I have a extra large project so i was happy to copied anything used into a new project to back up but also to reduce project size. Everything was copied within their sequence but everywhere there was a nest sequence within a nest sequence those files are missing. I will copy manually but is there a way to avoid this problem ? (yeah sorry, I have to nest and nest over because you can't warp stabilize and change speed without nesting) premiere pro 2024
Hi! Since a few days I am running in the error of BRAW Frame couldn't be decoded, with several projects. This has never happened before and I am working with premiere around 5 years. Attached a file where it occured. I am working on a MacBook M2. This error also results in export glitches. It has been extremely frustrating since I am working for clients with these files. Is there any idea how to fix this problem, beside the things mentioned like change renderer, empty cache etc.? Herby the specs of an example file: Dateipfad: /Volumes/A163/A163_12311125_C001.braw Typ: Blackmagic RAW with BRAW Studio Dateigröße: 373,83 MB Bildgröße: 6144 x 3456 Framerate: 25,00 Audioformat der Quelle: 48000 Hz - 24 Bit - Stereo Audioformat des Projekts: 48000 Hz - 32-Bit-Floating-Point - Stereo Gesamtdauer: 00:00:05:19 Pixel-Seitenverhältnis: 1,0 Alpha: Direkt - ohne Maske Farbraum: Rec. 709 Farbraum überschreiben: Aus Eingabe-LUT: Keine Manufacturer: Blackmagic
So whenever i try to change the position or scale or whatever by using the program monitor it lags really badly and is basically unusable, but when i change the values themselves in the effects control panel it work fine. Hopefully i explained it well, i also recorded a video in case my explanation wasn't clear https://youtu.be/uTIkYbt_cEM?si=fXFI0szTcVv15p53I hope this can be fixed and i can change position and scale of my clips without terrible lag I am using windows 11, and am using premiere pro version 24.1In case this is important, i am using an rtx 4070 with a core i9 13980hx and have the latest nvidia studio drivers
I have a problem with Premire pro rendering and playback. BUT!!! Only with files recorded with OBS!When applying a layer mask it stops paylback, can not see anything at all, not even at 1/4th.I literally simplyfied the process just for this one file, so I can actually add effects to it after I exported it, because with edits it is impossible to render, it takes hours to do so on a small project in a 3-4 minute long video. WTFFile parameters:226MbRecorded with OBSRecording settings are here I did cut out some parts, but it is just one fileI duplicated the video layer by pressing down shift and pulling up the video layer so I have 2 layers to work with.In this project 2 people talking but one of them had audio sync issues so that is why I duplicated the video layer to mask out the one person who had no sync issues. I put the video on top with the masked layer as it should be overwriting the one below so the audio sync issues would be gone from the finished footage.mask propertiesKee
My Premier Pro 24.1.0 keeps crushing when I do the simplest actions such as extending or shortening clips on the timeline by click and drag, extending audio/video transitions on the timeline by click and drad, using Lumetri Colors etc. For every action I take I need to wait for a few seconds otherwise the Spinning Wait Cursor appears and sometimes the whole program including mouse, keeboard become inactive and the only thing is left to do is to use the Power Bottom. I also had a few time glitches on the screen (see the attached image). Note that I work with Proxies and Preview on 1/2, considering the stenght of my laptop it shouldn't be so slow. I have a MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019, 32 GB RAM (see the image for more info) The issue remains although i did the following- Dealeteing all the Caches and User Settings by holding Option while lunching Premier- Unistalled and re installed the latesed versions of Premier-Reinstall my MacOS I have read here that many people have
Premiere Pro 24.1.0 (build 85)Windows 10 Pro (version 22H2)Intermittent issue, probably started with 23.6.2Steps to reproduce:1) Open premiere pro. Single click to open project from recent list.2) Project opens, Editting workspace, to defaulting sequence/timeline. Issue:It MAY have red line (performance concern) in the sequence timeline, or it may be yellow (performance ok). Red is much more common. When it is yellow, the system works perfectly, great performance, no dropped frames, no scrubbing delays. When it is red, dropped frames occur just running the sequence (no fast scrubbing required to get dropped frames). Just to get it to run without performance issues, I have to select playback resolution to 1/2. I have not been able to determine a sequence of events/keystrokes that lead to Red or Yellow consistently. It happens with all projects/sequences I have tried (dozens). I have completed numerous performance improvement tasks (clearing cache, closing project,
Others have brought this up and I can't see any solutions except to wait for a release that makes Premiere Pro v24.x not hang on every command with the spinning disc. I not only have all the symptoms others have stated but I also have this weird audio problem whereby the audio track is silent on repeated tries to playback. Then it just works. And then it fails again. For a while. The one indication I can see in the lagging performence behavior of 24.1 appears to relate to other interconnected features being automatically engaged. Text transcription, for example, might send the CPU off to think a bit before that minor audio cut/edit is completed many seconds later. All functions appear to be waiting for something before proceeding with whatever that step entails. I do find that this behavoir worsens over time and that if the app is restarted frequently, the amount of waiting is diminished but grows again. Somewhere there is a bug causing anything and everything in Premiere Pro to w
Hello all, I am encountering a problem which Adobe, our IT team & myself are having trouble getting to bottom of... Premiere opens fine and is fully operational in every regard, with the exception of when I try to access the any of Preferences/Settings menus the software crashes. This occurs with 2024, 2023, & 2022 in a lab of 18 workstations. I ran CC Cleaner to remove all Adobe instances from the computer and reset the settings, cleaned the cache, & disabled the plugins during the software boot process, but the problem persists. Some backstory: I recently updated the lab from Mac Ventura 13.4 to Ventura 13.5.1. I can not update any higher because the lab is linked to a XSAN storage server and Mac is phasing out XSAN for NAS storage. I discoved this when I updated to 13.6.3 and only to discover that 13.6 does not support XSAN in any way, so I had to downgrade the lab using a bootable disk with 13.5.1 on it. I then restored
Hi all, Original Camera files are mxf. 4448x3096 However, when ingesting into Premiere or After Effects it pillarboxes the images and reads it at 4480x3096, not 4448x3096 Ran it in DaVinci, and DaVinci reads it correctly. Has anyone ran into this issue and had to interpret the footage any differently?
Premiere Pro 24.1.0 (build 85)Windows 10 Pro (version 22H2)Steps to reproduce:1) Select Export tab to compile executable from current edit/project/sequence.If file was previously created and still exists in the default location, it will overwrite that file without warning. Previous versions of PP would add a "_n" suffix to the filename to differentiate/increment so no overwrite would occur. I look forward to your suggestions.
On a Premiere timeline containing AE comps dynamic linked into it, if you open AE and save the file with your cursor still on the comp in Premiere, it will often unlink the file and require you to manually unlink it. This usually happens every time you save the AE file. On my setup, my AE and project files are hosted on an SMB share on the local network. As far as I know this network is stable and without problems, except for this one particular bug. Steps to recreate: 1. Create Project2. Make video clip and right-click -> Replace with AE composition OR - Import AE composition into project panel directly3. Make sure project is open in AE4. Leave timeline cursor on AE dynamic linked comp5. Alt-tab into AE, then make a change to project and save6. Alt-tab back into Premiere, and the project will unlink and be marked as missing media To remedy: Right click -> Link media, and the correct AE project will automatically be highlighted, meaning
Hey,i want to work on an Insta360 video with GPFX but every time i put the effect on the clip it gives me a glitch.Picture related
I've been using Preimer Pro for years already, but an issue I've faced in recent months is simply unlike any other. Every month, after paying a monthly subscription, saved workspaces just dissapear, as if I've never had them. Not only workspaces, but keyboard shortcuts. I can't simply understand, how come it is possible when I have an official account and everything I do or save is uploaded and saved on my personal Creative Cloud account.
Hello, I encountered a problem I've never seen before. I want to render an exactly 9 seconds long MXF file, using the ARD-ZDF HDF01a-1.1 Profile preset. The timeline consists of one 9 seconds long mov file, that I want to convert to mxf. The rendering itself is no problem and I can also open the file with the VLC player, but not with quicklook. The broadcaster also reported the file as corrupt. The same thing happens when goings directly through media encoder. The funny thing is, that if I add one black frame to the timeline or render one frame less (00:00:08:24), the file works perfectly fine. I can open it in quicklook and broadcasters have accepted it. It's only the exact 9 seconds that's not working. When asking the broadcaster what the problem was, they told me that it is a key length value failure, that can simply happen during the render, but for me it happens with every 9 seconds render 🥲Has anybody every encountered a problem like this before? We tried to
Now that Adobe is getting rid of what is by far the most useful feature of having a software subscription, the Synced Files feature, it only makes since that the Libraries feature becomes something useful. As it stands, it supports such a small number of file types that it is not useful for much of anything. Why it just doesn't support any file types I don't understand. It doesn't even support MOGRT files, one of Adobe's own file formats! What is worse is that the panel seems to do nothing in Premiere. If you try to upload a file to it, via dragging, it just ignores you. It is really pathetic that Libraries has been so bad for sooo long, especially considering that Adobe is removing access to a feature that worked GREAT and was used by many in our office every day. I work for a very large insittution that has literally thousands of CC licenses. Being able to share files using the synced files feature was great. Now that they are turning it off, I decided to give Libraries another chanc
Hello! I am working on a premiere pro project, and I have installed a new Mogrt template into my premiere motion graphics library. I have been using the mogrt effect in the project with no problems for a few days, until recently, the mogrt files go offline and I get an error that says that the project files cannot be found. I go into the file finder, and see that the files are linked to a copy of the mogrt template I had stored on my hard drive. I try to relink them to that file, and it does not work, and the files stay offline. I then try to redirect the files to where template is stored in Application support > adobe > common > motion graphics templates > mogart file. The issue is, the motion graphics libarary does not show up in my prremiere file finder, even though I can find it in the files on my mac, searching through my mac finder. I have included screen shots of the files on my mac, and the missing files in my premiere search window.
Tried importing a music track that was succesfully used in previous projects. However this time I get the cryptic error message: "I am done with this track." followed by an unspecified error message pointing to the cache file in question.I reckon clearing the cache should fix the issue but c'mon... Who at Adobe wrote this genius meta error message text?Maybe its the whole Adobe Sensei AI trying to poke through and show us its self awareness?.... Anyway, not a big deal but I think Adobe could greatly improve the useability of their error messaging.
I'm seeing lines in the timeline and the final export on footage where I use the Basic 3D effect or the Transform effect in Premiere Pro. I'm running 24.1. Anyone else having this issue?
Text built within Premiere appears to be affected by background layers. It's almost as if there is a pixelated stroke around the text.I'm demonstrating with a black matte layer, but I was able to recreate this issue on multiple computers using 3 other types of backgrounds, including ones not generated within Premiere.
Im having issues with premier pro. For the last 5-6 videos i have exported for youtube, they have all had little glitches two-three times in each video after rendering and being exported into its mp4 file. The issue it, they are NOT in the same place everytime so i cannot replicate it. It plays back perfectly fine in the timeline within premier, but onced exported it had glitches in new spots every time. It just started happening about a month or so ago, ive NEVER had this for the last four years i've been using this software. I've tried undownloading and redownloading Premier, New SD cards, New camera. Ive changed my export from "high quality 2160 4K - H.264" format to specific "Youtube 2160 4k Ultra HD- H.264" which cuts the file size in half and same thing. Ive had my friend export on his mac book to see if it glitches, and it did on his too. This video below has the glitch at mark 8:12 & 8:36. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRvVEf0AAlU&t=576s IS A
What is the correct process for editing captions? Am I missing something, or is this a bug.I have my sequence finished, I generate the Transcript. I then go through the transcript and edit anything that is incorrect. Break apart or combine sections as they relate to the speakers. Great, looks good. Save my project. Then I go to Captions, and select, Create captions from transcript. The captions do not contain any of my edits. They are based on the original generated transcript. Now I have to go through the entire video again, and make the exact same edits I just did. I have more videos to do. Going forward, I guess I will just ignore the transcript (since I am not actually using it for anything at the moment) and only correct the captions? This redundent editing must be a glitch - or am I doing something incorrectly? Version: 24.1.0 (Build 85)Platform and OS version: Windows 10 Pro
To my understanding Adobe has always had trouble with really bad workarounds to make proxies for 120fps footage within adobe premiere. Everything ive followed online to make succesful 120fps proxies WITHIN adobe never works, always buggy or something that tweaks out and is extremely inconsistent. I have been using shutter encoder to make my 120fps proxies and it has worked flawlessly for a year or so now. Woke up to an update (22.6.2) and 120fps proxies no longer work.24 and 60fps works fine. But 120fps proxies are now literally slower to scrub, playback, and render than without proxies now. Im using my sony a7siii: XAVC S 4k, 120 fps, 10bit( if you're a a7siii user, you know that premiere does not like these codecs/formats and chokes really hard trying to playback this footage so proxies are an absolute must)Does anyone have a fix or any possible solutions? Lots of people seem to settle with interpreting the footage within premiere and having their proxies playback slowe
I've been editing mainly on Premiere since 2013 on Windows PCs, I bought a brand new M1 Macbook Pro M1 Max 32gb Ram, early in 2023. From the get go Premiere Pro was painfully slow, crashed around 5-10 times per day, video playback was laggy and Program Monitor/Mercury playback screen goes black frequently, requiring 3-5 min wait or restart. The rendering and export speeds are lightning quick, and After Effects works like a dream, especially the User Interface and Render/Exports. First version was Premiere Pro 2022, then 2023 and now 2024. OS was Monteray, then Ventura and now on a clean install of Sonoma, and no change. I have 2 Dell HDMI monitors connected and mainly work off of Samsung T7 SSDs with a seperate SSD drive dedicated to Cache Files. I have tried ProRes proxies, resetting of Preferences, latest os and app updates etc. etc. etc. I have one client that requires me to work in FCP, which is also lightning quick so I cannot understand why Premiere Pro is so slow.
Hello I just updated and now i am not able to edit anymore! I press the spacebar and the audio and video starts right away but the line of the timeline starts after. When I press the spacebar again it gos back to the start point. Terrible you cannot edit like this! Please help.
I have strange bug. I work with PROJECT in PRODUCTION. For example, I have sequence named TEST.Then I try to render it. Premiere shows export dialog and filename is TEST_1.mp4: I try to rename file to TEST.mp4 (i DON'T HAVE such file in DESKTOP). And as soon as i do this, i receive error: When i change destination - it's all ok. I don't know, why it is so. If i have such file in desktop, it just asks me to rewrite, and then it's all ok.
