Got updated to the new Camera Raw so I upgraded back to 12.2.1. Unfortunately, double clicking raw files in Bridge now opens them in Photoshop even though Double-Click Edits Camera Raw Settings in Bridge is selected. Any ideas how to fix this?
Hi, recently I purchased a new Imac and updated as I took from the delivery box to Big Sur. Uploaded my Lightroom (which is also installed on my old laptop with Windows) The app loaded up no problem, then I started to add in my purchased presets along with Topaz Denoise. All seemed ok. However when I go to save my files after editing (RAW files from camera) and yes I can do what ever changes I want to the image in Lightroom, but when I go to export thre imagea window comes up saying file cannot be written saying the IMG_06211.CR2 along with a small icon of Topaz. I have removed all apps from Topaz, removed Lightroom and reinstalled and its still doing the same thing. I did not reinstall Topaz. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Very dissappointed as now having to work back on the laptop to do editing in Lightroom and this Imac was not cheap!!! RegardsPeter Western Australia
Macbook Pro 2015 Mojave Photoshop 2021 After opening a small handful of Sony ARW files in ACR, loaded and displayed correctly, ACR crashes. Today I selected all four ARW files and zoomed to 100% which resulted in dozens of ACR panels being generated behind the main ACR panel. The Macbook pro locked up again, totally unresponsive the only option was to power down. I have been using Photoshop since the late 90’s and have never experienced this behaviour before.
Using camera raw editing is extremely slow and unresponsive for 2 to 4 minutes after ANY editing change. Never a problem in previous version. Enlarege, reduce, sliders, numbers diredtly - anything. Totally unuseable now in this version. Regular editing no issues.
Hi, I guess I'm not the first one to point out this kind of issues with the latest Camera Raw, but I'm a bit worried -- just built a new computer --, so I'd like to know if I can consider these issues really software-related. So: as I said, new computer. Specs are: CPU Intel i9-10850k, 32GB DDR4, 480GB SSD for SO and a 2TB HD for storage (not being used at the moment). My graphics card arrived later, so I used both the integrated GPU from Intel (motherboard is an Asus ROG Strix Z490-F) and the new VGA (an Asus RTX 3080 TUF) -- and had issues on Camera Raw with both. It would freeze the computer with the integrated GPU, which then had to be hard-reset. Now, using the 3080, I had freezes, and lately BSOD. Problem seems to go away when I disable GPU acceleration at Camera Raw settings. Pretty sure the BSODs are being caused by a GPU driver failure, but the VGA works flawlessly otherwise. I've ran stress tests on CPU, memories and GPU and played a couple of high-demandi
I was trying to download the Adobe DNG converter 13.1 (Mac version) for my Fuji RAF files. However, when I click on the 'download now' button in the Adobe download page, it does not download. It does not give any message either. Is this product still available for download?
Anyone else having issues with Adobe RAW? Mine is displaying everything incorrectly. Everything is black except the image itself...
In the latest Version of ACR, the Converter cops ever pictures even when the crop fucntion is not set.So this is a very very frustrating situation, while croping is a very special thing and must be set extra in the past and is not part of the normal seted functions. If you have a look in the setting tool, crop is not set for the next picture, but when you chose it for the next, crop is applied even when it is not not. So if you work an an croped image, the next one will also be croped. This makes absolutly no sense and is the first time since the beginning of ACR.This must be a bug and must be fixeed please. Thanks and regards

Edit: Issue resolved since Camera Raw 12.2.1 came out the other day. I've updated it and it works now! Hi thereI've had a look for similar issues on the forum, but couldn't find anything similar. My Camera Raw is not showing the dialogue boxes correctly. I can't see the labels for any of the functions, making it impossible to edit raw files on it.I've tried turning of GPU acceleration and also changing my Photoshop dark mode to light. I'm not using dark mode in MacOS either (I've seen suggestions like that for other issues).Help please 🙂 Currently on MacOS Mojave - 2015 iMac See attached screenshot.
I am in ACR 13.1 & now my liquify is NOT working @ all. I just let an Adobe tech get into my computer to fix it & he couldn't. Essentially he told me with the new update, I would need to buy a graphics card & have it installed. does anyone know it I can go back to an older version of camera raw to when my graphics card was working. I literally asked him if I could do that & he gave me the instructions for installing Camera Raw plug in 13.1. So he was NO help @ all. I'm upset to say the least. IF I have to have a graphics card installed on my somewhat new computer , is it expensive ?
when i open camera raw in photoshop its over zoomed and i am not able to see the lower bar so as to cancel or open the file . can anyone pls help
Okay, I seem to be getting mixed messages regarding whether or not one can download raw images from Nikon Z6 ii to Lightroom. I have tried downloading from my cfexpress card using my Delkin card reader but nothing seems to happen. I'm not interested in any back door way of doing this, or putting them in some other format to accomplish this. I just want to hook up my reader and have my images populate in my lightroom. Am I asking too much??
I just upgraded to Camera Raw 13.1 from before version 12.3, and the interface is quite different. I often use Smart Object layers and open them multiple times in Camera Raw, each time making different tweaks.Let's say that I opened the image for the first time in Camera Raw and made changes. Then I opened it a second time and made additional changes. Is there a way to toggle the view between the changes made the second time in Camera Raw and the changes made since opening it a second time? That used to be the P key, but now P toggles between the way the image looked the first time it was opened and edited in Camera Raw and all changes made.
Good evening, I deliberately tried to max out the RAM usage working in ACR 13.1 on a .NEF raw file by moving almost every slider there is, I have Photoshop's RAM limit set to 7.4GB in the Performance tab in the settings but apprently that doesn't mean anything, CameraRaw will just keep eating more and more RAM until I either have no live preview anymore or the whole thing crashes. Is there a way to fix this? I wouldn't want to have to keep watching over my shoulder for how much RAM usage PS is using everytime I'm working on something and risk losing everything. Using:Adobe Photoshop CC 2018Adobe CameraRaw 13.1AMD Ryzen 5 3500U 4c/8t (laptop)16GB of RAM (effectively 14GB since the iGPU allocates 2GB for itself)PS has 24GB of cache allowed on an NVME SSD.(I also noticed that PS (ACR) uses all the iGPU's allocated RAM (2GB) and all 7GB of the virual VRAM) Thank you.
I'm using CS4 with camera raw 5.0. Looking for 5.7 version plugin for my canon 5II. Is it still avaliable? Thanks
I would like to uninstall Adobe Camera Raw 10.4 (on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6). How do I proceed ?

I installed Camera RAW 13.1a few days ago, the other yesterday I developed some images without problems but since last night every time I enter in Camera RAW my pc crashes. Photoshop works perfectly. Advice on how to solve? Many thanks
After investigating the new ACR (12.3) i have downgrade the ACR to V12.2. Being a loyal heavy user and a teacher of ACR / bridge / photoshop, as i edit hundreds of images simultaneously on each project,i consider to start learningCapture 1 - as the “new kid in town” that listen to his costumer. the last ACR is a night mare for me. as i see in this forum, its many users night mare, and we are not talking about getting use to the new interface. we are talking about many features that are gone or changed now, that made my workflow with multiple images “run” fast and efficient. now , after trying the V12.3 on a few projects, as each one of them too 3 (!!) times more than they used and meant to, i downgraded the ACR to V12.2 (and have issues with the “preview editing images on Bride…. so as i wrote in the beginning, i consider move to “Capture 1” here are some examples of issues with the new interface that are slowing down the workflow tremendously (of many):
I know its a much older version, but can I get the 5.7 camera raw update to try?Using bridge is nice, and trying to sort through old and new files, but I cant see the new files.Using Mac OS 10.13.thanks!
Before you tell me this is ACR "working as intended" with cropping, please take a look at my illustration graphic below.I can't see this being a "feature", it's just messed up.This problem started occurring a couple of releases ago, and still hasn't been fixed as of 13.1.0.658The (tedious) workaround is to:Apply Previous Settings (ignore the fact it messes up the cropping etc)From the same ... menu select Copy Edit Settings (or just hit Ctrl+C)UNDO (Ctrl+Z), which will remove the bad Apply Previous SettingsSelect Paste Edit Settings (i.e. Ctrl+P) to apply all those settings you wanted WITHOUT the messed up cropping and tiled edge pixels. Looking forward to a fix! Thanks Adobe 🙂
Hello!I am having issues with camera raw when editing RAW photos. It is so slow I cannot work with it at all. Last time I checked (around v12.0) , I had this problem and had to do my work on another pc, then haven't used it for some time. How is this still an issue several versions later? I am very annoyed. I tried all the steps mentioned in troubleshooting. Thank you for your help, and I trust you finally fix this issue so I can use my products that I pay money for. Best regards, Robert
It seems a ton of people are experiencing freezing in CameraRAW 13.1. Trying to drag any sliders causes it to get very choppy and then eventually completely freeze up the Mac. The only way out is to do a force reboot. It seems the temporary fix is to turn off Hardware Acceleration. Go to Photoshop->Preferences->CameraRAW->Performance and set Use Graphics Processor to OFF. It will now work pefectly without freezing up, however, it'll run super-slow. It's at least a doable fix until Adobe fixes the bug. -Brian
