I am seeking assistance with a recurring issue I have been experiencing with Adobe Substance 3D Stager. My computer configuration is MacOS Monterey 12.6.3 (2.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB). Despite my efforts to update and restart my computer, as well as uninstall and reinstall the Creative Cloud and Adobe applications, the issue persists. All of my other Adobe software is working properly, so I believe this issue is specific to Substance 3D Stager.I would be grateful for any assistance you can provide in resolving this issue, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.Thank you for your time and assistance.

Hello and good morning.  Perhaps a bug ?I applied a .psd file to an ojbject in 3D Stager,then decided I wanted to modify the .PSD file in Photoshop,so I opened Photoshop, did my edit, and saved the file and quit Photoshop.I then waited for Stager to update the edited PSD file, but it didn't. So I closed Stager completelyand started the program again. - The object in Stager is still reflecting the original .psd I had applied to the object ( a simple square )  So in the end, I had to delete the .psd file ( my applied material ) and bring it back in, and only then did it reflect the updated changes I had done in Photoshop. That's it,  I will continue to give bug and help out where I can.

Build 1.3.2-20221121.r.5371-81b5aeaMac OS Ventura 13.0 (22A380) (M1 iMac) I work with scenes that have a simple white background; global and a single environment light; and anywhere from hundreds to thousands of small elements ( that usually share from a set of 10-20 materials. When I have a file that has grown to thousands of elements, I notice that, even with very few elements visible, when I go to hide or show groups, the "hidden" icon will cascade across multiple groups, some of which appear or disappear seemingly at random.

I cannot deselect a selection completely - some of the blue selection-markings stay active even when I click outside the artboard - or select another object. 

Hi, can you tell me about the scene exported by Sg that the map cannot be automatically recognized in the UE5.1 resource, and the model only recognizes the first map. Other map errors are confused. Can you repair or make a bridge plug-in? Thank you for seeing it.

Hi! I'm not sure what's going on, I've been using Stager for a while however it seems like its import features are totally broken. I have a small model (~20K KB) yet when I go to import it into Stager, it says "Loading..." indefinitely, has anyone seen this? It's also guzzling my RAM, using over 120 GB worth...  

Hello, after making the renders, I open the psd file in photoshop and find the material masks completely black.How can I fix?Thank you

As soon as I add a decal the material of any object turns black. Cmon Stager-Team - you have to do better than that. A day without errors in stager is like winning the lottery. Are you really doing your best to make stager a great product? Often times I read things like "the team is aware of this problem" - but what are they doing about it? I lost countless hours just troubleshooting stager. At the time I'm not using stager that often for client-projects - If I had to - I would loose money with every project just because of the countless errors.  And the worst thing; the support is terrible. So many products that are a lot cheaper than adobe offer 24/7 live chat. 

Many substance materials produce an error when applying them in stager.

All my environment lighting-scenes/images are displaced vertically after rendering. Does anyone experience the same issue? 

After some testing I finally discovered at least one of the issues that seems to be causing Stager to crash when certain files from Dimension are imported. In a nutshell, remove ALL instances of the material layer called "fine grain plastic" as it seems to not want to allow Stager to render your scene. Hope this helps.

I just built a new computer with an Nvidia GEForce RTX 3070 and Windows 11, using Stager v1.3.1. When I open Stager on my MacBook (basic GPU), there is an option on the Render page to change the resolution of the PSD output, just above where you input the desired file name on the righthand side. However, when I go to render on my PC with the Nvidia card, that option is missing, and it doesn't return when I switch off GPU rendering. The only option is to change the viewport, filename, export formats, and save-to location. Currently, I can only render at 72 dpi, which it seems to be set to automatically is not great for any professional work I might do. Is there some setting I need to adjust in my Nvidia control panel that will bring back the option for changing dpi of the PSD output file? Maybe in the settings for Stager itself?  

Stager quit, and ever since despite restarting, removing and reinstalling i get this error then i have to force quit. How do i fix this?    

Hi i'm mohit. Talking about Adobe stager interface its easy and comfort to use all tool but lag in my mac is very irritating i dont know its happing to only in my mac or not. please help system specs :Apple macbook pro 2017 (256 Gb)Macos moneteryRam 8gb   

Hi, I've recently downloaded Stager and I've been trying to render some textures made is Designer and here is the problem :I've made 2 cylinders (merged) with different material in Designer, they're the same just one have a very smaller radius.Then I've made texture with opacity and a lot of displacement but the thing is the part that should not be visible still have an impact on the final render. As we can see on the first screen the bigger cylinder with height get a bit thinner at some point than the other one but this last one have opacity map that makes him invisible.Still, as we can see on second screen the absobtion color is impacted aswell as the base color (the dragon suddenly lose his color).Maybe it's not a bug and I'm doing something bad ? If it's the case I'd be glad if someone explain me. 

Hi Everyone, I have an issue with my Substance 3D Stager. i cant safe any assets or objects in my library. I used dimension before and there its always working. Can anyone help me here?Best regardsAndreas

I try to explain my problem:Building my meshes in Cheetah3D and exporting as OBJ and FBXImporting OBJ in Stager shows the mesh with all materials transparent(of course i can click each material and set the slider from transparent to 100% visible but thats just a bad solution)Importing the same mesh as an FBX shows the mesh but i cant aply a material proper because its just showing the main color of it...My workaround (bad solution):I open the OBJ File in painter (no problem), put on the different materials and send it to stager... If i open my FBX file in Painter, i have the same problem like i have in Stager - i cant place materials on it because it just shows the Main color of the placed material. Is it a problem of my exported obj/fbx file from cheetah3d?I try to set a download link of that simple file:https://immo-pano.de/Untitled.fbm.zip 

Hi evryone.i'm working with Stager since one year now, with an Imac i9 , 128go ram and AMD Radeon Pro XT 16go.But i still can't work with the GPU.Most of the time, Stager charges my cpu to 100%, crashes and i have to restart my mac.So i'm seriously wondering if i will pay for another year, with all these issues.Apple assistance told me that i will damage my CPU.Any chance to fix all these troubles ?Regards.

I know this has already been reported, but I wanted to chime in as well in case it help push it to the top of the patch list. I purchased the full Substance 3D suite yesterday spefically for Stager. As a long time Dimension user, I was absolutely LOVING Stager, and made many vehicle wraps this morning with incredible results. I'm also very pleased that the GPU rendering works, unlike being hit and miss in Dimension. Then, I tried to decorate a much smaller scale product. Instead of a car, it was a backpack. I simply wanted an up-close shot of a logo on the backpack. I realized quickly that on smaller models  the decals were being terribly downsampled even though high resolution PNG's (also tried vector SVG's) were inported. After trying multiple things (different resolution decal imports, scaling the model WAY up and WAY down, etc...) I then hit these forumns only to find out that the issue is known and a fix is in the works. I purchased the suite not to decorate ca

Seems USD import does ignore the UsdTransform2d schema even when Stager itself supports texture transforms (translation, scale and even rotation). This seems to be a bug in the importer. I can't attach a support file since this forum for a product that can load glTF and USD files does not support attaching glTF and USD files, but it reproduces with any file that uses UsdTransform2d schemas.

First i thought i have only a problem with the Update of Painter 8.1.1 because materials placed on mesh looks destroyed. But now i realize ive also a problem with the Update of Stager 1.2.2. Different from the previous version, when i place material like wood on the imported mesh (fbx), the mesh just gets a color but no structure. Also from Painter imported mesh is corrupted.I am working with M1 MBP 16GB Ram.Is there any help except downgrading Stager back to 1.1.2 and also Painter from 8.1.1 to 7.4.3?Ive alresdy posted requests in Painter support bec i cant work in it also. I am happy for any helpLaas

After I add a decal (jpg) to an object of any kind - the material just turns black. I tried different images and objects with no success. I generated UV Maps - so that shouldn't be the problem. I also can't see objects in liveview mode - they just completely disappear.  What is going wrong over there at Adobe? During the last few months I had nothing but issues with the whole Substance-Product-Line but also with Photoshop etc...
