I prefer to work with cascade view in photoshop 21.1.  That being said, since the newest update, when i'm working, if i were to click outside of photoshop, whether it's an internet browser or bridge or some other program, the file i was previously working on will get shuffled to the back and the next file in queue will be the front image.  How do we fix this?  My computer is running the latest catalina mac software. 

Ever since Creative Cloud 2020 (definitely the past few updates), I run into the following error:Error 54: Uncaught JavaScript exception: General Photoshop error occurred. In Photoshop CC 2019, using a Wacom Intuos Pro with latest (or older) drivers.Open the CC Library from Window menu.Attempt to move things from Library to artboard, or move things in Library.Doesn't work. Using a Wacom Intuos Pro (medium) and Photoshop CC 2017.0.0 When using Polygonal Lasso Tool, moving over the Library panel causes tool to freeze in the panel.    

If you try to save a document with photoshop in a folder named for example ^^WEB-site, the program generates an error.The problem occurs only with Photoshop for OSX (mac). In Windows it runs perfectly.Previous versions worked correctly (I now use PS 2020).Could you solve the problem?Thank you.Giorgio.

Photoshop CS5 Distort > Filter > Shear has NO default button. The only buttons are OK and CANCEL. Any clues how to resolve this?

I've had a problem using the Photoshop CC 2019 Shake Reduction filter, which started to crash when used, and not failing gracefully either. When "Duplicate Layer..." is attempted of a Solid Color fill layer to a new document, the result is a new document that does not include the Solid Color fill layer with the original Layer Mask, but instead is a flat document. If a new Solid Color fill layer with mask is made but NOT renamed from the default, the function works correctly.

I report that the font Helvetica Regular still doesn't appear in text tool in Photoshop 20.0.7. Hope it will be fixed soon.

After updating Photoshop CC 2018 this morning I began experiencing crashes when attempting to use the Magnetic Lasso Tool. The crash only occurs with that tool. It does not crash when I use the Lasso Tool or the Polygonal Lasso Tool. Changing the cursor to "precise" had no affect. Updating my graphics card had no affect. Bypassing my Wacom tablet had no affect. Not loading third party plugins had no affect. And finally, restoring Photoshop preferences to default had no affect. Any ideas?

Print dialog box always opens at top left corner of screen and when maximised does not retain settings on next use. The print preview is also low res and pixelated.

I'm developing Photoshop SDK plugins. Recently I updated my Mac to the new macOS Catalina 10.15.4 and installed new Photoshop 21.1.3. I added my previously built plugins in the Photoshop's plugin location and plugins works fine - I can call them and got results.But when I try to attach to the Photoshop process with XCode (v11.4.1) I got a error DetailsCould not attach to pid : “27291”Domain: IDEDebugSessi 855031; RawLLDBErrorMessage = "Error 1";}--System InformationmacOS Version 10.15.4 (Build 19E287)Xcode 11.4.1 (16137) I also tried to attach with lldb via the Terminal, but also no luck - the same "Error 1".Meanwhile, there is no problems with debugging any other my (standalone) application, with UI or console. these are the most annoying problems that occurs to me in the last Photoshop update (21.1.1) on Windows 10:paths have no anti-alias, despite it's enabled in performance settings.when i draw a path point i can not anymore use and key to snap the curve and move the point at the same time. it opens a program menu.with Wacom Cintiq 12WX and airbrush i can not use the stylus wheel to change the brush size. with windows ink enabled it works sometimes, but it doesn't shows the brush tip preview. brush pressure works fine.i've to revert to 21.0.3, the last usable version for me.Photoshop 21.1.1Windows 10 (1909) 64bitCPU: Intel i7 3770s on Intel DZ77BH-55K motherboardGPU: nVidia Quadro K200016Gb RAMI've installed the latest Nvidia and Wacom driversmore detailed system infothank you very much

Brush projection does not change shape of a cursor at all so its very hard to understand positioning, rotation and other distortions of regular (non bristle) brushes.  Angle jitter can show rotation of a cursor though.Also is there any way to see cursor changing shape and representing brush while drawing and not only at start of a stroke (like in Krita for example) thnx.win 10 64, intuos pro

Smart Object transformation does not apply to smart filter mask. This seems counterintuitive and requires workaround. Transformation applied to SO should apply to Smart Filters by default or an option to do so should be available.

32-bit color picker displays wrong values of low values of RGB. I have created, as an 8-bit image with boxes filled with RGB values of R=8, G=7, B=6 -one box, R=5, G=4, B=3 -second box,  R=2, G=1, and B=0 -third box. I've saved the file and reopened it converting it to 32 bits. When I read the values for RGB, I get 191, 167, 143, ... . The color display reflects these values. Only with B set to zero in the third box is the value for B correct. The 32-bit fp values seem to be correct. When looking at many values of the 32-bit fp numbers, I see a very non-linear return. Any ideas? Looks like an Adobe problem.

When using the lasso tool to make selections, it makes sense to choose 'Polygonal lasso tool' and then hold the 'alt' key to change into freeform lasso as needed. Relasing the 'alt' key goes back to polygonal mode.On Windows 7 and using Photoshop CC 2018, this was fine. However, moving to a Windows 10 machine with PS CC 2018 (and even with PS CC 2019) the lasso line disappears after a few seconds of holding the 'alt' key down. This makes detailed masking very tricky as you need to do it in very small parts.I can only imagine this is some sort of OS related issue as on a W7 machine, it was all fine. It is only now we have moved our office over to W10 that we are getting this bug.The machines are all high end: mine is an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX with 64GB RAM.

Hi ! I got that issue for two days. I created a file on photoshop cs6. It contains many layers, some of them are shape layers filled with gradient. I worked for few days into the file (by opening and saving it daily or more). But now, when I opened it, many gradient shape take a new color, the one on the color selector. Then, when my color selector is on a purple color when photoshop is started, the layers take a purple color (instead of blue as initially chosen, for example). That issue only occured with gradient initially composed with foreground or background color. Not with other gradients. Add one more bug to this.If you duplicate the unapplied layrComp, then it is duplicated and a checkmark is displayed that it is applied.In fact, this is not always true.Checking is very simple.Turn off all layers. Create a new layerComp.Turn on all layers. layerComp will become unapplied.Duplicate layerComp using the context menu.The new layerComp will be marked as applied.But this is not true. The "Render Video..." function no longer works after upgrading to Catalina on my 2019 Macbook Pro. More specifically, using the Render Video... function results in a spinning "busy" cursor and causes Photoshop to lock up. The only way I can get out of it is to Force Quit Photoshop. I've never had any trouble with this function until the Catalina update.So far I have reinstalled both Photoshop and Media Encoder, and neither has fixed the problem.

As the title says. When I filter for adjustment layers, Solid Color (Color Fill) layers don't show.Same goes for 'Gradient' and 'Pattern', so it might be intentional, but it's not how PS CS6 used to work & it kinda breaks my workflow.Is there an optional setting I'm missing?
