Hello, When I try to use the Eydropper tool when coloring in a path in Photoshop, I get the error 'Could not use the Eyedropper tool due to a program error'. (translated from Dutch). I added a video of what happens as an attachment to this post. It only shows this error when I thy te recolor a path (rectangle or such). The normal Eydropper tool works just fine. Anyone having the same problem?
Content Aware Fill doesn't work when you use crop tool and only move the image.The newly created space of the image is not being 'Content Aware' filled. It's being filled with Background color instead, despite "Content Aware fill" option being selected.Video example: https://streamable.com/f5ry59
Yesterday the beta was ok, but it was updated automatically today and now after starting the PS will freeze with no CPU activity. If there were some files to be loaded - let's say I wanted to edit 3 files from Lightroom - those files are opened first and then the PS freezes. I am not sure what causes it as it doesn't respond to any input, so I cannot change any settings. I am on Windows 10, 64GB RAM, NVIDIA 3080 12GB. This wasn't happening in previous betas or regular versions (I can still run 25.3.1 easily). (EDIT: Fixed typo in the title)
I have encountered some difficulties with the pen tool in Photoshop 25.4. Since the latest update, the pen tool does not work as it should. For instance, when I try to remove an anchor point, the convert point tool does not switch on automatically. Also, the eyedropper tool appear when i press ALT button. These problems are affecting my workflow and productivity. I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this error. Thank you for your time and attention.
The following Photoshop UXP panel crashes Photoshop, try it in e.g. UXP Developer Tools playground: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <body> <img src="https://files.catbox.moe/vc7acj.png"> </body> </html> (the manifest file needs permissions to the image host) "requiredPermissions": { "network": { "domains": [ "https://files.catbox.moe" ] } } The file is a PNG file with 8-bit indexed colors. Trying to display this type of file completely hangs my Photoshop process, requiring manual process kill. Photoshop version: 25.4.0 UXP version: 7.3.0 Operating system: Windows 11
It might be Photoshop Beta-only bug. I tested the behaviour in both PS versions I have installed: 25.4.0 (Beta) - error 25.3.1 (Current latest stable) - ok Steps to reproduce:1) Start PS and create a new document 2) Paint anything with the brush to confirm it is working3) Window -> Arrange -> New Window for Untitled-14) Try to use brush again -> "Could not use the brush tool because of a program error" I am not sure in which beta it was introduced, I haven't used this function for a while. I am on Win10, NVIDIA 3080, 64 GB RAM. In both version the "Disable native canvas" is NOT checked. I tested changing some GPU settings and the GPU compositing have no effect, but I can turn off the "Use Graphics Processor" and that seems to "fix" the issue (but makes PS hard to use 🙂 )
Windows 11 desktop; Photoshop Beta V. 25.5. m.2464 When I drag a layer in one Photoshop file to another Photoshop file, the layer is not transferred when the files are docked. When I arrange the files vertically, the traditional drag-and-drop works as expected.

Only occurs with BOLD, EXTRABOLD and BLACK sizes. I hope they fix it soon 🙂
Version: Adobe Photoshop (Beta) 25.5.0 MacOS Ventura 13.6.3 (22G436). I'm using the MacOS built in 'Dark Mode' if that is relevant. The icon for 'Exposure' is now missing in the adjustments tab, it seems to be replaced by a blank grey square instead of the +/- icon. See attached screen shot and note the fourth icon from the left on the top row, between curves and vibrance. Cheers 🙂
Hi ( sorry German ) , Photoshop Beta 25 NOT Save JPG, the Jpg comes Later and the saved Picture have no Picture Thumbnail ! Iam Roll Back to 24.7 and all works Fine, whats your Problem ???? Thanx and greets
Seit dem letzten Update sind die Ergebnisse der generativen Erweiterung extrem schlecht. Das ursprüngliche Bild ist deutlich zu erkennen, Muster werden nicht nahtlos fortgesetzt etc. So sind die Ergebnisse leider nicht zu gebrauchen.
Photoshop Beta 25.4.0 Release. Right clicking on layer and selecting "duplicate" then setting the destination to a different document results in a "Could not complete the Duplicate Layer command because of a program error. However, the duplication does occur correctly.
Spot Healing brush tool mode not displaying properly in toolbar, version 24.7.0.

The colour triangle is broken in the new version of photoshop, now it doesn't respond to the pipette colour selection.

Can't figure out how to get rid of the brown popup that will not move. Asking me to update PS.

The state of "Show layer mask badges" is not saved after restarting Photoshop. If I uncheck this option and restart (just close and reopen) Photoshop it reverts back to checked and the masks are shown. Windows 10 x64 Newest Beta: Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.2.0 20231024.m.2374 4ab9439 x64
I have loaded the latest Photoshop (Beta) 24.6.0, version and have tried to use the new "Generate Fill" feature. I have tried various files on two different computers (Dell and ASUS) and the "Generate Fill" box remains greyed out. I have checked the box in the Preferences >Plugins screen "Enable Generator", I have trieed PSD and Tiff files, I have tried 8bit and 16bit files, I have tried small resolution images. I have booted and rebooted the computers. But no matter what I do, I can't change the "Generate Fill" box to allow any input. Is there another setting I need to change ? Thanks Dave
After selection is active, I cannot use the generative fill button. It's visible, but greyed out... I already switched from german language to english without success.. Please advice. Thanks ! Patrick
I am have a problem being able to share images on my procreate file to photoshop. I used to be able to share it as a PSD and PNG and now it doesn't do any. When I try to share it the photoshop Home Screen pops up but not the image I shared. Is anybody else having this problem.
I should add that attempting to add the release version to the Full Disk Access pane in the Privacy & Security system settings pane only results in the beta being added, even if I remove the beta first and then add the release version. It just pops back to the beta.
