Lasso crash on macOS Sierra

The ~ ( tilde ) shortcut to view mask as grayscale stopped working. I can see the layer mask as a 50% red overlay by pressing \ (backslash), but not as a garyscale. and I usually go around both view modes when working on masks. I have already reset photoshop settings but it did nothing.

(This is in Photoshop CC only) using the alt+delete or cmd+delete to fill a layer on the second artboard or above causes that layer to expand to include all the other artboards. The color does not affect the other artboards but it is very frustrating to see such a large image outside the artboard and also when trying to align other objects. This image shows the bounding box, which should only encompass the bottom left artboard, extending out over all the others.

Create blank document, create new layer, draw any shape, create new layer, switch to mixed brush, set sample all layers. Paint any shape. Now click on create mask on that layer. Photoshop stop responding.

Hi.http://i.imgur.com/gT7RNaE.gifvShift+Alt scale from corner on a 45 degree rotated object is acting like scale from side (please take a look at transformation in the end of gif).  The same behavior with rasterized images and smart-objects. The solution for me is to rotate object to about 45 degrees or to apply transformation. Not very friendly to me, because I would like to scale using rules that working on other rotations and because non-proportional scaling is a feature I use less frequently. Is it supposed to work so or just a bug? If I want to scale from side of boundbox, I just apply transformation. That's what I did all the time. Best regards,Aleksei

In PS 2015.5 I can't adjust the size of paragraph text bounding boxes ...anyone else running into the same issues?

When i'm working on a PSD and i go save a copy as JPG, all my layer comps suddenly have a ! next to them. Is this behavior intentional or a bug?

Loaded up some PSDs that I had created in Snow Leopard after installing Lion and they looked fine... except for one thing. Anywhere that I used Helvetica Neue Bold there were no spaces in between words anymore. This issue doesn't occur in anything else other than Photoshop (I've actually also seen it in Illustrator). Tried clearly Adobe font cache, multiple times... no dice. It would be very awesome to get a solution on this because it's preventing me from using that font, which is used quite often.

Photoshop CC 2015.1 Release, Line tool (U) reverts back to Square tool everytime a new document is open. This used to remain on the previous selection (Line Tool). Very annoying with the latest release. Adobe please address.

Please, Please, Please make the "Rasterize EPS Format" dialogue box remember the last used settings. CS3 did this, then CS4 didn't. I was hoping CS5 would have rectified this issue. This would save me LOTS of time. Thanks.

Photoshop CC 2015.5 Fist off, I'm glad to hear that there were improvements made to the built in Generator. I'm sure they are wonderful. Unfortunately, I do not get to benefit from them because the majority of the layers I have named with the Asset Generator syntax now refuse to export.I have a photoshop file with several artboards. They are the same size and represent different screens in a user flow. I did this so we can leverage the device preview and artboards-to-pdf features.Each artboard is named with generator syntax to produce a "screen preview". Each artboard also contains layer groups named with generator syntax. Some of these groups are nested within other groups in a heirarchy because the screens can get pretty complex. In this screenshot, only previews/Preview_Transition01.png is exported. Transition_Curtain_Logo.png and others fail...These all exported nicely in CC 2015.1. PS CC Version: 20150529.r88 x64 on iMac 27" Late 2013 - 32gb of RAM When creating a new document that empty, then pasting an element in and save file. When trying to File > Export >Export As the preview always states "Image is empty." You must close the file and reopen it to be able to use Export As.

All the brush tools work fine with the mouse. But when I want to use my Wacom Tablet, steps are showing in history panel, but nothing happens on the image.. I did try reset the preferences, reset tools, re-install photoshop 2015.5, re-install wacom driver, but can't solve the problem..

I've just been upgraded to CC from CS6 and it used to be that when navigated between documents their position would remain the same. Now Photoshop seems to be choosing an arbitrary position for the documents so when I switch back to them I need to use the hand tool to reposition them to where I want. This is a real annoyance when working on multiple layouts in different files. Something to note is that this is only happening when I'm using a two-monitor setup, not when I'm working on my laptop screen alone. The image below shows what's happening. For context, I have all my palettes open on my laptop's monitor and my attached Thunderbolt display is only for my tools and artboard.Any idea why this is happening?

Come on...every new update brings curve balls to people who depend on this software for a living!Its nice to have new features and so on,but why changing things just because you can?Why change Refine Edges and introduce new bugs?Why mess around on how path points are shaped? Can someone please explain whats the logic on having on same path some points where when you click you grab the left "handle"  and then others are grabbed by the right "handle"?This are all things that slow people down, as if it wasn't already difficult to meet often impossible deadlines!Want to fix something?Fix the damn bug that corrupts files when for some reason any blur filter doesnt get rendered on smart object in16bit files, rendering the documents useless.

Photoshop CC 2015: Printing dialog window opens always in standard size. If you enlarge the window, it opens again in standard size in the next printing process. If you have a big printing volume it really could bother because it is too small! I think this wasn't in older versions.

Photoshop CS6 beta - Some years ago I made a bunch of actions to speed up my production workflow. They're so good, now I can't live without'em. I started in CS1 maybe, where I was able to use F1 key for actions. Altough in newer versions of Photoshop we cannot use F1, my old actions loaded into even CS5.5 still worked, overwriting the F1/Help command. Which i really don't need, 'cause i'm a pro 😉 In CS6 beta this doesn't work anymore. I cannot use F1 for actions. However I can override F1 in preferences / keyboard shortcuts. So what's the point of disabling F1 for actions, and allowing for keyboard shortcuts. Please let me use any F key for action panel shortcuts!

In the recent day's it work for me, so I think only the last update could cause it.If I use in a common mask the "blur"-function in the property panel PS show's it correct. But if I save it and look in LR for it the blur-effekt isnt present. Also if I save it as jpg from PS or LR the blur is vanished.

Photoshop CC 2015 - I'm using Generate to export .jpgs and have noticed the quality settings result is hugely different outputs from the Save for Web dialogue generated files.Here's an example where the Save for Web (legacy) dialogue exports a decent looking 12KB jpg at 11%.Even at 1% .jpg quality, the 10KB output isn't too bad.The same area exported via Generate at 11% (generate-11-percent.jpg11%) is 6KB and revolting.Why aren't the results comparable?Any help greatly appreciated.

When typing a font name into the font dropdown to quickly change fonts in Photoshop (CC 2014), the first letter is automatically highlighted, causing it to get erased when attempting to type a whole font name. Hard to explain, harder to title, excruciating to try to search for (especially since this site seems to be having some problems today). If there's another topic for this, please do point me there. I've attached a couple screenshots that probably explain this better than that paragraph, and may help any Adobe personnel recreate the problem. Step 1: Click on the font list, then start typing. First letter gets highlighted after being typed. Step 2: Continuing to type a font name causes the highlighted first letter to be replaced, erasing it. This only seems to be an issue in Photoshop - Illustrator and InDesign have not presented this problem yet from my experience.

Upgraded to Photoshop CC 2015 to discover the healing brush no longer functions correctly. To demonstrate this issue simply create a new document, fill it with black, create a blank layer above it, select the healing brush (not the spot healing brush) and set sample to 'current & below' no healing on the blank layer, you will see white outlines where you have healed.

Wrong translation in "action settings" (czech language)"Control key" is never translated as "Řízení" there should be "Ctrl""Řízení" is something like driving car or managing some process.

When cmd+tabbing between Photoshop CS6 and Google Chrome, Photoshop document windows remain visual on top (but inactive). The web browser window is called up over other applications, but remains behind Photoshop. The problem seems to only happen when switching to Chrome. Photoshop ver 13.0.1 Mac OSX ver. 10.6.8 Chrome ver: 16.0.912.75
