PS 2019 CC 20.0.6 versus MacOS CatalinaWhen I'm trying to save a project file in PS, it's always stopped the saving method and the file becomes unusable. So I always must to make projects from the start... When will come the fixes? Does anyone know any solution? :'(

After upgrading to Mac OS Catalina Photoshop-files can be saved to the network-volume everybody at my workplace uses (and have been using for years), but if i open the file (either through Finder or "Edit original" in Adobe Indesign) and try to save the file i get the error message "could not save because of a disk error".To save the file, i have to save it first to my desktop, and then overwrite the file on the server manually.Every time i try to save directly to the server/overwrite the file after making changes in Photoshop, a temp-file is created in the same location as the file on the server, this "temp-files" does not get automaticly deleted.

A quite annoying "feature" in the new Photoshop is the inaccurate selection marquee. It's off by 1 px to left and to bottom. To reproduce: 1. Create an 500x500 px image 2. Hit Ctrl+A Result: while the whole image is selected, the marquee is inside the image on the top and left. Another selection touching the sides of the image: Edit: Tested on 2 computers, the same behavior. 1. i7 7700K, 16 Gb RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1060 2. Hello,   After updating to PS 22.0 on windows 10, i am experiencing big lag and stutter while sampling with either clone stamp or healing brush. This lag goes away once i uncheck show overlay in clone source tab group, but this is not a solution as i am disabling a usefull tool functionality. Any ideea what might cause this?   My PC intel i7 10700K nvidia RTX 2060 Super 8gb 32 gb ram 3000mhz gigabyte z490 elite oc mobo samsung ssd m.2 970 EVO        

Photoshop does not trigger the Start Save Document event from the Scripts Events Manager when you try to close the document and select YES in the unsaved changes dialog.Saving starts of course, but the event is not triggered.

I'm on a Macbook Pro 16 inch 2019 - Catalina Version 10.15.7 - 16gb RAM - Photoshop 23.2.0   I am trying to use the Vanishing Point filter. I have blue lines for my planes. I have tried restarting PS and redrawing. but each time I try to export , I get the message "The Operation Could Not Be Completed"

Background On the Photoshop on the web (Beta) Home page, there is a Recent section which shows thumbnail previews of your Creative Cloud documents.   Description of Problem If you revert to a previous version of your Creative Cloud document, the thumbnail preview in the Recent section of the Home page does not reflect that change. It only updates the thumbnail preview when the document is subsequently further edited and saved.   It should be noted that the correct version of the document is opened when you click on the out-of-date preview thumbnail. I have a AMD HD8490 GPU and installed Photoshop version 21.2 and the GPU is not been detected, I'm not alone as I've come across other people with the same issue on the Photoshop community forum.Reverting back to 21.1.3 fixes the issueWhy does Adobe release updates to fix bugs and then break something else with the same update.

Hi there  I have the latest version of Photoshop for IPad. There is around 600GB left on the device. When I try to use Remove Background or Select Subject the app just crashes and closes. It doesn't seem to happen with other functions. Select Subject works well though in Lightroom for IPad. 

Yesterday i updated Photoshop to version 23.0. After the update, i tried to create a PDF presentation with Multiple image files. and this error occurred "unable to include 22 file(s) because they are not image files are too large, or too much color depth, or are PDF files not created by photoshop." i have attached an Image of the error with this message. when i tried to create a PDF presentation with the same image files with the previous version of photoshop, i didnt face any issues. Please Fix this issue, or tell me a way that i could use to fix it.

I have a Macbook Pro (15 inch, late 2019) running Mojave 10.14.6. I'm running Photoshop 2020, version 21.0.1 (but I also saw this problem in v21.0.0).When I choose File > Import from iPhone or iPad, I don't see any options to import. I'm on a WiFi with several of my iDevices nearby and on the same WiFi network. I've also tried this on a different WiFi network with the same results.I've seen this question asked in the Community forums, and see that from someone who has it working, I should see a list of my devices and then further options for import:https://community.adobe.com/t5/Photoshop/MacOS-Photoshop-2020-File-gt-quot-Import-from-iPhone-or-iPa...Is there some sort of device setup required? Some setting that I haven't activated?

Since version 23.1 the Rotation tool have an issue.Since ever, the rotation tool is set on one of my tablet's ExpressKeys.Usually it's activated by pressing and holding the key, when I release the key it automatically switches back to whatever other tool I was using before (as it should be).But since the latest update it stays selected if pressed touched ones and I'm forced to manually switch back to another tool (such as the brush for example).I'm a professional illustrator and this is extremely annoying and slows down my workflow a lot.I already set the rotation tool to another ExpressKey but also there it has the same issue.

Hi, whenever I try to set the lasso feather to below 1px, it resets itself to 1.0 px as soon as I select something. What do I do? It wasn't a problem yesterday - or ever.   I use an ipad pro 10.5" with ios 15.5 and the photoshop is a paid for and up to date version

Hello everyone,   Flipping between documents using Alt+Tab is broken in the last 2 releases. 1 time out of 2, a documents gets stretched full screen, then gets hung up in the display cache as oppsoed to show the next document. Only clicking on the doc will get it out of it.   The two documents in the example described above are about 4K with just a few layers.   Thanks in advance,-Berube   [Personal information removed by moderator as per forum guidelines.]      

Anyone else seeing these distorted edges on images in newer versions of Photoshop? If I zoom in or out or open in another application they're not actually there. It's just a distortion in Photoshop. I guess it's a bug because I never used to have this problem.  Here's an example. It's zoomed to 100%. I had to blur the main part, but the little white line on the side and the bottom the arrow points to was there before that too. It's not actually part of the image. It goes away at other zoom levels.    

Version 23.3.2 Mac, however, I can reproduce in other versions.   Layer in artboard "Test 1", layer menu > duplicate to artboard "Test 2" in the same file. This is correctly performed "live", however, when recording an action or using the recorded ScriptingListener code, the layer is duplicated in the original Artboard 1 and not into Artboard 2.     Here is the result from an action or ScriptingListener output.     Looking at the ScriptingListener code, the correct layer ID for the Artboard 2 is recorded, however, it is being incorrectly duped into Artboard 1.   Opt/alt dragging the layer from Artboard 1 to Artboard 2 does appear to be correctly recorded/played in action or ScriptingListener output.

Downscaling an image using Export As produces blurry and stepped images. Save for Web produces clean and smooth images. This is using the latest version 21.1.1 on Windows. This image was 4500x3000, I've downscaled it to 1500x1000 in both Export As and Save for Web.Just look at the attached images and see how the word "Cover" looks so much worse in Export As when compared to Save for Web.

I have encountered many problems with Photoshop over the last years, this meant I often had to 'Alt-Tab' my way to a different application so Photoshop could release its grip and free the fields. Over the last few months I often have to 'Alt-Tab' twice and sometimes more often.  I noticed that if I fill something out in a field, a colour value for instance, this field does not lose the focus. But it's even worse than that. I found out today that even using the 'Paint Bucket' tool is now having a problem. Below are some screenshots.   '01-mix-70percent-grey' I mix 70% grey so I can fill a layer with that colour using an sRGB document, as usual. By the way: I also tried this with a greyscale file but the result is the same. I use the 'Paint Bucket' tool for this, it's using 100% opacity and of course the 'Normal' blend mode, no strange settings. I have a PSD with multiple slices. When I select Save for Web (File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy)), it no longer prompts you when you try to save to a file that already exists. It simply overwrites the file straight away without prompting. I have had multiple chats with different Adobe Support staff with multiple cases being opened, and the problem still exists in Photoshop 23.3.0 and above. I have cleaned up preferences, removed Photshop, and resinstalled. Have also run the official Creative Cloud Cleaning Tool and the problem still re-occurs. Latest test was removing Photoshop and re-installing version 23.0.0 and that worked fine. The problem disappears. When you save a slice, if the file already exists, Ps will prompt you to ask if you wish to overwrite the existing file. After updating to Photoshop 23.3.0 and 23.3.2, the problem re-occurs. Photoshop no longer prompts you when the file exists. It simply overwrites the file straight away without asking. Can you please invest

If you switch from a tool to another while holding the tool's shortcut button (i.e : switch from brush tool to eraser tool with a shortcut, but holding the "e" key while erasing something) make photoshop toggle between those tools. Some people may make use of it, but not me. In addition, the keyboard shortcut often lag, making photoshop do the toggle out of nowhere. It's really frustrating especially for Illustrators since I change the brush and eraser tool often. Please do something about it.

In the Select and Mask Workspace an update of a selection made with any Tool (Quick Selection, Refine Edge Brush, Brush, Object Selection or Lasso) is NOT showing in the following Views: Onion Skin, On Black, On White, On Layers. In the Views Marching Ants, Overlay, and Black and White it is showing (MacOS Catalina 10.15.7)

When shifting between the 'select subject tool' and 'quick select' tool using Shift W, PS hangs (spinning color ball) for about 9 seconds.  Repeatable and only between those two tools.  Video attached.   MBP M1 Max osx 12
