Bug Reports

We are using AUSST from Adobe. For Photoshop it is downloading "AdobePhotoshop24-Core_x64.zip" In this Zip is the file "pngquant.exe" Some AV Scanners - in our Case Bitdefender - think the file is a Malware. Here you can see the result for the file: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/62431047de4d45455bf12ac0f9aea90ea6ad974dbef07deb7cff87f5ecd4634c/detection   Since today, Microsoft detected it as a "virus" too.

Hello, for more than a month the "export as" function has stopped working correctly, to export the images I have to keep canceling and opening the function again until it "loads".   Most of the time it just looks like the attached image. As it bothers me and delays my work, I formatted windows and installed all programs again, but the problem persists.I use the function by clicking with the right mouse button and going to "export as". I don't know if it's relevant, but I use the artboards function a lot for low resolution files (in this case they are web banners)   I'm a Brazilian user, using Google Translate, I apologize for any mistakes, I'm still learning English.Using Windows 10 Home EditionPhotoshop 24.2.1Creative Cloud 5.10.0.573

Using Windows 11 version 22H2. Taskbar is set to autohide.Have just updated Photoshop from v 24.1.1 to v 24.2.0 .When using Photoshop, hovering the mouse at the bottom of the screen does not make the taskbar appear. I have now rolled back to Photoshop v 24.1.1, and the taskbar now re-appears when I hover the mouse at the bottom of the screen.

Hi,   I have a small but rather annoying issue: when I apply a neural filter (skin softening), my marquee tool resets from a circular tool to a square one. Why? Is this preventable (I can't find anything anywhere relating to this)? Or is this a bug?   Also, regarding neural filters, it would be great if we had the possibility to set the default output (when starting PS it is always defaulted to current layer, it would be great if PS could either remember our last used setting (new layer) or let us set this as the default).   Thanks fro any help and/or feedback.

See attached files. File "i-test.psd" has a small block of pixels on a tranparant background. File "i-containter.psd" includes the first file by reference. The result is that the first row of pixels is not included. The included image starts at the 2nd row. See the screenshot "i-result.png".   Photoshop 23.2.2 macos 12.3.1

Ps Beta non carica l'immagine

HI, Bit of a strange one and I've only noticed this since recent updates. When I have an image (regardless of resolution etc) open and the PS window is active/in-focus, I can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel smoothly as long as the image is fully visible in the PS window canvas. But if I zoom in closer so parts of the image fall outside of the canvas, then zooming is laggy, like as if there's a CPU spike laggy but there actually is not any CPU spike.   If I click out of the PS window so PS is no longer in-focus, and then hover the mouse over the PS window and then zoom (WIndows by default will allow scrolling or zooming on whatever window app window the mouse is hovered over) then the exact same zooming actions are smooth.   I have recorded a video showing what i mean to help give a better visual of what I'm on about: https://youtu.be/3Xv7E-JPnZg   My mouse is a Logitech MX Master 3 and it is running the latest software, this issue has only been noticed sin

oi, toda vez que eu abro o photoshop 2022 aparece que deu o erro 205 e então fecha automaticamente, já desinstalei e instalei o photoshop. Como posso resolver esse problema   {Moderator Note: Edited the thread title}

Hello, first of all sorry for my bad english. I have a problem with flickering while using PS - i've searched all topics, and i saw that this problem exist from year 2019, and still no clue whats going on... I have a new laptop - Acer Nitro 5 laptop with dual cards Intel UHD and Nvidia RTX 3050. All drivers are updated, and on RTX I have STUDIO Drivers, not Game Ready.   - I don't want to disable GPU on PS, because I'm using a lot of options for it. - I can't disable g-sync (i saw this tip in other topics) because i don't have this option - I have Nvidia Studio Drivers (on Game-Ready the problem is the same) - I have this problem ONLY on Adobe app   Not my video, but it looks like this VID 20190809 233324 - YouTube - when you use mouse, tablet for drawing with brush, when you do anything on workspace all image changing brightness/contrast when you click/use brush. This is really really REALLY annoying.   I saw posts with telling others that dual-card laptops ma

When I try to save current document with jsx, the document.save(); operation fails in case of there is no changes in the document. The error message is following: "Could not complete the Save command because of a program error". Test code (you need to create "C:\Test\" directory first)   var newDoc = app.documents.add(); newDoc.saveAs(new File("C:\\test\\1.psd")); //newDoc.artLayers.add(); //uncomment to prevent error newDoc.save(); //will fail   In the previous versions of Photoshop you can call Save for any documents with or without changes without any errors.   Environment Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.1.0 20221206.r.166 be4691b x64 Operating System: Windows 11 64-bit 10.0.22000.1335

Today (13 Dec) Nvidia posted updated drivers for their Quadro Graphics cards which raised the previous version from 472.47 to 472.84. I've been putting a new PC together using Windows 11 and to cut a long story short, Adobe doesn't like the very latest version, Bridge and LR wont boot and PS doesn't recognise a high spec Quadro RTX as having Open CL available and states its not compatible. Rolling back to 472.47 solved everything and it all works as it should.   I've no idea what the issue might be as its well beyond my level of technical knowledge but I'd suggest either Nvidia will need to issue a further update quickly or Adobe will have to do something. Meanwhile dont update to the latest Nvidia Drivers unless you're looking for a frustrating hour or so with things not working!

1. Photoshop 23.0.1 (bug has been present in all versions since this feature was released) 2. MacOS - Monterey (bug has been present in all previous versions of MacOS since feature released) 3.   A. Turn on Preset Syncing in Preference Panel B. Expected Result - Presets to sync to Creative Cloud C. Actual - Presets for ALL tools are duplicated recursively in folders, endlessly   Only way to stop this is to turn off Preset Syncing Each new Photoshop version seems to come with Preset Syncing turned on be default, which starts the problem all over again.   This was discussed in this feedback item, which has not been responded to since August:   https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/photoshop-preset-sync-creating-multiple-copies/m-p/12501257#M595870   To further emphasize this problem being widespread, even Chief Evalgelist Paul Trani was experiencing it live as he was leading Photoshop creative challenges this week - in the video you can

To reproduce in 24.3.0:   Create two stroke effects Set first stroke effect to 0% transparency Set second stroke effect to 100% transparency Try to create layers from effects using right click on Effcts below layer > Create Layers. Instead of creating layers Photoshop will throw error message: Could not complete your request because of a program error.

Using Photoshop 22.5.0 on Mac Mini M1 can not drag brushed into Libraries. Reinstalled Photoshop and Adobe Crative Cloud which made no difference. I'm able to access brushs that are allready in the libraries and use them.  Photoshop running on Intel processor works just fine.  Is this a known issues as I'm not seeing it in the Photoshop M1 known support lists?   {Title modifiled by moderator - PS-42332}

When i greate and save a custom stroke, it's gone when i restart Photoshop?I have the latest version of Photoshop 2023 ver. 24.0.1 on latest macOS Ventura 13.0

tried unsucessfully to get rid of this error. Tried reloading and ignore and new browser window.   This must be stuck with a cache or cookie issue.    Win 11 Dont know where to look for this beta version V.

@J453 I am tagging you since you were involved the last 2 times I reported this same bug in the past... and you were very helpful those times 🙂  So I'm hoping that you can direct this bug to the proper people.This issue is a pretty major issue for me (and my plugin users) as it is affecting all of my plugin users who are running Windows (I'm a plugin developer). This issue is with Photoshop itself, but is affecting my plugins.Note: I also reported this bug in the pre-release group since it is happening on the pre-release beta 24.3.0 version as well. However, since this is happening on the current public release, I am posting here too. Since there are multiple places to post bugs, I’m not sure which is the proper place to post to ensure it is seen by the right person at Adobe. Therefore, I’m just posting in both locations. I have reported this twice in the past and Adobe has fixed it each time. Now it is back again for a 3rd time.This bug is inside of the Liquify filte

Can you please fix this strange behaviour in later releases. Currently using 24.1.1 release. Create a rectangle using the rectangle tool.  click delete anchor point. Presuming I would be old behaviour of just removing the anchor point. Get crazy bezier curve going on instead. WHY!!!

With the latest Ps update (24.0 on MacOS 12.3.1) if you accidentally draw on a smart object, it brings up a warning dialog. That's a good thing. What's bad is that Escape will actually confirm the rasterization, as well as click the "Learn More" button, opening up the corresponding web page.

The brush window that opens by right-clicking does not show the brush movement blue line guide. Very inconvenient to move the brush. It's not even fixed in the latest v24.1   The image is from v23.2.2.

Issue:  When Free Transforming a Text layer, moving the Reference Point (Alt+Click or dragging) causes the scale W & H values to change away from "100%" Photoshop version: 24.2 OS: Windows 10 Steps to reproduce: Open a new document and select the Text tool  Click and create any text, and commit it  Free Transform the text layer (Ctrl+T)  Either move the reference point either by Alt+Click outside the transform box or by dragging it out   Expected result: Moving the Reference Point should not change the values in the scale W&H boxesActual result: Once the reference point is moved, the transform scale W&H values shift away from 100% to seemingly random numbers, usually some value less than 1% difference (eg 99.6% / 100.23%)   I verified after rolling back to v24.0 and v24.1.1 that it works correctly in both and only seems to have changed as of v24.2

Hello!   Since installing the new 2023 PS (Brand new Macbook M1 Pro running Ventura), every time I try to save for web, the dialog box gets tucked into the bottom left corner. Even when I move it, it reverts back there every time.   Help!
