Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.9.1 20240610.r.626 e3aae35  x64Operating System: Mac OS 13.6.7 Steps to reproduce:Create a path (pen tool or shape tool) on a layer with content. The goal is to use the path to erase the content.Using the pen tool or path selection tool, right click and “Stroke Path > Erase.”  Expected result: The path is stroked as per the erase tool settings. I have been using this method to create fine details in lineart. For example, parallel lines of consistent width, such as in the attached screenshot.Actual result: The path is stroked as a brush with the foreground color with a feathered edge.

This has persisted through the last few updates. I just got the latest and tried again and the app still freezes. Select File / Open to open a file.In the Open dialog window, right-click. (Right-clicking should bring up a pop-up menu to sort files, create a new folder, etc.)Photoshop hangs. Hi! I've been following the same routine with my renders for almost two years and never had this problem. The issue is that when I open the Camera RAW editor, everything works fine, but once I accept it as a smart filter, it looks different in Photoshop, as well as when I export it. I'm uploading screenshots. I hope this helps because this issue is driving me crazy, and I've already tried the usual fixes: resetting settings, changing the color profile... and nothing works. 

I have found that in larger files, when I tap my 'Zoom' hotkey from my Brush, it activates Zoom... for a fraction of a second, before reverting to the Brush. This has caused a significant workflow slowdown. Using the current version. I am on Windows 10

Bonjour,Un bug très ennuyeux depuis la dernière mise à jour :Quand on veux zoomer avec la barre espace et la touche commande mais par une mauvaise manipulation on appuie seulement sur la touche commande pour déplacer l'image verouillée, un bip retentit avec message d'erreur, jusque là c'est normal mais l'affichage des coordonnées de déplacement reste affiché !Voir image jointe.Obligé de sauvegarder, quitter PS et relancer...D'autres personnes ont aussi ce problème ?? Mac Mini M1 16 Go - Ventura 13.6.7 

I have mapped Z button as foreground color picker (very useful for painting) and it stoped working after recemt update (new selection brush tool update). I have checked shortcuts, re-mapped. Tested other shortcuts - looks fine.  Tried older photoshop version 24.7.4 - everything works fine. Anybody got this issue? When I open Camera Raw to procces a image, it says (Camera Raw requieres graphic proccesor acceleration to edit photos).  The computer is a ASUS Book Pro lap top, Window 11, the graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce RTY 3060. I have been traying to go into settings and check camera raw preferences>Performance>Use graphic proccesor (Off) can not put it on auto. To my knowledge which I am not tech everything looks like it should.  What can I do to make Camera Raw editing work again? Please Help! 

Anyone experienced importing RAW files into Ipad PS ending up with dull colors in the imported images. I did repeatedly updated some sample images in RAW editor doing nothing about 10 times for testing purposes, resulting in a grayish image with almost no colors at all. Source data: Sony ARW (RAW) and DNG files (preprocessed with Topaz gigapixel)  with the same result. Ipad version of PS 5.5.2 and Ios 17.6 rubbing on an Ipad M4 (2024). The result of this is that importing RAW images into Ipad PS does not really work at all due to colour degrade. BrBT

I come to report a bug, I need help when I use the rotate tool while using the pen it disappears.

basically what the title says; everything works fine on other art programs but it's just photoshop that freezes after some time of me using my huion graphics tablet 💔every file; when it freezes??? i can select tools but not use them, nothing works. i can go to the homepage, but it doesn't fix the issue when back on the canvas. i have to restart the app every time it happens. which is annoying.happened with latest version but also some versions back; it's been happening for some time now. don't know if i'm gonna to fix it soon, because... i just now realized that my subscription expired which kinda sucks. ow?

Repro- Do: Locate a folder in https://assets.adobe.com- Do: Download a file- Observed: The download starts immediately or after 10secs about- Do: Try a second one- Expected: The download should start immediately or after 10secs about- Observed: The download starts after 10-30mins or NEVER most of the times Info- In general, the repro is not stable but always at a point a download never starts- I use Chrome always the latest stable- Same experience through the Creative Cloud Mac application, maybe a little bit better. - Location: Europe- Files are 800mb to 1.6gb

I tried to report it to Adobe, but they spent the better part of an hour trying to prove to me it was my fault. Finally, I told them that if I went through the steps with them watching, I'd crash and disconnect. They insisted. I did it. It crashed. Since I was disconnected, Adobe closed the complaint. SO: does Adobe even care about their bugs?

Issue:  When using multiple windows for the same file, only the current focused tab/window will update it's graphic correctly making tedious to have multiple views of the same file. It only started to happen from version 25.11.Photoshop version: 25.11OS:  Windows 11 23H2Steps to reproduce:... Open a file/New blank file.... Go to Window>Arrange>New window for "currentfile" / Arrange tiles for multiple views.... Make any changes to the canvas in one of the windows/tabs for the file. Expected result: Changes made to the canvas made in one window/tab should immediately reflect on click release in the other window/tab.Actual result: The unfocused window/tab will not reflect the changes, only updating when swapped focus to it or when performing certain actions, like creating new layers. Please fix this.

So I'm going around in circles with this issue. I work on mac for work and originally had a mac for personal use - but that's about burned out so have made a switch back after several years to windows (11) just for my personal laptop. Got around to setting up adobe cc, and opening programs initially was difficult and wouldn't always load up (ps, ai, id, ae). After a search it says to set the program properties (or right click) to open as an administrator. This works and I can then open the program every time. - yay! (even managed to turn off the annoying pop-up) Anyway, I then go to drag and drop and image from file explorer into a program, and get a stop sign on my cursor preventing me from doing so. Another quick google says the fix is to NOT open Ps etc in admin mode and drag and drop will work. Hello everyone, I'm having an issue with Photoshop when selecting tools using the keyboard. I can only select tools in combination with the Shift key. I'm currently using the latest version of Photoshop (v25.11.0 on macOS Sonoma v14.5), but this problem has been occurring for a while. Could it be that I accidentally changed a setting? If so, where can I reset it? Thank you in advance for your help!

There is a bug in the latest version of Photoshop. I am unable to switch brushes to hide or reveal in masks. The switch arrow does not work and when I press cnrtl x it thinks I want to liquify! 

I have installed and uninstaled PS a dozen times today and no mattter which version I use, the left side bar is always black and icons can been scene, if I hover over them the little title/info box does pop out. Any ideas as I am having issues with LR and PS not talking and just realized that this might be the reason or be part of it.

Hi,with the new version of photoshop 25.1.1.0  on Windows 11 I believe I see a small issue:I use the additional window in photoshop to see the look of an image in different scales - if I am working in a very big zoom mode and compare it to a smaller version to it. Until now the behavior was, that the content was updated after a brush stroke with a bit delay.  So far not realtime, but was fine with me. But with the new version the update just comes if I click on the additional window itself or I change something on the layers like hide/show or add a new one. I added a example screen shot where you can see that I added for the orignal Window in 400 %  I wrote something with several strokes but it is not updated in the small window below.  

Hello, I use File>Generate>Image from my artboards/layers that end with a file extention with my workflow. I updated my macOS (Sonoma 14.5) and Photoshop (25.11.0) to the latest verions and now I can not see these options. Please help me find these options as I use it EVERYDAY for my job. 

My iMac had a catastrophic hard-drive failure, which forced me to move my work to my MacBook Air M1 with Sonora OS on it. The problem is, I can't open any files in Photoshop besides .psd files—everything else crashes the app immediately, both .jpg and .png files. I've tried starting from scratch with no other files or programs open, and it didn't work. I restarted Photoshop and then the computer, I updated the app in Creative Cloud, and even updated the OS to Sequoia, and the issue continued. In the forums here, I found years-old advice that suggested to "disable native canvass" but I have no such option in Photoshop 2024. Then, I gave it a few days to see if it would fix itself or if Adobe would release an update, but no dice. Now, I'm getting backed up on work for clients, as Photoshop is functionally unusable if it can't open files, and I really need this resolved. Any assistance would be appreciated.Thanks.
