in the newest update (v22) of premiere pro, when you shuttle right in the sequence at double speed, (or more) the playback won't stop, even when shuttle stop is pressed. Adobe premiere acts normally otherwise, (you can save and quit) but it will still keep playing at that speed. Even closing the sequence doesn't make it stop. You have to close out of the app and then re open the project.

I already tried clearing all media cache, unfortunately that didn't fix it.Exporting this project also leaves the transitions invisible, so its not just the project preview.At the end of this video I reapply the transition animation to show an example of what they're supposed to look like, that had been applied to every transition between images. After I saved and closed the project, this is what I had upon reopening the project again. I have previous, finished video projects that also used this transition effect, and I am able to reopen those projects with the transitions still in tact so this issue seems to be linked to this project save specifically. Upon experimenting, it appears the issue is related to the masking effect? If I create a second mask on top of the first one, the layer is visible again. It seems this is a bug relating to corrupted masking properties upon saving and reopening the project...But all masking properties are getting corrupted every time I save, cl

I can't use Workspaces right now as they don't seem to remember which monitor is being used for which window set in place for the workspace. I'll save a workspace with my main window and timeline on monitor 1 and when I reload the project the next day, the window has shifted to monitor 2 with the other windows on top of it. I also often get a blank window when loading a previously saved workspace. The saved workspace now seems completely useless and I have to start from scratch with creating my workspace. Workspaces are unusable for me right now.

for some reason in PR 2024 I can no longer drag multicam sequences to the timeline and have it display the timeline, the first example in the video is PR 2022 and the second one is PR 2024, I toggled the overight and insert sequence button but could not get PR 2024 to do what I wanted, leaving me to have to open the sequence in the timeline and copy it over manually. sort of a minor issue but puzzled me for a while figuring out why it wasn’t going into the sequence the way I wanted.

Premier pro 23.6.0.65. Windows 10.Premiere Pro Freezes When Alt TabbingIn the premiere, I edit several videos totaling 10 hours.In general, nothing freezes normally, even in fullhd it works in plyaback and everything seems to be cached in RAM + video card memory.But when I make premier pro an inactive window, for example, switch to the browser, I notice in the task manager that the RAM from 15 GB drops to 13 GB, I go back to premier pro and turn on playback in premier pro, wait 5 seconds and playback starts, everything is instant without lags I can rewind moments, watch complex effects and so on, there are no lags and I notice that the memory in the RAM again rises by 3 - 5 GB.The problem is not with my components. So this problem has seemed to have ramped up over the past month or so and it's getting increasingly difficult to edit.  I've tons of searching, and there seem to be a lot of people having similar issues - but all have different possible causes.  I'm trying to edit interviews, and basically I can't work.  Some of the obvious questions I know I'll get:Was happening on the last version of 2018, and I'm now on 2019 - 13.0.3. Hi All, Please see the screenshot below for an example of what I am referencing. I am not sure what is going on, I opened PrP with plug-ins disabled as I thought that might have been the cause of the issue, but whenever i go to the "Export" tab above, it just has it selected but does not go to the export window for me to export. I have my sequence selected and with in/out so that is not the issue. Is this caused by an extension? or what can I do to figure out the root cause of this. 

When applying the transform effect and scaling I start getting lines across my entire project that do not seem to go away even after rendering any fixes? I attached a video below. 

I can neither bulk delete filter words and pauses in the source footage, nor can I merge or split text-segments in a sequence. The only workaround for me so far is to export sufficiently large segments (like around 1h, the original footage is 4h), then reimport, transcribe, text-based removal or filterwords etc, then rearrange the due to the filter word removal messed up transcription segments.  Is this supposed how it should be? Because why would the transcript segments be able to split up after deleting a part of it, like a filterword, etc,  but cannot be merged afterwards?

Hello! My team and I are having issues with our two recent projects incorrectly connecting to proxies and ignoring R3D files after we begin to compile the master timeline. We work with usually 12-14 days of footage with around 5-10 scenes on each day. Footage is synced on set by the DIT with both R3D and proxy files attached. Footage is then edited offline by the post team. When we pull a timeline from one project into another the footage begins to have an issue. Within the timeline, synced and raw files read the proxy but 'shrink' to thier size within the media display (view attached example). The RAWs are 8K and the proxies are 2K.  Along with this issue the RAWs/Synced files will connect to the proxy (mov) as though as it is the R3D file and states "Proxy Offline" . We are unable to find what causes this issue or how to prevent it from happening. Our current solution is:1. Right-click a project tab and notice the command "Reveal Project in Finder..."The ellipsis means more information is required from the user, so an additional thing will happen after the user chooses this command, but that is not the case with this command. I'm facing a playback glitch only at the first few frames of the playhead. It starts glitching at the start and then playbacks normally. And it happens everytime I plays the timeline. I'm using a laptop with Ryzen 7 5800H 16GB Ram with RTX 3050 gpu. I tried every solutions in the internet for playback related issue. I even tried reseting the whole laptop and did a fresh install, still the problem remains. What should I do?

I have a extra large project so i was happy to copied anything used into a new project to back up but also to reduce project size.  Everything was copied within their sequence but everywhere there was a nest sequence within a nest sequence those files are missing. I will copy manually but is there a way to avoid this problem ? (yeah sorry, I have to nest and nest over because you can't warp stabilize and change speed without nesting) premiere pro 2024

Hi! Since a few days I am running in the error of BRAW Frame couldn't be decoded, with several projects. This has never happened before and I am working with premiere around 5 years.  Attached a file where it occured. I am working on a MacBook M2. This error also results in export glitches. So whenever i try to change the position or scale or whatever by using the program monitor it lags really badly and is basically unusable, but when i change the values themselves in the effects control panel it work fine. I have a problem with Premire pro rendering and playback. BUT!!! Only with files recorded with OBS!When applying a layer mask it stops paylback, can not see anything at all, not even at 1/4th.I literally simplyfied the process just for this one file, so I can actually add effects to it after I exported it, because with edits it is impossible to render, it takes hours to do so on a small project in a 3-4 minute long video. My Premier Pro 24.1.0 keeps crushing when I do the simplest actions such as extending or shortening clips on the timeline by click and drag, extending audio/video transitions on the timeline by click and drad, using Lumetri Colors etc. For every action I take I need to wait for a few seconds otherwise the Spinning Wait Cursor appears and sometimes the whole program including mouse, keeboard become inactive and the only thing is left to do is to use the Power Bottom. I also had a few time glitches on the screen (see the attached image). Note that I work with Proxies and Preview on 1/2, considering the stenght of my laptop it shouldn't be so slow. Premiere Pro 24.1.0 (build 85)Windows 10 Pro (version 22H2)Intermittent issue, probably started with 23.6.2Steps to reproduce:1) Open premiere pro. Single click to open project from recent list.2) Project opens, Editting workspace, to defaulting sequence/timeline. Issue:It MAY have red line (performance concern) in the sequence timeline, or it may be yellow (performance ok). Red is much more common. When it is yellow, the system works perfectly, great performance, no dropped frames, no scrubbing delays. Others have brought this up and I can't see any solutions except to wait for a release that makes Premiere Pro v24.x not hang on every command with the spinning disc. I not only have all the symptoms others have stated but I also have this weird audio problem whereby the audio track is silent on repeated tries to playback. Then it just works. And then it fails again. For a while. The one indication I can see in the lagging performence behavior of 24.1 appears to relate to other interconnected features being automatically engaged. Text transcription, for example, might send the CPU off to think a bit before that minor audio cut/edit is completed many seconds later. All functions appear to be waiting for something before proceeding with whatever that step entails. I do find that this behavoir worsens over time and that if the app is restarted frequently, the amount of waiting is diminished but grows again. Hello all, I am encountering a problem which Adobe, our IT team & myself are having trouble getting to bottom of... Premiere opens fine and is fully operational in every regard, with the exception of when I try to access the any of Preferences/Settings menus the software crashes.  This occurs with 2024, 2023, & 2022 in a lab of 18 workstations.  I ran CC Cleaner to remove all Adobe instances from the computer and reset the settings, cleaned the cache, & disabled the plugins during the software boot process, but the problem persists. Some backstory:  I recently updated the lab from Mac Ventura 13.4 to Ventura 13.5.1.  I can not update any higher because the lab is linked to a XSAN storage server and Mac is phasing out XSAN for NAS storage.  I discoved this when I updated to 13.6.3 and only to discover that 13.6 does not support XSAN in any way, so I had to downgrade the lab using a bootable disk with 13.5.1 on it.  I then restored

Hi all,  Original Camera files are mxf. 4448x3096 However, when ingesting into Premiere or After Effects it pillarboxes the images and reads it at 4480x3096, not 4448x3096 Ran it in DaVinci, and DaVinci reads it correctly.  Has anyone ran into this issue and had to interpret the footage any differently?

On a Premiere timeline containing AE comps dynamic linked into it, if you open AE and save the file with your cursor still on the comp in Premiere, it will often unlink the file and require you to manually unlink it. This usually happens every time you save the AE file. On my setup, my AE and project files are hosted on an SMB share on the local network. As far as I know this network is stable and without problems, except for this one particular bug.  Steps to recreate: 1. Create Project2. Make video clip and right-click -> Replace with AE composition OR    - Import AE composition into project panel directly3. Make sure project is open in AE4. Leave timeline cursor on AE dynamic linked comp5. Alt-tab into AE, then make a change to project and save6.
