With Photoshop 25, every time I start up PS, an image opens on my screen accompanied by a tuorial on generative ai by Anna McNaught. How to I disable this? I don't need it and I can't find a way to get rid of it. Can someone help me with this please? Thank you
I'm gonna be blunt on this one...The new 2020 crop tool is an eye sore. Why the MASSIVE handles on the edges? Additionally, when you have guides on an image, and try to crop to the guides, the crop tool changes to the 'move guide' tool and moves the guides instead of allowing the user to crop to the guides (which is why MANY of use use guides in the first place). Why can't the move tool be the only tool that moves the guides. Why did that functionality get added to the crop tool as well? Holy frustrations batman! Now i have to use the crop tool in elsewhere, and then move it to snap to the guides.
When exporting a file the first Export creates a file that does not have accurate colors. If I re-export that same file immediately after checking the first, the second file created has accurate colors. This has been a consistent bug exporting as JPG but I did experience this with PNG previously. I am on ChromeOS using Chrome browser. The file I am using in Photoshop online is a TIFF file that was created on the desktop version, and I did not have this issue with that file on a Windows desktop. I have not tried to recreate this issue with a different file.
Hey Guys, for some time (2 weeks or so) me and my teammates are having problems with Photoshop Libraries syncing/displaying. Photoshop is not showing most of the assets in our common libraries (we have more than 30 and all of them are created by me in Personal Storage and shared with everyone else - we're in the same .com domain if it makes any difference). Here's how it looks: In fact, in this library, in each group (Club Redesign, Icons, Lobby) there are multiple assets added. But what we can see is like shown above. Cloud activity status is like this, looks correct: We're all working on Windows (mostly 10, few of us - on 11) and symptoms are the same on both. Problem is not solved with update 19.1
My photoshop keeps freezing up whilst I’m using my Spot healing brush on my iPad Pro I have the latest operating system I have deleted Photoshop and reinstalled it only to have it still freezing up, I have to shutdown my iPad Pro and restart it and go back into Photoshop and reload the photo I was working on and redo all the work again!
Hi When saving a file as a pdf in Adobe Photoshop my export setting has disappeared and only my presets are available. I think I may have updated Adobe Photoshop in the past week. Previously a week ago before I updated my Photoshop, I had all the export settings Adobe Indesign had when exporting as a pdf file. Does anyone know why these have disappeared and how to get them back all these pdf save settings back?
Hi there, I just downloaded Photoshop 2024 (Version 25.3.1) and I'm trying to set my font as Montserrat Extra Bold but only some letters are changing - the others remain as Montserrat Thin. Couple of quick notes:I'm not having this issue with any other fontsI downloaded the font from Google FontsI'm not having this issue on Premiere Pro Any ideas on what I should do or if this is just a bug?
I've seen this bug in several versions of Ps until 24.0.1 which I'm using now. Steps to reproduce it: - open an image and do any selection. - clic Select and mask. change view mode to 'On black' and set a high value but not maximun to see a clear effect, like 60-80% - Hit OK and close it. Close Ps because this bug is only seen the 1st time to deal with On black without touching anything. - Open Ps, open an image and do a selection. - Click Select and mask. If you have 'On black' selected as previously indicated, you'll see a much lighter black that you should. that's the bug. - slightly move the slider of % and it will get the proper shade of black. Hope this helps to fix it.
Hello, when I just want to move a layer and I click on it, it no longer selects it but it moves the already selected layer. To be able to move my object I have to go to the layer window, find my layer and click on it, that's when I can move it. There must be a mode activated, please help me.
To copy a layer mask to another layer in the layer panel i use the method: ALT+drag to the new layer mask icon in the layer panel. In Photoshop 24.6 the mask is copied and takes effect - but the icon does not update. I have to click on the eye icon of the new layer Layermask icon.... only then the correct display is updated. Of course I have tried the usual measures: Complete uninstall (with preferences) Reinstall Photoshop Deactivating GPU in preferences and using GPU better acceleration without OpenCL. Nothing helps Then I noticed that everything works correctly in PS 23.5.5. But in all 24 versions I have the described error. So the cause must be a bug in PS 24.x. Or did I miss something? Moin, da wir zwingend auf Adobe 22.2 aufgrund der 3D Option für unsere Mockupserie angewiesen sind, benötige ich auch die Library aus der Creative Cloud. Leider ist diese seit heute mittag wie durch zauberhand einfach verschwunden, sprich, in der CreativeCloud App zwar verfügbar, jedoch in PS 22.2 nicht verfügbar. Siehe Screenshot.Bin Admin, habe Creative Cloud schon komplett neu installiert, jedoch ohne Erfolg. Jemand ne Idee? Benötige bitte dringend Hilfe! Danke im voraus!Grüße Philip
Cada vez que utilizo la herramienta Licuar según la abre, el puntero del lápiz o el ratón se mueven aleatoriamente sin que los toque. Cuando voy a utilizarlo se empieza a mover lento y no puedo hacer el licuado correctamente. He probado quitando la tableta y quitando el ratón por si hicieran interferencia uno con el otro pero sigue pasando igual. Cómo se puede solucionar esto porque utilizo mucho esa herramienta y por estar así no puedo utilizarla.Gracias.
Since the previous version of PS, opening Liquify makes the cursor brush move erratically throughout the screen for a couple of seconds. Basically there is no control with the mouse until it stops and you can regain control. I use a Mac Book Pro 2018 and a new Mac mini M1 and even with the new release, it still has that bug and it's not machine-specific.
My partner is getting this modal popup blocking her activity in Photoshop v 25.5—but not in any other CC apps. It feels like a phishing scam, but could just be a bad design. She didn't follow the links (Learn more and Sign out) in the modal. She has deactivated access on other machines, and deleted and reinstalled Photoshop. The message still appears. Has anyone else seen this before?
Have had this problem for a while through not just 25.5 but previous versions as well. There seems to be a good few posts of similar nature although perhaps not with the latest release nor with the exact symptoms. Crash occurs when opening a file pretty much every time - does not appear to be restricted to a particular format. The only solution I have found is to try turning off the GPU which usually solves the issue but obviously makes photoshop so slow as to be useless. I tried turning off the native canvas to see if that made a difference but it just results in photoshop displaying no image at all (blank screen) even though it opens the file and it can be seen in the thumbs for channels/layers pallets.I've submitted crash reports on this several times in the hopes it may be picked up and fixed in an update but with slim hope.Latest crash happened when I tried to open a file whilst working on another file (forgetting for a second it is unstable) and it crashed
With the new update something has happened with the library.Before this update, PS would open the last library used and would do so every time, but now it opens the overview of all libraries and you have to chose the one you want. No big thing, but would love to be able to have one library be the main one (as it has been like since it came).Main issue is this:All graphics added before this update works like they should, but things made after the new update works for about 5-10 minutes before we no longer can Place items from library.If we right click the graphics wanted and "place layers" nothing happens and there is a creative cloud logo instead of graphic "logo" like before. I've attacthed screenshots of how it looks like in both creative cloud desktop app and in photoshop libraries. As you can see Test 2 is the newly added and works like it should, whilst the Test 1 has gone bad and no longer works.Known bug?
Hello everyone, I am facing an issue related to PNG and TIF files. Photoshop cannot open these files when I write "xmp-xmp:Keywords" to the file's metadata. I am not sure if other formats have the same issues or not. I just only tested with PNG, TIF, and JPEG. Issue description: If the PNG or TIF file has no "xmp-xmp:Keywords" and "xmp-dc:Subject". Then Photoshop can open and work with the file normally. If the PNG or TIF file has "xmp-xmp:Keywords" and also has "xmp-dc:Subject". Then Photoshop can open and work with the file normally. If the PNG or TIF file doesn't has "xmp-xmp:Keywords" and has "xmp-dc:Subject". Then Photoshop can open and work with the file normally. If the PNG or TIF file has "xmp-xmp:Keywords", but doesn't has "xmp-dc:Subject". Then Photoshop cannot open the file. Bug: the pointer/cursor jumps all over the place in the Liquify tool, making it unusable.Situation: Photoshop 25.3.1 / Mac 14.2.1 / MBP M3 Max 36gb 1tbAdding this in the hope that Adobe will attend to this bug sometime. It's a real world problem.
sorry in advance for the poor quality image. When I resize an image with the black-colored pixels on the bottom, it creates a half-transparent, gray-colored line. It doesn't matter if I make the image bigger or smaller, it makes that empty gap. It's a glitch that has been there since photoshop CC 2017. People I know have been manually filling the gap or covering it. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
Dear people,Since 10 days my library does not work anymore.I can make a library item and use it in several places.But...when I open the library item, change it and re-save it, it gets lost.Its completely gone. I have been editing some photos recently and a few minutes ago I tried to open some .PSD files that I had saved on my computer. To my surprise, they did not open as expected. Instead, a new window opened with the same size as the photos I was trying to open, and a "new archive" with a white background appeared. I am worried because I rely on these saved files to have specific configurations and effects applied to other photos with the same style.Somebody can help me? Thank you!!!
Hi - just wanted to share a new issue since upgrading OS to Sonoma. Everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT for the liquify tool, which intermittently suffers from severe lag. The lag generally only occurs when background layer(s) are set to visible, and doesn't always happen, even when working the same filem and without restarting Photoshop. So far as I can tell, this lag isn't occuring with any other tools (large brushes, transform tools, adjustments etc). Using 16gb M1 imac (latest generation), and have necer experienced any lags prior to OS upgrade.Problem also does NOT seem to be dependent on canvas or file size.I know Photoshop hasn't yet been fully tested for Sonoma, so wanted to flag this issue for the devs.
When I select "open as layers in PS" from LR this used to work until recently. Now all that happens is the PS app opens to the home page but no images are ever uploaded at all. I have restarted my computer, shut down LR and PS, and tried again, and still nothing. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? {Moderator note: Edited the thread title}
usually when i open a brush group in photoshop and close the app and restart it, everything stays open, now in the newest update i have to go back and open all of my brush groups to start working, is there a option to keep the brush groups open everytime i close photoshop?
