I’m having an issue where if I copy a chunk of a caption and then overwrite the text, the new caption copy loses all of the formatting, so I have to reapply the font settings (size and font style) which is very tedious. Please fix it. It worked a week ago.

I’m getting “Error Code: 1609891835 - Premiere Pro could not start audio playback” on specific timelines after downgrading a project from v26 to v25.5.Here’s what I’ve done so far: Deleted all media cache files from Premiere and ~/Library/Cache Changed playback device to Adobe SRT in Preferences Tried different sequence settings (ProRes, H.264) Reinstalled audio drivers The issue only happens on sequences edited in v26, even after downgrading. In the 2021 Premiere Pro version, I used to be able to clear a marker while the video is playing. But I can’t do that in Premiere 2026.Can this be fixed please?

August 2025 Issue with Project Manager [PP Version 25.3 – latest version][OS Sequoia 15.5 – latest version] I have a large project to offload to a colourist and have tried to use the 'Collect files and copy to a new location' function in Project Manager (File > Project Manager…) After several attempts I am still receiving the "An unknown error (-1609629681) occurred during the Project Manager operation. Please save your project and retry the operation." I have been looking for a solution for days now. Here's what I've tried based on Adobe support and what I've seen on this forum: 1. Check available disk space - I have three times what is needed on my external SSD 2. Every time I try to open a project with a version of Premiere newer than 25.5, it crashes immediately upon loading. It doesn’t matter if it’s v26 or 25.6.x. I’ve tried restarting the computer, resetting the preferences and clearing the cache, restarting again, none of it worked.However, it does appear I can open a new project in v26 without it crashing, and I can open a v26 project that a co-worker creeated and I took over (they were able to successfully update a while back and are not getting my errors).I’m on an Apple M3 Max chip, macOS 26.2, 96 GB RAM.Please help.

I’m working in Premiere Production in v25.6.3. The “Make a Copy” function in the production panel is making copies of projects that have duplicate IDs. This is now how it worked in previous versions. I’m not sure what’s causing it, but without “Make a Copy” I haven’t found a way to make copies besides just making new projects from scratch and copying content from the old version to the new version. Make a copy is causing a lot of duplicate IDs. Thank you.

Hello, today, while I was working on a project in Premiere Pro, the preview image suddenly disappeared. In Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, the video preview does not open in the part where the preview screen is located. When I press the space bar, the sound of the video starting is heard, but there is no image. I searched in many places, but I could not find a solution. I deleted it and reinstalled it, it didn't work, I cleared the media cache and it didn't work, I downgraded or upgraded the version and it didn't work either. I tried and many other things but I couldn't find a solution. I am sending the screen recording as an attachment. So…This wasn’t fixed in 24, neither in 25, now it’s in 26. Please tell me, Adobe, that the team at least discussed this issue.It happens randomly, with random media. I wad a 2-tracks multicam sequence of mxf files in a 1080p sequence: Cleaning cache did not help. Restart did not help, resetting workspace\Pr preferences did not help. Reddit is full if such cases. This forum has complaints about the same issue.  

Have been using Premiere Pro 2025, the app updated itself to the latest version (26) and is saying all my clips (hundreds) are offiline. When I try to relink them it says there is an issue with the audio channels type. Its ridiculous because I've been working on this project for months and have never had this issue. IssuePremiere Pro 26.0 fails to transcribe audible dialogue and displays “No dialogue found” when using MP4 files downloaded from YouTube via a third-party downloader. I like using white as my default label color for new assets so I can clearly see what hasn’t been used yet in the project panel. But when I drag in a clip to the timeline, the audio waveforms are invisible because they’re too light. The waveform colors should auto contrast with the clip’s label color.

Normally when exporting Markers in Premiere to use as timestamps for Youtube videos, they export in organized, separate columns on a spreadsheet making it easy to copy-paste them all in one go into the video description. But when I do it now, all marker data is put together in one column. It doesn’t matter what file type I export them as, .CSV or .TXT it still has this problem. Now, I either have to manually organize dozens of marker titles, timestamps, etc to copy and paste them all in one go, or go to the Premiere project timeline and copy-paste each marker and its timestamp one by one into Youtube.

I’ve generated captions and now need to edit and reformat how some of them appear on screen.  Where I could click on the caption and previously select it to visually edit it in the program window - the editor is creating an error where it does not select the captions to where they can be visually edited.I can edit them in the text window, which is not visual or expedient for reframing and formatting needs. This appears to be a new bug presented in captions and caption editing

Issue - Unstable playback of Canon c50 Raw in Premiere 26. Creates glitches, both colored squares like this and blackout frames. Other Canon camera’s Raw play well. Steps to Reproduce - All you need to do is import it. Happens in source and program monitor. rendering does not help. Expected Result - It plays as normal. Actual Result - See attached image. Premiere Version - 2026 OS - Sequoia 15.6.1Video Format: Happens in program and on export Happens in all projects. FWIW, these files play nicely in Resolve. Hoping there is an update to CC soon to fix this issue! 

There are still issues with generating waveforms in the timeline/source window. "Generate Audio Waveform" in the clip menu does literally nothing, mayhe that option is just there for ornamental purposes?  This has been a problem for years and you have to finally fix it. What ia going on??

Old problem, still here. I saw a few posts about this from like 10 and 5 months ago, saying it was fixed but it is not. I have latest version of Premiere and happens every time I switch from Editing to Audio workspace. I have to then close Audio track mixer tab and reopen in Windows dropdown menu to make it work. Is there no bug testing before they release new versions at Adobe???

I make changes to the timeline and it will not play.  If it does start to play it will not stop, or will only stop after sometime.  Began right after updating to 26.0

With the latest 25.2.3 (Build 4) version of Premiere, again the Waveform bug has re-appeared. Waveform generation starts, but then if you delete the media from your project, rather than Premiere stopping the waveform generation for that particular file, it just freezes at the point the waveform generation had got up to, and won't progress any further. It will stay like this forever, unless Premiere is closed and then re-started. Can this please be fixed again?
