attempts the page ended up blocking my IP. I contacted the "identit-e" technical suport by email and they told me that the code did not appear in their system but my IP is still blocked. I have already requested that they unblock my IP but I still have the problem that the code is incorrect, I need help to solve this and be able to study
The "Send To" feature is missing from the file menu in Substance Painter. All software is updated and freshly installed today from Adobe Creative Cloud with official licensing. I've restarted my PC multiple times. I need to send it directly from substance painter to stager. Thank you.
HelloI have a question. When using Substance Painter, I can use it without any lag for the first 15-30 minutes after launching the app (up to about 16 seconds in the attached video). However, after a certain amount of time, the app starts to slow down. Specifically, whenever I use Alt+left click, Alt+right click, or any other combination to move the viewpoint, the initial response stutters and slows down (starting about 20 seconds in the attached video). This also occurs when I reduce the resolution to a drastic level, such as 128.After this occurs, restarting the app and opening the same project always fixes the issue, but the lag returns after a certain amount of time. This "initial response slowness" issue sometimes occurs when changing transform values, etc., while using AE.This issue occurs regardless of the project or resolution. I keep getting this error when I bake in painter:[BakingProcess] Can't create a resource from the baker result: Failed to write temporary image at C:/Users/16508/AppData/Local/Temp/SubstancePainter-Tmp-DJZjnZ: Unknown errorI've tried baking on other computers and it works just fine. It is only my computer that isn't baking the models correctly and I get stuck with this error. I get this same error with other models not just this specific file. I have no idea how to fix this I've already tried getting help from other professors at my university.
Greetings, i'd like some help with the following problem. Substance crashes keeps crashing when doing the simplest things. The program doesn't actually close and i can still save the project, but the viewport is filled with black and green squares and i can't interact with any other funcion. Sometimes it only takes a few seconds after launching the program, but the crashes ocurr mostly when applying white or black masks, changing the view of the camera in the viewport or simply when moving around. I'm not the most tech savy, so i'm not sure if the following data helps. Hi, since the Painter can be quite heavy, I need to change the autoback save folder on an other drive.I do that from the Javascript menu seen in the images bellow. I also make sure to check the box that says to always use that folder. The issue is that this setting doesn't save. It reverts to it's initial default folder every time I open Painter. If I forget to do it, my C drive can get eaten alive by all those very heavy Painter files. Am I missing something here? any help would be appreciated. Hopefully this can be fix! Thanks!
Getting an error when saving project or trying to save smart materials:I've seen folks on here suggest File -> Clean. My Painter (version 9.0.1) doesn't have a "clean" option but it has a "remove unusued resources" option. I assume that's the same thing? In any case, it doesn't let me save either. Desperately seeking help so I can close project.
When creating a proyect using a template that has a shader asigned to the texture set, it only applies that shader to 1 of the texturesets the imported mesh file has, leaving the rest with the default asm-metal-rough, when it should apply the shader chosen in the template to all texturesets.Attached gif shows how that happens even with the default PBR with Alpha Blending template shipped.
Hi everyone,I'm new to Substance Painter and I'm having trouble with my custom mesh. I can apply materials like roughness and metallic just fine, but I can't paint directly on the mesh or use masks — nothing shows up when I try.I’ve checked the UVs and they seem correct (everything is in the 1001 tile, no UDIMs). I also made sure to disable automatic unwrapping when creating the project. The mesh loads correctly, and I can see it in the viewport, but painting just doesn’t work.I’ve tried using paint layers, different brushes, and switching view modes (Material, Base Color, etc.), but still no luck. Everything works perfectly when I use the default mesh (Meet Mat), so I’m really confused.Could this be a shader issue or something with the texture sets? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance

Hello!Ive been working in a Substance Painter file with no issues till recently. Whenever I wanna edit the file set to 2k, it crashes. It worked fine before, not sure what has changed. This issue doesnt happen when the file is set to 1k or below. I have a strong Razer Laptop with an RTX 4080 and have worked on very heavy files before (I work in Video games.) I hope there is a solution to this as I need to export my file in 2k textures! I've attached the log.

Hello. I am using Substance Painter 11.0.2. I know it has an update, I haven't downloaded it yet because I don't want to waste my bandwidth downloading an update only to have to roll back to before 11.0.2. It seems the Substance Painter in Windows Mode is too big for my screen. I'm using a standard 1080p resolution screen on my laptop. How do I fix this?
It gets stuck every time I click on the texture set section to adjust the resolution or look at other models, and all versions of 11 I tried with the same result. Who can save me?

Hi,I recently upgraded to a new ASUS RTX 5090, and I’m experiencing an issue with Iray in the latest version of Substance Painter.All system and GPU drivers are fully up to date.When I set Iray to render only on the GPU (disabling CPU rendering), the viewport freezes and displays “Iray warm-up” in the bottom-right corner. The program doesn’t crash, but the rendering does not proceed — the image remains frozen indefinitely.If I re-enable CPU rendering, the frame immediately unfreezes and Iray starts rendering normally.I have tested this with both the latest Studio and Game Ready NVIDIA drivers — the issue remains the same.This problem did not occur with my previous GPUs (GTX 1070, RTX 3090, RTX 4090) — they all rendered fine using GPU-only mode in Iray.Could this be due to Iray not yet supporting the RTX 5090 architecture?Is there a workaround or upcoming update planned to support this GPU?Thank you in advance!

When I create a new Tab from a Saved Search, and position it where I want it to be, it is forgotten when restarting Painter. For example, I want to have an undocked tab of my brushes on my second monitor, but every time I restart Painter, I have to do the entire process over again. If I dock the tab in the main application window, it remembers that, but I want it undocked on my second monitor. Saving my UI Layout doesn't help.
In Painter 11.0.1 I'm experiencing a bug where the UI is updating incorrectly. If you have a scene with multiple shader instances in it and have a textureset active using a shader instance that is not the first one in the combobox there is a problem. If you switch to a debug shader in the viewport (like "Normals"), the Shader Instance widget will go blank, showing that no shader from the scene is currently used on the textureset. When you set the debug mode back to "Material" the expected behavior is that it returns to the original Shader Instance that is assigned to the current textureset. However what actually happens is that the widget updates to just show the first shader instance in the combobox list. It doesn't actually break shader instance assignment, but the UI does not match what is actually assigned to the textureset. This is causing some serious problems for us as we have a tool that watches the contents of this widget to update our custom U
